Xenysis's POV- Endless Abyss

As Xenysis gazed angrily at the unending darkness,his clothes changed back to how they were before.

Sora: "Wha…"

Ansem, far-off: "Behold the endless abyss! Within it, lies the heart of all worlds: Kingdom Hearts!"

Then, a sphere with fire mixed into the darkness formed around Xenysis. When the sphere dissipated, he wore a scale chestplate with leather shoulder pads, the one to the right having a fire symbol while the one on the left had a Heartless insignia. The front of his chestplate bore the insignia of the Nobody.

Ansem: "Look as hard as you are able. You'll not find even the smallest glimmer of light. From those dark depths are all hearts born, even yours."

A giant ship appeared right in front of them. At the end of the ship, Ansem stood with a double-sided Soul Eater. The ship was mostly red with splashes of blue mixed in. It seemed to be made of a living material.

Ansem: "Darkness conquers all worlds!"

At that moment, gravity took over on us all. While Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Xenysis started falling, Dragonose spread his wings, and flew upward. Xenysis then formed wings of darkness, and caught up with Dragonose. Below, Donald and Goofy were sucked into a dark portal. Sora, meanwhile, continued falling.

Sora: "Whoa!"

After a minute of falling, Sora soared upward without any help from wings. He met up with Dragonose and Xenysis, and they glided over to where Ansem was. He swiped at each of them with incredible speed. However, they each could hold up well against Ansem. Sora's magic with Dragonose's dual wielding and Xenysis's tri-wielding took down Ansem quite quickly. He recalled his Soul Eater, crossed his arms, and converged into the guardian-shaped cover behind him. A portal appeared nearby, and Sora dived in. After about a full minute of waiting, Sora came back out with an explosion in behind him just before the portal closed.

The ship's guardian-shaped bow didn't looked happy, either. It summoned up some artillery, and started attacking the trio. While Sora took out the six smaller ones, Dragonose and Xenysis quickly took out the two big ones. When the artillery was destroyed, another portal to darkness appeared in front of them, and Dragonose flew in. After only a couple of moments, he flew back out with Goofy on his back. He looked unconscious.

Sora: "Goofy!"

Dragonose: "He'll be in our way if we keep him near us."

Xenysis: "Leave that to me."

Xenysis took out a Deadly Nadder scale, and attached it to the keychain of his Lover's Embrace. He made a locking motion in the air, and a stream of magnesium-fire shot out the tip. The fire formed a circle in front of him, and xenysis made an unlocking motion into the circle of fire. The fire spread into the center of the circle, creating a portal. Out of the portal came Equitar.

Dragonose set Goofy on Equitar, and the dragon flew off to the only platform in the darkness. Just as Equitar was out of the way, the front of the ship formed a second head, and a bolt of lightning shot near the group. Dragonose shot dragonfire at the head while Sora cast Thundaga and Xenysis cast Blizzaga. Soon afterward, the head seemed to have growled, and a wave of dark energy shot outward toward the group. The wave went right through Xenysis, and Dragonose could easily block it, but Sora was completely knocked off balance for a full second. As soon as Sora finally recovered from the attack, the head opened it's mouth, and a portal to darkness was inside.

Xenysis decided that it was his turn to go through the portal, and he found himself in a room surrounded by invincible heartless. 'Invincible, my ass.' A single hand gesture later, and the heartless were nowhere to be seen. With the group of heartless gone, Xenysis could see Donald laying on the ground, unconscious as well. Xenysis, after sighing, brought out a Night Fury scale, and attached it to the Furyblade. With a locking motion in the air, the Furybade shot eight plasma blasts, forming a ring with elemental fire connecting the blasts.

He make an unlocking motion in the ring, and another portal of fire appeared. Fury flew through it, and landed near Donald. Xenysis easily calmed Fury down, and Fury let him strap Donald in. Xenysis told Fury to leave the chamber, then went over to the core of the chamber. With two quick slices, the core was destroyed. Xenysis quickly navigated the portal to darkness, and came out just in time for the portal to close. Fury already went to Equitar.

The head was destroyed, leaving a stump. The force field around the ship's heart dissipated, and Xenysis wasted no time in landing. Once Sora and Dragonose caught up, Xenysis already destroyed the artillery in the area. Xenysis switched the Lover's Revenge with the One-Winged Angel.

Xenysis: "The only way to defeat and destroy him is with a fully-powered trinity limit."

Xenysis used a megalixir, and Sora and Dragonose hesitantly lent all their magical power to Xenysis. Xenysis placed Sora's magic into the Lover's Embrace, Dragonose's into the One-Winged Angel, and his own into the Furyblade. He then formed the three keyblades into one, the Lover's Embrace.

With this keyblade, he stabbed the floor, spun above it while twisting the keyblade, and landed on it. This caused the keyblade to go further in, and a magical circle appeared around the Lover's Embrace. The circle's power engulfed into its center, then Xenysis pulled out his keyblade, aimed it at the heart-like core, and fire the trinity limit. A wide beam of pure light on one side and pure darkness on the other shot from the Lover's Embrace.

This beam hit the core, and it imploded. Xenysis quickly flew out of there, calling the dragons. He handed Goofy to Sora, and mounted Equitar with Dragonose, while Sora mounted Fury precariously with Donald and Goofy. On the dragons, they were able to get out of the way of the blast in time.

As soon as they were out of the way, the entire ship exploded, releasing Ansem from the grip of his guardian-like bow, and his first set of clothes returned to him. He was floating before the door to kingdom hearts.

Ansem: "It is futile. The keyblade alone cannot seal the door to darkness."

Ansem quickly spun around, facing the door. He seemed to be reaching for it.

Ansem: "Kingdom Hearts! Fill me with the powers of darkness… Supreme darkness."

Sora: "You're wrong! I know now, without a doubt."

Dragonose: "Kingdom Hearts… is light!"

The door, instead of opening to darkness like what Ansem wanted, opened to light. The light destroyed Ansem's very being, and the light dimmed back down. The trio landed and ran over to the door. While Dragonose and Xenysis tried pushing the left door closed, Sora pushed the right.

Sora: "Come on!"

Xenysis decided to take a single peek into the door, and found the true heartless homeworld. He ended up staring into it. Dragonose noticed.

Dragonose: "Stop staring and keep pushing!"

Xenysis moved to the right slightly, and jumped into the door. Then, he pulled at the door from inside, and surprisingly, Riku walked by and began pulling at the other door.

Sora: "I can't…"

Riku: "Don't give up! Come on, Sora! Together, we can do it!"

Sora nodded, and Dragonose noticed that Xenysis was on the other side.

Dragonose: "Xenysis!?"

Xenysis: "Don't follow, Dragonose! This is the only way for me to find Ymke!"

Xenysis recalled the dragons, and Donald and Goofy landed in a heap. Behind Riku and Xenysis, two darksides appeared. 'Luckily, they shouldn't be that hard to defeat.' Then, the darksides were quickly decimated. Donald and Goofy were pushing the door, and peeked inside. Xenysis looked behind him, and found a mouse-shaped being about Donald's size standing with a keyblade in his hand. Riku explained while pulling that this was King Mickey.

Donald and Goofy: "Your majesty!"

Mickey: "Now Sora! Lets close this door for good!"

Donald: "Close it, quick!"

Sora: "But-"

Mickey: "Don't worry. There will always be a door to the light."

Goofy: "Sora, you can trust king mickey."

As the door closed, Riku stated one last line to Sora.

Riku: "Take care of her."

Xenysis jumped back just as the door shut, and summoned three keyblades: The Lover's Embrace, the Fury Blade, and the One-Winged Angel. He pointed all three at the door, and a beam of light appeared on the tip of each one. Mickey did the same with his keyblade. The four beams shot the door, and a large clicking sound could be heard in the darkness. The door completely disappeared.

Xenysis and Mickey recalled their keyblades, and while Riku and Mickey went one way, Xenysis noticed a figure in the other direction that looked like Ymke. He followed her, and accidentally bumped into Xirksis.

Xenysis: "whoops! Sorry."

Xirksis: "It's alright. I'm guessing that you're following that Nobody over there?"

Xenysis: "Yeah. I think that she used to be Ymke."

Xirksis: "How about you come with me? I have to bring her to my boss, anyway."

Xenysis: "In that case, alright."

Xenysis quickly caught up with the Nobody, and Xirksis explained to her what was going on. The Nobody agreed to come along, and Xirksis summoned a portal to darkness under them.

Dragonose's POV

Dragonose summoned his keyblades, as well as Sora. They pointed them at the door, and two beams of light shot at it. A clicking sound could be heard, and the door disappeared. Behind Sora, Kairi somehow made all the way to the platform. 'How did she even get all the way here?'

Sora ran over to Kairi, and sand started to form around her. Dragonose could barely hear them as they spoke. While they quickly spoke together, the world around them was beginning to tear itself apart as all the other worlds began rebuilding themselves.

Sora: "Kairi!"

Kairi: "Sora!"

Sora: "Kairi, remember what you said before? I'm always with you, too. I'll come back to you! I promise!"

Kairi: "I know you will!"

The island of sand and the platform to Kingdom Hearts were far enough apart that they couldn't reach each other. Soon, the sand spread into more familiar forms. That separate island was transforming into the real Destiny Isles.

As Kairi was taken away from Sora, the platform that this quartet was on was being transformed into a meadow with a single road. Comical trees were dotted here and there along that road. Sora and Dragonose decided that the best idea would probably be to follow that road and see where it lead.

Donald: "Well, now what do we do?"

Sora: "We've gotta find Riku and King Mickey."

Goofy: "But, uh, where do we start looking for that there door to the light?"

Just as the group was about to give up, a strange yellow dog with a thin black tail, and letter in his mouth trotted by.

Donald: "Pluto?!"

Goofy: "Hey, Pluto. Where have you been?"

Then, the trio next to Dragonose noticed the letter in Pluto's mouth.

Goofy: "Gawrsh, that's the king's seal!"

Dragonose: "Hey, have you seen King Mickey?"

After that, Pluto ran off. Sora and Dragonose started after him, and Donald and Goofy followed them. While they were running, Dragonose and Sora that strange voice one last time.
