AN: Okay, this one's being a bit difficult.
Astoria was considered by many to be…an off putting sight. A reminder of the war to many and an uncomfortable reminder of the abuses of the war. Astoria herself was almost ashamed of it herself in fact, a permanent marking on her face.
A long, vivid scar.
It was something she had never expected, a wound that would never fully heal across the centre of her face. She was lucky not to have lost an eye really and all she did was try and stand up for some poor first year who was struggling with something dark curse or another.
But Ginny, Ginny was different.
Ginny actually liked her scar, made her feel like she was alive once more, that it wasn't something to be ashamed of.
And it was Ginny she fell in love with as she helped the younger woman come out of her shell.
