A/N: So this is gonna be the last chapter I post of this story. I might make a part 2 some time but if not, i am working on a klaroline story that features a tiny but of Lia as we speak so fingers crossed! Thanks so much for everybody who has read, reviewed, favorited, and or followed this story you guys are amazing and I love you all!

"Which should I bring?" I asked. I held up two shirts, displaying each across my chest. The first was a red cropped tank top with flowers across the top. The second was a flowing purple over the shoulder top. Davina criticized both a look of concentration on her face.

"Red." She said finally. "We are going to Italy after all." I nodded and placed it neatly in my suitcase along with all of my other clothes. In just two short hours I would be heading to Venice.

I sighed and sat down on my bed. I didn't want to leave Mystic Falls, much less to go halfway around the world. Knowing that it could be a year or more until I saw my parents made me very uncomfortable. I may be fourteen, but I was still terrified of the world.

"Knock, knock." A voice says opening the door. I looked up from hands and smiled tentatively at Trammel. He didn't seem upset with me anymore which elated me. I couldn't stand him upset, especially now that he was an entire year with me in Venice.

"Hey stranger." Davina said easily, winking at him. Trammel nodded in acknowledgement looking as uncomfortable as I felt.

"Klaus wants you to see him." He said. She nodded and left the room quickly. I stood and brushed my hands off against my jeans before resuming packing. "Well this is awkward." He said.

"Why did you kiss her?" I asked bluntly.

"And know it's even more awkward." He said, running his hands through his hair. I noticed he didn't actually answer my question. "Lia…"

"Trammel, look, I know that we've been friends forever and I don't want to jeopardize that, but even the thought of her kissing you makes me sick and I-" I was promptly cut off when he closed the distance between us and kissed me. And I don't mean he pecked me on the lips, no, he kissed me. I gasped into his mouth which he quickly took advantage of. I latched my arms around his neck and felt him grab my waist.

"Klaus didn't need me…oh." Trammel jumped back like he'd been burned and immediately shot me an apologetic look. I smiled back tentatively. Davina smirked like she knew something.

"We'll talk later?" Tram asked looking at me carefully. I smiled wide.

"Of course." He nodded and pecked me on the lips before exiting.

"Spill." Davina said reaching to grab my hands.

Rebekah's POV

"So to summarize Rebekah, Klaus, Stefan, the witches, and Lia are going to drive to Tennessee where Rebekah and the kids will get on a plane to Guatemala then a boat to Africa and another plane to Venice." Kol said, eyebrows raised. "Doesn't that seem like a bit much?"

"It's a precaution." Elijah answered easily. "We don't know who could be trailing them." Caroline made a quick glance at Stefan who nodded.

"Why isn't Caroline going?" I asked.

"I need to stay and make sure Tyler doesn't leave and Hayley doesn't try to follow. She's probably no that stupid but…" Caroline answered trailing off. The gleam in her eyes said she hoped she had the chance to tear into Hayley.

"And what will the rest of you be doing while we're in Venice?" I asked.

Klaus answered that. "Elijah will be covering your tracks while Kol and I hunt for more information. Bonnie is going to look for ways to reverse the hex and the Salvatore plus one will be doing god knows what, but hopefully stay out the way."

"So this is really happening." I said.

"Yes it is. And I hate to add to it but there has to be minimal contact between us. Lia is only allowed to talk to Matt or Jeremy because they're not associated with this family." Caroline added looking guilty. Klaus smiled like he did every time she talked about the Mikaelsons as her family.

"If we all know our roles we need to be in Tennessee in 9 hours and it's an 8 hour drive easy." Stefan said looking at his watch. We all moved.

Caroline's POV

I walked to Lia's room quickly knowing I wouldn't get another chance to say goodbye to her. I knocked on her door in three quick reps.

"Come in!" she yelled even though she knew anyone in this house could've heard her if she whispered. I rolled my eyes and walked in. She looked up a huge smile on her face that fell slightly when she recognized me.

"Sorry to disappoint." I said smiling. "I just wanted to say goodbye before you left." She smiled at me and rushed to me. I opened my arms and embraced her tightly. She sobbed against my shoulder.

"I don't want to leave Mommy." She said voice cracking. I just hugged her tighter.

"I know baby, but you have to let us protect you."

"I can protect myself." She sniffled. I sighed and rubbed circles into her back instead of answering.

"You're going to be fine. Chances are your father will find and eliminate the treat and you can be back here in less than a month."

"Fine." She said pulling back and smiling back at me. "So does this mean I finally get a credit card."
