"NEW ORDER"
"SALVATORE"
Salvatore
I am Salvatore, which means 'savior'. I am the head of the Half Lights Sorcerers or also known as good and dead sorcerers. I was the one who called him here from the Hospital. What was the reason I called him in?
He is the awaited Destiny for the coming future.
"What do you want from me?" Byron asks. "And why did you take my powers away from me? Did I do something in the past?"
No answers to his question. My fellow Half Lights all look at each other side by side except me; I'm looking sternly at him. One of the Half-Lights comes to me and whispers."Salvatore, Is he the one?"
"Yes. He is the one we've been waiting for."
"And if he isn't? Prove to us that you are right."
I raise my staff in the air. A strong wind current comes swirling around him and into him. It goes upward in his clothes and carries his 'S' necklace out of his clothes. He shouts "Hey! How did you know I have my parent's heirloom around my neck! I never told anyone about it, not even you!"
We never mind on what He is saying; they all focus on his necklace, they gasp and at the same time, they are all surprised with eyes widen and mouths open.
"Impossible!" doubts another Half Light, Darold. "He could have received or stole that necklace from the real owner!"
I point my staff to his 'S' pendant. "Isn't not shining?" I defend. "Remember, the pendant will not shine if he's owner has not worn his pendant, but if you see right now, it's shining."
"But still, he's an enemy. A murderer" Darold then suspiciously looks at Byron; as if he wants to kill him.
"Don't be angry at the boy." I explain "He didn't mean it, Darold. If a good boy is born in an evil environment, he would likely grow up to become evil. Another, he was commanded by a superior to do his duty as an officer of the New Order."
My explanation dumbfounds Darold. I look to him again and I decided greet him "My name is Salvatore, leader of the Half Lights Sorcerers here in Shadowland."
"Shadowland?" he repeats with a question mark.
"Shadowland is the afterlife world. In this world there are two kinds of souls, Half Lights, the good spirits and Lost Ones, the evil spirits."
I continue to explain "Half Lights, like us, shines light on every part of our body. We are also guardians of the living. Those who died good on Earth, becomes one of the Half Lights. Lost Ones are more alike zombies of the living. They eat living humans for their food and drink blood for their thirst. Those who died evil on Earth, becomes one of the Lost Ones."
"Why am I here in the first place?" he asks.
One of the Half Light, Jon, comes forward "It's because you are the Awai-"
I interrupt him by moving beyond him. "It's because you held Whit and Wisty Allgood in prison."
Jon will explain that Byron is the Awaited Destiny and I don't want Byron to confuse himself which such things yet; it's not the time for him to understand.
"Yes, because they are a threat to the New Order!" Byron justifies.
"You believe that the New Order can provide the City a better future than before, hmph!' I cross my arms. "I doubt that."
"What did you say?! Take back what you said!" red anger rages in him.
"You see what The One Who is the One doing to the City? He captured tortured and murdered innocent magicians! He stole the powers of great magicians for his own benefit and he even eliminated all the remaining sorcerers in the world." I stop for a while to gather my thoughts and continue "especially your father, Alphateo and your mother, Eugenia."
Byron gasps for a sudden. I notice that flashbacks start to run on his memory; the time his parents were dead on the floor. His tears begin to flow through his cheeks. "No! You're lying! It wasn't them!"
"Why do you still keep on falling on that lie? Your parents were killed by The One himself because they too were magicians!"
"Not true!" Byron yells and cries in disbelief as dark energy explodes out of his body. His dark energy impacts and sends the Half Lights backward, except for me because my feet are glue to the ground.
Byron runs to me "Yaaaaah!" he prepares a hard fist that is ready to punch me. Just as he throws the punch at me, I dodge it quickly. I poke my staff on his stomach and he yelps in pain. Then the magic comes running down to the tip of the staff. Byron receives the magic and he turns back to a weasel.
I bend down to the weasel, "Why, hello Byron!" I tease "You look different since the last time I saw you, which was a few seconds ago."
The weasel makes bad impressions and gestures at me, but I don't mind it. He then looks in another direction and crosses his arms.
I speak to him "I will turn you back into human form if you promise me to do something for me." but he doesn't reply but I know that he's listening. "Every morning between 1 am to 5 am, you will turn yourself into human, but after 5am, you will return back to a weasel again. Do not tell nor show anyone about this, because they must know that you are only a human and not an extraordinary magician. The reason I am doing this is because I have mission for you to do and as I promise earlier, I will return you back into human permanently."
"Then what is it?" Byron squeaks.
Okay, I never saw that one coming." A talking weasel! I don't even know that's possible!"
I shake my head off and return my mind back on the conversation "Your job is to retrieve the Omni-Orb and give it to The One."
