Disclaimer: How many chapters am I on now? Enough said really.
AN: Very sorry this is so late. RL has been...difficult about this
It was really the fault of that rain really.
At least that's what Theodore Nott told himself when his mind wandered back to the man who had captured his heart.
It really was the fault of that rain.
Theo kept telling himself that as he kept taking sneaking, admiring glances at the (admittedly attractive) body of the object of his attraction. If it hadn't been for that damn rain on that damn day, he was certain he would have gone on with his (debatably) happy life and not given him another thought. Except perhaps in annoyance.
It was really the fault of that rain.
If it hadn't been for the rain that day, he would never of noticed how kissable those lips were. And he certainly wouldn't be wishing HE was the one kissing them. It was crazy, it was insane, it was…well utterly stupid really.
It was really the fault of that rain.
Theodore Nott was no idiot. He knew better than to fall in love with a Gryffindor. Everyone knew that Gryffindor's and Slytherin's NEVER fell in love across house lines. If it hadn't been for that damn rain, he was sure that his hormones would have gotten the message and remembered that simple fact.
It was really the fault of that rain.
Falling in love with someone with a girlfriend was NOT a good idea. Because lets be honest, there was absolutely no chance that he would suddenly turn out to be gay under all that. He kissed his girlfriend with real passion, the way Theo wanted him to kiss Theo.
It was really the fault of that damn rain
The rain had been falling thick and fast that day. That oh so crucial day. That day Theo had fallen in love. The day that Theo fell in love with the WRONG wizard. Theo had been running across the courtyard, running for the shelter offered by the hallway ahead. He was in such a rush in fact that he didn't see the person coming the other way until the two of them crashed.
He had meant to give the other person a piece of his mind when suddenly he found himself speechless as he fell hopelessly in love with the one person he could never have. Harry Potter made his apologies and left and Theo tried to remove Harry's face from his mind. (And failing. Hard.)
It was really the fault of that rain.
