Credit goes where credits due, and I own none for the characters in this bit of whimsy. All the respect in the world to Rumiko Takahashi and the astounding amount of creativity that went into the masterpiece that is Inuyasha.


Kagome walked into the building with a fluttering stomach and a nervous tug at the sleeve at her wrist. She looked around the extravagant workspace with awe, admiring the clear windows and red oak doors adoning the offices. The floors were the same color wood, parts, mostly beneath desks and by doors, were covered with rich black rugs with tan and red designs on the corners. It was breath taking. The farther she walked into the place, down long hallways whose walls were taken over by shelves stacked to brim with what looked like law encyclopedias and framed art works.
