"FIGHT THE DARK LION"

Aunt Veronica, aka, my ex-mom, points her sword at me and runs forward, "YAAAAAAAHHHH!"

I block her sword just in time before she thrusts it into my chest. "You fooled me…."

She didn't reply but she continues slashing and thrusting her sword. She puts all of her energy on her sword, which made her even stronger. I keep on dodging and doing stunt jumps in the air and blocking her attacks and offenses.

I can feel the vibration of the sword as the sword bangs onto my staff. Every time she does that, its getting stronger and stronger. It makes me want to let go my staff actually.

We both come to a stop as I block my staff from her overhead slash attack, "You should have killed me when you had the chance"

This time, she replies "Because all we wanted is not an ordinary son and daughter!"

I use my staff to push her backwards. I form an energetic ball on my other hand and throw it to her, but she misses it. I throw her another but she dodges too quickly "She's too quick-"

In such speed, she almost thrust her blade into me, but she quickly punches me in the face instead. I fly backwards and smash unto the walls of the castle, creating a crater. I quickly get up and rub at the back of my head, "Oww! That's gotta hurt!"

"Byron, listen to me." She says politely in such way. "Be with me. Together with The One, we can rule the entire world, or the entire universe. Join me, my son."

What she requests is quite convincing actually. Imagine your life, ruling over an entire population and they will obey every command that you make. I really wanted to have power and everything.

But it only proves that I'm insane and hunger for power.

I wipe blood on my mouth using my wrist and reply. "One, why should I be with you if you killed my parents?" Black aura starts to laminate around me. "And second. I'm. Not. Your. SON!"

I stand up and speed my feet against her. I try to plunge the blade of my staff into her, but she quickly kicks me with incredible power. I fly backwards once more on the rocks.

"Still not giving up?" she chuckles.

"Not today!" I back and for my hands speedily in the air and shoot a thousand energy balls at her. She manages to dodge and miss those shots, but not all of them. I blast a two to three shots at her. "Not time to celebrate with that accomplishment."

I whirl around with my left hand stretching out as I create a huge dark energy water ball. I keep on whirling faster and faster as the ball gets bigger and bigger. The energy ball flips out from my hand and aims at my opponent. Then, she uses her sword to cut the energy ball in half. I jump into the air, after a second she finishes cutting off my energy ball. I quickly kick her face off and she's the now flying backwards. She's very busy in cutting the energy ball in half and not paying attention where her enemy is at now.

Her body thrusts into the ground creating a big crater. Out of nowhere, she appears before me and slashes her sword at me, well almost. She creates a cut on the skin of my chest. "Sayonara." She kicks and punches me to the ground and I landed pretty badly on the ground. Ashes starts to form in the air, non-stopping.

"That's unfair!" I say to myself. "I saw it myself; she was knocked down to the ground. She's so fast and I can't catch up with her speed. I should've stabbed her when I had the chance."

"R-reach my hand, B-Byron..." The Lightning Wizard says. He is actually near me, so I stretch out and grab his hand.

"Remember what I've—" he coughs two times. "-t-told you about sharing m-magic?"

"Yes."I nod but I realize the meaning of what he's trying to say, "You mean-"

"I see," Darkus Leone says as she floats in the air "last minute goodbye? How sweet!"

We ignore her and focus on both on our magic. He shares magic into me. He quickly aims his arm in the air and blasted an amount of lightning shock at her. She squeals as the lightning blast and ignites her body, electrifying her. After it, she falls and crashes down to the ground.

"Your magic came back!" I exclaim.

"Yes," he sits up straight, "not only I share m-magic to you, b-but you also share magic to m-me" He coughs three more times "because you are now a w-wizard." He points his finger on my staff. "Look, it's now appearing." The letter 'W' appears on the staff beside the letter 'N'. "Not only my M came b-back, but I gave y-you a-additional powers as w-well."

He says once more. "Take her down."

I nod at him as a sign of gratitude "Thanks." I let go off his hand and stand up. Veronica also stands from the fall.

"Well, well, well," she says as she readies her sword, "think you can take me down? Not on my watch!" She runs swiftly at me. I defend and block out her defense by blocking my staff from her offense. "Surrender Salvatore and give your life to The One! Or die trying!"

Anger and hatred comes into me. Lightning strikes from above and ignites the both of us. Darkus Leone yells in pain and explodes on front of me and flies backward. "Where does that come from?" I ask myself and look back at the wizard. He shakes his head off; a sign that he didn't shoot that lightning.

That lightning came from my very powers.

I try to create electric shocks on my palm and electric shocks appear on my palm. "I'm a wizard now!"

"Impossible!" she says as she seems surprised as she sees my new powers. She appears again like what she did a while ago, but her speed can't match my magic. She almost stabs her sword at me but I quickly wave my staff and pull off a dark exploding energy on it. It explodes and the Leone once more, flies backward.

"And I'm still a necromancer too!" I say to myself shockingly "Now I'm a half necromancer and half wizard!"

"No!" she doubts and her face crumbles into fear "It can't be! I thought The One Who is The One can master all five realms in the entire world!" Her face turns into a smirk "But I can defeat you, Since I have the Sword of Darkness in my hand! Nothing can stop me." She charges at me again full of energy. Violet aura booms into her from the sky.

"Not on my watch!" I also charge at her using my staff. We both duel as my staff strikes her sword. We keep on attacking and defending as our weapons strikes and defend.

As we come to a climax that I block out her offense and we pause for an intense moment. I quickly push her and she lost her foot balance. Opportunity takes place for my chance to strike. I circle my staff and point it at the Leone and blast a shot of lightning and perfectly shot The Leone, badly hurt and weaken

"This is for my dad!"I pull of my dark energy at the sword of my staff, destroy her armor across and fall off her from her body.

"This is for my mom!" Electric shocks encircle my staff, I make a cut at her hand and she drops her sword to the ground.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" A pillar of dark aura and lightning booms from the sky and enclose around me, my power becomes stronger because of my anger and hatred. The pillar of dark aura forms into a massive energy ball and together with it, are a thousand electric shocks, "And this is what you make a fool out of me for years!"

Veronica tries to run away from me from fear, but I quickly manage to throw off my energy ball and aim it at my aunt. She exploded from the blast of dark energy and electrifying shocks. The trees are uprooted from the blast, the soil splits into many cracks and dust forms into a thick fog.

After the blast, I walk to the crater and I found what I mess I made. The crater is so huge and it's so unbelieving that I made it. I gaze the crater and I see my mom. All was left of her is a pile of ashes. Suddenly, the wind blows and carries her ashes into the sky.

"It's over." I say to myself.
