Anonymous: "Deeks, can you please please go to the store and uhh buy me some uhm...tampons?"
He's silent for a moment, and then- "Kensi."
"Yes?"
"Are you messing with me?" His face morphs into a smile, accompanied by nervous laughter. "You're messing with me, right?"
"No."
"Really?"
"Just… pleeeease? It's not that big of a deal."
"Why can't you go?"
Kensi sinks further down into the couch and grimaces. "Why do you think? I'm dying over here!"
"It can't be that bad. Doesn't this happen every month?"
She narrows her eyes. "Yes it does. And it's very, very bad."
"That's stupid. Why do you even have to go through it, anyways?"
Kensi finds herself growing incredibly alarmed by his ignorance towards the situation. "Did you pay attention at all during health class?"
He shrugs. "Not really."
Kensi shakes her head while muttering, "I'm gonna have kids with this man someday," under her breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
Deeks rolls his eyes. "Look… I'd don't even know what to get."
"I'll tell you what to get."
Deeks comes damn close to stomping his foot. "Kensiiiiiii-"
"Please, Deeks?"
He's a sucker for those puppy dog eyes, every damn time. "Alright, alright. I'll go. Tell me all about the humiliation I'm about to endure."
She smiles. "Just go to the feminine hygiene aisle-"
"This is already getting interesting."
"-and look for box. It'll say 'tampons' on it. I don't care what brand. Just buy 'em and go."
"Are you patronizing me, Blye?"
"No, just instructing."
"Those are some pretty vague instructions."
She chuckles. "I'm trying to make this easy for you."
"Clearly. Anything else while I'm out?"
"Ice cream."
"That was a given." He walks towards her and drops a kiss to her head. "I've gotta keep you happy if I'm gonna father our children one day, huh?"
She swallows and he winks. Deeks then proceeds to walks out the front door, leaving a speechless, stunned and rather hormonal Kensi in his wake.
She was certain that she'd whispered that part.
Well, apparently not. And there's no going back now.
