Kim lounged out on the couch. She had been talking with her mom on the kimmunicator since about 11 am and it was now 12:15. Her dad came by to say hi once, and she even had to wave at the Tweebs, but her real person of interest was her mother. Anne Possible. Just seeing her smiling face made Kim smile herself. This was by far the worst part about a long-term mission like this one.

They'd talked about the mission, the school, the kids, the soccer, and so many other topics that Kim could think of. But there was one that she had purposefully avoided, and it was that of a feathery, black haired and piercing blue-eyed boy who preferred the name, Danny Fenton. Since their relationship was strictly platonic, she didn't see why it was important to bring him up, and therefore directly neglected to discuss it.

Currently, they had been discussing new information she'd been able to receive about the mission, and all was well until there was a small interruption.

Knock, knock, knock

Kim paused and looked at the door. "Hang on, Mom, someone's outside my door." She still held the kimmunicator in her left hand while she opened the door with her right.

"Kim!" The intruder smiled brightly, and Kim - though shocked by his arrival - smiled brightly, and said:

"Danny! I wasn't expecting to see you till later tonight. What's up?"

Danny shrugged, "Well, I was in the neighborhood, and wanted to know if you wanted to grab a bite to eat for lunch."

"Uhhh… yea. Just give me like ten seconds," Kim smiled, and turned around. She held the kimmunicator up to her face, and whispered.

"Mom, I uh –"

"Say no more, Kimmie. I understand. And just by the way, he's pretty cute. You two should –" Kim hung up before she could do any more damage.

They left to go to the Nasty Burger for lunch, and then separated once again. Although he said it was because of Saturday chores, Danny knew he couldn't spend the entire day neglecting his ghost-hunting duties, but he promised to meet up at the mall for seven before leaving her at the front of her apartment building, and taking off down the street.

6:49

Kim walked with ease down the dusky street. The sun had already concluded its show of oranges, violets, and vermilions during setting, but it did not descend completely out of the sky; there was still some partial light being shone through the thick layer of trees, so Kim wasn't walking by herself in the dark… yet.

But why should she worry about that anyways? She was Kim POSSIBLE. She could do anything! Including walking by herself down a desolate street. This was no big.

…or at least that's what she was telling herself as she felt a presence behind her. She got that feeling at the nape of her neck, and knew she was no longer alone. She tried to maintain a level head, so took a logistic approach, and began to think about who could be tailing her.

It could be Danny. Maybe he was walking behind her, and hadn't noticed her, yet, as they approached the mall. Only that couldn't be it. If Danny had noticed her, he would've caught up to her or at least call her name, which meant he didn't see her. But that wasn't right either because she could feel the eyes of the follower stabbing into her back.

It could be Phantom, but that didn't make much sense either considering he didn't attack. He was a ghost; they had no thought process before attacking; so it ruled out that, too.

She could look behind her, but if she did that, the person might make a run for her or the other way. It was too risky. Instead, she increased her pace. The mall couldn't be too far away now.

Suddenly, she felt the villainous eyes release from their stare, and felt it safe to look behind her. When she did, she realized the entire thing must've been in her head; there wasn't a sole behind her. She flipped her head back around, and jumped in surprise. She inhaled sharply, and tried to scream to get someone's attention on the street, but a wet cloth hit her mouth as soon as it opened.

It was soaked in something, but Kim didn't have time to think about what it could be. She immediately swatted the hand away, and looked up to her attacker, who was much taller than her.

He had thick black hair that was styled to stick up to two large clumps while the rest flipped out at the bottom. He had a gray streak of grown-in hair about two inches past his middle-part. Kim could tell he was strong; his well-built chest protruded under a white suit with an oddly flared cape. He wore black boots and a black belt. But none of that was what registered in Kim as being off.

She suddenly realized his skin was an odd green hue and he had solid red eyes. That was when she noticed the glowing aura to him. "…ghost…" she whispered.

"Smart girl," it smirked at her.

Immediately she ran in to attack. While she normally preferred waiting for the perfect opportunity to fight, Kim knew she had the lower hand in this situation. The best case scenario was to get out of there and run away. And the worst… well she couldn't think about that.

She punched him in the gut, but her hand went right through him. She looked at the strike in horror, but suddenly felt a hand swatting against the side of her head. In a moan, she fell to the ground, and tried to make herself get back up. She finally managed that, and stood with her hands ready to defend herself. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness washed over her.

She felt herself growing tired and wheezy. She tried to remain standing up, but her knees finally gave as she felt herself slipping from consciousness. Her eyelids grew 100 lbs heavier, but she kept them open as she looked towards her attacker, who was now towering over her.

She felt that same soaked rag cover her nose and mouth. She realized that she was inhaling chloroform, and while she knew she had to stop breathing it in, there was no willpower left to fight. Utter exhaustion overpowered her and she knew there was nothing she could do to slow the process of finally going under. Her eyes began to blink more and more slowly, and she saw her attacker pull a gigantic bazooka out of that cape. Her heart began to rapidly beat in panic mode, but that was her only physical reaction. She couldn't do anything with the little strength she had left. She closed her eyes, and waited for the end to come, but when she heard the shot, she realized she didn't feel anything.

She opened her eyes slowly, and saw a spinning green pool in midair. It looked like a vertical whirlpool that spun neon green mixed with a darker green. It was slow whirl, but as Kim stared at it, she felt her mind go dark. The drug had finally overpowered her conscious, and the last thing she felt was a tugging at her waist, and being hurled into the air.

She didn't know it in her diminishing conscious, but she had just seamlessly crossed into the Ghost Zone.

"So Kim Possible," Sam confirmed, and turned towards Tucker.

"Where do we even begin?" Tucker asked, exasperated. There would probably be a million more results for her name.

"Okay, Tuck, take a breather. Let's just begin with a nice, regular google search," Sam calmed. Tucker nodded in agreement, and watched Sam's delicate fingers dance along the noisy keys.

After 12 loud punches, the internet began to spin and think and discover endless results for those two names. Finally a page full of internet results came up, so, naturally, Sam and Tucker went to the first one.

"kimpossible.com?" Sam read aloud as she squinted to read the tiny letters. "Seems sufficient," was all she said before violently clicking the left button on the corded mouse, and waiting for that webpage to load. A teal circle spun around a few times before the entire screen went black. Sam, getting frustrated, reached for the mouse, but as soon as her fingers made contact with the cord, a small teal box appeared in the middle of the screen then expanded to cover all the black. This weird color change was followed by 4 high, techno beeps.

"Beep, beep, be- beep."

An image of the alleged 'Kim Possible' danced across the screen in elegant and intricate flips, and then spun around with her hands in ready position. Meanwhile, a female voice sung, hitting crazy octaves.

"I'm your basic…" The screen moved to another shot of 'Kim' at the front of a cheerleading position; all the girls doing the same cheer, which was to spin around and then slide in a way. Even though they were all identical, no other girl looked as good as the ginger in the purple skirt and yellow pompoms.

"…average girl." Another video came after that, this one of the ginger girl smiling prettily to the left, and flipping her hair in a girly manner.

"And I'm here to save the world." 'Kim' was now launching off the ground with a jet pack and helmet, then flying across the side of building to catch a falling figure.

"You can't stop me 'cause–" Kim seemed to be surrounded by oddly built female robots, but the screen switched again before Sam and Tucker could see if she made it out of there.

"I'm Kim Pos-si-ble." On these lyrics, the camera panned close into her face, which looked determined, angry, and–familiar…? They couldn't think much on it again because now they watched as a geeky blonde boy pushed her out of his way, and took her place at the front of the cheerleaders.

"There is nothing." The girl was climbing up a building.

"I can't do." And that same blonde kid had just gotten his pants ripped off by some kind of device he was holding.

"When danger calls." The video switched to a disgusting, naked creature with squinty little eyes, and Tucker looked away in horror while Sam smiled, thinking that was the coolest guy ever.

"Just know that" and the alleged 'Kim' was back on screen, doing a graceful blackflip off the side of a plane, whilst wearing a helmet and unopened parachute.

"I am on my way." Kim was racing through the halls of a high school before the camera again moved to her racing through another building with that same blonde boy.

"Doesn't matter when or where," Kim and the other boy were racing across the screen before some guy in a black ghi signaled to the left and monkeys followed him.

"There's trouble." The geeky boy screamed.

"If you just." A blue guy in a blue doctor suit, and black hair tied back in a ponytail laughed – cackled rather – presumably at the girl and her friend.

"Call my name." A gigantic woman clad in a green and black jumpsuit with black hair that seemed to glow green along with her pale skin, which seemed to have a green aura to it swatted at the flying 'Kim'.

"Kim Possible." And the a large boulder moved away from the camera to reveal the same ginger girl standing broadly with her fists clenched and looking down, again determined.

The videos continued like that, and Sam and Tucker only picked out the ones that were eye-catching. For example, she was doing intricate tumbles and flips facing the camera, and being followed by that girl clad in green and black.

Then there was another video of 'Kim' dodging underneath a collapsing building, and saving the blonde boy from being crushed.

The last of these videos that made Sam think this girl was really incredible was when she rode a ski shift off a snowy cliff, and flipped it around to get out of it before it exploded.

At the end of the video, the girl Kim was flying through the air, suspended by a grappling hook gun. The video shifted to a head shot, where she said into a handheld: "So what's the sitch?"

"Call me beep me if you wanna reach me."

The screen went to a logo reading "Kim Possible" in green letters, then clicked away like an old TV being turned off, and revealed a regular webpage. Sam and Tucker only stared at the screen, then at each other.

"Well that was…" Tucker struggled to find words. He was speechless. If this was the girl they were looking for, she seemed… almost familiar. Only that was a crazy idea. He would've remembered seeing someone with that hot bod.

"This might seem crazy, but…" Sam tried to formulate her thoughts correctly. "Did this 'Kim Possible' girl seem… I don't know… familiar?"

"YES! I was thinking I was insane! Do you think we could've seen her around, and not even realize we were looking into the face of pure evil!" Tucker, said sounding relieved at first, but then like he was living a conspiracy.

Tucker didn't notice it, but Sam hadn't heard a word of what he said, she was staring at the web page with serious focus. He rambled on a little more, but finally he realized she wasn't listening. His first thought was to be offended, "Have you heard a word I've said?" he asked accusingly. She didn't respond. In fact, she didn't show any sign she'd even heard him.

Tucker realized then that she wasn't paying attention because she'd found something at this website. "What are you looking at?"

Still no response. At least not one directed at Tucker. She muttered something inaudible, and all Tucker could do was want to gorge his eyes out.

"SAM!"

"What!" Sam finally spoke up, stunned, like she'd just come out of a trance. Which, she sorta had.

"What are you looking at?" Tucker repeated.

Sam stared back at the webpage. "I don't think this girl is an enemy…"

"Come again?" Tucker asked, doubtingly. She had tried to kill their best friend.

"We already agreed that someone is controlling her, right? That she isn't behind this whole thing by herself?"

"Uh, yes," Tucker agreed, unsure where this was going.

"Well I don't think she understands what it is that Vlad and whoever else is making her do," Sam told him, wide-eyed.

"I'm still confused…" Tucker admitted, so she continued.

"Her whole song was about how she's 'here to save the world' and this short bio tells you to contact her if you need any help. She doesn't realize that Danny is on her side," Sam shouted.

"So what are you saying? That she's not actually dangerous?" Tucker asked.

Sam shook her head. "No not at all. Did you watch that video? She's sick! What with the back flips, and shit. So don't get me wrong: she is dangerous. BUT, she wouldn't be if she knew we weren't the enemy."

"Where are you going with this…?" Tucker questioned.

"If we can convince her that we're not the enemy, she could turn those sick fighting skills to help us," Sam hypothesized.

"So now we just have to find her," Tucker reminded her.

"Yea…" Sam agreed, though she seemed sidetracted.

"Wait a sec…" Tucker suddenly noticed something he hadn't before.

"Imagine Kim Possible in a ponytail –"

"And put some glasses on her…" Sam continued, catching on.

"She's taking care of her aunt here in Amity Park…"

"She said she was from Colorado…"

The realization struck both Sam and Tucker at once. It felt like a wave had crashed onto their surface and had knocked them down.

"Kim Possible is –" Tucker began.

"Kimberly Wate…" Sam finished in awe.

"Danny's with her right now," Tucker's eyes were full or worry, and Sam immediately reached for her phone. She had to get to warn Danny…

Before it was too late.

Danny was flying towards the mall. He wanted to make sure that Kim wasn't the one waiting on him to get there, which meant he had to get there first. His fists were extended out in front of him for extra momentum, and he was flying as fast as he had ever flown.

Key word: was.

He abruptly stopped midflight, and came to an easy halt as a breath of icy fog escaped past his lips. He groaned, not now.

He followed his ghostly instinct, and raced to the right.

Please let it be Box Ghost. Please let it be Box Ghost. He pleaded over and over, hoping his wishes would somehow come true.

"Daniel, at some point you'll have to learn to stop listening to your gut, and start listening to your head," the suave voice carried through the twilight air.

Plasmius.

Danny narrowed his eyes at the thought. He turned around dramatically, and flew to meet his hovering figure, "What do you want, Plasmius?" He did not have time to pick a fight. This needed to be concise and to the point.

"Well I don't want anything. It's you who I believe wants something. Just where are you headed to on this clear night?"

Danny rolled his eyes, "That's none of your business."

"Would it possible be to meet a peppy Kimberly Wate?" Vlad guessed, overly innocent.

Danny let his determined face slip for a moment as he dropped his jaw in surprise. His mouth wasn't open for longer than a singly second, but that was enough time for Vlad to see his surprise and grin mischievously.

"Ah, I see. It was wasn't it?" Vlad teased.

Danny tensed, and repeated his initially words, this time with a little more force. "What do you want, Plasmius?" he demanded through gritted teeth.

Vlad shrugged, nonchalantly. "If you want any answers, Daniel, you'll first have to learn to control your temper."

Danny didn't hesitate. As Vlad blindly scolded him through closed eyes, Danny sent a blow at him that sent him flying back. When Vlad got a hold of himself, and stopped spinning, he angrily glared up at Danny, then calmed his expression once again.

"Oh, I'm not here to fight Daniel," Vlad said as he brushed himself off. "I believe you have more important matters to attend to."

"Yeah? And what's that?" Danny demanded once again

Vlad's response was to smirk, and pull out a glowing green mirror with a silver hilt. "See for yourself," he said as he tossed it to Danny.

Danny caught it with ease – he was in his ghost form after all – and looked into it. The mirror seemed to have eyes into the Ghost Zone; or at least that's what Danny assumed as he stared into the green depths.

"What am I supposed to be looking for?" Danny demanded impatiently.

Vlad's smile grew more mischievous, if that was possible, and he told him calmly, "Just keep looking."

Suddenly some green clouds began to spread away, and it left Danny with a girl in the middle of the green fog. He squinted as he tried to make out the figure. She looked… familiar. But that was when it hit him.

Her large doe eyes were closed, and she had glowing green binds at her mouth and wrists; the ones at her wrists were then connected to chains which were stuck to something below the mist, but the mist was very thick. He couldn't even see her feet; her usually pulled back red locks were static-y and scattered around her head like she was floating in water. Danny noticed she was breathing, thankfully, and with every inhale, she rose two inches off of the place her binds were connected to, and then descended back down on every exhale. He touched the mirror – as if that would solve anything – and whispered to himself. "Kim."

He felt threatening tears prickle the back of his eyes, which he turned to anger. Towards Vlad. Before Plasmius had a second thought, Danny gripped his shirt collar, and had him up in the air. His anger and adrenaline gave him more and more strength as he gripped tighter around Vlad's puny neck.

Vlad wasn't in a panic. He was impartial to the grip, and Danny finally realized why when he went intangible within seconds of his grasp, and reappeared behind him. "Really, Daniel, you should always keep in mind who has the leverage in the fight. Without me, you can't find your precious girlfriend."

His words stung, and he could feel those tears again. Instead of arguing, he took Vlad's first words of the night into consideration: stop listening to your gut, and start listening to your head.

His gut told him to continue fighting with Vlad until he started talking; but his mind was whispering something else to him.

He felt his phone vibrate inside his spandex, but he didn't have time to consider who was calling him. The only person who mattered to him at the moment was someone he could clearly see wasn't conscious enough to use a phone.

Clearly see…

The mirror was still in his hand, and he stared deeply into it. Kim: his precious Kim who he had grown so close with these past few months. She didn't deserve this. She didn't deserve any of this. She was an innocent bystander who Vlad had manipulated, and somehow trapped into the endless dimension.

An idea flickered in the back of his mind. The gears began to grind, and Danny held his free hand up to his face. With control, he turned just his wrist down to his fingertips intangible, and stuck it through the mirror. As Danny had hoped, his hand didn't appear on the other side. He hadn't gone through the glass; he'd gone into the mirror.

Without wasting another moment, he turned his entire body intangible, and slipped through the mirror, which now lay on the ground. He had to get to Kim before any other ghost in the dangerous Zone.

If he didn't… Danny would never forgive himself for putting innocent Kim in danger.
