Hey there everyone. Sorry about the delay but I'm about to start finals and had to get some studying done, but I also ended up finally beginning to read the SAO light novels. I love them. Anyway, let's get started shall we? I don't own Fairy Tail. Hiro Mashima does.

Chapter 13: Finding a place to stay

Laxus POV

Where the heck did Lucy go?! That Yukino chick said that she was going to show her around but their not at the guild. I tried to pick up Lucy's scent and realized that the scent trailed off to the outside. Great. They must have decided that they would go sightseeing. If that was the case, then it would probably be a better idea to just leave them because otherwise I might end up being a personal pack mule. Deciding to look for them either way, I headed out of the guild.

I must have been looking for Lucy's scent for about 10 minutes before I finally found her. With all the people here, her scent got mixed in with everyone else's. Just as I expected, they were window shopping. Lucy was carrying three bags and Yukino two bags. These women must have a sensor for when a personal pack mule shows up because just as I was about to turn and try and get away, they both turned around and Lucy called out to me, "Hey Laxus!"

Lucy POV

Yukino and I were window shopping and we were thinking about heading back since our hands were beginning to get full. Just as we were about to head back, I felt an oddly familiar presence nearby. Yukino must have felt it as well, because we both turned around and saw Laxus. After seeing Laxus, I grinned at Yukino and said, "Hey Laxus!"

I swear I saw Laxus curse under his breath before he said, "Hey Lucy. I thought you were just going to look around the guild?"

"We were doing that but after talking a bit, I noticed that I haven't hung out with a girl in a while, so we decided to go out and look around town, and I guess we ended up window shopping." I then reached out to Laxus and began to pull his arm, "come on, join us!"

Laxus, caught off guard by the action, stumbled forward before saying, "Hold up! Don't I get a say in this?!"

"Oh don't be a party pooper Laxus. Now come on, you'll tell us whether we look good in outfits. We need an outside opinion." I then turned to Yukino, winked, and said, "Right Yukino?"

"That's right! Come on! I know a store where they sell cute outfits."

Timeskip to after shopping trip(that's right. I'm that mean. HAHA)

Laxus POV

Those were the two most agonizing hours that I have ever experienced, even more than getting a lacrima shoved into me, at least then I had a vague idea of what was going on. With those girls, I didn't know what else to expect, so whenever they came out with one of those skimpy outfits, they would get my blood pumping, especially Lucy. It was as if she was trying to make me go crazy. Not only that, but they made me carry all of their bags. I swear that they must have bought about a year's supply of clothes, where they got the money to do so, I will never know. We finally finished the torment they call shopping and were about to head back when I remembered why I even seeked out Lucy.

"Hey Lucy?"

Lucy turned to me and asked, "Yea?"

"Where are we staying tonight?"

"Oh…I completely forgot. We don't have a place to stay. I guess we could stay at a inn until we find a place to stay."

Yukino then spoke up and we both turned to look at her, "I know! You two can stay with me tonight and then go looking for somewhere to stay tomorrow!"

I just stared at her surprised, but Lucy, well that was a whole different story.

"Really?! This is going to be great! Come on Laxus! Let's stay with Yukino. It'll be like a sleepover."

Even if I wanted to argue against her, I've been with her long enough to know that it wouldn't make a difference, so reluctantly, I agreed to go. "Fine. But only for tonight. First thing tomorrow morning, we go look for a place to stay."

Lucy and Yukino, being the childish girls that they have been ever since they met, started jumping up and down while huggin each.

Timeskip to Yukino's house

"Welcome to my house! Laxus, could you take your and Lucy's stuff to the extra room at the end of the hall?"

"Why should I?" I looked at Lucy and she was sending glares at me, so I cursed under my breath. "Fine." I took the luggage and went to look for the room that she was talking about. Once I found it, I put our stuff down and began to head back. When I got back to the living room, I couldn't see the girls so I called out, "Lucy? Yukino? Where are you?" I heard a muffled "We're over here!" coming from across the hall. I walked in to where I head Lucy's voice and walked into the kitchen, where Yukino and Lucy were preparing some food. "What are you two preparing?"

"We decided that we were too hungry to wait so we decided to cook something up. We're preparing some pasta."

After they finished preparing the pasta, we ate and then got ready to go to sleep.

Lucy and I went over to the guest room and luckily, there were two beds. "Hey Lucy?"

Lucy turned to me and asked, "Yea?"

"How are you feeling about all that has happened today?"

"I feel happy. Everyone here is so nice and fun, and I also feel glad that we are finally able to calm down and focus on whatever is going on."

"That's good. Well we should get some rest. First thing tomorrow we are looking for a place to stay."

"Alright. Hey Laxus?"

"Yea?"

"Thanks for everything." Lucy then walked up to me and gave me a hug. "I really appreciate everything that you have done. I don't know what I would have ever do without you."

After recovering from the shock, I hugged Lucy back and said, "You don't need to thank me. I did it because I wouldn't forgive myself if I let you get hurt."

Lucy stayed quiet for a while but then began to speak, "…That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me. Laxus… I… Nevermind."

"What is it Lucy?"

"Nothing…Let's get to sleep." Lucy then kissed my cheek and said, "that's for everything…"

I just stood there shocked and Lucy went to bed. After recovering from the shock, I smiled at myself and went to bed.
