Chapter 12:
Ah, I don't want to wake up yet. Rolling to my right side, I hugged whatever was there tightly.
Big mistake.
"I-Itai!" The high-pitched voice said.
...That's definitely not Kirito. Oh yeah! I remember crawling into the other girl's bed last night. Now why did I do that? It doesn't matter now I guess.
"Kirito! Wake up, quickly!"
As I shouted, the girl edged away from me after I released her.
Please don't be scared of me...!
"Morning..." Kirito yawned.
"Get over here!"
She sat up.
"I'm glad you've woken up" I said as Kirito came over.
"You collapsed in a forest, do you remember why you were there?" I asked.
She thought about it for a few seconds but then shook her head.
"Oh..." I sighed.
"What's your name? Can you tell me?" Kirito inquired
"M...My name... My name is... Yui... Yui. That is my name"
Even for a child, taking that long to remember their own name, kind of weird...
"Yui-chan, I'm Saki. And this is Kirito" I gestured to him.
"Saki? Kiito?"
I'm laughing on the inside, Kiito!
"Do you know where your mum and dad are? Yui-chan" I tried asking.
"I-I don't know. I don't know anything"
"What..?"
"Hello, Yui-chan" Kirito sat on the edge of the bed.
"Can I call you Yui?"
"Mmh" She nodded.
"Okay, then you can call me Kirito"
"Kiito?"
"It's Kirito. Ki-ri-to"
She frowned "Kiito"
Cute!
He patted her on the head. "Maybe it's a little too hard for you, you can call me whatever you find easiest"
"...Papa" "M-Me?" He pointed to himself.
What?!
She turned to face me.
"Saki"
…For some reason I feel like I was rejected.
"Y-You can call me mama Yui! Would that be easier?"
"Saki"
"Why?!"
"W-Well, your name is easy to pronounce so it can't be helped" Kirito sweatdropped.
"Ah, you must be hungry Yui, I'll make some food~"
"STOP!" Kirito shouted.
"We can't go killing an innocent child just like that Saki!"
"KILL?!"
Yui looked at us curiously.
"Sure, I may be-able to handle it but..." He trailed off.
"Ne Yui~? Do you want to try my cooking? Or go to a restaurant?" I asked nicely.
"Saki's!"
"You heard her" I poked my tongue out at him.
"Yui, papa can eat her cooking but, it's really bad you know?"
So bluntly!
"If papa can eat it, then I can too!"
So cute~
We sat down in the living room, Yui and Kirito sitting on the sofa opposite to me.
I had prepared sandwiches for both of them, Yui's being much smaller though.
"Here goes nothing!" Kirito said.
"Here goes nothing!" The younger girl copied.
Silence...
"Well at least you added Asuna's special sauce..."
"D-D-Deli...cious"
I can see how you much you forced yourself to say that Yui... But that's why I'm touched at how considerate she was!
"This kid has guts!" Kirito declared giving her another sandwich.
"You want to try a full-course meal made by the one and only Saki?"
"...Mmh" Yui nodded.
"Ahem, even if I would love to do that. She shouldn't have to suffer through my cooking if she doesn't like it. We'll eat out for dinner or something." I said sternly.
"You heard her"
"You heard her"
They laughed.
Yui took a little nap after we ate.
"It doesn't seem like she remembers anything..." I said sadly.
"What do you want to do?" He asked.
"We should try looking for her relatives on some of the lower floors. But honestly, I want to spend time with her a little more..."
"Then... How about we go to the beach tomorrow?" Kirito suggested.
"Then the day after we'll go searching"
"Her parents would be very worried you know. This is quite irresponsible."
"It's just one day though" He complained.
Ahh, I really want to go too...
"It's good if Yui meets other people right? Even if they're older than her"
"I guess so" Kirito replied.
"Then let's invite our friends to the beach as well, if I remember correctly there should be one on the 15th Floor. You can invite Agil-san, Klein-san and whoever you want. I'll invite Asuna and Liz"
"Looks like you're getting into this" He laughed.
"Well... I've never been to a beach before, and with so many friends too" I said embarrassedly.
"Then let's have fun" He smiled.
"Yeah!"
I sent a message to both Asuna a Liz that went something like this:
Hello! Saki here~ Are you busy tomorrow~? I thought it'd be nice if we could go to the beach xD Yay~! It's on the 15th Floor and some other friends are coming too :D I met a little girl named Yui the other day, she suffers amnesia though:( so I'm hoping you can befriend her ;D

This was Asuna's:
Hey Saki, yeah I can take a break tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it! BTW, I have to say that I laughed at your message~ Just imagining your face like ^_^. Lol~

Liz here~! You seriously know how to make me laugh Saki! I swear just thinking how you would say that face to face. 'Yay~!' and then adding ':D' I can't stop laughing! You're more like -_- or :| Hahahaha! Oh yeah, count me in. To be able to see the beautiful beach~ Are you going to wear a cute bikini or something~? After all, Kirito might be disappointed if you don't! Are you blushing now Saki~? Do you look like (〃ω〃)? Lol~!

Liz's message... pisses me off a little. But I don't actually own any swimsuit in real life or in-game. Should I ask Asuna to get me one on the way here..? Yeah, I'll just ask for a simple plain one.
"Where are we going?" Yui asked curiously (and cutely).
"To the beach" I answered.
"Beach?"
"There's a huge body of water there that we can play in and on land we can make sandcastles" Kirito explained.
"Who'd you invite?" I asked him.
"Klein, Agil and Silica"
"Silica... As in the first player to tame a Feathery Dragon?"
"Yeah! You know her?"
"Well, isn't she popular among the middle Floors?"
"I guess so"
We entered the Teleport Gate.
"Teleport: 15th Floor" I announced and we were engulfed in light.
Surprisingly, we were the last ones there.
"Man, the one's who invited us are late!" Klein put an arm around Kirito's neck.
"You trying to stall me from seeing them in swimsuits~?" He said jokingly. Probably jokingly.
"Good to see you too Klein" Kirito replied clearly annoyed.
"It's nice to see you again, Klein-san, Agil-san. And you must be Silica-chan" I turned towards the only person I haven't met before.
"I'm Saki, it's nice to meet you"
"I'm Silica" She smiled and also introduced me to Pina, her tamed monster.
I then took Yui's hand. "Everybody, this is Yui"
She look curiously at everyone as they each introduced themselves.
But one particular introduction caught my interest.
"Hello Yui-chan, I'm Asuna"
"Auna?"
Yui tried pronouncing it.
"A-su-na, maybe it's a little too hard for you" She said patting her head.
Wait... Doesn't this scene seem familiar?
"You can call me whatever's easy for you" Asuna smiled at Yui.
"Mama"
I dropped down to my knees.
"M-Me?" Asuna questioned.
Yui nodded pointing to Kirito "Papa" the pointing to Asuna "Mama"
Do we look that bad together that even a child can tell?!
"Y-You look like you're in total despair Saki" Liz commented.
"I said you could call me whatever's easy but not that okay Yui-chan?"
She nodded dejectedly.
"In fact, you should be calling Saki 'mama' instead" Asuna tried suggesting.
Yui stared at me, and I smiled back.
"Saki"
"...WHY?!"
"Well, let's get changed then" Liz said and they all agreed.
"So did you get me a swimsuit?" I asked Asuna.
"Yeah~" She went through her inventory clicking on it to appear on her hands. "Should I send it to you?"
"Didn't I ask for something plain?"
"Aw come on Saki! It's the beach~"
I sighed. "I'm glad I brang one I bought earlier just in case"
"How mean" She pouted.
"Hurry up guys" Liz said impatiently.
"Got it" I said changing quickly.
I saw Silica putting a hand to her chest. "My size hasn't changed at all..."
"Well, we don't even know if the game makes us grow" I said reassuringly. "Plus, mine aren't that much either..."
"Oh~ Asuna has a bikini! Nice!" Liz said as Asuna came out. It had red and white stripes.
Liz had a pink one-piece that had a little bit of white, while me...
They all commented on mine:
"It's seriously plain"
"Just plain black"
"The one I got you was way better"
"Well sorry!"
Yui had to change manually since it was easier. Then we went on to meet the other boys.
It was more crowded here than I thought. Most of them would be NPC's though.
"...Don't stare at Asuna like that" I said disgustingly to Kirito who was staring at her in the distance.
He put his hands on my shoulders looking at me directly in the eye.
"Saki, even if I don't act like one most of the time, there's still that tiny part of me... That's a pervert"
The way he said it with a straight face makes me want to punch him.
"And, you're practically flat if you stand next to Asuna-san"
Saki uses uppercut! It's super effective! Kirito fainted.
I never cared about stuff like this but when he mentions it...
Klein was laughing while Agil commented "It's very rare when you're an idiot Kirito"
The other girls were already in the water playing around, so I decided to join them. Yui got along really well with Pina, quite cute.
After a lot of water fights, Liz declared we were going to do watermelon splitting.
"Do you have everything we need for it though?" I asked.
"Hohoho, I prepared everything!" She answered.
Putting cardboard on the sand, she placed the watermelon in the middle.
"I created this with some left over material I had" Liz made a very small wooden sword appear in her hands. You'd go that far?!
"And lastly, the blindfold"
"So who's going first?" Silica asked everybody.
"Do you want to have a shot Yui?"
"What do I do?"
I explained it to her.
"All you have to do is use the weapon Liz made to smash that watermelon. But you have a blindfold so you can't see where you're going"
"I'll try it!" She said determinedly. Kirito was right, this kid has guts!
I put the blindfold and turned her around three times.
"You can do it Yui-chan" The others shouted.
Seeing her wandering around trying to find the watermelon was just adorable!
She only got close but that's all, so her turn was up.
Yui was looking a little down so I patted her on the head affectionately. "You did good Yui! Just watch, Klein-san will be way worse than you" She gave a smile.
It was Klein's turn now and he was nowhere close to the watermelon, but still swung the wooden sword around shouting, and even hit a NPC. Not that he could see the warning that popped up. He made us all laugh though.
I was up next. The blindfold was put on and I was spun three times. Off I go. I remembered that before my turn Liz had told me that when you try to smash the watermelon, you have to jump high and hit really hard. I asked about the 'jumping' part if it was necessary and she said 'totally! It would make the impact much harder'
I walked straight first moving the sword around low trying to find it. I did hear some whispering from them but I ignored it.
"What are you doing Liz?" That was Kirito's voice.
"Just keep quiet and stand still" She replied.
"Hey Saki~!" It was still Liz's voice.
"The watermelon's right in front of you!" I'll trust her on this.
"Wai-"
I jumped high and struck down hard. The impact was quicker then I imagined, after all, the watermelon's on the ground. It was as if it was in the air.
"It shouldn't hurt but since she looked like she put so much strength in, I must be imagining the pain and it seriously hurts!"
Kirito?
I took the blindfold off and saw Kirito infront of me crouching and holding his head.
I see now... I fell for such a simple prank.
"Why didn't you just move?" I asked.
"Your movements are more quicker than you think Saki!" He answered.
"Well, who's next?" I asked.
"Don't ignore me!" He complained.
In the end, Liz was the one who split the watermelon. We also ordered some shaved ice, where it was so good that I got brain freeze multiple times by eating too quickly. They laughed each time I did...
"I heard that there's a volleyball competition today, but it's only for girls" Asuna started up a conversation.
"What's the prize?" I asked.
"Hmm, I think it was unlimited supply of shaved ice to keep in your inventory"
"We're going to win this" I said standing up.
"""So suddenly"""
"Who are you going to do it with?" Liz asked.
"The girls right here of course. You guys will help me, right~?"
"""Y-Yes!""" They all replied.
"But we've only got four here: Saki-san, Liz-san, Asuna-san and me, since Yui-chan can't play. Volleyball teams usually have six people right?" Silica asked.
"Don't worry, this isn't official or anything so I'm sure they'll let us off" I assured.
"Just how much do you like shaved ice" Kirito muttered.
"It's good!"
"Well let's go sign up" Asuna said.
"Who here has played volleyball before?" Liz asked.
"I played it about once in school" I said.
"Only once, how do you expect to win?!" Liz exclaimed.
"Don't worry, I'm pretty good at sports if I do say so myself"
"Are you sure you've only played once?" Silica asked.
"Yeah"
"Saki's amazing" Liz said.
We've been winning all the matches so far. We rotate and take turns for serving, when I'm in front, they pass to Liz who was next to me, and she then tosses the ball for me so I can spike it. We were doing pretty well, against real people and NPCs.
Soon after, we won the whole thing.
"Shaved ice~" I said gleefully.
"She doesn't even care for the trophy..." Silica muttered.
It was getting dark now so we decided to go back home.
"Thanks for coming guys, see you later" Kirito said waving at them. We were the first to enter the Teleport Gate.
"I had fun" I smiled.
"Bye Bye" Yui waved.
I sighed as we walked back the rest of the way. "I'm pretty tired now"
"You really are a genius at basically everything, even sports. This is why they called you a prodigy" Kirito said as he carried Yui who was sleeping.
"They?" I asked.
"It was online, and quite a long time ago I think, there was a photo of you but I could only see the side and so couldn't see your face that clearly, it was captioned: Kayaba Akihiko's daughter Rin, who is a prodigy like her father!"
"When I figured out your secret, I doubted myself at first but your features were very similar to the one I saw in the photo"
"I mean, your chest has hardly grown"
"If Yui wasn't on your back, you'd be on the floor right now"
"Hai, hai~ But strangely, the post was completely gone from the Internet the day after it was posted"
I laughed inside, that must've been my doing.
"You know, it would be pretty embarrassing for you if you guessed wrong about my identity" I laughed.
"That'd be the worse" He agreed.
We stepped into our cosy home. Walking straight to the bed I collapsed onto it, so soft.
Kirito laid Yui down on the other bed.
"I wanna sleep with Yui~" I said moving.
"Leaving me alone~?" He asked.
"Yui's so cute when she's sleeping~"
I want to have fun days like this everyday. But that wouldn't last long, an end will always come, sooner or later.

It seems that I've caused a misunderstanding for some people. So I deleted the authors note from last time.
I am very sorry to the people who thought I was abandoning this story. I had and have no intention of doing that, even if I don't update for a long time...
