Hey folks Lana here, I know it's been a long while…. Sorry.
Done and dusted we heard the call and they answered, I don't know if you're like me and really want a sequel/just something more. Cause that ending definitely did not cry till I couldn't. Sorry *sort of spoiler*. Anyway it gave us something to treasure like the seasons.
This story is a much edited version and slightly different as more will be added in, I cut off quite a bit to rush and submit the story but I'm gonna take my time on this still the same rules apply as you can see down below. One chapter a week etc etc.
So what I'm thinking is one chapter a week, this is short because well I really wanted to thank you all for waiting and following me for future works, as to the others I think they will continue. I lost my stories when my first computer was destroyed and the second is a fiasco in itself, so I'm hoping to please some of you and the fact I really do want to continue on with my stories.
I guess this is a sign off now and hope to see you all back and reading my work again.
Also I've hit 10k views. How? Why? Thank You! Seriously I went in thinking I'd get a few but wow, love you guys for sticking around.
I honestly forgot how much joy I got from writing again, I really hope you all enjoy this story.
Disclaimer:
I definitely do not own Teen Wolf nor would I ever claim to, but I like to think I own Rilessa/Riley/Ri/Snowy/ (yeah she has a lot of nicknames) well the idea of her at least.
Chapter Four-
Hitting the smooth earthen floor grass tickled against the tip of my nose, groaning. I sat up looking about, staring stunned and ahead through the clearing was Aunt Talia's house. Rilessa. Taking a shaky breath I looked to the left where the voice had come from. Vanessa Snow, my mother. Standing in a white sundress looking straight at me, I was up in seconds reaching out.
When my hand went through her waist I stilled mid-step pulling back "Mom?" Her eyes roamed over me as she softly smiled.
"Judging by the fact you're here. I have died. This spell was placed before we were taken out of here. It was to help you remember. Deaton won't remember straight away, tell him who you are and my name. Now you must be here to see the past. Revela praeterita ei". Light shot from her fingertips as she raised them to my forehead blinding my vision for a few seconds.
"What do you mean you have to leave?!" The slam of a book slamming shut Vanessa appeared storming into a room throwing open a purple suitcase. "She can't be here any longer, she needs a coven Peter. She needs to be around others of her kind!" Chucking in as much clothing and items they'd need, knowing someone had to be watching them, Peter stepped in front of her making Vanessa glance up.
"She has her family here too, Vanessa. My sister Talia and Vincent, her cousins Derek, Cora and Laura! She has others of her kind, you can teach her magic. Don't take her away from me." Vanessa had to turn away her back to him as she took a vial from beneath the items she'd thrown onto the bed. "You nor I have a choice in the matter Peter. I'm sorry." She turned around blowing the purple dust into Peter's face, a lone tear falling as she went over to him chanting words so quiet no one could hear.
"They'll kill you all to get her. If I do this, you won't have to die." She held an amulet placing it over his head so it rested against his chest invisible to anyone else. It had been her gift in her magical upbringing, an ability to put cloaking spells over objects. It took a lot of magic and part of her life line infused into the object as it was made. Certain abilities witches born into the Snow bloodline possessed not every person's ability was the same.
"I loved you Peter but it's too late. Maybe in another life we'll be together again." Her left hand resting against his warm cheek the others had already been put under the memory spell, picking up her asleep daughter near the front door Vanessa took one look back at the household members of the pack unconscious, even Talia Hale were situated about the home.
The light faded away as I took a shaky breath. Mom had disappeared. I wasn't in a forest, I was in a room smelling strongly of chemicals shouting, sounded out in the background, feeling the magic as "Isaac where are you!" was screamed out getting off the table I'd been laying on. I ran towards the voices finding my cousin and Scott (remembering the veterinarian had called the boy with short black hair) holding down Isaac in water Derek had been the one that shouted at him.
Raising my hands I forced the air around the room forward, knocking Derek and Scott back. Dad came forward but I ignored him as I came to the head of the bath feeling the coolness before immersing my hands to rest against Isaac's shoulders. He stopped swinging his hands. I was bleeding but I refused to focus on it knowing something would happen to Isaac "focus on me Isaac, ignore everyone else you hear." His right hand gripped around my left forearm over the imprint that had appeared. His claws came out piercing into my skin making me gasp as my wolf came out.
Grey fur broke through my flesh before I could say the mantra, no! I can't shift. Not now. Isaac would be hurt.
It was like a light switched on inside of my mind, the grey fur that had been coming through began to recede. Isaac.
"It's okay. Isaac think of what happened. Okay? Just think, show me what they sealed away, I'll be your anchor to keep you from slipping out of control. Just focus on me and my voice." Gasping as my eyes flared to life, images were flickering through my mind, it felt like seconds but really it was minutes that had gone by, coming back to the room Isaac claws had reverted back to his regular fingernails.
He was coming out from the lucid state, his wide scared blue eyes looking up into my regular brown coloured eyes "what happened? You're awake." My lips hollowly lifted into a ghost of a smile as he pushed up out of the ice bath, there were three people and a body.
"You saw them, didn't you." Derek had moved to my right side. I slowly turned my head to meet his red Alpha eyes.
Excess magic leaked out sending the ice bath to its side spilling the ice filled water, "shit. Deaton. You wanted to know who I was before, if they didn't already tell you my mother was Vanessa Snow and my father is Peter Hale. They named me Rilessa Hale but I've been going as Riley Snow. Mom said you'd remember her and I once told my name it won't be straight away but you'd begin to." Deaton the dark skinned man stared at me still and at a loss for words though the silence had been filled when the human said what the f*** just happened?
"Vanessa. She's dead isn't she?" Dad had asked the question that hurt to answer let alone remember.
"After the full moon. I'll tell you what happened and why I now have blue eyes. Right now we need to work out a way to get Derek's pack. I saw the building in Isaac's mind." Walking out the room not ready to be right near Dad or Derek I needed my bag and from the smells throughout the building it was back in the room I'd been set down in, hunting for the black strap I yanked it up hearing the clink of bottles pushing it from my focus at least for now…
Well we made it! And we are done for Chapter Four, if you stayed around to read this well…
