Credit goes where credits due, and I own none for the characters in this bit of whimsy. All the respect in the world to Rumiko Takahashi and the astounding amount of creativity that went into the masterpiece that is Inuyasha.

Kagome looked over her shoulder once before entering the room behind Rin. There was a near physical tension looming in the air, she noted, watching the poor mail boy fumble over his letters. "I-I'm sorry. I'm always getting them mixed up, aren't I? Oh boy. I'm so sorry," was the beginning of his never ending streem of apologetic mumblings.

Kagome let her eyes roam to the man responsible for such a nervous boy. Who could have possibly caused such anxiety in only a few short minutes? She vaguelly remembered seeing him before he'd entered. He hadn't seemed stable, but at least he hadn't been so close to tears.
