Credit goes where credits due, and I own none for the characters in this bit of whimsy. All the respect in the world to Rumiko Takahashi and the astounding amount of creativity that went into the masterpiece that is Inuyasha.
The man behind the desk stood, his expression never changing as he walked to Rin and put a hand on her head. Rin, in turn smiled up at him, "I've brought you another one, Jisan."
The mans eyes turned to Kagome, and she made an effort to stand a bit straighter, hold her chin a bit higher. He hummed. "So I see." He turned his eyes back to Rin, and their eyes held a conversation that Kagome wasn't privy to.
Rin's smile grew strict, "Now remember, I like this one. Try not to spoil it, please."
The only response she got came in the form of a, "Hnn."
