Shade: Yes.
Me: Yay!
Shade: Just answer 'em.
Me: Fine..
Thunder: That's done.
Me: Yes. Now, let's begin our story. XD.

Chapter 3
The egg shook again, showing the Gatomon that it was ready to hatch. Snowflake sat the orange-and-white stripped egg onto the green grass, and watched it, waiting to see what sort of Digimon was about to be born.
The egg shook more now, as it began to glow white. It was dim at first, but the faster it shook, the stronger the light became. It got so bright, that the Digi-kitty had to cover her eyes, and wait for it to calm down again.
The egg began to crack, as more light shined from it, and the cat Digimon stumbled back, surprised at how bright this thing could get. The crack got larger, till at least, it hatched.
Snowflake un-covered her bright blue eyes, once the light had disappeared. She looked down and saw a little Digimon before her. It was small, very small, with snow-white fur, two small round ears, and two small little black eyes, that stared up at the cat Digimon. She smiled and crouched down, so she was eye-level with the little Digimon.
"Hello there!" she greeted.
The little ball of fur squeaked, and hid behind a tree, peeking out at the cat, thinking it was going to attack her, or worse, eat her! The Gatomon purred in amusement at the little one, and slowly padded over to her, so she couldn't scare her even more.
"Don't be scared. I won't hurt you. Come on out."
Her voice was small, quiet, and gentle. It calmed the new born down. She slowly hopped out from behind the tree, and over to the cat-like Digimon. Snowflake purred down at the small Digimon.
"See? You can trust me."
"Are you my Mommy?" the small voice squeaked. The voice was female, so the cat Digimon knew right off the bat when it spoke that the Snowbatomon was a female.
The older Digimon frowned. She didn't want to lie to the little puff ball, but she didn't want her to think that her real mother just left her all alone in the Digital World. So, she made up her mind that she would play mother, at least for the time being, till she was old enough to know and understand the truth.
"Yes little one. I'm your mother. My name is Snowflake, but you can call me whatever you like."
"Do I have a name like that?" Snowbatomon asked, looking up at her 'mother' with large black eyes.
"Your name is Snowbatomon, but I can give you a name like mine if you wish."
The little white ball of fur bounced up and down happily. "Yes, please!"
Snowflake smiled and sat down, putting one gloved paw under her chin as she thought of a name for the little Digimon. After what seemed like hours, maybe years of waiting, she stood up, a smile on her face.
"I know just the name for you!"
"What?" Snowbatomon asked, her black eyes wide in wonder.
"Your name will be Korikaji. It means 'icefire" in Japanese."
The newly named Korikaji, jumped up and down happily. "I love it! One thing though."
"Yes?"
"Can we shorten it to just Kori? Like my full name will be that, but Kori for short?"
"If that's what you want."
"Yay!"
Snowflake chuckled once again. "Come on. Let's go back to the village."
"Village?"
"Yes. It's where we live at."
"Oh.. Okay!"
"Come on then."
Snowflake stood up, and began to head back to the village. The newly named Kori followed after her, wondering what all sorts of news things could be there.
Little did they know, a pair of eyes were watching them from the shadows. It disappeared once it saw them go off.

Meanwhile, in a castle far, far away, Wolfmon was making his way to the castle. He pushed open the large black doors, and stepped inside, the doors closing behind him, leaving him alone in the darkness. He gulped and began to slowly and carefully make his way to where he needed to go.
I hope the master won't be too mad at me...
Wolfmon made his way to a rather large room. The hall way was made of gray stone, and the walls were lit up by the fire, giving him some light to see where he was going. He made his way to a door that was as black as the night sky. He cleared his throat and knocked.
"Enter," a voice said.
Pushing open the door, he walked inside and over towards the large throne that sat in the middle of the room. He bowed low to the ground, waiting to see what his master would do or say.
"What is the news, Wolfmon? Have you captured the egg yet?"
"N-no, Master. I haven't.. The egg, it appears to have hatched. The Digimon is a Snowbatomon. Now that it is born, I'm sure I can capture it!"
"Ha! Don't make me laugh, Wolfmon! You couldn't even catch the child when it was still a helpless egg. I doubt you'd be able to capture it now."
He turned around to see the owner of the voice. Said owner was a Black Gatomon. The Digi-kitty had black as night fur with dark red ear-tips, stripes on his tail, tail-tip, blood red gloves with amber colored eyes.
"Shadow!" Wolfmon growled at the cat. "You know that isn't true!"
He laughed at that, tail flicking to one side. "You know as well as I do that's a lie. You won't be able to bring Master that Digimon. Nightshade and I will."
The wolf like Digimon snarled, his lips drawn back, showing his white fangs. "I'll show you, cat!"
"That's enough!" their master boomed, making both cat and wolf flinch, and look towards the throne. "Shadow, what do you have to report?"
Shadow walked forward a bit, and bowed before his master. "Nightshade and I have been spying on the egg as you asked of us. As Wolfmon said, the egg did hatch as a Snowbatomon. She is heading to a village with a Gatomon named Snowflake. The Gatomon named the child Kori. Nightshade is still out watching, waiting orders."
"Go and get that child as soon as you can. The easier we have her, the easier t'll be to turn her to our side."
"Of course," the Black Gatomon replied. "We'll have her before you know it."
"See that you do. Now go. Both of you."
Both Shadow and Wolfmon nodded, bowing once again to their master before they headed off. Their master chuckled as it watched them go.
"Soon little one, soon you will be mine, and then there will be no one that can stop me from taking over the Digital World!"
