"You sure you want to do this?!" Clive asked bringing Miranda's wheelchair to a halt outside Gary's room.
Miranda took a deep breathe before nodding.
Stevie opened the door as Clive wheeled her in.
"Oh my god!" Miranda whispered, tears swelling in her eyes.
"Where just outside" Clive put the brakes on the chair before leaving, Stevie followed.
"Gary!" Miranda cried taking his hand. "I'm so sorry! Its all my fault... if I didn't organize that stupid party for mum and dad..."
She carried on crying, she longed to stroke her fingers through his hair. But there was only a bare minimum left. His head clearly visible, so was all the dried blood around his scalp.
"I love you!" She burst, wipping at her face, "I love you... I love you!" She carried on, hoping, praying that somehow he'd wake up. Pull through. "you've got to wake up! I need you"
She cried into his hand, kissing it desperately.
She held onto her side with the over hand. She had a lot of pain.
"Please... just hold on, wake up..."
"Come here" Clive burst through the door and knelt down, bundling Miranda into his arms. "Shh" he gently rocked her.
Stevie ran through a few minutes later, she put the coffee on the table, she kissed her head and tried comforting her.
"What if he dosent make it?!" Miranda begged.
"Lets not think of that; we've just got to hope.." stevie whispered.
"C'mon, lets take you back" clive smiled.
Miranda shook her head, "we can't leave him on his own... i can't"
"Fine, not too long though.. the nurses are wanting to do your obs and medicine.." stevie added before they both left her alone again.
Miranda sighed. "You've got us all running around after you, you know" she took his hand again.
"Did you mean it?! You said you love me, you said you'll marry me.. even kids!" Miranda smiled slightly, "it'd be a long wait for kids, i refuse to come back here once were free..."
"Wake up... please, just let me know your still in there. Please." Miranda begged.
"Miranda?" Stevie gently opened the door, "we need to get you back, the doctor wants to see you"
Miranda nodded. She kissed Gary's hand. "I love you"
Clive came in and wheeled her out, "i'll be here soon mate, promise" he smiled at Gary before they all left.
