Throughout the forest, many students were scattered all around. And a few minutes before Kyouka and Kota's encounter with the dangerous-looking man, they all had their own experiences.
Somewhere near the entrance of the forest, Ojiro could hear teeth chattering next to him and turned to see Toru's shoulders were crossed, most likely grabbing her arms. "Is everything okay, Hagakure? You're not scared, are you?"
"N-No! It's just freezing out here! Can't you see what I'm wearing?!" Toru defended herself, trying to look brave.
"That's all I can see…" Ojiro muttered before looking at his own clothes. "But you're not wearing that much less than I am. Only difference is that I have slee-"
Rustles were heard in the bushes and Toru let out a loud yelp as she tighlt clung onto Ojiro's arm. "WHAT WAS THAT?!"
However, only a squirrel ran out of the bushes, and Ojiro held in a laugh as he looked at the girl. "It was only a squirrel. You didn't have to be so scared and grab my ar-" He then really felt how close Toru was and felt his face getting a little hot. "You know what…It's fine."
Toru continued to keep her clutches on the boy, feeling her own face get hot as well, but still didn't loosen her hold on him. 'Oh jeez, what I do? If I let go now, he might think I'm repulsed by him. Which I'm not! But could this gesture also give him some kind of idea…?'
The two shy teenagers continued their walk through the path in front of them, not realizing that a knife was brandished by a figure watching them from the bushes, who softly giggled.
'They're so cute together! But I think I can make them even cuter~'
A little further along the path, Itsuka was covering her mouth with her arm and wrapping her enlarged hands around Yui, who was carrying an unconscious Juzo.
She was currently surrounded by this purple gas that had just knocked out Juzo. Her eyes darted around to figure out what she could do in this situation. 'There has to be someone else around here!'
A floating eye suddenly appeared in front of her, making Itsuka jump and almost let go of her own mouth before speaking in a muffled voice. "Setsuna?"
The eye only winked at her before Itsuka heard Setsuna's voice from the forest. "Over there, Awase! Honenuki's out cold!"
Soon, Awase ran over to them, wearing a gas mask with a couple of masks in hand along with more welded to his clothes. "Great find, Tokage!"
Itsuka then noticed that Tetsutetsu was welded to Awase's back, and he was knocked out and wearing a gas mask. "Tetsutetsu! Did the gas get him too?"
Setsuna's disembodied, eyeless head followed right behind Awase and Itsuka could see a sad expression under her gas mask. Meanwhile, Awase started to hand Itsuka and Yui their own masks.
"We were caught off guard by the gas coverin' the area, and Tetstetsu pushed me out of the gas before I got caught up in it…I didn't even notice it until I was out of the way, and he was out cold…" Setsuna sighed as she rubbed her arm, her eye returning to her, the guilt on her face now apparent. "I'm sorry…"
Itsuka and Yui had their masks on before Itsuka walked over to Setsuna and placed her hand on her shoulder. "Don't be sorry, Setsuna. Besides, we both know that Tetsutetsu would be chewing you out if you blamed yourself. So, try to keep your chin up and be grateful that you're safe and sound."
Yui gently sat Juzo against a tree, putting a mask on him. "Where'd you get these?"
"Yaoyorozu was nearby and made a bunch of gas masks, and I'm spreadin' them all around the forest with my body parts, in case any of our classmates or anyone from Class A needs 'em." Setsuna raised a brow. "Actually, I think there's only one mask left. So almost everyone should be-Scratch that. Everyone's safe from the gas."
Setsuna started recalling her body parts, everyone watching as her body was being recompleted at a fairly quick pace. 'I missed you, right eye.'
Itsuka sighed in relief, placing her hand on her chest. "At least we don't have to worry about anybody else getting knocked out by the gas. So, do you guys know where Yaomomo is?"
"We don't. She mentioned that she'll try to help whoever she can, but with all the gas, we couldn't pinpoint which direction she went in." Awase walked over to Juzo and picked him up, carrying the other boy in his arms. "I'll take Honenuki and get back to camp. Are you all coming with?"
"If you don't mind, I'm going to go look for others in case they need any help to get out of the forest. If I'm lucky, I'll find Yaomomo as well." Itsuka looked over at Setsuna. "You and Yui follow Awase. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone."
Setsuna pouted. "Why are you looking at me in particular when you say that?"
"Because I know you're the type to get curious and explore." Itsuka responded, narrowing her eyes at the other girl. "I'll hopefully see you all soon. Stay safe out there."
With that, Itsuka ran off and Setsuna let out a small groan before mumbling. "Like I'm that predictable…"
"You heard her. Let's get a move on. I'm certain the camp is this way." Awase ran in the opposite direction of Itsuka, with Setsuna and Yui following behind.
But not even 10 seconds later, Setsuna diverted from the two, running deeper into the forest. Earlier, when both of her eyes were detached from her body, her right eye noticed an area where the gas was much thicker than everywhere else. And she could've sworn that she saw a faint silhouette of a person, standing still.
She figured that person wasn't any of her classmates or anyone from 1-A. So, whoever that was might be the cause of all this gas. Whether it was a quirk or some type of device, she might be able to stop it.
But she didn't engage the person in case they attacked her and destroyed her eye. And she'd appreciate not having to expend any unnecessary stamina from having to regenerate. Also, she wanted to confirm the rest of her classmates got gas masks before she fully reformed her body. But now that she had her full body, she's clear to engage and hopefully put a stop to the gas.
Despite all the masks being taken, she didn't want to risk anyone else being unprotected from this gas or ending up getting lost in it. Setsuna started formulating potential strategies, first trying to think of what she'll do when she arrives.
This person is a completely unknown variable, so she had to be ready for everything. She would've asked Awase and Yui to come along, but she didn't want to keep Juzo and Tetsutetsu in the forest, risking their lives. And she didn't want Yui to get hurt under her watch.
One of her classmates suffered for her sake not long ago and she doesn't want that happening again.
But as fate would have it, Setsuna heard another pair of footsteps running beside her, so she turned her head to see Yui right by her side.
Wait…Yui?
Yui gave Setsuna a peace sign as if this was a casual greeting.
"YUI?!" Setsuna was too focused on the other girl before running fast first into a tree, her body slowly sliding down it. "Fuuuck…"
Yui stopped running and leaned down to look at Setsuna, planting her hands on her knees. "Are you okay?"
"Course I am…" Blood trickled out of Setsuna's nose as she stood up and dusted off her clothes before wiping the blood off her nose. She then faced Yui and put on a nervous smile as she rubbed the back of her neck. "Whaaat are you doing here, Yui? Shouldn't you be with Awase?"
"And you?" Yui simply asked, pointing accusingly at the other girl.
"Oh, me? I've just never been great with directions. You know us green-haired types. We always tend to get lost. But we look good while doing it." Setsuna was avoiding eye contact and her lips were slightly puckering. An obvious face of a liar.
Yui kept her unwavering poker face on. "Coincidence. I'm lost as well."
Setsuna deadpanned at her. "At least try to come up with a good lie."
"So, you were lying?"
Setsuna's eyes widened, internally facepalming that she just exposed herself, not realizing that she didn't have Yui fooled for even a second. "Umm…"
"Let's go." Yui continued to run in the direction that Setsuna was running in, heading toward the thicker gas and the person.
"Huh? Hey Yui, wait up!" Setsuna let out a frustrated groan, muttering a few curse words before running after the girl. "Do you even know what I'm doing?"
"No." Yui simply answered.
"At least, let me explain it to you." Setsuna cleared her throat before beginning to tell Yui what she saw earlier and what she hoped to accomplish.
But her explanation didn't seem to cause any kind of reaction from Yui, so the two girls just continued to make their way towards this mysterious person in the gas.
'This girl simply does not give a fuck, does she?'
Returning to Kyouka and Kota's encounter, the boy's entire body was frozen as he saw the man's face, recognizing it in an instant. This was the man who murdered his parents. The man who took them from him.
And now this murderer is here to kill him too to finish the job.
Kyouka gulped, knowing that this has to be some kind of villain, and she can just feel the bloodlust oozing off of him. He looked like he was ready to kill both of them right now, and her combat ability might not be enough. Who is she kidding? It certainly won't be enough. She could feel her heart rapidly pounding in her chest as a bead of sweat rolled down from her forehead.
Her best chance was to stall and hopefully find some kind of opening to run away. There were no heroes nearby, not even her classmates. It was just her and Kota.
The girl kept her eyes focused on the man while still holding onto Kota's arm with her left hand. "So…Who are you?"
"Me? You know, you're right. I'd be rude not to introduce myself after such an abrupt greeting. Just call me Muscular." The man now known as Muscular slightly tilted his head to look at Kyouka. "And you…You must be Jirou, right? Are you the girl I'm not allowed to kill yet? I'm sorry, but when I hear I'm not allowed to kill someone, I lose interest. But I think I remember you. Yeah, I do."
Kyouka just stayed quiet, not wanting to say anything unnecessary and risking pissing him off. But she wondered what this guy meant by not being allowed to kill a certain girl. And if it is actually her and not any of her classmates or the girls from Class 1-B, then why can't she specifically be killed?
"Your matches disappointed me. You only won by using cheap tricks against your opponents instead of using actual strength. It was frustrating to see a strong kid like Bakugo almost get beaten by some weak little girl. You almost stopped that awesome final match from happening and made the entire festival a total bore. Is that what you are? A weakling and a bore?"
Kyouka did her best to make a brave face and knew that it wouldn't do her any good at ignoring that question. "No…I don't think I'm either of those things. But what about you? If you like to talk about strength, how come I don't see you on international T.V, showing it off?"
'Shit, I was snarky on instinct!'
"Touché, girlie. I may not have been on international T.V, but I have been on the news before. My display of strength may not have been shown, but the results were reported. My last appearance was quite a while ago after I killed these two heroes." Muscular explained, making Kota tense up and clench his teeth at hearing that last part. "Damn, I'm getting sidetracked and forgetting about my job here. You have any idea where Bakugo is?"
'He wants Bakugo? Not that I'm 100% against this guy being with Bakugo instead of me, but why?'
"…No. I don't know where he is." Kyouka gulped as she slowly raised her hand to her choker, feeling Izuku's steady heartbeat from the accessory, making her own heartbeat begin to lower at a slow pace as she felt more relaxed with his heartbeat.
That means he's safe then. She doesn't have to worry about him for now. That's a relief and a huge weight off her shoulders.
Luckily, Muscular didn't seem to care about her little gesture. "So, that means you're useless to me, then. I'd kill you now, but I don't want to bother getting an earful from the 'Master' in case you are the girl. But Shigaraki sure would be happy if I did end up killin' you. I may not be sure if you're the girl we have to keep alive, but I know for damn sure that Shigaraki wants you dead along with that Midoriya kid."
'The League of Villains are behind this attack? Of course. Why wouldn't they be? But he wants Izuku and I to be killed, huh? Makes sense, considering our last meeting. At least these guys are far from Izuku. So as far as I'm concerned, I just have to save my own skin…Kota's too.'
"If you stand back and let me kill the kid, I'll only break your arms and legs. But if you get in the way, I'll get a lot more rough with you. We got a deal, girlie?" Muscular offered, taking a step closer to Kyouka and Kota.
Kyouka knew that it was now or never. She had hoped that he would somehow get distracted by some miracle, but it didn't happen. He was laser-focused on her and the kid now, so there was only a single option left available to her.
'Izuku, please give me courage cause I sure as hell need it now more than ever…'
"Run!" Kyouka ran in the opposite direction of Muscular, dragging Kota along with her, who still wasn't very responsive. She didn't know how far she would get, but she had to do what she could. She put all of her power into her legs, not wanting to lose a second of speed.
But before she could get very far, Muscular jumped over her and the boy, landing in front of them. A thick layer of muscle fibers wrapped around the villain's arms as he closed his hands into fists. "Why are you running?! Let's have some fun!"
In instant retaliation, Kyouka shot both her earphone jacks at the villain's arms, hoping to disable them. The jacks stabbed right into the surface of his muscle fibers, but she was unable to penetrate them.
The girl grit her teeth before channeling her heartbeat into her earphone jacks in hopes that this will be good enough, but all she could see were small vibrations in the areas she stabbed him in. "You gotta be kidding me..."
'I'm too weak for this!'
"You tryna give me a massage?" Muscular grabbed the tip of her left jack with two fingers, plucking it off his arm like a splinter, while Kyouka managed to pull away her right jack in time. He held the jack in front of his face to examine it. "Not impressed."
Muscular proceeded to start slowly squeezing and grinding her jack in between his fingertips, watching it turn purple and listening to the slight popping of the cartilage inside.
"No! Let go! Please! Let go!" Kyouka screamed out, tears welling in her eyes from the pain. She tried to pull her earphone jack away, but the villain had it in a vice grip on it.
'It hurts! It hurts so much! Make it stop!'
She doesn't want to lose her earphone jack. Izuku loves them. She can't lose them.
A bit of blood burst out of the tip of her jack, landing on the villain's cheek. The girl was crying out in pure pain now, feeling like her jack was going to explode into pieces any second now.
'If you don't stop this, I'll kill you! I swear, I'll kill you!'
"I wonder how much more blood will gush out once I make this thing pop! I'm excited to see! Show it all to me!" Muscular's deranged smile grew wide, but before he could make her jack pop, a blast of fire hit the back of his head, forcing him to let go.
Kyouka finally managed to pull back her earphone jack, but when she looked at it, she could see that the jack was bleeding, heavily bruised, and the metal tip was crudely bent. She was scared to touch it, worried that she might make it worse as a tear dropped. "F-Fuck…"
"Apologies for being late." Kyouka looked behind Muscular to see Shoto as flames dissipated from his left arm. "You shouldn't run off on your own like that without a word, Jirou. But I'm glad I decided to follow after you."
"T-Todoroki?" Kyouka was breathing heavily as she never felt so grateful to see him.
'I'm sorry for thinking about manipulating you out of being Izuku's friend.'
"Damn, that burned." Muscular felt the back of his head, feeling some of his hair singed off, making him frown. "Now I hafta get a haircut after all this."
Shoto lit another flame in his left hand, ready to attack again as Muscular turned around to face him. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, Todoroki! I was hoping to get to fight one of the strong ones!" Muscular pounded his fists together, ignoring the question. "But let me kill the kid and cripple the girl before I get to you. Do you mind waiting 10 seconds? 15 tops." Shoto only responded by firing another blast of fire at him, but the villain simply raised his hand to block the fire with his palm before smirking at the boy. "So, you do mind?"
"Get out of here and return to camp! I'll hold him off for as long as I can!" Shoto kept his eyes trained on the villain as a trail of ice released from his right leg, traveling across the edge of the cliff until it stopped right next to Kyouka, creating a rough, bumpy slide down the cliff and into the forest. "Now!"
A look of hesitation flashed on Kyouka's face for a split second before she nodded. "Uh-huh…Try to stay safe, Todoroki."
She picked up Kota and quickly got on the freezing slide, sliding down it. The bumpiness of the slide was hurting her butt a little, but she could handle it if it meant getting away from that monster.
"Don't think I'll make it that easy for you to get away!" Muscular raised his foot and muscle fibers wrapped around it before stomping on the ground, shattering the ice slide. Kyouka and Kota were only halfway down the slide when it shattered, making them fall down into the forest.
Shoto looked down the cliff as he heard both Kyouka and Kota screaming off the edge of the cliff, his eyes widening before running towards it, hoping to create some kind of ice slope to soften their fall.
But Muscular dashed to Shoto, grabbing his left arm and squeezing it. "Let them take care of themselves."
Cracks were heard from Shoto's left arm, and he grunted loudly in response. So, he grabbed Muscular's head with his right hand, instantly freezing it and encasing it in ice.
Muscular let go of Shoto as he grabbed onto the ice around his head before crushing it off himself. Shoto jumped back to get some distance between himself and the villain before looking down the cliff. "Jirou…You stay safe too."
Kyouka kept her hold on Kota as she fell hard on her side and groaned loudly in pain. "God dammit…Urgh!"
She panted as Kota got off of her and looked at her in concern. "A-Are you okay?"
Kyouka took in a few deep breaths and despite her entire body feeling extremely sore, she didn't have any broken bones. "Y-Yeah…I'm f-fine, kid…"
The girl sat up and took in a few more deep breaths, but when she tried to stand up, she found herself struggling with a lot of pain in her right ankle.
'Don't tell me I sprained it! Fucking hell! Feels like a bad sprain too.'
Kyouka scooted to a nearby tree, grabbing onto it and starting to use it as support to pick herself back up. "Mother fucker…" She then saw Kota looking up at her as she sweatdropped. "Forget you heard that."
Kota just grabbed her hand but looked away. "I will, but only if you forget that I'm doing this."
Kyouka gave Kota a small smile before starting to limp through the forest as fast as she could. Of course, she didn't push herself too hard because if she injured her leg any further with only Kota around to assist her, she was guaranteed to be dead meat.
His gesture of holding her hand really wasn't doing all that much. But she'd be lying if she said that she didn't appreciate it.
This kid may not be 100% on her good side yet, but he's showing potential. As long as he apologizes to Izuku in the end, then they'll all be A-OK.
Kyouka started to limp her way through the forest, trying to get back to the Pussycats for help as Kota went along with her. "We gotta hurry. I don't know how long Todoroki can hold him off."
"Is he going to die?" Kota looked up at her with much fear and worry in his eyes as Kyouka looked right at them.
The girl wasn't sure how to respond to that in a way that doesn't sound too cynical. But in cases like these, she'll take a page from Izuku's book.
Kyouka gave Kota a wide smile and patted his head with her free hand. "He'll be just fine. He won't die. Same goes for us."
They both slowly but surely made their way through the forest, hoping that Shoto can buy enough time for them while simultaneously staying alive. It was a big ask for sure, but it's what they needed.
Meanwhile, up on the cliff, Muscular let the pained groans of Kyouka replay in his ears for a few moments. "Too bad. It would've been comical if there was a boulder or a sharp stump at the end of that fall."
"Is all this some sick game to you?" Shoto asked, glaring at Muscular as he gently grabbed onto his left arm, lightly freezing it to numb the pain.
"Why wouldn't it be?" Muscular asked so nonchalantly. "Games are fun, right? And I have the most fun when I'm killing people. It's who I am. That's the problem with you hero types. You always try to suppress the needs of others when their values don't align with your own."
Soto noticed a small twitch in the villain's eye, reeling that he was starting to get frustrated. 'Dammit, I have to take action now. If I'm fortunate, I can put a stop to him or at least stall him for a significant amount of time in one simple move.'
He pulled back his right arm, frost emitting from his hand, before swinging it upward, instantly creating a giant glacier of ice in the villain's direction.
Muscular's entire body was now entrapped in the ice, only his head sticking out. He looked in front of him to see ice covering the entire surface of the cliff and a few large chunks of ice sticking out of the ground, surrounding the boy.
Shoto panted as frost was covering the right side of his body, but he began to thaw himself out by heating up his body while taking a few steps back to distance himself even more. "Now…Don't move a muscle. I'd rather not have this fight escalate any further than necessary..."
Muscular looked around, struggling to move his neck as he could see there wasn't any wiggle room for him to move in. "Impressive move, kid. This kind of move would contain any normal man." Cracks began to form on the ice. "Too bad I'm no mere man…" He let out a shout before the ice shattered all around his body, an extra layer of muscle fibers being added to his body. "Hope you're ready to use more of that fire, kid! Because I don't wanna catch a cold!"
Shoto let out a frosty breath as he had an annoyed expression on his face. "I knew that was too good to be true. I shouldn't have been so naive."
Muscular brushed off pieces of ice from his shoulder, letting out his own frosty breath from the freezing air that now surrounded the cliff. "It's my turn now…"
The villain suddenly jumped at Shoto and grabbed his torso before forcefully throwing him against the wall. The boy coughed up blood as his back made contact with said wall.
Shoto found himself on one knee as some blood flowed down his head. 'I think I can still move…But I don't know how long I can last against this guy. He's obviously toying with me right now. With his immense speed and power in this small area, he'd be able to demolish me. It'd be the same if I fought against Midoriya in this type of arena. But this guy seems a lot stronger at a base level. If I compare this man's power to Midoriya's, then there's only one thing I can do now.'
"That's what I like to see." Muscular stood in front of Shoto, a satisfied smile on his face as he licked his lips. "Stand up. I need you to entertain me just a little longer before I take care of Jirou and the kid." His smile widened. "I know she hasn't gone very far. I have experience in chasing down limping victims."
Shoto began to stand back up as he tensed up his left arm, ignoring the pain that still lingered. "I won't let you get your hands on her again. I wouldn't be able to face my friend ever again if I allowed something to happen to her under my watch. I already owe him an apology for letting her get hurt before I arrived…So stay away from her!"
Shoto's entire left side was consumed by flames, half the clothes on his torso burning off, before shooting a powerful blast of fire at the villain, using as much strength as possible. What he didn't realize was that the freezing air around him amplified the strength of the fire.
Muscular's eyes widened, seeing the fire looking stronger than it did before, so he raised his arms, adding a much thicker layer of muscle fibers to his entire body in order to shield himself from the attack.
The entire cliff was consumed by raging flames, all the ice in the area melting. Even Shoto was surprised by how powerful his flames felt.
Muscular continued to block the fire, but he felt himself starting to sweat as his muscles were getting hotter and hotter with each second.
Shoto felt his body starting to overheat as his flames were extinguished. He heavily panted more than he did before, beginning to cool his body down. In the meantime, he looked in front of him to see some of the muscle fibers on the villain retracting back into his body. He closed his eyes, sighing and obviously frustrated.
Muscular's body was back to normal, only having the normal thick layer of muscle fibers on his arm. His muscle fibers were blackened on the surface from getting burned by those powerful flames.
'That actually hurt a little…If I didn't block that, I might've been done for.'
"Those were my strongest attacks…And that monster…took them all on…" Shoto was exhausted from maximizing his ice and fire output back-to-back. But he still felt that he had enough energy in him to keep going for multiple smaller scaled attacks. If there's anything he's learned from a good friend, it's to endure. "But…I'm not done yet."
"I like your spirit, Todoroki. But how about we have a change of scenery?" Before Shoto could do anything, his entire head was grabbed by Muscular.
Kyouka was still limping through the forest, Kota holding onto her hand in case he needed to support her. "Yo, kid. I think we're about halfway to the camp. We're not going at the ideal speed, but I think we're going to make it…"
And as if the universe heard her and decided to play a cruel trick on her. Time slowed down as she saw Shoto's body plummeting down from the trees above before crashing onto the ground, creating a small cloud of dust.
From shock, Kyouka ended up falling on her butt, lightly groaning in pain from her ankle making contact with the ground.
When the dust settled, she could see that her classmate was lying on the ground, his head bloodied along with his left arm that got cut up from that fall.
He was completely out cold as his chest slowly rose and fell, at least signifying that he was still alive. But if Shoto's down here, then that means…
Muscular landed right next to Shoto with a loud crash, making the ground slightly rumble. He looked down at Shoto, seeing that he was slowly regaining consciousness. "You got quite the will, don't ya?" The villain pounded his fist against a nearby tree, letting it fall down onto Shoto's legs. "Now, how should I put you down?"
Muscular raised his leg, prepared to stomp on Shoto's head and smash it open like a pumpkin, until a splash of water hit the back of his head.
He slowly turned around to see Kota with his arms outstretched and water dripping down his hands. "Don't touch him!"
Kota shot out more water at Muscular's face, but this action didn't even make the villain blink. "Is that supposed to be a joke? I'm not laughing here. But I will admit…that quirk brings back some memories."
"Because my parents had similar quirks!" Kota shouted, tears falling to the ground. "Remember Water Hose?! How much did you toy with them before you killed them?!"
Muscular raised a brow, shaking water out of his hair. "Oh, those losers? Our encounter must be fate." He pointed at his prosthetic eye. "Those two are the reason I had to get this fake eye in my left socket. But don't think I took it personally. I would've slaughtered them no matter what."
As they talked, Kyouka's good earphone jack slowly crept up a tree, traveling along the branches like a snake. If she were lucky, she could get a good shot and jam her jack right into his ear. It's possible that this could take him out. With the minimal light and all the foliage, there's no way he should be able to notice.
Her earphone jack was right above Muscular now, beginning to slowly lower itself down and lining itself up to his ear. Kyouka took a deep breath to focus, so she wouldn't miss, knowing that she only has one shot at this.
'Now!'
Kyouka shot her earphone jack toward his ear, but a faint BOOM was heard in the distance, making Muscular begin to turn his head.
Instead of jamming her jack into his ear, she ended up grazing his good eye with the tip of her jack, scratching it, and making it bleed. Muscular let out a sharp hiss in pain, placing his hand on his good eye.
'Shit! I missed!'
Kyouka quickly recalled her earphone jack so this one wouldn't get grabbed by him, and she used that jack to grab Kota, pulling him to her.
Muscular's vision now had a dark red color filter to it as he looked down at the girl. "That was a close one. You nearly blinded me." Some blood flowed down from his eye, landing on his lips before he licked them. "Kudos to you…"
Kyouka wrapped her arm around Kota, slowly pulling him closer to her body. She had to stand up and try to run again. But with her sprained ankle, would she even be able to stand up in time before he attacks?
"I'm usually a lot more brutal and quick about my kills, but when I deal with weaklings, it makes me want to take my time and savor every moment of their fear before their eventual death." Muscular cracked his knuckles, as more muscle fibers were slowly added to his right arm. "But I think I'm done playing around now."
Kota's body was shaking now more than ever as he tried to pull away from Kyouka, knowing that he was the real target. If he can get away from this girl, then she won't have to die for him. But it was no use, as Kyouka only tightened her hold on him. 'Please don't die for me! I'm not worth it!'
"You know what, I don't care if you're the girl we have to spare! If you're going to keep standing in my way of killing this brat, then I'll take your blood all over my hands as well!" Muscular charged at the sitting girl, pulling back his right arm before he threw a punch aimed right at Kota.
Kyouka held Kota tight and braced herself for the incoming attack as she closed her eyes, feeling as if a meteor was hurtling toward her. "You'll be fine, kid! I'm with you!"
Feeling left with no other option, she shot her earphone jack forward towards his fist in hopes that it can do something, anything, despite how ineffective it was last time. But at a time like this, all she can do is hope.
BADUMP
However, her earphone jack seemed to pierce right through the muscle fibers like a hot knife going through butter this time.
Her jack reached his hand, plugging deep into it until hitting bone, and she immediately channeled her heartbeat into the limb.
What no one saw coming next was the villain's entire forearm blowing off of his body as if there was an explosive planted inside of it.
Blood and muscle fibers splattered everywhere as the villain looked at his right arm, being met with the sight of a bleeding stump. He was stunned to silence as he stumbled a few steps back, his physical state processing in his mind before all the pain hit him at once.
Muscular screamed out bloody murder as he dropped to one knee, instinctively trying to grab onto where his forearm should be. "MY ARM! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY FUCKING ARM?!"
Shoto's eyes shot open from the screaming, his head rapidly moving around to get a look at his surroundings before his eyes focused on Kyouka. "Jirou…"
His vision was still a little blurry, but he could almost swear that he was seeing a lot of red on the ground next to Kyouka and that the villain he was just fighting seemed to be down an arm.
"What…What happened? God, my head…" Shoto tried to massage his head before trying to stand up and noticing two things. First, he was stuck under a fallen tree. Second, it felt as if his left leg was broken. "Huh…"
Kyouka breathed heavily as she felt drops of blood land on her cheek and hair, her heart somehow beating even faster than it ever has before. And a part of her shirt was drenched from that explosion of blood, with a singular long muscle fiber draping over her shoulder.
The tip of her earphone jack was coated in blood as it dripped down onto the ground. However, instead of being freaked out, which would be the normal reaction, her lips slowly began to twist into a sinister smile.
All the fear in her body was expelled all at once.
And the only emotion she could feel right now was fulfillment.
"Gotcha…"
With her eyes still closed, the girl let go of Kota, ignoring his presence entirely, and stood straight up as if her ankle was perfectly fine. Both her earphone jacks slowly rose up as well, including the one that was all busted up.
Muscular's good eye was bloodshot from rage, pain, and the blood from the cut as muscle fibers wrapped around the fresh wound where his forearm once was to close it off. "You'll pay for that! I'll pluck your bones out one by one before I kill you! I'll make sure you suffer the most gruesome death imaginable to pay me back for my arm! All that'll be left of you is a red paste on the ground, full of your blood and guts! You hear me?! Your corpse won't be recognizable by the time I'm done with you!"
Muscular let out a rageful battle cry as an extremely thick layer of muscle fibers wrapped around his left arm, being more than double the mass of the muscle fibers he was using before.
Kyouka opened her eyes to face him with a look of pure confidence on her, ready to attack again and finish him off for good this time.
When Shoto glanced at Kyouka, he noticed something different about her eyes as they opened. But he didn't have time or clear enough vision to properly process what exactly he saw, and his throbbing head didn't help much either.
'Dammit! I have to help Jirou however I can. I can't just sit idly by and do nothi-'
"Go to hell!" A voice shouted from above before Muscular's entire body was blasted by a powerful explosion, sending Kyouka and Kota tumbling back a little from the force of that explosion. Kyouka looked up to see Katsuki with both his hands facing downwards and a cocky smirk on his face, despite flinching for a split second. "Would ya look at that! My quirk has gotten stronger!"
A normal person would be relieved to see their classmates saving them, even if it was Katsuki. But Kyouka was looking absolutely livid, standing up as she faced the person she hates more than anyone in the world. If he's going to get in her way from killing this monster, then he'll have to pay the price. Her earphone jacks were pointed right up at him and were ready to shoot forward until she heard a familiar voice speak.
"What happened, Bakugo?! Are Kyouka and Kota safe?!" It was Izuku's voice.
A calmness swept over the girl, and her earphone jacks lowered before she seethed in pain from her injured jack and her sprained ankle as her knees slightly buckled. Despite the pain, her heartbeat was starting to significantly lower as well. She just felt at peace to hear her hero's voice. For a brief moment, all was well in the world.
But while Kyouka became calm, Katsuki became irritated as he pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Huh?! How are ya callin' my damned phone?! I don't remember answering a call!"
"Oh, what I did was-" Before Izuku could start explaining, Katsuki hung up on him, staring daggers into his phone in hopes those daggers would transfer to Izuku.
"That nerd better not pull that shit ever again." Katsuki seethed under his breath as he pocketed his phone. The boy then landed in front of a cloud of smoke that was enveloping the villain, now standing between him and Kyouka. "What's the matter, Earlobes? Ya having trouble with this weakling?"
Kyouka rolled her eyes as she looked at Katsuki, her state of peace coming crashing down. "Of course, you're here of all people. And what do you mean by weakling? You're only saying that because you haven't seen his monstrous strength."
The smoke around Muscular began to clear, and everyone now saw that he really did lose an arm as Katsuki gestured his shoulder toward him. "He must be a weakling if he lost that arm to you. Unless it was this brat that did that."
Kyouka and Kota both shook their hands, confident that neither one of them was the cause of the villain's missing arm, before speaking at the same time. "Wasn't me!"
Shoto watched this exchange and judging from Kyouka's blood-coated earphone jack, he had a good guess at who it was. But how could she have done that?
During the Sports Festival, she did plug her jacks into Katsuki's hands, and they weren't blown off. All that happened was that his arms were disabled.
And even ignoring how she could have dismembered him, how did she manage to get through his muscle fibers? He could tell those things were tough and if he had to guess, she tried to penetrate them earlier but failed before he arrived at the scene.
Is it possible that his fire blast from earlier weakened that villain's muscle fibers? Could that also explain how her vibrations dismembered him instead? Or did she manage to push beyond her limits during a life-and-death situation?
He couldn't make sense of it. But he knew now was the wrong time to think about all this. For now, his only focus should be on the murderous psychopath, who Katsuki just blew up.
The smoke had entirely cleared now, Muscular's fit of rage having subsided a little. But anyone could see that the rage was still very much present. "Bakugo, right?! You better not get in my way too! Because I won't hesitate to kill you along with every other kid I see! Cause to hell with my job!"
"Show me what you got, Stumpy!" Katsuki watched as Muscular charged at him as if he was a rhino, while Kyouka and Kota dove out of the way. Katsuki used his explosions to barely dodge the man, looking behind himself. "Pathetic."
Muscular ended up running through some trees, effortlessly knocking them down. He ended up going for another charge and tried adding in a punch this time, but it was dodged again, and Katsuki fired a small explosion at his face.
"Bakugo, be careful with your explosions! If you fire them off too recklessly, you'll cause a fire!" Shoto warned his classmate, not wanting anyone else in the forest to be put at risk.
"I know that, Icy Hot!" Katsuki shouted, still using small explosions to dodge the villain, more trees getting knocked down. "Why'd ya think I cupped my hands when I blew him up earlier?! It reduces the damn radius! I'm not that much of an idiot!"
Muscular continued to attack Katsuki, but each attack was met with a precise dodge and the occasional explosion to the head or torso. However, he didn't seem to be getting tired or that much weaker from these constant actions.
"After fighting someone like All Might, this punk's speed is nothin'! He may as well be a snail I get to crush under my heel!" Katsuki taunted, dodging another attack with ease.
Shoto watched how Muscular was moving now, comparing it to how he was moving back on the cliff. 'He's slower. And his movements seem more sporadic. He's fighting with pure rage. Like an animal. It also seems that he's thrown away defense, fighting with pure offense.'
Shoto then placed his right hand on the tree on top of him, freezing the entire thing inside and out, before forcefully bringing down his elbow on it and shattering the tree into shards of ice. He then created a rough staff out of ice to use as a crutch before using it for support to slowly pick himself back up.
He examined his own body for a moment, connecting the dots with his left arm being scratched up, his left leg being broken, and not to mention the left side of his face having been burned.
'Perhaps my left side is cursed…Yeah, that checks out.'
After Katsuki fired one more explosion on Muscular's face, he used an explosion to propel himself straight up into the air.
Muscular jumped after Katsuki, preparing to spike him into the ground with full force, waiting for the boy to attempt to hit him with another explosion.
What he didn't expect was Katsuki dodging to the side with an explosion, slipping both of his hands deep into Muscular's muscle fibers before his hands began to glow orange. "See how ya like this!"
The boy grabbed the fibers tight before firing a strong, point-blank explosion with maximum output as the muscle fibers expanded for a split second.
The muscle fibers were heavily damaged by that explosion, many of them now loosely hanging out of his arm rather than being as compact as they were before.
But Muscular only clenched his teeth in pain before letting out a shot and punching Katsuki, sending the boy crashing straight down to the ground.
Katsuki just got back up, shaking some dirt out of his air with a wide smirk. "Not enough to finish ya, huh? Too bad your weak-ass punch wasn't enough either! What, did that missing arm nerf ya that much?! I know a jackass that hits harder than that!"
It was obvious that Katsuki was injured from that punch from the scratches on his body paired with his body ever so slightly shaking from the pain. But he didn't seem to care one bit. If anything, he looked more excited than ever as he looked at his hands.
'Reduced strain too.'
Muscular roared in anger and thick layers of muscle fibers wrapped around his legs before landing right onto a tree, smashing it, and sending sizable splinters flying everywhere.
Shoto quickly created a wall of ice in front of himself while Kyouka and Kota hid behind a tree, the girl only getting slightly cut in the arm.
Katsuki fired a flurry of explosions to destroy any splinters that headed toward him, but one thin splinter got through his defenses and ended up deeply cutting his left cheek.
The boy only seethed in pain, but there were no more splinters flying at him now. "Bastard…"
While Katsuki and Muscular got back into another struggle, Shoto made his way over to Kyouka and Kota by using his crutch. "So, how are we going to help him?"
"Help…him?" Kyouka asked as if the idea of helping Katsuki was foreign to her.
Shoto nodded, taking the question seriously. "That's right. It's important that we avoid Bakugo taking unnecessary damage and end this battle as quickly as possible."
'He's got a point. The quicker this battle ends, the quicker I get to return to Izuku.'
Kyouka shrugged her shoulders. "Fine, I'll help."
"Let me help too!" Kota clutched onto Kyouka's leg. "I just gotta help take this guy down!"
"It'd be highly irresponsible for me to allow a child to help in such a dangerous task." Kyouka cupped her chin before smirking down at him. "Lucky for you, I've never been known to be the most responsible type. But don't do anything too reckless and keep yourself at a distance. A long distance."
Kota's face brightened up as he nodded. "I'll be careful! Promise!"
"We'll be glad to have your assistance." Shoto smiled at the kid before leaning over to Kyouka and whispering in her ear. "What can he do?"
"He has a quirk that lets him shoot water from his hands. It's kinda weak, but I see no harm in letting him try to help." Kyouka whispered back. "Who knows, he might be more help than me since he doesn't have a sprained ankle."
"You have a sprained ankle?" Shoto asked, earning a nod from the girl as she pointed down at her right ankle. "Hm, could you raise your right leg for me?"
"Raise it? Um, okay…" Kyouka raised her right leg, her ankle now being slightly above her waist.
"Now, please bear with me here…" Shoto gently grabbed her right ankle, lightly freezing it.
Kyouka shivered, her ankle feeling like it was in the Arctic as she instantly lowered her leg back to the ground. "H-Hey!"
"How does your ankle feel?"
"C-Cold! How else would it feel?!" Kyouka let his question linger in her mind a little longer before she widened her eyes as she moved around her right ankle. "The pain…It's not gone, but it hurts a lot less than before."
"Good. Remember to not put much strain on it though. Don't think your ankle is healed in any way. All I'm doing is temporarily reducing the pain." Shoto informed her. "But it should be enough time for you to move somewhat normally for a good while."
Kyouka nodded before they all turned to Muscular. "So, any ideas? I have one, but I'm not sure if it'll work…"
Frost slowly emitted from Shoto's right hand. "Let me know what you have in mind because I have an idea myself." He looked down at Kota. "It involves you too."
The three talked amongst themselves as Katsuki went in for another attack on Muscular before taking a punch to the gut, sent flying until his back hit a tree.
Katsuki quickly got back on his feet, wiping some blood from his lips, and rolling his shoulders. He was ready to taunt the villain again before being interrupted.
"Bakugo, try blowing up his legs like you did before with his arm!" Shoto shouted, making a fist with his right hand.
"Put a sock in it!" Katsuki rushed at Muscular, diving under his legs before slipping a hand into the muscle fibers of each leg, blowing them up from the inside. "I was planning on doing that anyway, so don't think you're the one giving orders, bastard!"
The muscle fibers around Muscular's legs became loose as well from the explosion before the villain grabbed Katsuki by the hair and slammed him onto the ground. "Now, show me your blood!" But before he could use his fist to smash Katsuki's head in, a splash of water hit his legs, soaking them as the water seeped into the muscle fibers, but he only smirked. "Don't think I'm letting that weak splash distract me this time!"
As the villain was bringing down his fist onto Katsuki's head, Shoto quickly slid into the scene with his ice, using his crutch as a sort of ski pole. He smacked Katsuki's body away with his crutch before swiping his right hand across Muscular's legs, freezing them.
"Did ya really think freezing my body for the third time would do anything?!" Muscular tried to move his legs to instantly shatter ice like he's done before, but his legs were completely immobilized. "Huh?"
Shoto was still sliding away until he grabbed onto a tree to stop himself. "Before, I only managed to freeze the exterior of your muscle fibers. But with newly acquired access to the interior, your fibers won't be able to move at all."
"Then, I'll have to break out the old-fashioned way!" Muscular was about to punch his legs to break the ice until feeling a foreign object entering the muscle fibers on his arm. "What the-!"
Kyouka had circled around Muscular, now directly behind him as her earphone jack was in his muscle fibers, traveling through the loose fibers until finding a proper opening to his arm.
'Gotcha!'
She channeled her heartbeat into his arm, vibrations traveling through the entire arm until it fell limply to his side.
Muscular's face slowly changed from that of rage and cockiness to panic as his legs were immobilized and his arm was completely disabled. "No! Dammit!" He turned to Kyouka, whose earphone jack safely returned to her, as rage came back to his face. "YOU!"
"Stay focused on the real threat, you loser!" Katsuki was right above Muscular, his hands facing the villain as sparks popped out of them. "Now die!"
A massive explosion hit Muscular from above, a lot larger and stronger than the explosion he used when he first arrived. Everyone else in the area had to hold onto trees in order to not get blown away by the force of the explosion.
A few trees were caught on fire from the explosion, and the fire began to slowly spread. Katsuki smirked as he stood in front of said trees, his arms slightly tensed up in pain as he lightly panted. "I win."
The smoke in front of him started to clear, revealing a massive crater with an unconscious Muscular laying in the center, his muscle fibers now completely retracted back into his body with a pool of blood forming under him from his stump.
Kyouka fell on her butt, sighing. "It's over?"
Shoto nodded, making his way to the crater, and looking down at the villain. "It seems like it. He won't be getting up for a while."
"Thank god." Kyouka let out a small chuckle before hearing a few tears hit the ground next to her. "Huh?"
Kota was crying as he saw that the man who took the lives of his parents was finally defeated. And he was able to help defeat him too. He felt as if he managed to avenge his parents.
Kyouka smiled at the kid, holding out her fist toward him. "Good job, Kota."
Kota looked at the fist and wiped his tears before he gave her a fist bump. "You too. You…All of you…" The tears came back to him as he smiled at her. "You're my heroes."
Shoto smiled, feeling those words lifting his spirits, before he looked down at the crater and very carefully made his down it, using his ice to make sure he doesn't trip and fall.
"Todoroki, what are you doing?" Kyouka asked, having no clue why Shoto would go down the crater, despite his broken leg.
Did he want to confirm that Muscular was actually knocked out?
Shoto had finally made it down to the villain as he slowly crouched down.
His hand then glowed a bright orange before planting it on his bleeding stump, a sizzling sound being heard from the wound. Muscular's body spasmed from the burning pain, but when Shoto was finished searing shut his wound, he still seemed to be perfectly knocked out.
Shoto stood back up, examining his work to confirm the wound wasn't bleeding anymore. "It'd be a shame if he bled out in the middle of the forest after we defeated him."
Kyouka had to stop herself from rolling her eyes, not being able to care less about whether this scum bleeds out or not.
'Yeah…A shame…'
As Shoto slowly made his way out of the crater, Kyouka had just noticed that the fire was spreading through some of the trees. "Oh crap! Kota, some fire control is needed!"
"Y-Yeah!" Kota started to splash water on the trees, putting the fire out. Thankfully, the fire didn't spread all that much, so it didn't take very long to put out all the fire. "I think I'm done."
"Took ya long enough to notice, Earlobes." Katsuki leaned against a tree.
"You couldn't have said anything?!" Kyouka snapped at him. "It was your fault to begin with!"
"I wouldn't have had to use that much power if you weaklings killed him faster!" Katsuki snapped back. "Or you could've blown off his other arm too! Make it even!"
"What makes you think it was me?!"
"I don't know, maybe it's all that blood on that stupid earlobe of yours!"
"All the what?!" Kyouka moved her earphone jack in front of her face, seeing the blood on it. "What?! Gross! Help me out here, kid!" Her entire face and jack were splashed with water multiple times before she spat some out. "...Thanks."
Without looking, she wiped her earphone jack with her shirt to properly wipe the blood off, mostly cleaning her jack.
Shoto was now directly in front of Kyouka, closely examining her face until the girl spoke up. "Yo…Ever heard of personal space?"
"Sorry. I just thought I saw something different about your eyes when I regained consciousness, but it appears that I was wrong. Your eyes are still purple." Shoto stated as he backed off and was now looking somewhere else instead of her face. "So, Jirou…" He pointed at her shoulder. "Are you going to do anything about that? Or do you plan on keeping it there?"
"Say what? What are you talking about?" Kyouka touched her own shoulder, but was met with a moist, thick, and tender object. "What. Is. That?"
Kota looked away, his stomach feeling queasy from just looking at it. "You should look at it yourself. I was gonna ask Aunt Shino to take me to an R-rated movie, but I think I'll pass now…"
Kyouka hesitantly grabbed the object and took it off her shoulder before taking a look at it, staring blankly at it, the object finally processing in her mind. It was a thick, long muscle fiber that was soaked in blood.
The girl felt herself gagging as she let the muscle fiber drop to the ground with a plop. She then started to look around her surroundings, finally seeing the aftermath of Muscular's missing arm. She saw splotches of blood, dozens of muscle fibers littered around, some shards of bone mixed in the blood, and…a couple of curled-up dismembered fingers.
"Oh god…"
Kyouka rushed to a bush and leaned over before beginning to puke all over it.
"What a weak stomach." Katsuki scoffed at her with a smug smile. "I've seen worse in movies, even when I was a kid."
Shoto was patting Kyouka's back as he looked at the surrounding gore. "This is my first time seeing something like this in real life. However, I seem to have a stomach for it."
Kyouka groaned as she finally finished and wiped her mouth. She then looked down at her clothes, seeing how soaked they were with blood. The feeling of wanting to puke slowly returned, but she managed to hold it in this time. "I need a shower…A shower and a cremation chamber for my clothes."
Kyouka felt her choker and looked down at her ring before sighing in relief, no signs of blood being splattered on them. 'At least those two were somehow spared.'
If her choker and ring, the two accessories that represent her love for Izuku, were to get stained with blood, she wouldn't be sure if she'd be able to forgive herself.
She couldn't care less how messed up the rest of her clothes get. As long as those two stay nice and clean.
"If you'd like, you can remove your clothes right here, and I can burn them for you." Shoto offered, not knowing why Kyouka's expression turned into a disgusted one after he spoke.
"No, you perv!" Kyouka wrapped her arms around her body, turning away from him.
"Huh?" Shoto still had no idea what her problem was. She said that she wanted her clothes to be cremated, and he thought she would appreciate his offer.
Kyouka glanced behind herself and saw Shoto's scratched-up arm before she sighed and looked over at Kota. "Hey. You mind using your quirk on his arm? Sorry if I'm working you like a horse, by the way."
"It's okay. It's the least I can do." Kota started to splash some water on Shoto's left arm, washing some of the blood and dirt away. "Like that?"
Kyouka pulled out some bandages and started slowly wrapping them around his arm. "I usually only reserve these for Izuku and myself, but I can make an exception since I do owe ya." She finished bandaging his arm before doing her own, using her earphone jack to assist herself. "I don't have any disinfectant on me right now, so you might want to get these changed when all this is over."
Shoto gave her a small smile as he looked at his bandaged-up arm. "Thank you, Jirou. I'm grateful."
"No prob." Kyouka looked at the cut on Katsuki's cheek before pocketing her bandages with no hesitation and flipping him off. "You don't get any."
"Like I'd want your crappy first aid!" Katsuki tried to swat her hand away.
"Jirou, we would've died without his help. Let's be grateful to him. He's our classmate and our friend." Shoto tried to make peace between the two.
"We're not friends!" Both Kyouka and Katsuki shouted at the same time, grinding their teeth while glaring each other down.
Shoto tilted his head. "You two seem like friends to me, with how similar you are."
"I'm nothing like him/her! Stop repeating what I'm saying! Fuck off!"
Kota grabbed Shoto's leg, hiding behind him as he peeked at the two arguing teens. "Those two are scary."
Shoto nodded in agreement. "You got that right."
Kyouka and Katsuki turned their heads away from each other, wanting to ignore the other's presence, before the girl crossed her arms. "Let's just hurry back to camp. I want to confirm this kid's safety with him. Remember to thank him, Kota. Got it?"
"Yeah, I know…" Kota bashfully faced the ground as he and Kyouka started to leisurely make their way back to camp.
"Tough luck then. You're not going to find him there." Katsuki stated nonchalantly as he stretched his arms.
Kyouka stopped dead in her tracks, making Kota stop as well and look up at her with a confused expression.
He's not at camp? But he should be there with all the other failures, right? Him, Sero, Kirishima, Mina, Kaminari, Sato, Mineta, and Kats-
Wait, Katsuki's a failure too. She didn't even question his presence with how many things were going on at the time.
So, if Katsuki's here and Izuku isn't at camp, then that must mean...
"Izuku's in the forest too?!"
A/N
Chapter 61 is done! This is a chapter I already wrote about half of even before posting the last one. And the scene with Muscular's arm blowing off has been written since late last year. Glad to finally have it out now.
But I hope I handled the Muscular fight just fine. I was beating myself up for knowing it would never be as good as Izuku's canon fight. I would like to think what I did was decent with Kyouka, Shoto, and Katsuki.
And sorry if any of you guys were looking forward to a solo match between Kyouka and Muscular. But I'll be honest, without her gear, she would get absolutely murdered. Even with her gear, I doubt she'd stand much of a chance without any support.
But don't worry, Kyouka will have her solo matches one day and against very strong opponents. That's a promise.
Next chapter will get to look at more of the students, starting a few fights, maybe finishing them, or just leaving them off in a cliffhanger. Because I may have this arc planned out, but not the pacing!
Time for the reviews!
TOPCAT-59: I spent way too much time exploring that game for collectibles even before I had the abilities that allowed me to get them. Bit it was all worth it.
Robin Chwan Fatliyansyah: Time to spin the wheel on what this mystery quirk will be!
WendyMarvel12: At least Shoto did a good job at keeping Kyouka safe. And no Izuku was harmed in the process.
drake wind: Nah, nothing to be worried about. Only a man's arm getting blown off. It's a normal thing to see.
Bucio: Kyouka's vibrations were definitely a little lethal to Muscular. Good thing she didn't plug into his chest or head.
Geraze90: I did consider having Kyouka being a bit meaner to Ochako, but I thought that maybe it would've been too much and I'd feel bad. Also, if it helps, you can imagine her being more muscular.
Ability King KK: Too bad Kyouka absolutely would've died with her level of vibrations…Well, ignoring that one instance in this chapter. I will say that Monoma will definitely have something to do in the future.
redmen6blight: Yanderes are especially dangerous when they can blow off someone's arm.
Migetsu Newgate: Man, reading these reviews anticipating Toga's meeting with Kyouka is making me a bit anxious to introduce her to the story. Hope I can handle that meeting well.
bk201fan: Not the most insane thing I have planned.
Mew-the-Dark-Matter-buster1: Well, thank god Shoto and Katsuki made it in time to save her, right? Or did Katsuki and Shoto save Muscular from her?
Reviews are done!
That'll be all for this chapter! Feel free to leave a review!
