I'm sorry it took so long to get this out, I was miserable and sleeping most of the week. No more waiting that long. Enjoy loves! -Lanie x
"Then explain to me why you haven't had me meet Gemma or any of the club besides for that matter. Besides Piney." Tara said in frustration.
"You met Chibs that one time." He tried to defend himself.
Neither of them even realized how they got to this point in their conversation. They had spent the day, laying around her house until he got called down to Teller and Morrow to help to start training. It was supposed to be a good day for them.
"That was because he was at Opie's not because you wanted me to meet him." She groaned and plopped down on her bed.
"I thought we went through all this shit last week Tara. What the hell happened?"
Tara laid back and covered her face with the pillow and mumbled her reply. He leaned over her and removed the pillow and brushed her hair back.
"I can't hear you like that babe." He smiled down at her.
"Are you ashamed that I don't fit in with the SAMCRO lifestyle...?"
"If I was do think we'd still be together right now? Shit Tara in a week we'll have been together for a month." Jax sighed and ran his hands through his shaggy hair.
Tara frowned at his response. She knew that in the past two months that they've been hanging out that he hasn't once given her a good reason to feel like this but she doesn't understand why he won't take her to meet everyone.
"I've met Gemma…" She admitted to him as she closed her eyes tightly.
"And I told her that I didn't want to talk to her because you'd introduce us when you were ready."
Jax gently stroked her cheek in attempt to get her to open her eyes and once he did a smile appeared.
"When I'm ready…I'll bring you over baby. I'm just worried that you won't be able to handle some of what she throws your way."
Tara pouted at his reply, the last she remembered he liked her because she knew how to take care of herself.
He laughed and kissed her until she stopped pouting.
"It's just because you've struggled hearing shit at school. I don't want Gemma putting doubts in your head. Especially because she'll tell you stuff that will hit harder."
"Promise that it's nothing worse?" She asked him softly.
"It's not. I like this beautiful brunette with warm brown eyes more than I like most things in this life." He smiled down at her.
Tara felt her eyes well up with tears and she sniffled a little.
"You really aren't who I thought you were. You're so much more. So much better than I ever thought." She told him.
"I'm going to kiss you now and make all of those tears go away."
He leaned down and softly kissed her with his hand he cupped her face and brushed her tears away with this thumb.
"My beautiful girl." He mumbled against her lips.
…
Awhile later the two teens started to talk about how Tara didn't really see how things changed much since they started dating three weeks ago. It seemed that it was just how it was before and of course Jax had to disagree with her.
"Things aren't different at all." She told him shaking her head.
"Yes they are I can call you my girlfriend." Jax informed her, not ready to lose this battle.
"You called me your girl to Opie anyways." She countered back, with a soft giggle as she continued to look through her bookshelf.
"So should we go back to being unofficial then?" He raised his eyebrow as he watched her with confusion.
"You do that and I go to David Hale." Tara turned to glare at him before turning her back.
"He's always too friendly with you." Jax said as he leaned up on his elbows on her bed.
"David is nothing but a friend to me, no need to get jealous." She told him.
"He'd better back off my girl." He chuckled as he walked up behind her and held onto her hips. "What are you doing over here anyways?"
Tara leaned back against him and scanned the shelf. "I was looking for one of my books but it's missing. I must have let Anna borrow it or something." She shrugged and turned around in his arms, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I think you'd better pay attention to me, baby." Jax smirked.
"Yeah? What are you planning on doing?" She asked as she pulled him closer to her.
"Hmm." He leaned down to kiss her softly. "That maybe." He mumbled against her lips and moved down to her jaw as he kissed up to her ear. "And that." His hand pushed her shirt up as he moved his hand up her side. Jax kissed down her throat, sucking and nipping as he went.
Her hands tighten their grip around his neck as she moved her neck to the side and bit her tongue to hide the noises that were forming. Sliding her hands up, she tangled her hands in his hair and tugged. In response he bunched her shirt in his hands and smashed his lips against hers.
Tara kissed him with the same frenzy for a few minutes before she pulled away and rested her forehead against his. "We should probably stop.."
Jax nodded his head in agreement. "We should." He smirked at her and brushed his lips against hers softly. "We aren't though are we?"
With that said, Tara moved her lips back to his as he led her to the bed. He pushed her lightly and took in the sight of Tara, flushed cheeks and panting lying on her bed. Jax moved to hover over her and smiled down at her before kissing her gently. He opened his eyes as he kissed her more deliberately but made sure that it was as loving as possible.
Tara moaned into the kiss and Jax took that chance to slide his tongue inside her mouth. His tongue explored her mouth until she felt him tug up on his shirt. He took that as a sign and pulled it over his head. She took in the sight of his stomach and ran her hands over his abs and smiled up at him.
"Like what you see darlin'?" He asked, smugly.
"Just get back here." She wrapped her arm around his waist and pulled him back down to her.
Without knocking her Dad walked into her room and cleared his throat once he saw what was happening.
Tara pushed Jax off of her and blushed with embarrassment as she looked over at her dad.
"I think it's about time we had the sex talk." He finally broke the silence in the room.
"I...I can't get out of this can I?" She asked him.
"No, no excuse is going to work this time. Jax it's time for you to leave. Say your goodbyes, I need to get a few shots in." He rolled his eyes and closed the door.
Tara hid her face in her hands and groaned.
"That's never happened to me before." He told her and laughed.
"Kidnap me please?" She looked up at him with pleading eyes.
"Nah, you have fun with your dad babe."
He threw his shirt back on and kissed her once more. After that she stood up and straightened her shirt. She really just wanted to fall back into her bed and bury herself under her covers and never show her face again. Out of all the things that she didn't want to happen that was very high on the list.
"I'll walk you out, asshole." She glared at him.
"Don't get mad at me. You could have stopped." He raised his eyebrow and looked at her sheepishly.
"You're the one that started it." Tara sighed and reached for his hand.
"And you could have stopped it." Jax grabbed her hand and held it tightly in his and started to walk out of the room. "So after he gives you the sex talk, we on for tonight?" He winked at her.
She swung the hand that was holding his and hit his stomach as they got to the door. Though she could tell by his reaction that he was enjoying teasing her, he was in an extremely playful mood today. She loved when he was like this. It was like the biker in him didn't exist.
"Only in your dreams Teller." She whispered.
"Looks we're both getting educated today."
"I guess so. Now go learn to fix an engine or something."
"You know nothing about cars or bikes do you?"
Tara snorted and shook her head. "I'll leave that all to you…"
"That sounds like a plan."
"Do you think if we talk long enough that he'll get drunk and forget?"
"I hope that works for you. Gemma giving me the sex talk was god awful." He squeezed her hand once more before letting it fall to her side. "I really do have to get goin' though." Jax smiled at her.
"Go be a total badass at work." She leaned up and kissed his cheek.
"Is that all I get? I think I deserve more than that." Jax asked with a smirk toying on his lips.
"Didn't you get more earlier?" She shook her head.
Tara giggled as he grabbed her and pulled her to him. As much as she struggled to get away he only tightened his hold on her and laughed as he placed kisses along her neck. She finally gave up and held under his chin and forced him to look at her. She bit her lip and he leaned in and moved his lips against hers softly. Tara pulled away and rested her forehead against his and looked in his eyes before she pushed away from him.
"Go. I have the most embarrassing conversation to endure." She shrugged and opened the door.
"I'll call you tonight baby." He told her before heading over to his bike.
Once Jax was long out of sight she walked back inside. She let out a shaky breath as she locked the door before turning to walk into the living room, where her dad was holding a bottle of whiskey. Tara took her place at the oversized chair and sat down with her legs under her.
"Is there any chance you'll let me have some of that before we have this talk?" She asked him with a small voice. Her dad often scared her.
"No, you need to be sober for this." He gave her a sly smile.
She looked down at the coffee table and then up at him with wide eyes. "No... You're not about to give a demonstration with a banana Dad!"
"We both know that Jax is definitely experienced and you know I won't even try to talk you out of having sex because I know that it is something that is going to happen whether I like it or not but I don't want you not to know how to be safe."
Tara rubbed her hand over her face and pushed back a strand of hair that got loose. "So… Why the banana? He can put the condom on himself."
"Tara let me do this my way please." He told her sternly.
"Yes sir." She nodded.
"If you are going to be sexually active…shit I just said that to my 15 year old daughter…" He pinched the bridge of his nose. "You know what, I'll drop you off at the clinic next week and you can get birth control. The doctor can explain it all. Good talk."
Tara sat frozen in place because of the shock of him actually deciding not to talk about. She blew out a breath and it made her hair fly up. The next thing she knew the TV was turned on and her dad had patted the spot next to him. With a laugh she got up and curled up to her Dad's side.
"Let's keep Saturdays to football, shall we?" Dean asked his daughter.
"I like that idea Daddy." She smiled up at him before turning to cheer for the team against his favorite, just like she does every time.
...
After she finished up cleaning after dinner, walked into her bedroom and sat her desk. Tara pulled out all of the homework she had and started to work on all of it. About a half hour into it she heard the phone go off. She leaned over to grab it off of her night stand and hit answer.
"Hello." She answered.
"Hi babe." She could practically hear the smirk in his voice.
"How was work?"
"Fine, Clay and Tig have a few more things to teach me before I'll be able to work in the garage."
"Tow truck duty still then?" She frowned; she knew that he didn't really enjoy having to drive that around.
"Only a little bit longer. So how did the talk go." He laughed.
"Well actually it didn't…He was going to talk about how to have safe sax and once he said sexually active he realized he couldn't do it."
"Well fuck that wasn't as fun as I thought it would be."
"You can't see it but I am rolling my eyes."
"So does this mean that—"
"Patience…"
"Yeah, sure." He told her with a sigh.
"Soon, I promise."
"I'm holding you to that."
"I'd prefer you holding me to you but whatever works." Tara giggled.
"I'm going to hang up now."
"I'll miss you."
"You'll see me tomorrow."
"I will?" She asked not remembering them having any plans for Sunday.
"Well if you don't want to see me that's fine I guess…" Tara could imagine his face perfectly right now. It was sure to look like a lost puppy.
"I do want to see you… I just thought you had prospect stuff to do."
She heard him sigh. "I forgot all about all of that. I'll come over afterwards, keep your window open."
"Okay, I can do that. But you do sound tired so I'll let you go ahead and go to sleep baby."
"Goodnight Tara Grace."
"Goodnight Jackson." She whispered before she hung up the phone.
