I hope you guys liked my last chapter.

The beginning is a short drabble. Luzith wanted to know what happened with Tim and Bruce two chapters back, and I was going to show a flash back later, but I decided to show it at the beginning instead. So, the first drabble is a flash back, not the actual chapter.

Disclaimer: I do not own DC Nation.

Tim POV (The night the Team defeated Mister Twister, before Tim hacked into the database)

"Your late, Tim. Again." Dad said behind me, his harsh voice almost making me jump. "Where have you been?"

I turned around, putting on my poker face as I stared up at him. "With Roy and Bart." I said, crossing my arms stubbornly.

Dad scowled at me, and I mirrored him. Our stubbornness and tempers flared at each other, the feelings we were both trying to push down raising quickly. "We've been over this Tim, that's who your with, not where. Now what have you been doing all day? What was so secretive that you took of your tracker?" Dad snapped. I held back a wince.

When I had taken off the tracker, I knew Dad would try to trace me with it. That's why I put a virus on it, making it send back a signal to show that I had been walking around random streets in Star. It was a virus I learned from Oracle, Dad shouldn't have known about the virus. Unless... unless Oracle was helping Dad. "Oracle helped you break my virus. Huh. Nice to know where she lies in this little battlefield." I said, turning around on him.

"Tim, don't you dare turn your back on me." Dad said, grabbing my arm with his bare hand.

The thing was, Dad's hand was a lot bigger than mine. And when I say that, I mean two times the size of my hand. So even though I had on my gloves, his hand still touched the cold skin of my wrist. And his memories started flooding into my head.

I gasped, images and feelings washing over me. Unlike with most people, where I watch their memories from birth to present, Dad was opposite. His memories always started from present to birth. That meant that I felt and thought everything he felt the past few weeks.

Days had passed for him, worrying over me, wondering if he made a mistake letting me into this life. I felt his concern, his protectiveness, how much he cared. And how much he regret of even thinking about letting me into the League, because of his other emotions. How he regretted trusting me.

Suddenly the images stopped, Dad's hands on my clothed shoulders instead of my bare arms. At some point during the vision of memories, my knees had buckled, dropping me to the floor with my legs sprawled beneath me in a useless heap. "Tim. Tim! Are you alright?" He asked, looking at me with concern.

"I'm fine!" I yelled, remembering how his concern is what lead to him regretting his trust in me. I pushed myself up weakly, wobbling to the side as I turned to leave, forcing back the tears.

Red X POV (back to regular plot)

I looked down at Nightwing and his fellow Titans, my anger rising to a level that Jason felt on a daily basis. Probably.

It had been 3 weeks since we got the idea to start the alarm system, and we were almost done with setting up everything for our team. There was only one thing missing, and that was the chemical Dick used to make the Red X suit teleport. I've been practicing with it, figuring out how to work the suit till it looked like it was me that had the ability to teleport, and not the suit. This way, people would think I was a meta, as long as they didn't know about the suit, which was something Nightwing wouldn't publicize that. Sadly though, xenothuim isn't an easy chemical to find. And no matter how mad I was a Dick for lying to me with Dad and Damian, I didn't want to have to fight him. Because no matter how mad I was at him, no matter what he did, Dick found me years ago, when I was sucking rat blood just to stay alive. I didn't want to fight him, I didn't want to hurt him. But I wasn't left with much options tonight.

I was at a private company's roof, one that had massive amounts of xenothuim. And because Dick found out someone stole his suit last week, and because I stole the xenothium scanner, Dick and his stupid Teen Twits were here, knowing I would run out of xenothuim eventually. They've been patrolling this building for weeks, searching for any sign of me. Sadly, this was the only night I could come out to get what I needed, without Dad questioning me again like that night a few weeks ago. Though, I couldn't find it in myself to be mad about it, even though I would probably have to fight Dick tonight. After all, even if I didn't want to fight him, it was still hilarious to watch him get pissed when he found out his precious suit was gone. But, I'm digressing. I should probably be paying attention to what they were saying.

"- you are no longer the one in the suit." Star Fire said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

I looked at my options, smirking. On one hand, I could go in silently. Or, I could make a scene and cause Dick more pain. I'm going for the latter. "And personally, I think it looks way better on me." I said, all of the Titans looking back at me shocked for a mere second before I threw the red X's that came with the suit. Everyone jumped away, dodging the X shurikens.

"You little shit!" Nightwing yelled, glaring at me.

I smirked behind the mask, jumping out of the way of Nightwing as he charged at me. "Oh come on Nightwing, you can do better than this." I taunted, laughing as he glared at me even harder.

"You leave him alone!" Starfire yelled, flying straight at my head with her eyes glowing bright green.

I ducked, my smirk growing as she flew straight above me and into Beast Boy, who was trying to sneak up behind me. "Why should I? After, he's only reaping what he sowed." I said, standing from my crouch to have Cyborg's cannon pointing at my head.

"I don't know what you've been told, kid, but Nightwing's done nothing." He said, the rest of the Titan's gathering behind him, ready to attack if I so much twitched.

I stared at him, my smirk fading from my face, not that they could see. "Yeah, that's what you think. But let's face the fact, Nightwing isn't perfect. He's just as horrible as the rest of us. Aren't you, Nightwing?" I asked, my voice as cold and harsh as possible.

He looked at me, his eyes narrowed as he analyzed me. "Who the hell are you?" Dick asked, his angry voice mixing with confusion.

I shook my head, realizing just how tense and angry Nightwing had made me. I forced a smirk onto my face, going back into my Red X persona. "That's for me to know," I said, walking back slowly till my boots hit the ledge of the roof. "And for you to never find out." I leaned back, my cape flashing out to help me glide down to the ground.

I twisted in midair, diving so that I fell straight into a skylight in the roof of the building, glass shattering as I went through. "Go after him!"

I looked up for a second, watching as Nightwing and the teen twits followed me. They were coming fast, each one of them looking pissed at me. Though, none of them looked as pissed as Nightwing. Which meant I had to hurry if I wanted to get any of the xenothuim tonight, before Nightwing got in the way.

I ran down the maze of hallways and corridors, scowling as the echo of footsteps behind me got louder and louder. It got even worse when I got to the end of the hallway, where a door way was. This was the door that lead to the xenothuim core rods. It should have been a good thing, but it wasn't, because there were traps past the door.

The traps past the door were state of the art, ones that took time to get pass. Laser sensors, a force field, and my personal favorite, the giant laser that would try to blast you to pieces when you touched the platform under it. I had planned on taking my time with each trap, planting a virus into the system so no one would be able to bother me and not get hurt at the same time- "Where are you, you coward?" But that wasn't going to work out apparently.

I turned around, scowling beneath my mask as Nightwing came into view. Oh well, I guess I'd have to improvise. "Aw, come on Wing, don't you want to play? They are your toys, after all." I said, switching to the cocky attitude that I came to use whenever Red X.

I threw the X shuriken at him, knowing he would dodge them as I ran through the door, and into the first trap.

The first trap was the easiest one of all of them. Security lasers lined the walls, each one so close to another one that it was almost impossible to get through. But Nightwing and I have been trained to do impossible things that are harder than this.

We twisted and jumped over the security lasers, neither one of us hitting the line as Dick followed me. Under different circumstances, this probably would have been fun. Jumping through the security lasers was so much like playing roof top tag, the adrenaline rush flowing through my veins, and if Nightwing wasn't chasing me like I was his enemy, I'm sure both of us would have been laughing right now. But that wasn't what was happening, and we were enemies now.

And there was no going back from that.
