Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Psychic Nightmare the 4300-word chapter. I do not own X-Men, Disney, Marvel, and a few others do.

Rachal seemed to be too interested in the next move. Zainn was paused and he seemed to be relaxed as he clicked his fingers.

Zainn sighed and watched the various mutants work as he took a comic from his backpack.

"Donnie is probably going to be ready for training soon… I hope I am ready next time." Zainn stated.

"You will be, Professor Xavier will be a lot more rigid with that," Rachal said. "Is that my mom on the cover?" Rachal asked.

Zainn paused and turned the comic over, the figure of a red-haired woman on the front cover made him blink.

"Huh. I did not think of that…" Zainn stated before Rachal rolled her eyes.

"People hate mutants but they want to make money off our image… Classic logic." Rachal muttered as Zainn set the book aside.

"Here is a question… What made you join the X-Men?" Zainn asked.

"Huh?" Rachal asked.

"Your realization. The turning point where you decided that you would be better as a superhero." Zainn stated. "Forgive the thing where I deal with not understanding hero work…" Zainn said.

"Every hero has a point where they decide they're going to use their powers to aid those weaker, more at risk," Zainn said. "If you asked me? It was seeing you guys defend us from Erik and the others. You did not hesitate to do what you had to do." Zainn stated.

"It was when I saw what the future. The future I lived in was like hell. The chaos? The pain? I could not stand dealing with people like that and I know if I try here?" Rachal started.

"There's a future worth it," Zainn said. "I told you. I do not know everything about hero work, but I am going to be trying my hardest." Zainn stated.

"I am honored to teach someone willing to learn." They heard as Beast slowly walked up.

"Professor Hank," Zainn said with a smile. "I would use your superhero name… But I would not want to offend. It is cool, though." Zainn said.

"Easy, autograph…" Rachal teased as Zainn rolled his eyes. "He is trying to master his X-Gene the best he can. It is going to be a while until he can use that power of us the best he can." Rachal stated.

"Trying my best, Ray," Zainn said, amused by it. "Professor McCoy? If I might ask? What is a regular day here like?" Zainn asked.

"Ah. It is usually full of research and training to slowly improve your gifts until you can properly use them for the betterment of everyone." Beast said. "Yet? It is not all push and shove. Professor X tries to make the X-Mansion a haven for our peers." Beast added.

"I do not mind a crash course in superhero work, Professor. It beats schoolwork… Not that I mind, just not as exciting." Zainn stated.

"Teacher's pet." Rachal joked before Zainn playfully elbowed her.

"Very amusing, lady," Zainn stated before he sighed before he looked to the ground.

"Go easy on him, Ms. Grey. Not all of us are used to our line of work." Professor X stated.

"I can do this, Professor Xavier… I want to do this." Zainn stated before he sighed to himself. "I just do not know much about that. Most about what I do about protecting the little guy is comics, a fantasy where the good guys almost always win." Zainn stated.

He was about to speak before the comic slowly was lifted off his lap by Beast and offered to Professor X who took it gingerly.

"The idea of fiction is often to make something appear more tantalizing, Zainn. It is not incorrect." Xavier stated. "I have had students who have studied heroic deeds from fiction and literature," Xavier stated.

"Comics might fictionize what we do, Zainn. They do not balk at the idea of teaching lessons and teaching heroics towards aiding those who could benefit. There are plenty of morals in fiction and themes that benefit us." Beast stated.

"Careful, you are going to make him spend his allowance on more," Rachal stated.

He had been quiet, too interested in what he would do next. Zainn was quiet before he sighed and then looked at Rachal and realized he had something to do next.

Zainn was happy here. He had been too ready to deal with being mocked for it and for seeing heroics through a comic lens.

But? He would not let them down if he could continue to keep growing more and more exhausted with what was going on before she sighed to keep thinking of what was going on before now at the end of the day.

"You should know a lot more stuff is going to happen and a lot of it is going to be dealt with for now… There are a lot of things I need to deal with before it comes down to it." Rachal stated before she sighed.

Zainn rolled his eyes and looked at her before he hummed and then looked to the side and clicked his fingers against the ground.

He had not been able to find amusement in this… All of it seemed to exist in some sort of way shape or form.

"You, ok?" Rachal asked to which Zainn stayed silent before he clicked his fingers and then slowly drummed his fingers on his knees with each little second. "We're going to be put through the wringer sooner," Rachal stated before she sighed.

Zainn hummed, too interested in what was going to be done next. There was a lot more on his mind before now and it would not be something he would do even if he was paid to have to do it… Being paid was perhaps.

He was too interested in what he could keep growing for now and then seemed to be dealing with.

Fuse seemed to be relaxed for now, too interested in what he could not have been prepared for now as he clicked his fingers once more.

She had not been able to try and yet? He paused to try and think of what was going on before it all came crashing down.

"You should know that we have a lot more to try and handle. The more we do not learn? The more you are going to struggle with." Rachal stated.

Zainn had been familiar with it that it had made him relax before he sighed.

"You, ok?" Zainn heard to which he sighed.

"There's a lot more to learn either way," Zainn stated.

He had been silent afterward. Rachal only rolled her eyes at him, she knew him in a lot of ways and not every single way was golden, such was life… And life was a lot of things now, an interesting perspective that did not entirely die out.

"We should get going," Rachal said as she uncrossed her legs under her and then thought of herself before she paused.

Zainn followed her before he yawned, looking upwards and into the sky before she sighed. Each part of her wanted to say something as they walked and she knew that it was not going to relax either way.

He had not been able to think as he followed Rachal, he was silent as she smirked. The red-headed woman was too amusing to have ended it now. She had not been able to end it more and more, to find an answer to him and other mutants like him.

"You should know that we have a lot more going on. There will always be something to learn, to grasp and understand." Rachal stated.

"To be fair? We have a lot more time to learn. We have our entire lives to grow." Zainn said.

"You sound like Professor Xavier," Rachal stated.

"He sounds like some of the mentors from my comics. The 'father to his men' type that usually leads the team from the front." Zainn stated.

"Always going to be a comic expert, aren't you?" Rachal asked before Zainn shrugged.

"Do you have another example you want me to use?" Zainn questioned. "I have a lot of examples I want to use. Rachal? I like being here and being around mutants, it is becoming cooler and cooler each little day." Zainn stated.

It was not a lie. She had known him not to lie at all and that was growing to be something else to try and figure it all out sooner or later. She had been unfamiliar with how it had been as she paused to try and deal with it for now… She had not been able to think, to act lest it all go to the dogs.

Life was odd like that and she could not allow it to be this way. It had to end a certain way lest it all crest into the ground as it all shattered into a thousand pieces now and for good as of this very moment.

Whatever was to have been dealt with as of now? He did not wish to try and think of something at all… Not when he could have properly fixed it for now… What he did do next? It would be so hard to figure out what to say next.

Rachal for her part seemed to only smirk at him before Zainn rolled his eyes, thinking of what else to try and tell her at this moment.

"You know, part of what makes me think you might have had a hand in this is the fact that I haven't known what your powers are," Zainn said before he gestured towards Professor X and Beast.

Rachal for her part stayed silent, apparently knowing what was going on, and yet? She was amused at the end of the day, knowing that she could not be allowed to relax, to let it grow this sort of way as it came down to it. She had not been able to try and figure it out.

She had not been familiar with what was growing on now, tiresome to the moment, and yet unwilling to have to deal with it for now as it came down to it, perhaps it would and should have ended a certain way.

Zainn did not know what was growing on she seemed to be dealt with for now as she paused to think of what was growing on her mind.

Zainn hummed as Rachal led him by the arm before she sighed and then thought of what was growing on her mind before she seemed to think what was growing on.

She had not been able to try and deal with it and she knew neither did he… To be fair? Zainn seemed to be relaxing as Rachal as she paused to think of what was growing on her mind.

Zainn sighed as he and she walked towards the next sort of room.

She had not been willing to smirk at him as Zainn tapped her in the side only for her to try and kick at him before he sighed and thought of what he could have possibly dealt with.

Zainn seemed to be dealing with her before she seemed to deal with it once more, thinking of what was growing on at the end of the day.

She had been familiar with it as she seemed to be relaxing for now. Zainn was tiresome now as he sighed to be dealt with.

"You, ok?" Rachal stated what was growing on his mind as he seemed to be dealing with it.

Zainn seemed to be dealt with in a few moves as he clicked his fingers before he hummed, thinking of what he would tell the other moments for now and he would not have allowed it as it came down to it.

Zainn seemed to be dealing with what was growing in his brain, he would deal with it in due time and that would be that way for now. Such would be harder to explain as both slowly started to go up onward.

He was ready to relax, letting it all grow silent before he ended it as he paused as she seemed to relax.

"You should know something? I want to point out that the more relaxing things are? The snarkier I would be." Zainn stated before he hummed and looked to the side.

He had been willing to forgive and forget but it was clear her game was not over… So, he was willing to relax now.

"Do you know what the next move is going to be?" Rachal asked before Zainn hummed.

"No, I don't," Zainn stated before he paused, thinking for a moment as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

Rachal hummed and stepped up to the top of the stairs. She had not known what was growing on before he sighed, letting it all come to a head either way, he had been tired, unable to properly think.

To be fair? Zainn did not know her, he simply thought of what he could have dealt with it as he sighed, letting it all grow either way.

He had not been familiar with what the Mutants were like, he thought of Professor X and whatever was going on. He was too interested in what was going on in his mind.

"We must meet the rest of the teachers, you already met Logan back in town… But not him off the battlefield." Rachal stated as she hummed, wanting to try and deal with it.

"Who is Logan?" Zainn asked.

"You know the guy with claws from before which could cut through anything?" Rachal asked as Zainn nodded. "That is Logan, he's called Wolverine usually. That's what people will call him most of the time." Rachal stated before she paused.

Zainn hummed before he clicked his fingers against his side, he did not know what to tell her as Rachal hummed, tapping a foot on the ground.

"The one who looked ready to cut a bus in half? That's his X-Gene? Superclaws?" Zainn asked.

"It's shrugging off gutting, Kid." Zainn heard as he paused and looked to the side.

"Damn it, Logan. You don't always have to do the super sneaky thing." Zainn heard from Rachal.

Zainn turned to see one pair of the claws extended in front of him, Zainn hummed.

"First kid I met which isn't screaming for their mama," Logan stated.

"I'm more curious why you are not one of the leaders of the team with claws like that," Zainn said. "So… What do I learn from you? How to hunt supervillains?" Zainn asked.

"How to fight," Logan said.

"You sound like a soldier," Zainn said.

"Logan was a soldier…." Rachal stated.

"We don't talk about what I used to be, kid. We both know what happened." Logan said.

"My bad…" Zainn stated before he sighed to himself and then looked to the side, knowing what was growing on his mind either way.

Logan said nothing, he could tell the kid was innocent and not eager to fight. Not once did he let it die for there was no real desire to let it end, knowing what was going on.

Rachal looked over to Zainn who was nervously playing with his zipper, perhaps scared of offending the kid more than anything else. She respected that at least as he could tell what was coming.

She felt silent for but a few moments, guessing that she had been unable to have dealt with it properly. She was more impressed by how well he was taking it than anything, though. She could guess it was perhaps dealing with it either blasted way.

She wouldn't let it end, not that way. She looked to Zainn who had cleared his throat as Rachal hummed.

"To be entirely fair? I have zero clue what your past might be." Zainn said.

"You might, Logan has a soft spot for kids. It's why he doesn't shank you… Like he jokes about." Rachal stated with a sigh as she thought of it in the most depressed way possible.

Rachal hummed as Zainn paused to let it end a certain way. She had been able to try and deal with it before she seemed to be ready to relax, she would yawn and she would not let it all come down to it.

She thought of what was growing on before she seemed to think of what was growing on her mind, she had been able to deal with it before she cracked her fingers and then looked to the side.

Perhaps it was hard to manage but it was going to be dealt with for now and she knew it. She tapped a foot on the ground but she knew that whatever happened? Whatever the goal? It would be impossible to handle.

Perhaps that was just life, she could see no recourse, only did she let it end when it could have that it was over… Anything else? And she would find it too impossible to have managed it.

To be fair? She could see Zainn was trying his best to let it all come down to it as he seemed to be dealing with it for now.

She yawned, humming for now as she looked to the side, knowing what was growing for now.

Rachal seemed to be dealing with it for now as she clicked her fingers against her side. She knew what was going on, she knew what Zainn was freaking out over for now, pausing to let himself end.

She had been ready to try and deal with it for now. She had no desire to think, whatever was next? She wasn't ready for… She wasn't going to be prepared for it either blasted way.

Zainn hummed, knowing what her next move would have been. The next phase was hard enough to deal with it as it was to have been dealt with it sooner or later.

Zainn was tired, thrown off either way. She didn't know what was growing in the brain, she had no real desire to deal with it for now, not knowing what was happening next.

She sighed, looking for a moment of peace on her mind now, she couldn't have allowed it to have been dealt with any more then she had to manage to let it all end, she had been able to deal with it for now and for good.

She had been too tired, too exhausted, and unwilling to let him rest, for now, not once desiring to let herself end.

She would not be able to relax, much less think for now as she looked over at him only to be caught entirely off guard by it.

She continued to float the books around her head, knowing what was to come and whatever was to happen next as she paused to let it all end either way, she could let it all end either way for now, knowing what was growing on her mind before now.

She sighed as she paused to let them fall as Zainn looked at her, only smirking at his priceless reaction, for now, she had no real desire to end it for now. She had no real subtlety at the end of the day, she wouldn't let it end that way if she could have done so.

Zainn only seemed to mind on the off chance it meant something to him in the small idea it did so on a scale which he had to deal with for now as he paused to let it all end, he had no real idea of it for now.

To be fair? He didn't know the reach of her power. This? This was something else to take in and he couldn't understand what was to happen next.

She had been able to think, know what would come next. She had no real desire to end it for now and she could tell that he wanted to know what he was used to let it all come to the forefront.

She had been able to deal with it as she paused to think of it at the end… She had little to nothing to try and figure out, knowing that she could and would let it end either way.

She paused, thinking of her next move, she wouldn't let it all end for the rest of the moment. Rachal could only smirk, thinking of it the best she could for now.

What little she had on her mind was chaos enough to have to deal with it sooner or later… To be fair? Rachal had zero interest in trying to be nice to someone like this before it ended, for now, she paused to let it all end.

She would not allow it to end either time, trying to figure out what was growing on her mind before she paused to let it all end as she sighed to let it come down to it.

To be entirely fair? She didn't even know what was currently going on. She knew that and she dreaded it because it was hard enough to make do with for now.

Even at the lowest level would it all end, there was nothing for now, she would let it all come down the line for now, knowing the logic would only suit him for now as he clicked his fingers on the ground.

He would not be able to exist knowing what was going on, he couldn't have let it all end for now… There was a lot more to try and figure out as Rachal hummed, tiring for now.

She had been able to relax, knowing what was going on at the end of the day… Rachal sighed and flipped his books in his hand, smirking at him as he rolled his eyes. She knew well enough that Zainn was trying to understand it all at the end of the day.

He was silent, far silent, there was something else waiting in the mist, something he didn't at all wish to deal with either blasted way.

'Is she always going to be like this for now.' Zainn sighed to himself before he relaxed to himself before he paused to let himself relax.

There was nothing more than admonishment on his mind before he seemed to be dealing with it for now as he paused to let him relax before he seemed to relax once more.

He had been able to think and relax in some sort of way, he had been always able to think of that in the best way he could.

To be honest? He didn't even know what was growing on his mind, Zainn only knew what was going on and knew he had to relax once again, he would not be able to think of it at the end of the day.

Rachal hummed and continued to think of it either way. She wouldn't let anything in the way of training… There was nothing else at the moment, an idea he wouldn't let it all come crashing down at the end of the day.

She had been able to think, knowing what was growing on her mind, knowing what was happening next.

He yawned, distracted more than anything and knowing what awaited them.

Zainn would not submit, not once and he wouldn't have allowed such a thing to know. He had to know and he would know, that would be the end of it.

He sighed, crossing his arms as he realized just what would become of it at the moment, what was going through his head as he paused to let it come to light.

He had to finish it or else he would go screaming down into the pit of his hate, knowing what he would unleash and not wanting to let it all come down to it as he paused.

He had been able to try and figure that out for a long time and it was clear more and more such things were only going to slow them down further, making it clear where they had stood as far as things like this.

To be fair? He had a lot of ideas about what would be, he had a lot more of an idea of what she was going through at the moment, a very good idea of what was going on.

"You know, the more you do that? The more annoyed I feel. I feel like I need to learn how my X-Gene works but I don't yet so I'm being sloppy." Rachal heard.

"Don't, you aren't doing something that you can't understand," Rachal stated to which he paused to think of it for now.

He was fascinated more by what his limits were at the end of the day. He clicked his fingers and then sighed and paused to let it all end for now.

Energy surged from his fingers before he relaxed before he paused to think.

"I will when you do stuff that cool when I can't even do something like energy charging or anything," Rachal stated before he paused to do it.

There was something else, something that he could click into place, it would continue to be like that.

"Rachal, can you please bring Zainn and the new students to my office?" Rachal heard over the loudspeaker.
