Chapter 6: Madoka's Story

Homura stared at Ren unsure about what the girl, Sumika, had said.

Sumika figured out that apparently that Ren's powers, which were time based, must have brought them back and with that she had also let it slip that Ren's last name was Akemi.

Homura wasn't an idiot. She had put it together rather quickly that Ren must be her daughter, though she did find it a little impossible, if she needed any more proof Sumika, being the babbler and worry wart she was had also revealed that she was fearful for Keiko and Ren's twin, Madoka.

The ex-time traveler noticed that the girl was struggling to breath. And her soul gem was growing darker and darker. Homura pulled out some grief cubes determine to use them when a voice whisper, "No, Homura."

Eyes going wide Homura turned to look as a familiar form appeared in the room, "Ma-Madoka?"

Madoka Kaname nodded as she went over to the girl and pushed her hair out of her hair, "I see you've meet Ren. She's a good girl. Stubborn like you and is always trying to protect her little sister Madoka."

Homura wanted to go up and hug Madoka so back but resisted and asked instead, "Who is that girl? Who is Ren Akemi?"

The goddess of hope glanced over at the ex-time traveler, "She's your daughter. She's also my daughter. I made her and Madoka as a gift to you, I had hoped that would stop the older you from only being focused on hunting wraiths. That you would have more to live for. It worked for a while. But you still ended up dying when the twins were 8. Ren took it the hardest."

The magical girl stared at Ren, at her daughter, in shocked as her breathing grew shallower and shallower.

Madoka smiled sadly at Homura, "Her wish was to be able to see you, whenever she wanted. That's why she was able to come back and visit you. But her time is up."

Homura felt tears in her eyes, "wha- no."

Ren opened her eyes a little as she felt a warm hand touching hers. She stared as a smiling pinked haired woman grabbed hold of her hand.

The pink haired woman ran her fingers along Ren's soul gem as it suddenly disappeared, "Ready to go, Ren?"

The white haired girl looked at the woman as a familiar warm feeling washed over her, "Mama?"

Keiko Ikari swirled her guns into her hostels as Madoka Akemi sighed. Keiko gave one final kick making sure Yui was dead.

"Thank goodness," Madoka relaxed as Keiko grew concerned.

Ren and Sumika had said they would take care of this. Where were they?

At that moment as suddenly a crying Sumika Higurashi appeared suddenly from a pink and purple light.

"Sumi?" Madoka asked confused, "Where's Ren?"

Sumika cried harder.
