Here is a new chapter. You know the drill. I don't own Fairy Tail. Hiro Mashima does.

This chapter will begin when Laxus's fight begins. I want to give credit to XxShyxX for ideas in this chapter.

Chapter 12: Jealous?

Laxus's POV
 I was about to begin my fight with Orga. Lucy's fight has been going on for about a minute and a half and Lucy had just summoned Zeus. I turned to face Orga and we both got into a fighting stance. The Sabertooth master said, "You may begin the fight." I immediately sent Lightning Bullets at Orga, only to have Orga eat it. "Interesting. You ate my lightning." "Of course, I am the Lightning God Slayer after all."

This just got a lot more interesting. Just as I was about to attack again, Orga spoke up. "That Lucy chick you brought is interesting. She can summon Gods, and has that Zeus guy that uses lightning. That's my type of woman." Once Orga said this, I got mad. For some reason, hearing him speak like that about Lucy got me feeling mad and protective. I took advantage that he seemed to be distracted by Lucy to attack him. "Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd!" After that, the match lasted as long as it took for the attack to hit.

After my match, the master introduced himself as Jiemma and welcomed us to Sabertooth.

Lucy's POV

Both Laxus and I thanked master for allowing us to join Sabertooth and walked in. As soon as I walked in, a girl with silver hair walked up to me and said, "Hey there! My name is Yukino. I saw your fight and I got to say, I was really impressed. I'm a celestial mage as well, though I'm not as good as you." "Hey there Yukino. My name is Lucy. Thanks for the compliment but I'm pretty sure that with some training, you can get better. I'm glad to meet a fellow celestial mage. I hope we can be friends." "Of course! Come on, let me introduce you to some of my guild mates." Before we left though, she turned to Laxus and said, "Nice to meet you. I'm Yukino." Laxus just grunted and said, "my name's Laxus. Nice to meet you."

We walked to a table, where Rufus and Orga were sitting. "Hey guys. This is Lucy and Laxus. I'm just introducing them to everyone." I waved to all of them and they began to speak. The first to speak was the guy with spiky blond hair that had spoken up when we got here. "The name's Sting. Gotta admit, you have some pretty cool moves." "Thanks Sting. Nice to meet you." The next to speak up was a guy with an emotionless face and black hair, "My name is Rogue. Pleasure to meet you." "Same here Rogue. My name is Lucy." Rufus spoke up next, "you alreay know who I am so I just want to extend congratulations on joining the guild." "Thanks Rufus. I hope we can get along." "Likewise." The next to speak up was a woman with deep violet hair. "The name is Minerva. Remember it well, since it's the name of the strongest Sabertooth mage." "Nice to meet you Minerva." I don't know what possesed me to say the next thing, but I guess Laxus's cockiness began to rub off on me. "You can bet you won't be the strongest for long, not with Laxus and me here." "Is that a challenge?" "Maybe it is…" Rufus decided to break us up before anything happened though, "now now ladies. We don't want to cause a scene. How about we leave this for later."

We both turned around with a hmph and then proceeded to glare at each other. I turned though, when the man that Laxus fought began to speak. "By the way, my name is Orga. How about I show you around the guild?" Before I could get a word in, Yukino spoke up, "no way Orga. I'm already going to show Lucy around." She then proceeded to pull me away to show me. As we were walking away, I screamed at them, "Bye see you later!"

Laxus POV

Once Lucy left with that Yukino chick, I turned to Orga. "What the hell were you trying to pull there?" "Now now Laxus. I was simply trying to be a gentleman. After all, I did tell you she's my type of woman." I once again got mad at him and said, "you stay away from Lucy. She wouldn't go out with a guy like you." "Why should I? Wait, don't tell me you two are a thing?" I flinched at that and then said, "No. But I won't let her go anywhere with someone like you!"

"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're jealous." "Shut up. I ain't jealous. I'm just protecting Lucy from getting hurt again." After saying this, Orga seemed to have shut up, but I realized what I said, and cursed underneath my breath. Rufus then spoke up, "What do you mean again? What happened to Lucy beforehand?" "Not of your business. She doesn't want to be troubled about it anyway, so forget I said anything."

After all of them quieted down, I walked off to the bar and asked for a beer. Instead of drinking my beer though, I began to think about my discussion with Orga. Why am I freaking out so much about that Orga freak trying to make a move on Lucy. I know I told them I was being protective of her, but inside, I felt more than just the usual protective feeling. Don't tell me that Orga freak was right and I'm jealous. I know that I have feelings for her, but I can't let her see that I'm jealous. She wouldn't want to be with me anyway. After finishing my beer, I was about to walk off and go home when I realized that Lucy and I didn't have anywhere to stay. I groaned and walked off to find Lucy to talk to her about where we would be staying.

There you go. Another chapter. Even if it's a day late, Happy Thanksgiving. I want to anounce that I will be beginning a new fanfiction. It will be a Fire Emblem story.
