Kingdom Hearts DM77 Version Finale
The Final Battle
Darkness…. that was all that can be seen. In his last big play to achieve victory, Vader unleashed a colossal explosion from his own body that completely engulfed the Heartless world, taking the heroes along with him. Temperarly blinded by the darkness, Emerl managed to regain his optic sights. He was floating in a vast abyss of darkness with only a few pieces of land. Emerl was scared, but happy when he was rejoined by his friends.
"Emerl!" Oscar cheered as he floated down "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm good, are you guys?" Emerl asked nodding
"Yes, we're all in good health" Togami said nodding "Where is Vader though?"
"I'm not sure, I was facing him one second, the next we are here." Emerl said thinking
"That doesn't sound like a good thing" Doom said concerned "Stay on guard everyone."
"Yeah, but one problem with that." Hiro said nervous. "We don't know where we are."
"I can enlighten you on that" Vader's voice echoed
The heroes jump in surprise and look around trying to find him. While having there weapons ready
"Welcome to the endless abyss!" Vader called out "Within it lies the hearts of all worlds: Kingdom Hearts!" Not far from their position, the heroes could see a gigantic white door visible in the eternal darkness, but what worried them most was the fact it was the only source of light. "Look as hard as you are able. You'll not find even the smallest glimmer of light. From those dark depths that all hearts are born; even yours!"
"As if! No way that is true" Lilac said determined
"Now where are you Vader?" Oscar asked "Show yourself"
"Careful what you wish for…" Vader spoke
The heroes knew this time where the voice was coming from and looked in that direction, and immediately regretted doing so. Before them they see a large grey and black ship like Heartless with a face. It seemed almost like a living version of Wily's Skull ship but more Heartless like. On the back attached was the large Heartless Guardion of Vader with Vader attached to it with several cables, he lost his cape and helmet and wielded a double-bladed lightsaber sort of resebling a spear like version of Soul Eater. This was known as the World of Chaos or a variant to it.
(Author Note: The colour scheme is that of the Executor from Star Wars)
"Darkness conquers all worlds!" Vader exclaimed
"I want to go now…" Hiro said scared
"For once I agree with you" Togami said nodding
"Sorry, but there is no retuning home for you" Vader laughs
Vader creates a powerful force pulling at the heroes. Emerl activates his flight attachments but the others were pulled down, the Gizoid grabs Doom's hand but misses the others. The World of Chaos ship roars and some dark portals open, absorbing Togami, Hiro, Lilac and Oscar into them. However the force was too much for Emerl's flight pack and both he and Doom began falling down into the abyss
"Dark, what's wrong why is my jetpack not working?" Emerl asked Dark Emerl
"It sustained some damage during your constant battles leading to this, I'm sorry I don't know if I can reactivate it for more boost?" Dark Emerl said "Nothing can last against the darkness, not even me."
"So that's it…. we lose" Emerl thought sadly
"Giving up already? Come on, Emerl." A familiar voice suddenly spoke up "I thought you were stronger than that."
"Metal?" Emerl said surprised
"Woah?! We just got a surge of power to flight cabailities?!" Dark Emerl states
Emerl's jetpack reactivates, and he flies up holding onto Doom. Who manages to get out something he was working on during the tournament, his own jet pack. He attactches it and both fly up back to Vader and his World of Chaos Heartless ship. Vader seeing him growls and sends a saber strike at them and Emerl uses his keyblade to block it. He then points it the enemy
"It all ends here, Vader" Emerl exclaimed
"So, you truly are Hercules reborn." Vader said firmly "Your confidence will be your downfall."
"My previous life was that of a great warrior from what I learned!" Emerl shouted "And I will be too! I will end your reign of terror and return all the hearts you stole!"
"Such defiance. And Doom once again you find yourself on the field against one opening Kingdom Hearts, you truly are a clone who is in the wrong place at the right time." Vader said mockiling
"What…what are you talking about?" Doom said confused
"It matters not, allow me to introduce the darkness in your heart" Vader said
The time for talking was over. Emerl gripped his Keyblade and charges in and engages Vader in a malee fight, Doom provided ranged support firing his blaster at the villain. Vader uses a force to pull Doom closer and takes a swing but Emerl blocks it, but this was what Vader wanted as he swings again and knocks them back both of them
"You still underestimate the power of Darkness" Vader mocks
"Not at all…" Doom said and throws a thermal detonator and fires a shot blowing it up in Vader's face
"Ahhhhhh!" Vader yells out "You fools!"
Emerl took the opening and charges in and teleports close to Vader and strikes him several times and then finishes up with a point blank Firaga wounding the villain
"You insolent whelp!" Vader said with a growl "You've become such a thorn in my side!"
"It doesn't matter, it ends now!" Emerl said readying his Keyblade "Any final words?"
"You could end it here and now" Vader said a chuckle in his voice "But if you finish me off, you lose your chance saving your other friends"
"Our friends?" Doom asked surprised "Where are they?"
Vader didn't reply and holds his arm out and a portal of Darkness opens up behind the two. The Gizoid looks into the darkness of the portal as it became clear. He could see Hiro and Lilac in a dark room illimunated by a glowing Heartless symbol. They seemed to be fighting off some Heartless in the area. Emerl looks back to Vader.
"You have two choices." Vader told him "You can defeat or protect them"
Emerl looks at Doom who nods to his friend. It was little choice as Vader reatreats back to his Guardion to recover. Emerl and Doom rush into the portal to save their friends diving into the portal and transported away.
Emerl and Doom phased through the portal of darkness and landed on the neon symbol. Emerl expected his friends to be relieved to see them here. But they realized they were fighting several Neo Shadows. Doom and Emerl move in and aid in fighting them, but they were difficult. Soon they Neo Shadows stop coming
"Emerl, Doom are we glad to see you!" Lilac said smiling
"What happened outside this place?" Hiro asked
"We were fighting Vader in his newest form." Doom said "He was more powerful and that ship form seems to be the source of it."
"We were close to beating him, but then he tried to kill you" Emerl finished up
"Well glad you came to save us, how are Togami and Oscar?" Lilac asked
"No clue on them." Emerl said
"We got other problems!" Doom said
They were then ambushed by the remaining Neo Shadows and the fighting happened again. Hiro used his shields to protect the group while the other three dispatched them. Lilac licks the last one into the wall and it fades away
"Well, that clears the room, but how do with get out of here?" Hiro asked
"No idea" Doom said
Suddenly the Heartless symbol faded and a flash of light appeared behind the group. They turn and see a large red core in the centre of the darkness
"Think that is the way out?" Emerl asked
"Looks like something important to be that" Lilac said nodding
"I got this" Hiro said stepping up and cracks his knuckles, wincing a bit
He then wines up and punches right into the core breaking it. With the connection lost it explodes. The force of the blast sent the heroes flying backwards into the portal of darkness that appeared.
The group of four escape from the portal back outside and see that Vader remained in is protattive stasis with the Guardion protecting him, however all of a sudden the head of the ship both were attach to activates and roars
"Guess we're fighting the ship now" Lilac said as she and Hiro were given jetpacks by Doom
"Well what can it do?" Hiro asked chuckling
The ship then roars and summons down lighting around the area in front of it making the others have to dodge it. The heroes attack it, with Doom provide back support while Lilac, Hiro and Emerl move into melee range and dodge the lighting attacks or fire from the mounted turrets on it. Lilac focus on the turrets and charges in and strikes them with her feet or hair whips destroying the.
"Hiro ready to deal with this thing?" Emerl asked as they fly in
"Oh yeah!" Hiro said acrtivating his cyber shields and uses one to block attacks and sends one flying hitting the face in it's well face.
Emerl then comes down and swings strinking hard and deals a lot of damage. The face of the World of Chaos roars before freezing and a portal of darkness opens inside it's mouth. The group see Togami and Oscar fighting Heartless in a similar room as the one that held Hiro and Lilac.
"Well…. this will be the first time we're willingly letting ourselves fly into somethings mouth" Doom said
"Let's hope it's the only time" Lilac said sighing
The four nod and fly on in and get absorbed into the darkness
They enter the room to see there other two friends fighting more Neo Shadows and move in to help them.
"About time you lot showed up!" Togami said casting a Blizzarga at some Neo Shadows freezing them
"Sorry! Vader proved to be more distracting than we thought!" Emerl said as he shatters the frozen enemies
"Least we're together now" Oscar points out nodding
They group keep fighting and soon cleared the room and like before the symbol shines and a red orb appears. Togami fires a Fire spell at it and destroys it and the reuninted group are blown out into another portal
The heroes fly out of the creatures mouth, and once a safe distance away energy builds up in the World of Chaos' head and it explodes into pieces taking half of the ship with it.
"Few, that was tight" Lilac said relived.
"The fight is far from done, we may have taken the ship but the guy controlling it is still there" Emerl said
With the group of six reunited they fly back up to the Guardion, where Vader was but the seal breaks and Vader emerges from it, fully healed and summons his Soul Eater double lightsaber
"Not good…" Oscar said worried
"Why didn't you finish him off earlier?" Togami asked
"Because their hearts were too weak" Vader told them "They had a choice, kill me or save you, in the end they chose to allow me to achive my full strength." He points his saber at them "Now let's see if you truly have what it takes to overcome the darkness!"
"I will show you I am not weak just cause I picked my friends over ending you!" Emerl said
With that Team Gizoid began there final battle with the Seeker of Darkness began. Togami and Doom tired to provide cover with spells or blasters but Vader had his Guardion fire energy blasts making it hard for them to do it effectively. Oscer and Hiro double team Vader who blocks there swings and knocks them away. Lilac does a Super Dragon boost getting a hit in but he kicks her into Emerl and then slashes at Emerl damaging his arm
"Ah!" Emerl cries out as his arm goes limp
"Pitiful, the most advanced Gizoid ever to exist and you are the result" Vader said mockingly "Athena would be ashamed of what her only creation came to be."
"Don't…you talk about her….like that!" Emerl said glaring his eyes glowing white
Suddenly white symbols surround all of Emerl and his jetpack turn into metallic wings and his arm self repairs. It was a surprise to Dark Emerl as he sees all the shutdown systems power on.
"What is this?!" Vader asked shocked
"I heard of this, this is the form Hercules took known as Final Form but…it isn't it fully just a miner version of it" Lilac said
"Whatever it is, it better work" Togami said
"You think that will help you?!" Vader said
"We will see" Emerl said readying his Keyblade
Vader charges a dark energy ball and fires it, Emerl charges in and swings it cutting through not only the ball but Vader and his Guardion and does that three more times. Soon the energy builds up in Vader as the remains of the World of Chaos ship begin to explode and Vader soon follows as he explodes
"He did it!" Hiro cheered
"Never had a doubt!" Doom said smiling
Emerl pants and he powers down the wings and symbols fade and his eyes return to blue. He looks and sees the Wold of Chaos fade away.
"Woah…what happened?" Emerl asked
"You happened that's what!" Lilac said as the group fly up and she hugs him
"Well done dude!" Hiro said excited
"Isn't it early to celebrate" A familiar voice said
Somehow against all odds, Vader somehow survived the explosion, his cape and helmet returned but his mask and armor was greatly damaged and it was clear he was wounded
"Impossible…" Oscar said shocked "How can he survive that?!"
"It matters not, he doesn't seem to have much fight left and he used up his trump card!" Emerl said to them
"You really think so?" Vader said to them "The efforts you pull are futile. The Keyblade alone cannot seal the door to darkness." He then turns and reaches out to the door of Kingdom Hearts "Kingdom Hearts! Fill me with the power of darkness…" The heroes watch as the large white doors begin to open and dark shadows seem to emerge from it "Supreme darkness…"
"You're wrong, Vader." Emerl said to him "You may believe that but I know now, with zero doubt. Kingdom Hearts…is light!"
All of a sudden, a bright light shines from the door, the Seeker of Darkness getting hit and being nothing but a being of darkness was getting consumed by it. He could feel his life being sapped away.
"Light….But….why…" Vader said as he feels his life draining as he stairs at the light those being his final words he was consumed by the light
"So, he's finally gone?" Oscar asked
"It looks like it, that was enough to destroy him completely" Togami said nodding
"Yeah, but now we have another problem!" Hiro said
"Hiro's right, we have to close that door!" Emerl said
The heroes nod and go and land on the piece of land with the door and rush to it. The six begin pushing against the door with all their might. But unfortunately with there combined might the team was unable to make the door budge. As they pushed, Hiro got curious and peeks inside through the crack and gasped in horror,
"Stop staring and keep pushing!" Lilac told him
"B-But look!" Hiro said scared
The group take a look and gasp as well and see was coloines of Heartless ready to move though the door.
"The Heartless!" The team called out
"Hurry up!" Togami ordered
"We can't." Emerl said feeling weak "It's too…"
"Don't give up, Emerl!" a familiar voice said as two sets of hands came to their rescue. Emerl stairs through the crack and saw one of them belonged to Metal Sonic pulling the door from the other side. "Together we can do it."
The other set belong to another clone trooper, only this one had mostly blue hightlights instead who was pulling the other door "Come on!"
"Wait…you look familiar?" Doom said surprised
"Focus! We have to get this door closed now!" The other clone said
"Right!" Emerl said and resumes pushing
With the added help the doors begin to slowly close but it was still a slow process. Suddenly three Darksides emerge with the intention of stopping them
"It's hopeless!" Hiro cried out scared
"Come on Hiro" A new voice said "Don't give into despair!"
This new voice draws the heroes attention to look in. They see the three Darksides were defeated in a flash of light. The group staired in confusion until a new figure appeared before them. He was a brown haired boy similar to Togami's age where a green hoodie, black pants and red trainers.
"Makoto!" Togami and Hiro cried out
The boy now known as Makoto Naegi, current Headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy reached out and summonds a keyblade similar to Emerl's default keyblade but had a gold blade and white handle. It was the darknees equvilant of it Kingdom Key-D (D for Dark Side)
"Let's do it Emerl!" Makoto called out "Let's close this door up for good!"
"We have to close it quick!" Togami said to them
"But…what about them?" Emerl asked worried
"Don't worry about us." Makoto told them "There will always be a door to the light."
"You don't need to be a fortune teller for me to say this Emerl, you can trust Makoto." Hiro said smiling
"Come on! We don't have time for this!" Metal called out
"He's right, they're coming!" The blue highlighted clone said
"Togami, Hiro, thanks for being good friends." Makoto said "Oscar, Lilac, this was never your fight to begin with but you stood up to help and I am grateful. Commander Doom, though you don't remember me, I am happy to see you are doing well and I hope your memories do return."
With those final words, not one of the heroes had a trace of regret left in them. The team of six pushed with so much power that they didn't think possible. The door was finally able to come to a close. But before they could seal it, Metal had some final words for his best friend.
"Take care of her." Metal said
Emerl hesitated but knew it had to be done and nods. Once the door was shut, Emerl and Makoto raised their keyblades to the sky and called forth the power that connected them. By the power of the two hearts, the Door to Darkness was enveloped in a colossal wall of light. By the time the light faded, the door had disappeared, taking their friends with it.
"See you soon, Metal" Emerl thought
Like his friends the Gizoid looked to the sky as he thought back on the good memories with Metal and also Jenny. Suddenly, Emerl felt a strong light coming from behind. Emerl turned and was surprised to see Jenny was here in the Endless Abyss, looking lost and confused with how she got there. With zero hesitation, Emerl ran to her. Togami wanted to go after him but Lilac stopped him
"He needs, to go" Lilac told him
"Yeah…. I guess you're right" Togami said nodding
"He definatly made this journey worthwhile" Oscar said smiling
"True that" Hiro said in agreement
With Jenny, the robot girl found herself on a piece of land that was slowly beginning to break away from the rest. She was nervous this was the end, but her worries were over when a familiar voice spoke up
"Jenny!" Emerl cried as he ran over.
"Emerl!" Jenny cried out happily. She tried to step over but the world shakes and she nearly falls but Emerl grabs her hand holding her steady "What's going on?"
"Vader is defeated and the door to darkness is sealed, all the worlds are returning to the separated state" Emerl explained "But I can't go with you, not till I find Metal."
"But…what if you never find him" Jenny said worried "I can't lose you!"
"Jenny, remember what you said before?" Emerl asked her "I'm always with you too." The piece of land begins to separate the hero and the princess of heart "I'll come back to you. I promise!"
"I know you will!" Jenny responds.
And with that, the two let go of each other's hands. Emerl wanted nothing more than to go back and be with Jenny, but he had a duty to uphold. As the two floated apart, small particles of light began falling from the sky like snow. Jenny stared in wonderment at the falling light, not knowing where they came from. All of a sudden, the landscape of Destiny Island appeared around her, followed by the overlapping sea
"Jenny…" Emerl called out from a distance. "I love…"
The last words were unheard as Emerl vanished. Jenny could only watch as a cloud burst into hundreds of shooting stars, symbolizing the restoration of the worlds. Everything was how it should be. She was back home…only not with the two most important people she knows.
The next day Jenny was walking on the island, she returned to her home last night and found out no one not with Amy, Sokka and Link were aware of the Heartless incident, probably for the best, she explained that Metal and Emerl were travelling to see the worlds. She goes to the Secret Area where she, Emerl and Metal used to play in. Memories fill her head as she looks at the walls as he admires the old drawings on the wall.
She then stops when she gets to a particular drawing, it was the one of her and Emerl, which Emerl altered of him giving her a Paopu fruit and she for a moment saw Emerl there adding it before looking at her with a smiling look before vanishing, she produces a tear as she smiles. She then adds her own addition to it, of her giving him a paopu fruit
"I love you too Emerl…" Jenny said smiling
At Hopes Peak, Kirigiri sits in the Headmaster's office with Gundam and Sonia as Souda and Miu reported having lost contact with Emerl and co, unable to reach the Hope Seeker 7.
While the others were worried, Kirigiri was confident they will be safe and will be fine as they have been though so much before all this
On Traverse Town the townspeople were disappearing as there worlds return. The last to leave were Megaman, Roll, Dr. Light, Dr. Wily and the Robot Masters. The two scientists were getting ready and Dr. Light offers a hand as it was nice to work with his old friend again
Dr. Wily was reluctant but he shakes his hand, a part of him was happy to be on the same team as Light again, but once back home it would be business as usual.
With the last of the people gone, Traverse Town's light turn off and it goes dormant, awaiting the day it will be needed again to house those who lost their world.
In the Mushroom Kingdom a huge party was being held for the return of Princess Peach and everyone was there, even Bowser and the Koopas were there as the party was held at Peaches castle
On Wumpa Island Crash, Aku-Aku and Uka-Uka were looking at the lights returning to the sky, the two brother held there truce for this as the heroes and villians of this world worked to rebuild the Mojo fountain of the temple
At the Conton City stadium an exhibition match between between Goku and Vegeta being referee'd by Trunks. The two Kai's smile watching
Meanwhile watching them Towa and Mira were watching, a third figure was with them, a red skinned figure in a blue outfit and had a black beard, he smirks with Demigra gone he was free to do what he wanted now in the name of the Demon Realm.
On Spherus Magna, the Toa happily welcomed Gali back, Tahu acted like he wasn't that worried, but Lewa smirks and pushes the leader into Gali and the two Toa blushed while the others laugh. Dahrahk sits by a tree looking at the sky wondering about it's master, Emerl.
On a hill overlooking them all was Zaktan in a brown hooded robe. He clutches his arm and looks at it as is surges with darkness causing him pain. He then puts the hood up and walks away.
On Equestria, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were explaining what happened to their friends and how some ponies helped save the kingdom from Chrysalis and they all took it in, through Pinkie somehow knew it all already.
On Magalopolis, the Hero festival goes off without a hitch, Nefarious nodding and happy to be done with his community service as the grand finale happens with a bunch of fireworks in the shape of Ratchet, Clank and Qwark.
In the Old Republic era M1-4X returns to Meteor and Havoc Squad who were given there new orders to deal with another problem. While Tavus awaits sentencing for his crimes of treachery.
In Hollow Bastion, the world was slowly rebuilding with the aid of Doom's troopers and Grim's magic. Also flying overhead was Red Eyes Black Dragon, it somehow came to this world rather than his own world but Grim helps it settle in.
Blake walks down the road and spots a figure sitting in the alley and sees it is actually Tommy, she goes and helps him up and brings him to Qrow and co, for him to be checked, whatever happened to him it left him exhausted.
As for Emerl and his friend, the group of six were walking down a long winding road that was in the middle of an everlasting field. They wondered why they didn't return to there home worlds, but figured they were still needed. RiCO their chronicler was also still with them inside Emerl's head. They travelled several miles in silence, trying to plan what to do next.
"I can't believe we lost the Hope Seeker 7" Lilac said sighing
"It was expected to say the least." Togami said, "So now what do we do?"
"Well, we have to find Metal and Makoto" Emerl points out
"Yeah, I guess that would be our next objective." Oscar said nodding
"But, where do you suggest we start looking for that door to the light?" Hiro asked concerned
"I guess so, not like the answer will just walk in front of us." Doom said nodding
This stunned the group as they stop and all look down dejected, as the had no leads. Makoto had not given them any hints on the location before the door was closed. But there sadness ended quickly as they heard rustling and look up and see Komaru Naegi, Makoto's sister, walk out into the open.
"Hey, that girl…" Emerl said reagonizing her
"Komaru?" Togami said surprised, they haven't seen her since Twilight Town
"Hey, where have you been all this time?" Hiro asked her
The girl looked at them and just smiles and waves with a giggle. It was then they realized she was holding something in her hand: a letter. They could see it had a green seal of the Hope's peak emblem.
"Well look at that, it's Makoto's seal" Hiro yelled out
"How oddly timed" Lilac said surprised
"Hey, have you seen Makoto?" Emerl asked her
Komaru giggles and then runs down the long open road
"Quick don't lose her!" Doom ordered
They didn't need to be told twice. The friends all smile each as the start of the next length of there adventure began. They ran with joyful spirts, the road maybe tough but the old friends Emerl made will still be with him. And whatever new darkness rears it's head, the Keyblade wielder will be there to stop it.
"Remember Emerl….You are the one who will open the Door to Light"

And with the the adaptation of Kingdom Hearts is complete, next up Chain of Memories some heads up a little bit of an extra cast member as one gets replaced with another.
Also the ending bits where we see the worlds a few naimly Spherous Magna and Conton City I do a bit of hinting on the stories for for come KH 2. But I hope you enjoyed this and stay tuned for the Prologue for Chain of Memories
