Hey there. I'm back. It's time for the new chapter. I honestly couldn't wait any longer to write this chapter. I also didn't want to keep all of you waiting. Now, how about we find out what is going to happen with Laxus and Lucy. I don't own Fairy Tail.

Chapter 19: Comfort Dinner?

Lucy POV

I kept running for about thirty minutes until I found myself at the outskirts of Crocus. I walked into the forest and sat beside a tree. Once I was settled in, I let out all of the tears that had accumulated. Why did I think that Laxus would have been interested in going out with someone like me? I kept fooling myself that we might have had something, but I guess that's not the case. Laxus made it pretty clear that he didn't want to have a relationship with me. He thought the idea of going out with me to be crazy.

As I was sitting there crying and thinking to myself, I heard someone start walking towards me. I tensed up and wipped my tears away before turning to see who had followed me. I expected to see someone like Yukino or maybe even Laxus, but the person in front of me wasn't either of them, it was Orga.

"Orga? What are you doing here?"

He didn't say anything for a few seconds and instead kept on walking towards me. Once he reached me, he said in a soft voice, "You okay blondie?"

Normally, I would have retorted to his comment about me being a blonde, but I wasn't up to it right now. Instead, I said, "Yeah…I just needed to get some air."

"You seriously expect me to believe that? You never scream at Laxus to get away from you, and now all of a sudden you're telling him to get away from you? What's wrong blondie?"

I felt tears come back to my eyes when I was reminded about Laxus, but I blinked them back. Deciding to tell him part of the truth, I said, "I was just shocked about what the Sorcerer Weekly said about us and as I said, I just needed to get away to get myself back on track."

That seemed to do the trick since Orga began to move away and said, "Fine. But don't be so depressed about it. No one at the guild will mention it or talk about unless you comfirm it."

I nodded at what he said, and I began to feel better. As I was about to express my thanks, Orga spoke up again, "How about I take you out for dinner? Get your mind out of all of this?"

I stood there surprised, thinking to myself. Why would Orga want to take me to dinner? He says that he wants to help distract me. I guess it wouldn't be too bad.

"That would be nice Orga. Who would have thought you could be so nice?"

"Hey! I'm nice. I just only show it to those that deserve it, and you do."

I blushed slightly at that comment and started running toward the city, "Come on Orga! It's starting to get late. If you don't hurry, we won't be able to have that dinner!"

After I said that, Orga seemed to start rushing towards one of the more popular restaurants in Crocus. I laughed to myself and followed him. After a few minutes, we arrived to a cute little restaurant near the outskirts of the city. We entered and were immediately directed to a table near the back of the restaurant.

After a few minutes, we ordered our food and talked a bit more before the food got here. I had ordered a chicken salad with dressing while Orga had ordered two steaks. We ate silently, probably due to the fact that we hadn't really interacted before then. After we finished eating, we started talking again. I asked him about what he liked to do and he said that apart from fighting and messing with Sting from time to time, which caused me to laugh, he said that he also liked to sing. That took me by surprise. I never expected someone like Orga, who was usually quiet and composed, to like to sing. I was about to ask him to sing something for me but he asked, "So you used to be a Fairy Tail member?"

That killed the mood that had gradually settled. I tensed up and said, "Y-Yea but I don't really want to talk about it right now. I don't think I'm ready yet to talk about it."

I expected him to continue to pester me but he just nodded and ordered another steak. I let out a relieved sigh and then decided to order a slice of strawberry cake. We continued to do small talk until at some point, Orga decided that he would go to the restroom. I nodded at him and finished my cake.

I had been waiting for about a minute when I heard someone call out my name, "Lucy!"

I tensed up at that voice, since it belonged to the man that I had run away from earlier that day. Hesitantly, I turned to see Laxus walking up to me.

"L-Laxus? What are you doing here?"

Instead of responding me, he pulled me into a hug, which caused me to tense up. "Thank god you're okay. When you suddenly left like that, I worried you might have done something stupid."

Before I could reply, Orga came back. "Laxus? What are you doing here?"

Laxus turned wide-eyed to Orga and said, "I should be asking you the same question." He then turned to me and said, "Why is he here Lucy?"

I was hesitant to reply, but in the end, I said, "He invited me to dinner to distract me from everything that happened. We were just eating as friends."

That calmed him down, but that caused Orga to tense up. I was about to turn and thank Orga for the food, but Laxus began to pull me. "Laxus? What are you doing?"

Orga was about to say something, but stopped when he saw Laxus give him a deadly glare. Laxus then turned to me and said, "I need to talk to you. I want to show you something."

He smiled down at me, and since I was curious about what he wanted to show me, I said, "Okay."

I turned to Orga and said, "Thanks for the dinner Orga. It was really fun. Let's talk some more later, alright?"

I saw Orga flinch, but then sighed, smiled and said, "Yea. Sure…"

I nodded back at him and then walked with Laxus out of the restaurant. "So where are you taking me Laxus?"

He simply smirked and said, "You'll see. But I promise you. By the end of today, you'll forget everything about earlier."

I flinched when I was reminded about what happened, but then smiled because Laxus was promising that I would forget about that. I nodded happily at him and said, "I'll take your word for that then. Don't disappoint me."

"Oh, don't worry. This is something that I usually don't do, so you won't be disappointed."
