"This is boring!" Mashiro complained while Kensei ignored her.

"When do we get to fight!" She moaned.

"Will you shut up! Your annoying ass voice isn't helping the situation. We are here to intervene if these Red Dragon assholes attack. Right now it's just surveillance" He said gruffly.

"I'm tired of surveillance! I hate it!" She huffed.

"Well that's too bad ya damn brat cuz it's the mission! Now shut the hell up!" Kensei yelled at the top of his lungs. Several sets of eyes focused on them.

"Oooooh you blew our cover." Mashiro teased. "Guess we get to leave." She said as she started to walk off.

"Oh no you don't! We have to be here to fight off the gang!" Kensei yelled.

"Pssh! Chad and Ichigo can handle some punk gang. I'm outta here." She said with a wink as she ran off knowing Kensei can't keep up with her.

"Get back here you bitch!" He yelled running after her.

Twenty minutes later, school was out and everyone was splitting up. Kazuko watched from behind a tree as Love and Chad kissed goodbye.

"I'll see you after work Tora!" Love yelled as she walked away. Chad nodded and smiled at her.

"Have fun at band practice!" She smiled. Kazuko scowled at Chad as he turned to Hoshi.

"Alright Hoshi tell those goons to get him after band practice. I'll watch from a far."

"Alright boss but I can't stick around after." Hoshi said nervously.

"Yeah yeah go get your sister." Kazuko frowned as he watched Love walk off. "Just hurry up." He finished before he started to follow Chad.

Love walked to the bakery that she and Orihime worked at part time. Orihime was off today but that was ok because Love liked the other girls that worked there too. As she walked up to the building she saw a lot of caution tape and the owner was sitting on the front steps.

"Yamada-sama? What happened?" She asked.

"Love-chan I'm sorry I couldn't call and tell you before hand. We have mold. I'm afraid we're gonna be closed for a week or two." He said somberly.

"Oh no. It's okay Yamada-sama. I understand." Love replied cheerfully.

"Such a sweet girl." He smiled. "Are you sure you won't be put out missing two weeks pay?" He asked.

"I'm positive sir. I have plenty of emergency savings." She smiled.

"Well thank goodness. I wouldn't want to give you girls a hard time.

"It's no trouble." she smiled as she walked off. Well at least I can watch Tora practice. She thought.

Chad was walking to band practice with his headphones on. Love saw him and called his name. He couldn't hear her and kept walking.

"Hey!" Love stomped, and was still not heard. Getting a glint in her eye she took a running start and jumped onto his back.

"Gahh!" Chad yelled surprised as he fell to the ground. He looked behind him and saw Love smiling sheepishly.

"Is there a reason why you tackled me to the ground Love?" Chad asked with and eyebrow raised.

"I was calling you and you couldn't hear me." She pouted.

"You've never heard of a tap on the shoulder?" He smiled. Love shrugged and got off of him so that he could get up.

"Why aren't you at work?" He asked as he got up and dusted off his clothes.

"We have mold. So i'm off for a couple weeks." She smiled.

"So you came to watch me play?" He smiled. Love nodded and gave him a hug, burrowing her head into his chest. Chad smiled and hugged her back resting his chin on her head.

"Well we should get going then huh?" Chad said. Love nodded and looked up at him. Chad smiled and gave her a kiss, pulling her hand into his as they started walking to his band practice.

"Oh no! What is she doing here?!" Kazuko panicked. "Shit!" He whispered as he pulled out his cell phone and dialed Hoshi.

(In a playground in downtown Karakura.)

"Higher Hoshi higher!" His little sister screamed excitedly on the swings.

"Ok Kiyomi!" Hoshi smiled as he pushed her higher and higher, not hearing his cell phone that was in his backpack.

"Dammit Hoshi pick up!" Kazuko said desperately. "Fuck!" He said nervously. "Okay they won't attack until after band practice right?" He tried to reassure himself. "That's at least another hour or two." He said to himself as he started to sweat. He kept following the pair watching as they chatted.

"Yo are you Chad?" Chad and Love turned around looking at the heavily tattooed and peirced man.

"Yes I am." Chad answered as he pushed Love behind him.

"It's him!" Raiden yelled as his gang came up behind him.

"I don't know what you want, but we're going to leave now." Chad said as he pulled Love along with him.

"Your not going any where asshole!" Raiden yelled as they charged Chad and Love. Chad quickly pushed Love to the ground and punched the leader in the face knocking him out cold. Three of the gang members jumped onto him trying to knock him down but ended up on their asses as Chad dropped all of his weight on them. Chad punched out two and was about to punch a third when someone yelled.

"ENOUGH!" Chad looked up and saw that one of them had Love with a knife to her throat. Chad let the other guy go and stood up.

"Let her go." Chad said firmly as he moved towards them.

"Don't move or i'll-AHHH!" the boy yelled as Love stomped on his foot and scurrried away. Chad quickly punched out the other guy and charged at the one with the knife. Chad swung and hit, knocking the guy out.

"Love you okay?"

"Tora! Your side!" Love stared at him panicked. Chad looked down and saw a knife handle sticking out of him.

"Oh." He said before collapsing to the ground.

"Tora!" Love yelled before going to him.

"Tora please wake up!" She begged as she pulled out her cell phone.

"It's dead! Oh God! Help! Please somebody help me!" Love screamed as tears ran down her face. Kazuko heart was breaking as he watched Love cry. He ran to her without thinking.

"Are you okay?" He asked Love.

"Please help me! We were attacked! I need an ambulance!" Love cried. Kazuko pulled out his phone and dialed 911.

"The ambulance is on the way." He said as he knelt down next to her. "Are you hurt?"

"No. Just my boyfriend." She cried. "You go to Karakura?" She asked as she noticed his school uniform.

"Uh yeah. " He stuttered as the ambulance pulled up.

"My boyfriend has been stabbed!" Love cried to the emt's. They quickly loaded him into the ambulance and called back up for the Red Dragons. As Love climbed into the ambulance she looked at Kazuko with tears in her eyes.

"Thank you." She said before the doors were shut and they sped off as 4 other ambulances were coming.

Kazuko stood there blushing as they rode away, and quickly ran when he saw ambulances and police cars coming.

At the hospital...

Love ran along side the emt's as they wheeled Chad into the ER.

"That's as far as you can come miss." The doctor's said as they took Chad in.

"Please be okay Tora." Love whispered.
