Hey there everyone. Here is a new chapter. I will try my best to continue writing. I will be putting a poll on my website to vote on whether or not y'all think it will be a good idea to introduce an OC. I also want to ask whether you think this character should be Lucy's lost older brother or just a person from her childhood. For the sake of this story, since this story takes place before the time skip, I will be making all of the Sabertooth members the age they would have been after the time skip.

Chapter 11: Welcome to Sabertooth

Lucy's POV

A week has passed since I met Eos and Selene. Ever since I began training with Laxus, I felt myself getting stronger. I am now able to summon five spirits and with summoning all of the gods, I am now able to summon two for about thirty minutes before I get tired. I also learned a few cool tricks. Although I can't do this with the gods yet, I can use my spirits power as my own without summoning them, which makes defending myself a lot easier and faster. Laxus hasn't really improved much, but that is understandable since he was already a powerhouse when he began to take care of me. We are currently on a train on the way to Sabertooth to see if we can join.

"Hey Laxus?" "What is it?"

"Do you think we'll be able to join Sabertooth? I hear that they have you prove your strength before joining."

"Don't worry, if you do end up having to prove your strength, then you've got nothing to worry about. You've come a long way. Now rest up, we still have a while before we reach Sabertooth."

It was then that I noticed how tired I was. Unconsciously, I leaned onto Laxus's shoulder and fell asleep. As I was falling asleep, I felt an arm pull me closer to a body. Too tired to think too much of it, I fell asleep.

Timeskip to Sabertooth

Laxus and I as standing in front of Sabertooth, getting ready to enter. "Ready Lucy?" "Ready." We both pushed open the doors and walked in. As soon as we walked in, all eyes turned to us and all talk stopped. The silence was stopped when a man with spiky blond hair spoke up, "Oi, who are you two and what do you want?" The next person to speak up was a blond with long hair and red hat with pink fluff coming off the back of the hat, "Forgive Sting's attitude, but might I ask why you have come here?" Sting spoke up again, "What are you apologizing for Rufus, but answer my question already. What are you two doing here?"

I was starting to feel a little uncomfortable, but Laxus began to speak, "we are here to see if we can join this guild." Sting spoke up again, "you think you can just join Sabertooth, you've got to be kidding me." Suddenly, a giant scream resonated through the guild hall, "Enough! Sting, be quiet. I will decide who joins and doesn't join this guild." A man with a long white beard, a necklace made of red spheres and wearing a suit that covers half of his chest came down from the second floor of Sabertooth. "So you two want to join Sabertooth?" I finally got my feelings straight and said, "That's right." "Very well. You will each face of against a Sabertooth mage and if you can either hold out for five minutes or are able to defeat the mage, then you will be allowed to join Sabertooth. Rufus! Orga!" The man with the hat came up, along with a man with spiky green hair. "Rufus, you will fight the woman. Orga, you will fight the man." "Yes master."

The man named Rufus came up to me and said, "A pleasure to meet you, my name is Rufus Lohr. I am sorry, but I will not be holding back in this fight." I smirked at him and said, "my name is Lucy Heartfilia, and I wouldn't have it any other way." "I've heard the name Lucy before…"

Next to us, Orga was walking up to Laxus. "Hey there. The name's Orga Nanagear. I hope you didn't get your hopes up in joining Sabertooth, because I'm not going to go easy on you." "The names Laxus Dreyar. I hope you don't mind getting crushed by me." "Dreyar, that sounds familiar."

My match was the first to begin. "Let's begin miss Lucy." "Right! Open, Gate of the Lion, Loke! Open, Gate of the Ram, Aries!" Both Aries and Loke showed up and took their positions next to me. "Your prince has arrived Lucy." "I'm sorry, I'll try my best." "Aries, Loke. Attack Rufus from both sides!" "Yes princess/I'm sorry." "Regulus Impact!/Wool Bomb!" Both attacks hit Rufus, but once the smoke cleared, Rufus appeared unscratched on another part of the field. "Celestial Magic huh, and two zodiac spirits as well. Not bad. Unfortunately, not enough. Memory Make, Night of the Falling Stars!" Beams of light came down on us and managed to hit both Loke and Aries. "I'm sorry Lucy, I need to go back." "I'm sorry!" Both Loke and Aries went back to the spirit world, but I stayed calm. "Not bad Rufus. But I hope you don't think that all I can do is summon my spirits. Regulus Impact!" Caught of guard by my attack, Rufus was unable to dodge the attack and was moved backward. "Not Bad Miss Lucy, but you won't be able to dodge this a second time. Memory Make, Night of the Falling Stars!" The beams of light came down on me and caused smoke to rise. Once the smoke cleared though, I was unharmed and Ares was next to me in a defensive stance. "No one shall harm milady." "Thanks Ares. That was a close one." "A spirit named Ares isn't in my memory?" "That's because he isn't a spirit, he's a god." Before continuing the match though, Laxus spoke up, "Lucy. Why did you have to call him?" Ares turned to Laxus and said, "Hello there Thunder Freak." "Why you..!" "That's enough Laxus and Ares. Ares focus on the match!" "Forgive me Milady!" Ares charged at Rufus and kept him busy, while I got ready. "O God of the Gods, Beckon my Call, Come to my Side, Zeus!" Zeus appeared in front of me and said, "Is it time milady?" "Yes, Zeus, It's time." Zeus then sent his lightning at Rufus, and Ares attacked Rufus with more strenght. I, on the other hand, was preparing another Regulus Impact. "O Regulus, lend me your power! Regulus Impact!" The three attacks were too much for Rufus, and he fell on the ground defeated. The master spoke up, "The winner, Lucy Heartfilia."

While my match took almost all of the five minutes, Laxus's lasted about a minute. For the first thirty seconds, they seemed to be even, but then Laxus got serious and blasted Orga away with his lightning. "The winner, Laxus Dreyar."

The master then walked up to us, "My name is Jiemma. Welcome to Sabertooth."

There you go. Another chapter. Just to let you know, Jiemma will not be the total jerk that he is in the anime. While he will still care about being seen as strong as possible, he will not be kicking people out or being a total jerk when people fail. I also want to apologize about the lack of detail in Laxus's fight. Not only was I tired, but I honestly feel that Laxus would blow away Orga. Laxus and Orga never really got their fair match in the anime. Till next time!
