I am so so so so so so sorry for not updating in such a long time. Please don't kill me. I've been too busy with schoolwork and too distracted with everything going on at my house that I just haven't had time to write in a while. I promise I won't be doing this anymore unless something else comes up, but I'll try to keep up with my writing from now on. Let's start then shall we? I don't own Fairy Tail otherwise that last chapter wouldn't have happened. I won't give any spoilers but those that want to talk about it, don't hesitate to PM me.

Chapter 17: Celebrations

Lucy POV

I woke up the next day and looked out the window. I expected to see the sun just coming out to tell me that it was morning, but I was surprised to see that the sun was completely out and was standing proud in the sky. There is no way it's this late!

I got out of bed and immediately noticed that I was a mess. My clothes were all wrinkled and after I looked at my hair in the mirror, I saw that my hair was a wild mess. I looked at myself horrified for about five minutes before deciding to fix it before anyone saw me like that. I took some clothes from my drawers and went to the restroom to shower. I stripped all of my clothes and then turned on the faucet to let it warm and fill the tub. After the tub was completely full, I turned off the faucet and then stepped in. I relaxed in the water, letting it wash off any dirt that I had on my body for a while, before I decided to start washing myself. I took my favorite strawberry and vanilla shampoo and washed my hair before taking my same scented body wash to wash my body. I rinsed myself off and relaxed in the water for a few more minutes before finally deciding to get out.

Once I was out, I dried off and got dressed. I didn't really feel like picking some new clothes so I went with my usual clothing. I put on a white bra and matching panties before putting on my white shirt with the blue heart on the chest area. I put on my blue miny skirt and my deep blue stockings. I put on my boots and the blue arm accessory before putting on my small blue coat. I tied back my hair into two ponytails while letting some of it fall to the front of my face. I tied my belt around my skirt and attached my key ring and whip.(She's dressed in the attire she wore after coming back from her battle with Flare) Satisfied with my appearance, I walked out of my room.

I walked into the kitchen to find Laxus eating two pieces of steak with some fried rice. Somehow, he hadn't noticed me yet, so I walked up to him and covered his eyes with my eyes before saying, "guess who?"

He seemed to stiffen at the touch but after hearing my voice, he calmed down and said, "Lucy. You shouldn't walk up to me like that. I was about to shock you."

"You know you wouldn't do that to me. Who else would do that to you anyway?"

"True. Guess you're feeling better?"

"Yeah! I'm all rested. I'm surprised I slept for so long though… I was surprised to see that it was so late out when I woke up."

"Yeah well you deserve the rest. That was one awesome fight yesterday. You were great. Congratulations on winning by the way."

"Thanks Laxus. I was a lot tougher that I thought it would be tough."

Laxus laughed at me before saying, "I told you not to underestimate her didn't I?"

I pouted before saying, "Yea yea. Whatever."

He stood up and walked up to me before saying, "Come on. Let's go."

I looked at him confused for a minute before saying, "What do you mean? Where are we going?"

"We're going to go celebrate your victory of course. I'll take you anywhere you want. Everything is on me."

The moment he let out those words, two things happened. The first is the obvious one, I started to jump up and down excited and gave Laxus a big hug. The second thing is the funnier out of the two, Laxus paled at what he had just said and cursed under his breath knowing that this would be another one of the days that he would regret because he would be paying for everything that I want.

I let him calm down before saying, "Everything huh… This will be fun."

He turned pale again before saying, "Please try to restrain yourself though. There's only so much I can handle."

I pouted before saying, "Fine. I'll try not to stress you too much."

3rd Person POV

Six hours had passed and Lucy and Laxus were heading back to their house after a day of fun for Lucy but a day of torture for Laxus. Just as Laxus had said they would, they had spent the entire day doing whatever Lucy wanted.

First, because she was hungry, they went to eat at some fancy restaurant. After a rather large meal, Lucy dragged Laxus to a book store. She bought a bunch of romance novels and some other books as well. After that, the two went to an ice cream stand where they had fun talking about different things. That was only the first two and a half hours. The next three and a half hours were spent with Lucy dragging Laxus to multiple clothing stores and made sure to buy as much clothes as she wanted, including some skimpy ones that almost caused Laxus to lose control of himself. She kept on teasing him with some of the clothing that she wore, although most of the things she tried on she didn't even buy. She tried on about one-hundred fifty different dresses and clothes, but out of all of those, she only bought twenty of them.

The walk back home had Lucy carrying her bag with her books while Laxus carried the bags that contained the many dresses that Lucy had made him buy for her. What they didn't know though, was that while they were hanging out, Jason, the reporter for Sorcerer Weekly, had spotted them and decided to follow them around to try and get some scoop about the couple.

Lucy POV

Once we got home, I sat down on the couch and relaxed into the couch. Laxus dropped all of the bags the minute we stepped into the house and collapsed on the couch. I laughed at him before he said, "Never again…"

"Oh don't be such a baby. It wasn't that bad. You did say that we would do anything that I wanted to."

He sighed before saying, "Yea. Guess I did. I'm glad that it's over though. That was exhausting."

He got up from the couch and started heading to his room. "I'm going to bed. I need some sleep."

Before he could leave, I called out to him, "Wait!"

He turned but before he could ask what I wanted, I reached him and hugged him. He stiffened for a second before returning my hug.

"Thanks for today Laxus. It was really fun. I'm sorry if I made you spend so much."

"It's alright. I kind of expected it and remember. Today was your day. I'm proud of you Lucy."

I stood there shocked at what he said while he ruffled my hair with his hand. "Goodnight Lucy."

Before he could leave, I leaned up and kissed his cheek before running to my room. As I was running, I called out to him, "Goodnight Laxus!"
