A/N Hey I hope the Evie/Elena argument was to your satisfaction. We didn't get to see that much of Elena in the movies so I made her into a jealous bitch lol sorry. This story is really coming along though and I hope Paul Walker is watching me write this and smiling.

Chapter 13

The guys and Mia got home about thirty minutes after Evie and Elenas argument. Evie stood at the top of the stairs and listened to see if Elena would say anything else, just like she used to when she was younger and her " parents " would rag on Brian.

It seemed like there wasn't gonna be another round so she called down to Mia. She was up there in a couple minutes with Jack in her arms. " Hey girl how was the support group? " She asked and Evies eyes went wide.

' Did all that really happen in one day? I had a break through, my parents are going to prison, and Elena accuses me of trying to take Dom from her. What a day it has been. '

" Evie? You okay? " She asked worriedly.

" Hmm? Oh yeah the group went good, but that's not what I wanted to talk about. Why the hell did Elena wake me up out my sleep over some bull shit? " She asked getting heated all over again.

Mia looked confused. " Elena was here? She and Dom got into it at the garage and she left. I didn't know she came here. What'd she say? " She asked siting on the bed, Jack chewing on his fist.

Evie stood by the window looking out to the street. " The crazy bitch came here and accused me of trying to steal Dom from her. She said I needed to find someone who isn't taken. Then she saw my scars and said the only reason Dom is so nice to me is because he feels sorry for me.

I almost hit her Mia she practically laughed at my pain. I- I don't think I can be around her Mia. I just had a break through and was feeling really good about myself and then she has to dump all over it. " She said and Mia got this look of eery calm.

" Excuse me. " She said getting up with Jack nestled on he hip and speed walked out of there.

Evie didn't know what was gonna happen, but she was sure she wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. As she walked downstairs she could hear Mia yelling from the back. She walked through the living room and dining room to th kitchen and her voice got louder and louder. She looked out the window and saw everyone with mad expressions on their faces.

She walked out the back door and everyone looked at her. Dom was cracking his knuckles, which he always did when he was mad. Mia started up again when she saw me. " And then she had the nerve to tell Evie that you're only nice to her because you feel bad for her, and then laugh in her face about her scars. I really liked Elena, but lets be honest we don't really know her! If she can do and say things like that then maybe she shouldn't be a part of this family. I don't need that kind of person around my son. " She finished and was out of breath.

Evie really didn't know what to say, Mia had handled it like Evie had thought an older sister would. And then it hit her, really hit her that this was her family. They would always be on her side. Dom looked like he could kill someone rite then and there. Brian walked up to her and gave her one of his famous hugs.

" It's sad to say, but you're rite Mia she needs to go. No one hurts anyone in this family we made that clear from the start. She knows what happened to Evie and knew that what she said would hurt her. She isn't the person we thought she was. " Dom said trying to reign in his anger.

Everyone accepted Dom as the head of the family a long time ago. What he said went and everyone's willingness to cut Elena off with no hesitation proved it. It also proved that they would all do anything for one another. Brian stood with his arm around his baby sister as they all agreed.

" Eves at least tell us that you let her have it. You didn't just let her talk to you like that. " He said looking at her.

She grinned. " Are you kidding me? I told her that if I was her I'd watch what I said because she doesn't know me or what I've been through, let alone what I'm capable of. " She said and he pulled her in for a tight side hug.

" That's my sis. " He said laughing.

Dom cleared his throat and looked at Evie. " Can we talk in the garage for a minute? " He asked holding his hand out for her to take. Just like in Costa Rica she took it and let him lead her.

Once they were away from everyone he pulled her in a tight hug. " Dom- I can't breathe. " She said and he let her go.

" I'm so sorry Evie. I can't believe she said what she said. I don't feel sorry for you, I- I love you. I think I've loved you for a long time. What I feel for Elena can't compete with how I feel about you. " He said going in the old toolbox, pulling out her dog tags and handing them to her.

She laughed when she saw them. " Oh my god I thought I left them in Costa Rica. How'd you get them? " She asked and he looked ashamed.

" I took them off of the desk in your motel room when Brian told you that he was sending you back to Boston. Sorry, I just wanted a part of you with me. I know I hurt you, I just couldn't get that close to you while I was on the run. It would have only ended ba- Well it still ended badly damn! " He said punching the garage wall.

Evie walked to him and softly grabbed his now bleeding hand. " I understand Dom. I don't blame you or Brian for what happened. Neither of you knew what was going to happen. And yes, I was hurt- " She said looking at the floor. " But I got over it and since I've been here I've really learned about what it really means to be a part of a family. I just I guess I want to thank you for being so patient and nice.

I don't want you to let Elena go just because of me. If she makes you happy I'm sure I can learn to Co-exist. You've already done so mu- " She didn't get to finish what she was saying because Dom had her lifted up by her thighs and was exploring her mouth with his tongue.

They were so into their kiss that they didn't notice anyone come in the garage. The next thing Evie knew she was being pulled by her hair away from Dom. She landed hard on the ground and looked up to see Elena standing above her with murder in her yes.

Evie saw red and kicked Elenas legs from under her and climbed on top of her and started beating her face in. Dom couldn't help the heat he felt seeing his Evie beating ass. He let it go on for a minute before he pulled her off of Elena. " I told you to watch yourself! " She yelled arms and legs flailing.

" You told me you weren't after Dom and here you are sticking you tongue down his throat. I guess you're just a lying, scarred freak! " She yelled wiping the blood from her face.

Brian ran in and couldn't believe what he was seeing. His baby sister was being restrained by Dom and Elenas face was bloody. " What the hell is going on in here? " He asked and everything ceased. Evie settled down and Dom let her go.

" What's going on is your sister is a man stealing whore! " Elena yelled in his face.

Evie ran behind her and yanked her by the hair to the ground just like she had did to her. " Don't get in my brothers face like that! And I didn't steal anything. The kiss just happened and if you wouldn't have seen it you'd have never known, so when your ass got kicked to the curb you'd have known it was because you're a spiteful bitch and not because Dom doesn't love you. " She said fast and then covered her mouth in shock at what she had just said.

" What? " Was Brian and Elenas reactions.

Evie didn't know why she said that. Maybe it was just to hurt the bitch like she had hurt her. She felt bad though because it wasn't her place to say that. Dom snapped out of it and then glared at Elena.

" I think you should leave. " He said looking at Elena. She obviously misunderstood because she grinned at Evie.

" See what happens when you play with fire little bitch? " She asked trying to get Doms arms around her.

" Yeah you get burned. " He said holding her away from him. " I was talking to you Elena I want you to leave. You're not the woman I thought you were because if you were you'd have never went after Evie. Now leave. " He said more forcefully.

Elena looked defeated. " You mean you're really choosing this child over me? " She asked sadly.

Dom looked at her with an intense glare and said " Every time. "

Later that night Evie was trying to fall asleep. Tossing and turning with images of her father stuck in her mind. After an hour she got up and tip toed across the hall to Doms room. She cracked the door open and peeked in. There he lay with his arm over his face shirt-less, lightly snoring.

She quietly walked in and shut the door behind her. She walked to the other side of the bed and gently crawled under the sheets. She spent a few minutes looking at his beautiful body in the moonlight before falling into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.

Dom woke up sometime in the early morning and rolled on to his side only to find himself on top of the woman he had dreamed about. He got off of her and scooted over so he wasn't squashing her. He reached his hand over and ran his fingers through her beautiful strawberry blonde hair.

She moved herself closer to him in her sleep and mumbled " mmmmm Dom. " A huge grin spread across his face at the sound of his name on her lips. He watched her for a while longer before situating them both so that they were spooning with their lags wrapped in each others. He put his nose in her neck and breathed in her clean scent.

The morning light flooded into the room. Evie opened her eyes feeling more rested than she ever remember being. A huge arm was around her waist, knowing it was Dom she turned in his arms and nestled in his warmth. His arms tightened around her and he buried his face in her neck.

" Good morning Cara. " He said rolling the R in a very arousing way rolling her on her back and laying himself in between her legs, resting his weight on his elbows. " Did you sleep well? In my bed? Hmmmm? " He asked in his sexy sleepy voice.

She stretched her arms above her head, arching her back in the process making her core rub against his morning wood. " MMMM yes I did. You bed is verrrry comfortable. " She said running her hand down his perfectly sculpted abs.

" I see you did. It's funny because I remember going to sleep alone. Did someone get lonely? " He asked slowly bucking up hitting her core again.

" MMMM yes. I didn't want to sleep alone. " She moaned softly.

Dom put all of his muscled chest against her and said " well since you slept so good in my bed I think I deserve repayment. "

" Oh yeah? What could you possibly want from little ol me? " She asked shivering when his hand traveled up her thigh getting really close to her clothed center.

Knock Knock Knock!

" Dom is Evie in there? Someone has been calling for her non stop and she left her phone in the kitchen. " Mia called from the hallway.

Dom groaned and rolled off of her and glared at the door. Evie laughed at his face and got up before he could pin her again.
