Credit goes where credits due, and I own none for the characters in this bit of whimsy. All the respect in the world to Rumiko Takahashi and the astounding amount of creativity that went into the masterpiece that is Inuyasha.


Rin saw. "Don't worry," she amended herself, "He's not as scary as he seems. And he's not as hard on girls as he is on guys. He's still pretty rough, but I promise he'll be on his best behavior."

Kagome nodded, giving the little woman a smile as she made her way from behind the desk to the door, beckoning Kagome to follow. She did, tilting her head a bit to get a peek through one of the little windows on the either side of the door. She couldn't get a good look at the mystery boss, but the mailman who had gone in there earlier was in plain view.

He was shaking.
