Family!

Here is an update and I hope you all like. Enjoy!

I came in on Christmas day to spend time with Sesshomaru and Akira. I got started on breakfast when I heard a giggling Akira. I turned around to see Sesshomaru carrying him on his shoulder. I smiled and then went back to cooking. I was fixing their favorite breakfast and as I plated Akira's I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist. "Good Morning." I said to Sesshomaru as he kissed my cheek. "Morning." He said and then took the plate from me and gave it to Akira.

"Tank you!" Akira said loudly. I turned around and smiled. "Your welcome." I said and then plated Sesshomaru's. I gave Sesshomaru his plate and then plated my own. We weren't going to have a big breakfast because I had to cook the Christmas meal. Sesshomaru insisted I cooked and some how I agreed. Akira was telling us how he couldn't wait to open his presents. Sesshomaru and I were smart we bought him the ones from Santa and we bought him some from us and then we bought extra so he could open some when his Grandparents and Uncle and Aunt got here.

As we finished our breakfast Akira ran to the Christmas tree. Sesshomaru followed him and I took the chore of putting the dishes in the dishwasher. I closed the door and then took a breath and smiled as I played with bracelet that Sesshomaru got me after returning home from his brothers wedding. I was so shocked when I found it in his office while cleaning. An with the following months after receiving a gift of some sort showing his affection towards me.

I smiled more and then started my way to the living room and then bumped into Sesshomaru. He wrapped me in his arms and kissed me. "Better get a move on. Akira wants to open his presents." He said to me. I smiled and then we made our way to Akira and his presents. As we made our way I thought about when Sesshomaru first kissed me.

"Lets see a,b,c,d...and e." I said as I filed the boxes. "Rin are you finished?" Sesshomaru asked me, I looked up and smiled. We both got our coats and made our way out. We decided to walk to the restaurant and it was a very nice meal. We talked about things we planed to do this weekend and then we made our way back to the office to get his car.

We made it half way to the office when the rain hit. Sesshomaru didn't see the point in running and so we kept walking and before I knew it he pulled me into his arms and kissed me. We didn't say anything we just stood there staring at each other and then he kissed me again. "Go out with me." He said and all I could do was smile and nod.

I smiled at the memory and then smiled bigger when Akira came running to me with a present in his hands. "Can I open this one first?" He asked us. Sesshomaru nodded and then we went to the couch and watched him. Akira opened the gift and was surprised when it was a photo album. Sesshomaru had asked me to help him make it so Akira could learn about his mother. I smiled when he opened it and then forgot about all his other presents. He had questions for his Dad and Sesshomaru was quick to answer them.

I was happy that he had come so far that he no longer avoids talking about Kagura. From what I have heard he and Kagura were high school sweethearts and in high school they had started to plan their wedding. I always loved stories like that but this story made me both happy and sad because this one didn't have the happy ending Sesshomaru had always thought it would have. He expected to be married to Kagura for the rest of their lives and have more children. But he didn't get either. But I know he was grateful for the one thing he did get and gets to keep.

"Rin, you need to open the gift me and Daddy got you." Akira said to me as he got off Sesshomaru's lap and ran to the tree and grabbed a present. I smiled when I noticed that Sesshomaru let Akira wrap it up. I took the gift that he held out for me and smiled and gave him a kiss. "Thank you." I said as I started to open the gift.

Akira put his hands on my knees and waited for me to see what him and Sesshomaru got me. Once I finished un-wraping it I stayed silent. I wasn't sure what it meant. Akira giggled and I raised an eyebrow. "Will you...I'm confused." I said. Sesshomaru chuckled and then nodded to Akira. He smiled like his father did and then flipped the shirt over in my hands and then pointed to what it said on the back. I then for the next few seconds flipped the shirt over and over and then Akira spoke out loud. "Will you...be my Mommy?" He asked me.

I put the shirt down and then couldn't stop the smile forming on my face. "Please?" He asked me again. I picked him up and then kissed him on the cheek. "YAY!" He screamed and then hugged me. I hugged him back and then he cupped my face and then made me face his Dad. There I seen Sesshomaru down on one knee holding a ring in his hand. Akira took the moment to look between his Dad and I. He then just stared at me. "We're a packaged deal, Mommy." He said and I couldn't stop from laughing. "Well I guess my answer will be yes." I said and watched Sesshomaru put the ring on my finger.

This is one Christmas I could never forget and never want too. Akira was a happy boy and so was his father. And I could never forget with the way Sesshomaru and Inuyasha acted. Akira enjoyed his Uncle and his Aunt. He got so excited when they brought him presents and even more excited when he got to give them presents. Akira said he enjoyed giving presents more then receiving them. But Sesshomaru believes that because just a week ago both of them joined me in giving the children at the orphanage Christmas gifts.

This was truly the best Christmas I had ever had. I was in the kitchen putting things away when Sesshomaru walked in. "Rin are you ready to go? My parents agreed to watch Akira while we go to the cemetery." I nodded and then finished in the kitchen. Akira wanted to come with us but he didn't push to much due to his Uncle agreeing to watch a movie with him. We made our way to the car and got in.

The cemetery was fifteen minutes away. There was silents in the car and when we pulled into the lane the car came to a stop and spooked me. Sesshomaru took my hand in his and then kissed it. I nodded and we both got out. Sesshomaru grabbed the flowers from the back seat and then came to my side. We took the sidewalk that was in front of us and after about two minutes came to a stop where my parents and brothers were buried.

Sesshomaru handed me to the flowers and I placed them on the graves. This wasn't the first time we made this trip together. Akira came with us a couple time and when he discovered it was my family he told me sorry and then he started to talk to them. It made me happy to see that even a child wasn't afraid to speak to those who have been lost. In fact the last time we made the trip he said hello to every tomb he seen as we entered and then said goodbye when we left.

Sesshomaru held me tight as I just stood and stared at my family. After what felt like forever he kissed my cheek. "Let's go home." He said and I nodded. "Bye. I see you again soon." I said to them and then we made our way back to the car. "Thank you." I said as I hugged Sesshomaru arm. "Your welcome." He said and then opened the car door for me. I got in and waited for him to get in as well for us to go back him.

Epilogue – Sesshomaru's P.O.V

I rolled over in bed and look to find that my wife was once again not in bed when I woke up. I growled in frustration and then got up to find her. Knowing her, she would be in the kitchen. When I entered it I was correct and sighed. She turned around and smiled at me. "I got thirst and wanted to make tea." She said to me as she turned the stove off to stop the kettle from whistling.

I walked over to her and kissed he deeply and then ran my hands down her stomach. She giggle at the feeling and then kissed me again. "Akira will be awake soon and you know how he feels when his Dad kisses me." She said as she wrapped her arms around me. I sighed as I knew she spoke the truth. My now eight year old son gagged every time he seen me kiss his mom. "What is your brother going to do when he learns where babies come from?" I asked my unborn child.

Ring giggled every time I talked to the baby. She also giggled every time Akira tries to name the baby. It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't trying to name them after his favorite snack food. "Where do babies come from?" A small voice asked me and I stood up and both Rin and I looked to find a very tired looking Akira standing in the door way. "Daddy?" He asked for me. I sighed and picked him up. "Akira are you hungry?" I asked him hoping he would forget and think about the new question. He nodded and I thought for a moment. "If you get dressed we can go out to eat." I said and before I knew it he was out of my arms and running to get dressed.

Rin kissed my cheek and smiled. "That was close Daddy. Give him a couple years and he will ask you again." She said to me and then made her way upstairs as well with her cup of tea. I sighed knowing she was right and followed her to get ready to go out to eat. "Between a pregnant wife and eight year old I am gonna die sooner then is expected of me." I said as I dragged myself up the stairs to the raging hormone woman and a very hyper child.

The end! That's it. And thank you for all those of you who have stuck with the story. I am sorry it took long to update but at least it wasn't over a month. YAY!
