Chapter Nine: Winters Clash (Part 2)

Yuki-Onna's blade hit into Jack's once again, they'd been duelling for at least an hour now, but neither seemed to be letting up, both were fighting with the same hatred as at the beginning of the battle. The Guardian's all watched with a sense of Wonder, why hadn't Jack fought like this when he'd attacked them? Now they watched the Winter Prince fight to the true extent of his powers they realised, he'd been fighting desperately, not like this, this was fierce, and this was deadly.

Jack swung an arm around, spikes of ice burst forth, Yuki-Onna leapt backwards frowning as she looked at the Winter Prince,

"You Just won't die will you?" Yuki-Onna asked, raising her sword to point at Jack rushing forward, slamming a sword across the ice spikes and shattered them, Jack raised his sword and blocked the attack, Jack then parried the attack forcing Yuki-Onna onto the back foot,

Jack flicked his blade around and knocked the blade out of Yuki-Onna's hand, with a low sweep, Yuki-Onna lay upon the floor, Jack's sword aimed at her heart,

"Do it! Maybe then can I continue the hunt for my brothers soul in the afterlife!" Yuki-Onna growled,

Something flashed in Jack's mind as he looked down at her, "What happened to your brother?" Jack hissed so no-one but Yuki-Onna would hear,

"He drowned, saving me" Yuki-Onna told him, "I doubt it matters to you"

Within a second Jack turned his back on Yuki-Onna, dropping it to the ground,

"MANNY!" Jack roared looking to the sky, "I SWEAR I WILL DESTROY YOU FOR THIS!"

Jack began to pulse a sort of Gold and dark blue colour, until he stood before all the spirit's, gone was his usual outfit, now Jack sported a deep blue jacket covering a suit of chainmail, dark blue trousers and a white gold crown upon his head,

Yuki-Onna looked upon him and frowned, she knew the legend, having read it in a book while training under Manny, that once a Elemental Sprit understood both sides of their season, both light and dark, could hope to take this forme, the form of the Elemental King or Queen of their season.

Jack looked over at Yuki-Onna again, "I have no wish to fight you, Manny has lied and used us both, but now, Yuki-Onna I offer you the chance of Revenge against that crater faced spirit"

Yuki-Onna frowned as she looked at Jack, "Why the change of heart?"

"I have seen from both sides now" Jack told her, "Now if you wish to survive, flee from here, and come back when you have an answer"

Yuki-Onna frowned, before looking around, she knew she could strike out against Jack with so many around her, the Guardian's, The Court of Nature and Pitch Black…. She turned and fled flying off to some pretty mountains she'd seen a few hundred miles away.

Jack looked over to Jamie smiling to him and Jamie looked up at Jack, something in his eyes Jack couldn't place before Jamie pulled Jack in for a hug, Jack bent down and hugged back, Jamie let go and looked over at the Guardian's and Pitch who walked over followed by three spirits Jack didn't know.

"I was so scared Jack" Jamie admitted to the Winter Spirit, Jack smiled sadly and ruffled Jamie's hair,

"I'll always protect you Jamie, you know that" Jack replied, and Jamie nodded happily before pulling Jack in for another hug.

Jack smiled and waited for Jamie to let go before turning to face the other spirits before him,

"That was impressive swordplay skills" Pitch smirked, "Like which I haven't seen in many years, who taught you?"

"I taught myself, when you have to defend yourself for 50 years, you learn a thing or two about handling swords" Jack shrugged watching the being of fear closely,

Jack looked around as Pitch walked off smirking to himself, he saw the Guardian's all frowning to him, and the three spirits he didn't know seemed to be walking forward, almost unsure of themselves,

Jack took a step towards them,

"Hi?" One of the women said, worriedly.

"Hi" Jack smiled, "Who are you?"

The mood seemed to lighten,

"I'm Reece Summers, Prince of Summer" Reece Smiled,

"I'm Dawn Springs, Princess of Spring" Dawn nodded,

"I'm Rose Falls, Princess of Autumn!" Rose smiled,

"So you three are the rulers of the other seasons?" Jack asked tilting his head slightly,

"Yep!" Reece smiled, the mood greatly lightened,

"So why are you here?" Jack asked,

"they are here, because I am here, my son… Manny can no longer keep us apart, and I request that you help me make him pay!" A New voice asked, Jack turned to face a women dressed in a flowing green dress, flowers blooming all over, her hair tied up into a bun, "My name is Natura, though many know me as Mother Nature, Queen of the Seasons"

Jack blinked several times, before noticing Jamie hiding behind him, not having a good experiences with Spirits,

"Not to fear child, we shall not harm you, Manny on the other hand, might" The thought came to Nautra, "We must leave Burgess for somewhere safer, either Winterhold or the Tree of Life, those are the two safest places for young Jamie at the moment, bring his family with him"

"But…" Jack began,

"I'm afraid we don't have time now, Manny could have an army on the way here as we speak" North walked over, picking Jamie up and Jack turned to scowl at the Guardian,

"Relax, their on ourside" Natura told Jack who nodded, watching the large Guardian,

"I'll carry him if you don't mind" Jack muttered to North who shrugged passing the young child to Jack and Jamie instantly relaxed, Jack flew over to Joyce and Sophie,

"Its not safe here for you anymore, you need to come to Winterhold" Jack told her,

"Whats Winterhold?" Joyce asked,

"The Palace of Winter, and where Jack's throne awaits him" Reece told her, then he turned to Natura,

"Did you just gift them the sight?" Reece asked,

A Small smirk came to Natura's face, "Maybe"

The three Bennetts walked forward, and into a Portal North summoned, and when they arrived, they gasped at what they saw..

In all the world, there are thousands of spirit's, but only Seven are known as Titans: Manny, Natura, Galactica, Father Time, Grim, Aquaticus and Old Man Winter, but when Jamie Bennett is chosen as a new titan, all hell is sure to break out, but the only problem is, that he is under the guardianship of the Guardian's, North, Tooth, Sandy, Pitch, Bunny and Cupid. And they have to wait until Jamie comes of age to make him a spirit, but where is Jack in all this? And why don't the Guardian's remember the spirit?
