"Chapter 4: Challenge 1- The Race"
"Everyone, WAKE UP."
*Chris screamed while blowing his blow horn at the 12 contestants that were all on the ground unconscious. Chris folded his arms and waited until they all began to wake up, slowly but surely. The first person to wake up was Zoey, and then it was Xian. God knows how she woke up before anyone else, but Chris just shrugged it off. Seeing that 2 people were awake meant that he could finally start.*
"Ah- Good to see you two finally awake! Now, let me explain to you two quickly. You're probably wondering how in the world I managed to be in the helicopter, then the ship. Simple. It took 3 weeks to get you all here. That's right, Zoey, your team has been out the longest, then Ellis' team, then your team Xian. Now, before the others wake up, Let me tell you something real quick. The first challenge is about to begin. It's a race! As you can see, you're on a beach. You must make it around the island to the campsite that is about 10 miles away! First team to arrive gets to pick where they stay AND they get invincibility. The losing teams must pick someone from each team to go against eachother in a death round to see who leaves, dies, and stays! Now, let the challenge begin!"
*And before Zoey or Xian could possibly say one word to Chris, he hopped in his helicopter and flew away. Zoey glanced at Xian and shoved her back to the ground. She quickly ran over to Francis, slapping him in the face, waking him up.*
"WHAT THE!?"
*Zoey slapped him again and then helped him up.*
"HURRY! WAKE UP BILL AND LOUIS! WE HAVE GOT TO GET TO THE CAMP!"
*Zoey screamed in hopes that Francis would move his fat ass, which he did. He ran over to Bill and punched him in the face, knocking out a tooth. Bill let out a scream as he woke up. Francis explained to Bill the situation and then all 3 of them ran over to Louis. But for some reason he was not waking up. Zoey face-palmed and sighed.*
"Duh… He overdosed. "
*Zoey explained as she grabbed his arms. She glanced at Francis.*
"CARRY HIM!"
*Francis nodded, picked Louis up, tossed him over his shoulder and began to run with Bill and Zoey. So far, they were in the lead… By this time, Xian recovered and so did Sam B and Coach. Of course Coach was crying on the beach since the last of his chocolate was melted on the beach. Sam B was checking out Purnas body. Xian stumbled over to him and smiled.*
"Wi gote move. Day a heed of we."
*Letting out a long, irritated sigh, Sam B turned to Xian and shook his head since he didn't understand a word she said. He was about to slap her in the face until an attractive brunette caught his attention. It was no other than Zoey. He began to walk towards her but Xian caught his hand and turned her towards him.*
"Who dafauq is that momma!?"
*Sam B asked, turning his gaze back at Zoey whom was now vanishing with her teammates in the forest. That's when Chris's speech came back into his head and he realized that those must be their opponents. Sam B quickly ran over to Purnas body and shook her until she woke up. Purna shot him a death glare, punching him straight in the face, sending him flying back.*
"Don't you ever, EVER, touch me. GOT IT!?"
*Purna raged as she stood up and began to walk towards him with her fists balled up to her side, ready to punch him. But Xian got in the way and threw her hands up in the air.*
"NO FITE! WE NEED MOVE!"
*Xian tried to explain. Purna sighed and shoved her to the side.*
"What the hell is going on?"
*Purna asked Sam B. And before Sam could respond, Coach appeared out of nowhere and gazed Purna in the eyes.*
"It's a race, woman. "
*Purna had no idea what to say, but then Sam interrupted and explained to her what was going on. Purna dashed to Logan, punched him in the face which woke him up and explained to him what was going on. Logan, along with the rest of his team, quickly ran off towards the forest. Coach sighed and walked over to Nick and shook him awake. Nick let out a small groan as he sat up and glanced around. By this time, Ellis and Rochelle were waking up as well. Ellis quickly ran over to Nick and grabbed onto his arm. Nick sighed and shook him off as Coach explained what was going on. Nick's eyes widened as he stood up and glanced at his teammates.*
"LISTEN TEAM, We CANNOT loose. We have to win this. We are getting the nice cabins, the money, and we are going to watch the others beat the hell out of eachother!"
*Nicks team cheered him on. Nick smiled and waved towards them.*
"NOW LETS GO!"
*And with that, Nicks team ran off, shortly behind Purnas team. And Purnas team was a far distance away from Zoey's team. Unfortunately, the only thing that was slowing down their team was Louis… *
"God Dammit, can we not just leave him?"
*Francis asked, wanting to drop Louis in a bush so they could just hurry up and run off without him. Zoey sighed and shook her head.*
"Chris specifically said that we all had to cross the finish line. As a team. So far, we're ahead of the others…"
*Zoey explained to Francis. Bill was behind them becoming paranoid, holding a stick for protection. Everytime he would see a butterfly, he would beat it to death with the stick. Francis would glance back at him and constantly shake his head. He then glanced in the sky to realize that it was becoming dark out.*
"Shit… We are going to have to find shelter soon…"
*Francis said, scratching his head and accidently dropping Louis. Louis's body fell to the ground and he began to shake all over, then he had a seizure. Their whole team just glanced down at his body with blank expressions on their faces. Zoey sighed and Bill poked his body with the stick.*
"Well shit…"
*Francis sighed. But while that was going on, something could be heard in the distance. It sounded like a child who had all his teeth knocked out whom was speaking to a black male who obviously couldn't rap since that was what he was trying to do. It was Purnas team. They were shortly behind Zoeys team now thanks to Louis…*
"I can hear them…"
*Purna smirked as she raised her knife that was in her boot. Sam B saw the knife. His eyes widened as he tackled Purna to the ground, grabbing the knife and throwing it down a hill. Purna shot a glare out of hell to Sam B while he was ontop of her. It seemed like her eyes were on fire from rage.*
"Oh Sam…."
*Purna whispered evily. Sam froze and began to shiver in fear. *
"I-I.. I-.. I'm s-so sorry…"
*Sam said shakily. Purna just smirked and rolled ontop of him. She brought her hands to his neck and began to choke him.*
"DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN YOU STUPID PERVERT. NEXT TIME YOU TOUCH ME I WILL RIP YOUR HANDS OFF OF YOUR ARMS AND MAKE YOU EAT THEM, GOT IT!?"
*Purna screamed so loud that it echoed through the forest. Obviously that meant that both Nick and Zoeys team could hear it. Nick smiled since it meant that he was close to passing their team, and Zoey had a worried expression on her face. That meant that they were close to them. She quickly grabbed Louis by the arms and began to drag him.*
"We need to go- NOW!"
*Zoey screamed loudly as she began to drag Louis, but she tripped over a stump, rolled backwards down a hill and landed in a swamp.*
"ZOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! MY GRANDDAUGHTER!"
*Bill screamed as he rolled down the hill to achieve Zoey who was NOT his granddaughter; he was just crazy… Zoey let out a gasp as she pulled herself out of the water. Bill grabbed her hand and pulled her out. Zoey shoved him to the ground and dusted off her hands.*
"We need to…"
*Before Zoey could finish her sentence, She noticed a woman whom was wearing a purple dress, along with 3 MEN, pass Louis and Francis ontop. Zoey's eyes widened as she began to try and climb up the hill.*
"FRANCIS! DON'T LET THEM PASS!"
*Zoey screamed in hopes that Francis would do something to prevent them from going any further. Francis glared at Zoey then shrugged. He noticed the last person, Xian, and put his foot out. She tripped over it and fell off the hill and rolled into the swamp. Francis began to laugh loudly but then Purna punched him in the face.*
"DON'T WORRY XIAN, I'LL COME GET YOU!"
*Purna screamed as she ran down the hill and waited at the edge of the swamp for Xian to come back up. Sam B was glaring at Francis and Francis back at him. They were having a stare down as Logan stood there like an idiot, glancing down at Louis who was now waking up. Zoey and Bill just watched Purna. They then began to climb up the hill together to reach Francis and Louis so they could beat Purnas team… Purna saw them and shook her head.*
"OH NO YOU DON'T!"
*Purna grabbed Zoey by the pony tail and pulled her back, slamming her into the ground. Purna smiled as she pulled up her fist and was about to punch Zoey but Bill let out a loud gasp.*
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
*Bill jumped down and landed on Purna. He then began to claw at Purna like a cat while Purna let out screams of shock more than pain.*
"GET THIS THING OFF OF ME!"
*Purna screamed desperately. Logan heard this and gasped. He picked up a stone and aimed it to hit Bill. By this time, Xian finally reached the shore of the swamp. But Logan didn't see and threw the rock, totally missing Purna and hitting Xian in the face, sending her back into the swamp. Zoey saw what Logan did and smiled.*
"Thanks dude! Now Bill, let's go!"
*Zoey screamed hoping that Bill would get off of Purna so that they could get the hell out of there already… And while the events were playing out, Nicks team finally caught up. He stopped his team and turned to them before anyone could spot them.*
"We have to stay quiet. We can easily sneak past them…"
*Nick tried to explain but then he realized that somebody was missing… Rochelle… All 3 of them glanced around looking for Rochelle, then Ellis pointed in a direction.*
"Ah fuck man, she's behind that man…."
*Ellis said, talking about Logan. Rochelle was breathing heavily down Logan's back with her hands slowly extending to his lower region… Logan slowly turned around and let out a loud scream. Everyone stopped what they were doing to see Logan now up in a tree while Rochelle was clawing at the bottom of the tree, moaning and groaning away. Ellis quickly ran out in the open, grabbed Rochelle's arm and drug her away. Then Nick followed, then Coach, wheezing since he was clearly out of shape. Purna, Zoey, and the rest of them were frozen in shock and confusion. Zoey slowly turned to Purna who was still on the ground with Bill ontop of her and smiled. Purna was still glancing at Logan whom was in a tree. Zoey grabbed a stick and swung it at Purna, hitting her in the head, knocking her out. Zoey tossed the stick in the swamp that hit Xian who was almost out of the swamp again, knocking her right back in the swamp. She grabbed Bills hand and drug him up the hill. She then shoved Francis out of her way and fluttered her eyelashes at Sam. Sam blushed and stepped aside.*
"Thank-You, cutie."
*Zoey winked as she grabbed Louis's hand since he was awake now but very woozy. She led him out of the area and soon they began to run to catch up with Nicks team…*
