Matt's POV
I brought Jayma to her trailer and I made my way to my own.
Jane was there, I asked her to come because I needed her help, she didn't know why and I was terrified to ask her.
"Matt, you're late. You told me to be here at nine." she says greeting me at the doorway.
"Sorry, it took forever for Jay to pick her shoes." I laugh and she does too.
"So what is so urgent that you needed to text me at eleven o clock in the evening to tell me to come here at nine." she says furrowing his brows.
"I need you to help me pick a ring." I say.
"A ring? And engagement ring?" she gasps. And I nod.
"I wanted to have it with me, I'm not going to propose tomorrow or the day after that." I say serious. "I just want it to be with me when I feel like it's the right time." I tell her and he nods.
"Yeah I think you'll have to propose to her sooner or later."
"But I want to get it cleared out first. I want the media to find out that Jayma and I are a couple before I make my next move." I tell her. "But I don't think I could wait a year to propose. It's eating me up."
"Yeah, okay," she nods. "so you want me to help you buy a ring?"
"Yes, I'm not a girl and I don't know what girls want." I tell her.
"I think you should ask Lea, I'm not really good at these things either." she says.
"Can you maybe, ask her for me? I'm going to be with Jayma to dub almost the whole day, there are lots of scenes for us this time." I bite my lip. "But I wanted to do the ring shopping today, lunch break? Maybe you could distract her for me?"
"Yeah of course." she nods. "Good luck Matt, she'll make an amazing bride for you."
I laugh nervously. "I'm still a bit scared though."
"Why would you be scared? You could ask her to marry you right now and I'm sure she'd say yes." she chuckles.
"Cause it's Jayma, everything has to be perfect for her. Everything has to be amazing." I make this hand gesture that even I laugh at.
"She'll say yes don't worry." she says reassuringly.
I hear a knock on the door.
I rush to open it and find Jayma on the other side of the door. I mentally wish she did not hear what Jane and I were talking about.
"Matt, they need us on set sweetie." she says in her accent that I couldn't seem to get off my mind. "Jane!" she enters my trailer as she sees Jane inside. She goes in to hug her.
"What are you doing here?" Jayma asks.
"Just asked Matt to help practice lines with me." she lies but she made it sound like she wasn't.
I see Jayma smile. "Can I excuse Matt? Brad won't be very pleased if we're late." she tells the taller girl.
"Yeah of course, we just finished." she smirks back and Jayma makes her way back to me.
"Come on sweetheart," she says holding my hand in hers.
"Yes Jay." he says following me to the studios.

Lunch break finally came and it was time. I received Jane's text that says that Lea's going to meet me in the shop at lunch time.
I was getting excited. Very excited.
And as planned Dianna and Amber came and asked Jayma to have lunch with them.
"Matt, is it okay?" she asks me. I smile sweetly at her, trying to hide that I knew about it.
"Of course Jay, I have you with me at home." I say walking towards the other direction, pretending to look miserable.
I turn back and I see her mouthing me a 'sorry I'll make it up to you at home' and she smiles at me.
When she's out of sight I almost run to my car to go to the store that Lea had told me she would be at.
"This is really happening." I say a loud as I get inside the car. This was just a dream to me almost a year ago, a dream I never thought would happen but very happy that it is now coming true.
I drive and when I get there I see Lea waving at me from the outside of the store, she has Cory with her. I smile at hem as I get down from the car.
"Matt," Cory says patting my back. Lea comes and gives me a hug.
We enter the shop and I see the assortment of jewelry.
This was going to be a really hard job.
The three of us get out happy of the ring I had just bought.
It was the most beautiful ring I saw in that whole store and it reflected everything that Jayma is. There is a huge diamond in the middle, not too big but not too small either. It looked perfect, it felt perfect.
"Lea, Cory, thank you so, so much for helping me, God knows what I'd do if you two weren't there with me." I say sighing.
"It was a pleasure." Lea answers.
"Just make sure you tell your kids that Lea and I helped get Jayma's engagement ring." Cory says.
I laugh and soon both of them do so as well.
"Are you guys going back to Paramount now?" I ask them.
"I'm bringing my girl out." Cory says kissing Lea's cheek. I smile at their affection.
"I should be going, Jay might find out I'm not there." I wink and I get in the car and I start driving.
I get there and everything seemed pretty calm. I make my way to my trailer not thinking about what I'm supposed to have for lunch.
I would be lying if I said that I expected food in my doorstep. But there it was, food in my doorstep.
It was a sandwich and there was a brown bag that I didn't know the contents of.
It must be from Jayma...
There was a sticky note attached to it. It says ''I'm sorry, I know you love having lunch with me and it's been two days in a row since we haven't ate together :( I asked Jane to give this to you (well of course you know she gave this to you, you were there,) so that you don't have to leave to get some lunch. Look inside the bag, I'm sure you'll like it ;-)"
I laugh at her little note, I read it in my mind as how I think she'd say it and though it was just a note she is still as adorable as ever.
I finish my sandwich inside my trailer, watching some movie. I wanted to eat something more.
Oh, the bag! What is in the bag?
I congratulated myself for waiting this long to open the bag. As I do I see another note.
When did she have the time to make all of these notes?
"This was supposed to be a surprise, my parents came over to set this morning and handed me these, there's more with me ;-) Enjoy your meal."
I felt for what was inside and there they were, there were cookies inside. The ones her mom made.
I started to munch on the cookies until they were all but gone. I am going to reward her for this.
I grab the ring from my bag and take a look at it again. It's so beautiful.
All I had to worry about know is how I'd present it to her...
