II.

Most people would simply walk away from their husband if he could shoot energy blasts from his hands. Most people would run and never come back. Most people would leave the smoking pile of shrapnel on the ground and not look back. Bulma was not most people.

She spent the next few minutes collecting all the pieces that could be salvaged from the ground and took them down to her lab and began to try to piece them together. They seemed to be parts of a cell phone but she couldn't find the memory chip that would allow her to tap into the internal storage of the device.

She was interrupted by the sounds of crashing and shouting upstairs along with crying from Bra's room. Bulma sighed and put down her magnifying glass. Dusting off her hands, she made her way upstairs to where Vegeta was probably training with Trunks again and pushed him too far.

Bulma was surprised to say the least when she found Videl shouting at Vegeta who stood there laughing at her antics. She watched in horror as the girl went straight to punch Vegeta, then cringed as she fell to the ground clutching her, fractured if not broken, hand. She huffed and then walked towards the two.

"This stops right now!"

Flashback:

Videl soared through the air, quicker than she usually was able to. She could see Gohan flying after her in the distance, but he was keeping his distance. Smart boy.

When Capsule Corp. came into sight, her anger was fueled to a higher level and she barged straight in the door to find Trunks in the hall.

"Where is he?" She asked in a low tone, hands shaking at her sides. Trunks pointed down the hall and quickly moved out of the way for her to stalk into the kitchen where Vegeta sat eating something, or everything as Saiyans usually did.

"Why the hell did you break my phone?!" Videl shouted, barely getting a reaction out of the man. She stormed over to the table, sliding his plate over, over and onto the floor. "I said, you arrogant little monkey, why did you break my phone like that!"

Vegeta got up and there was a look of murder in his eyes. "What did you call me earth brat?" Videl paused a moment as Trunks ran from the hall. What did she get herself into?

Videl looked up from the ball she was curled up on the floor. She was stupid enough to just fly in and try to hurt him. He helped save the world for Kami's sake, and she thought that she could hurt him in the slightest? Ha! As if. Bulma was approaching from the hallway, but she could barely hear the words shouted between the married couple through the pain of her hand and the rushing of blood through her ears that came with it.

"Are you okay?" Trunks was holding a hand out to her. Videl grasped it with her good hand, allowing him to pull her over to one of the kitchen tables. A few seconds later he handed her a towel with ice wrapped in it. She tenderly placed it on her hand and waited for Bulma to stop talking to her husband.

"Hey Videl," Bulma said, walking over to her. "So why are you attacking Vegeta? Not that I care, but we're just trying to get things straight." Videl sighed rolling her eyes.

"It's all my fault that I'm hurt. Goku came home when I was looking for my phone and said that Vegeta had destroyed it and I was so angry that I just flew here without thinking and started shouting at him." Videl looked to the retreating form of Vegeta before speaking again. "Then again, it probably wasn't even his fault. Goku said he brought it over here so it may have been his fault as well but.." Videl smashed her face into her good hand and let out a loud sigh. "I'm an idiot for thinking that this would work."

Bulma laughed and nodded in agreement. "Well, we know that this probably isn't the best course of action ever again." The smile faded a bit before, "But he did destroy your phone, if that was what it was. I think the ringer went off and he found it to be threatening. Goku of course did nothing to stop it. Useless that man is." Bulma muttered the last part.

Videl sighed and slumped down in her seat. "So that's the end of it then." Bulma looked to her, confused. "I had almost all of my information on there instead of my computer because I'm always running around doing stuff." She explained. "Including a couple of my term papers, some personal information, and all of my contacts." She let out a small laugh. "Pretty funny how all that can be on a simple phone, right?"

Gohan took that moment to come in the room and approach his girlfriend, giving her a kiss on the head and wrapping his arms around her. "Are you okay?" His voice was filed with worry.

"I'll be fine, I think I fractured my hand though." Gohan looked up to Bulma who nodded and he ran out the door towards the Lookout, where hopefully Dende would be willing to come down for a visit and to heal her hand.

"I have the pieces down in my lab if you want to try and retrieve some of the memory." Videl nodded and Bulma took her then to the wing where she frequently patched up Vegeta after he trained too hard, and wrapped up her hand nicely. After that, they both went down to her lab and they spent the day trying to fix up her phone; Vegeta not included.
