Credit goes where credits due, and I own none for the characters in this bit of whimsy. All the respect in the world to Rumiko Takahashi and the astounding amount of creativity that went into the masterpiece that is Inuyasha.
"Okay, let's get you settled in," Rin smiled at her, motioning to the desk she'd met Kagome at days before. "You have free reign, here. Decorate your desk as you like, but don't make it too flashy. This is a place of business." Rin didn't take anything from the desk, but instead neatly laid a calendar in the center. When Kagome's expression questioned her, her smile was kind. "I was just filling in. I work in the filing rooms."
"What about the calendar?"
"Trust me," Rin replied, very serious, "That calendar will determine whether you live or die around here."
