Hello my dears. Look another chapter that did not take a year to get to you… But holy cow! I posted and expect maybe 150 views. It hit that. Then 200. Then 250. Then 300. Then it hit 360. On the first day it was up in a year. I was blown away. A few of you favorited/followed and I thank you for that. I got a few reviews. Which if you follow along, you know that makes me very happy. The more reviews, the more I know you are enjoying the story, or not. If there is something you don't like let me know. My goal is to write a story that you will all enjoy. So review and let me know if I am doing a good job or not.

Now enough of my preach talk. You are all here for one thing. So read and enjoy. ^.^

Garrus took a few minutes before he rounded the corner to the mess area. As he stepped around the wall, he was greeted by the first two tables full of Cerberus officers and the third filled with the ground team along with John's mother and father. He found a seat with his back to the battery between John and Thane. His eyes moved up to find Jane's, sat across from John. Her silver blue orbs made contact with his for a brief second before turning back to Tali at her side, across from Garrus.

He let his attention be pulled away from the woman, who always found a way to occupy his mind, and turned to John beside him. He was still speaking with his father across the table from him. They were talking about some sort of sport team from home and how they were doing in this season. It was always fascinating to listen to alien sports. Taking a stick and hitting things with it. Taking a ball and running from other players. They all seemed a bit silly.

From down the table, a voice sounded over the chatter and drew attention of quite a few of the people at the table, including Garrus. "So Mrs. Captain Shepard, ma'am? I have always wanted to ask you about the rescue mission of Mindoir." It was Kelly Chambers. It was so like her to try to engage the one person at the table that was not in discussion with anybody.

All heads turned to Captain Shepard as she raised a napkin to her lips to clear it of any food that might be lingering before turning her attention to the red headed girl. "I will excuse it this time, as you are not part of my family and do not know how we take our meals, but battles and wars are not to be talked about over meals. They hardly ever hold any joy and sour any meal."

It was clear that the Captain was not intending to be cruel to the girl, but the hurt on Kelly's face was visible as she sank back in her chair. Garrus felt a little sorry for the curious girl who was only trying to engage in conversation with the Captain.

From down the table there was a small but loud grunt from the Krogan sitting there. Garrus had to take a moment to admire the humor of the overly large Krogan sitting in a chair that was clearly made for a human. Grunt leaned in so he could look down the table towards the rest that had turned their attention to the krogan.

"Battle is something to be proud of and the best are relived at every gathering!" Grunt nodded as he crossed his arms, a move that seemed to defend what he said. There were a few giggles from the girls that sat around Captain Shepard.

Narrowed royal blue orbs hushed them before turning and locking on the mass that was their krogan friend. "I do not doubt for a second that that is how krogans live - Mr. Grunt was it? But that is not how I run things. Not all humans enjoy battle. On most occasions, it is a necessity that they have to partake in. I myself am not proud of how many people I have killed, nor do I feel I ever will be. So talks of battle are left for times when meals are not involved as long as I am on this ship."

There was a silence that felt awkward, hanging in the air after Hannah's last word. It seemed no one wished to break the silence in fear of upsetting the Captain further. Well everyone, except Jane.

She was finishing a bite of food and laid down her fork. After swallowing, she ignored the pleading gaze from John as she turned her attention to her mother.

"To bad, this is not an Alliance ship or your own." Hard blue met with silver blue as the Captain seemed to dare her daughter to push on. And push on she did.

Lacing her fingers together, Jane rested her chin atop them as her elbows braced the table. "And although this is technically a Cerberus ship, John is the Commanding officer. It is his ship. His mission. His crew. And he has done something amazing, bringing together races and people who, for all intent, should not get along."

Garrus had to hide his smile as he watched his woman work. There were many things that drew his affection for the firey red head. The way she worked words was just one of the many sexy qualities she hid inside that beautiful and strong frame. Spirits, he would bet she could get a krogan to dance in a dress in the middle of Omega just from a few words.

"Just take a look around you, mother," Jane continued. "You have Cerberus, a human-centric alliance working with a variety of alien species. You have Jack," Jane now held her hand out to the woman a few seats from her, who seemed to not want to be involved in the conversation. "A woman, who as a child was wronged in every way by Cerberus, not only fighting with them but calling some of them friends."

There was a scuff heard from the shaved woman as she looked to Jane. The redhead offered the tattooed biotic a smile as she corrected herself. "Maybe less friends and more 'won't shoot them in the face' acquaintances." There were small fits of laughter around the table at Jane's comment.

Her attention now turned to Grunt. "There is the son of a krogan warlord seated across the table from a salarian scientist." Her eyes now turned to Samara. "An asari justicar who calls a thief as well as a former assassin friends. There are so many cultures and lifestyles living in harmony on this ship."

Her eyes now trained on her mother, almost urging her to speak out now. "If you do not wish to talk about battle that is fine, we respect that. You do not have to involve yourself in the conversation. But you can't force that rule on everyone here. We all live together peacefully because of compromise and understanding of each others beliefs and lifestyles."

Jane finished with a light smile on her lips. Her eyes bore into her mothers as they seemed to have a silent war. Everyone around the table sat still, once again afraid to break the silence. After a moment the Captains eyes moved back to her food as she lifted her fork.

"God help me, you are more and more like your father everyday," she said as she sighed, shaking her head. "Your point stands and is valid. You may continue with your conversations."

With that she began to eat. It seemed that Hannah was one who knew when she was beat in an argument. From this exchange and the Captains comment, Garrus was slowly understanding just how the pilot had been able to work his way in the cold Captain's life. The Shephard siblings must have gotten their way with words from their father.

Conversations slowly began to resume. At first it was a light murmur that grew louder as time passed. As if the small war between the Shepard women had not happened.

Garrus did not engage much in the conversations. He was content to sit back and listen. He threw his own comment here and there, depending on what the people around him were saying. Most of his attention was on Jane as she chatted with Tali. From their hushed tones and Tali's frequent glances to John it was clear that Jane was talking to the quarian about her budding relationship with the Commander.

At his side he heard John sigh as he sat back and looked over to Garrus. The turian offered his friend and Commander a smile as he noticed the Captain engaged in conversation with the girls beside her, officers from her own ship. John returned the smile as he leaned in to speak softly to Garrus.

"This was what I was afraid of. You can never place my mother and my sister in a room together for long before they start to bash heads. They never agree on anything and they're so much alike in their stubborn ways. That was actually rather tame for them."

Garrus chuckled as his gaze moved back towards Jane, catching her gaze for a brief moment before she looked back towards Tali. And yet that little glance fanned the flame inside him. It lit him up with a warmth that she seemed to always be able to fire within him and he loved it.

"Perhaps they are starting to get along better with age," Garrus said. "You might have nothing to worry about."

His comment caused John to chuckle as his gaze traveled towards his mother. "Just give it a moment," John said with a hint of dread in his voice. "There's one topic that mother can not go without bringing up and it's the one topic that usually sets Jane off."

His eyes moved to meet with Garrus's and he could see the worry there. He had only seen Jane angry a few times. One of which was when they talked about hunting Sidonis. She had been so angered by him and what he had done. And when she learned the truth of his betrayal, that it was in truth her fault in a way, she had gotten so angry, she broke down in tears. But other than that, she was happy and always enjoying life. He could not imagine what would set her off so easily.

"Oh John, have you met my Second? This is Sergeant First Class Claire Thatcher. Claire, you know of my son." Both men turned to look at the smiling blonde that was seated next to the Captain.

John offered her a smile but before he moved over to shake her hand he whispered to Garrus. "Here we go…." His smile returned as he reached across his mother to politely shake her hand. From across the table Garrus watched as Jane narrowed her eyes to her mother while Tali seemed to watch the exchange slightly concern. But the Captain paid them no mind as she continued to speak to the pair.

"Claire's grandfather is on the Admiralty Board. She is quite the fighter with an impressive resume. You two should have a sit down. I'm sure you have quite a bit in common." The Captain spoke with an even voice that did not hint at the implication that she really was actually going for.

Garrus's watched as Tali conveyed a look of defeat and sank back in her seat. Turning, he saw Jane, who looked as though she was about to say something but was cut off by her father placing a hand on her shoulder. Kane moved in to whisper in her ear and she gave a slight nod, moving back in her seat to watch the exchange with narrowed eyes. It seemed that this was the topic John was just speaking to him about. Hannah Shepard pairing her children off with people of her liking.

John cleared his throat as he offered the girl an apologetic smile. "I'm sure that we would, mother, but right now is hardly the time. We have quite a bit to do before our mission is over. So I will have to respectfully decline." He offered another smile before chancing a glance over to Tali. To her he sent a reassuring smile, showing that he was not planning on getting to know the blonde human. It seemed to perk her up as her eyes curved in the tell tale signs of a smile.

But the Captain didn't seem to like his answer and she waved it away with a hand. "Nonsense, John. There will always be time when you get back from whatever task you are partaking in at the moment." Now her eyes moved towards Jane's in a daring gaze. The look on Jane's face almost screamed, 'Do not go there.' But the sly smile on Hannah's face told her she was not going to concede to her daughter.

"Jane. Do you remember my gunnery officer a few years back? Her son was in basic with you. She contacted me the other day and apparently he has been promoted to Sergeant. You two always got along so wonderfully." Hannah's smile was more on the sly side than the sweet as she looked her daughter over. "You should really look into contacting him again and catching up."

Where John seemed to decline politely, either for fear of his mother or worry of hurting the girls feelings, Jane had no such tact on the matter. She did not seem to want to give her mother a loophole like John had and she looked her mother in the eyes.

"No mother I would rather not," she stated plainly.

Hannah scoffed as she looked her daughter over. "Come now Jane, it's about time that you stop dancing around in different flings and start to look into settling down. You are coming into that age where a woman should really start to plan for a future with someone. It is high time you stopped this teenage rebellious phase you have been going through and get serious."

Hannah's smug smile seemed to say that she was right. But Jane's eyes burned with a fire that threatened to catch her mother ablaze. The people around them grew quiet as they tried not to appear as if they were listening to the argument.

John, being the hero he usually was, tried to stop the inevitable fight before it took off. "Mother. Jane. Please, not now. This is something that should not be discussed in public."

Jane let out a small laugh as she looked over to her brother. "And why not. Afraid that people will see how much of a xenophobe our mother is?"

Hannah returned to comment with a small laugh of her own as she leaned onto the table. She took the pose that Jane had taken earlier. It seemed to be the pose that they took when they felt they were going to win an argument. Garrus couldn't help but feel a little worried. There was a chance that Hannah would be able to convince Jane that a human would be a far better partner for her. And if she was able to do that, he would lose her. The idea took hold of his heart and squeezed it in an icy grip of fear.

"I am not a xenophobe, Jane. I simply believe that most human's should settle down with their own kind. It is human nature to find a suitable partner and have children. To continue the family line. To continue the species." She moved a hand to indicate those that sat around her, mostly the ground crew at the far end of the table. "Having your fun with aliens is all good and well in your younger years. But after a while you will need to have children. You'll need to continue the bloodline. And for that you will need to find a partner that is biologically fit to give you children. You can not achieve this from drell, turian, quarian or any other race."

As the Captain finished, Garrus took a look around the table and those listening. There was a mixture of emotions on faces around him. Most of the Cerberus crew shared the same feeling as the Captain from the look of agreement on their faces. A few were nodding. But the rest at the table, the non humans, most of the ground team and a pair of Cerberus female operatives, that Garrus had once seen snuggled together and whispering in fits of giggles, seemed to either be outraged or offended.

It was clear that the Captain had a point in some ways. Garrus could understand that the continuation of a race was a very important thing. But for some people that was not the case. And as if to read his mind Jane voiced such an opinion.

"Mother how can you say that?" Jane quickly rose to her feet, causing her chair to tumble over with a clatter. "I've told you so many times that people can't control who they fall in love with. No matter the shell they are in. The heart doesn't care about race, sex or color. It only cares about the soul it bonds with. You can try to break that bond but it will always be there. Because that is love." Her eyes were hard and trained on her mother. It seemed that this was a familiar argument just as John had said.

Garrus could see the anger rise inside of Jane. He didn't want to admit that it turned him on a little. Seeing such fierceness rise up from a normally so gentle person. But then he was quickly learning there was little this woman could do that did not turn him on.

Hannah now dropped her clasped hand down to rest easy on the table, her fingers still linked together, as she pressed her point further. "Jane, you say that now, but one day you will see that there is nothing more gratifying for a woman than to give birth. To bring something you created into this world."

Her voice took on a tone that was unusually soft and held a maternal note to it. Garrus was suddenly reminded of his own mother back on Palaven and how she sounded when she explained something to him.

"And if you continue the way you are now, you might realize it too late and regret it. I am trying to save you from that regret now. One day, when you have children of your own, you will thank me."

Her smug smile was silenced by Jane's small laugh that no one at the table had expected. They all looked to Jane as if she had lost it.

"Mother, that's something that I will never be able to experience anyway." A sadness spread through Jane's eyes as they snapped to him then quickly looked away, as if to hide the fact that she had looked to him. A hint of guilt hit him as he processed what she had said. Did she already regret that she was in a relationship with someone who could not give her children?

"That is why I am trying to get you to change this silly idea of yours and get you in the right place of mind. Meet with this boy and you will see-" Hannah was cut off by Jane who held up her hand to silence her mother.

"It has nothing to do with my taste mother," Jane said. "It does not matter who I am with. You will never get a grandchild from me. Not one that I birthed anyway."

Hannah's eyes now narrowed in on her daughter in accusation. "What exactly are you saying, Jane?"

Her reply did not come from her daughter, instead it came from the far side of the table as Mordin cleared his throat.

"Infertile. Sterile. Unable to breed. Lack of ability to carry and bear children. Medical complication that arose from unseen circumstances. Sad twist of fate that robbed her of fertility back on Omega. Quite tragic."

The Captain's gaze moved to the salarian as he talked. Slowly the anger on her face faded away and was replaced by something that could be thought of as hurt and sorrow. Those royal blue orbs turned back towards her daughter.

Jane's eyes were turned to her plate as she listened to her fellow doctor. Eyes that seemed to scream an apology moved up to meet his. She didn't seem to care if others saw her look at him. She was trying to say sorry for something. But he couldn't place just what. Sorry that she couldn't bear children? They were not biologically fit to have children anyway. So why would that matter to him? He would have to ask her about that later.

"Janey, is that true?" It was Kane who spoke up now. The silent watcher. It seemed the men of the Shepard family had learned to stay out of the fights between the women. But now it was no longer a fight. This was something that was clearly a family matter. Jane simply gave a nod.

Hannah seemed stunned to a point of not being able to speak for a moment. When her words returned, it was just a single word. "How?"

"It happened shortly after I moved to Omega. There was a radiation leak."

Garrus nodded. He felt he had been far too silent this whole time, even though he felt like he should stay out of this family discussion. But from the look in Jane's eyes when he spoke, she was relieved to have him there.

"I remember that," he said. "One of the Blood Pack released a radiation leak inside one of the wards. Apparently, what we heard from the stories, there was a resident that lived there that wasn't paying what he owed to the Blood Pack. So they felt the best way to punish him was to kill off the whole ward." Of course Garrus remembered. One of his team joined shortly after the incident. His wife had been in the wards at the time and died. Another innocent brought down on Omega, simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jane nodded as her eyes lingered on him. Those silvery blue stars that always drew him in. He tried to convey in his look that she still meant everything to him despite the recent turn of events. That he didn't care that she couldn't bear children. She was all that mattered to him.

Her smile showed that she understood for the most part. Her attention moved to her mother to continue the explanation.

"I had just started work with Mordin when the call came in. We rushed to aid those that made it out. But so many were still trapped inside, unable to move. So I dressed in a hazmat suit and made my way in, to help those that I could. I got at least 10 people out before I started to feel ill and passed the job off to the next in line ready to help. Luckily I did not receive any radiation poisoning. But there was one side effect." She raised her shoulders to indicate that it was something she could not help now. "I can no longer have children."

The table sat in silence at her declaration. A few at the table broke the uneasy air by suddenly realizing that they were needed elsewhere, and departed from the gathering. It was a way to give the family some time alone without rudely standing up and leaving. Hannah sat with a look of uncertainty on her face. It seemed that she simply could not believe that her daughter would never birth a child, and not because of her taste in partners.

Jane offered an uneasy smile. "If you'll excuse me, Captain - I've lost my appetite. It was lovely seeing you again." With that she turned and moved away from the table, not caring if the Captain excused her or not. But instead of heading towards her room she made her way towards the elevator.

Garrus fought the urge to run after her. To find her and console away the hurt that she was showing. But that would have been far to clear a sign of his intent. So his was forced to sit and stare after her. But Spirits bless John, he might have been clueless to their relationship but in this moment he saved Garrus from going mad.

The Commander leaned in to whisper in his ear. "I'm worried about her. Will you go check on her? Make sure she doesn't lose it somewhere on the ship. I would go, but I have to stay with mother."

A sense of guilt washed over him as he looked at his friend. He was trusting him to go and comfort Jane. And he had plans to do so and much more when he found her, which was probably not what the Commander had in mind. Nodding, he rose to his feet at the same time as Kane did. The human male moved with him away from the table to walk towards the elevator. They both waited for the doors to open.

"It looks like we both have the same goal," Kane said. "Don't worry, Garrus. I will have a few words with her and then leave her in your hands. I'm sure you'll do far more mending than I ever could." The human smiled at him as he stepped inside the elevator. Garrus could not help but smile as he followed him in. Maybe it wasn't so bad that the Shepherd father knew about their relationship. It might just come in handy.

As the doors closed, Kane looked towards Garrus. "Where do you think my daughter would have run off to? She would most likely want to be alone."

Garrus nodded as he thought the question over. She probably didn't go to her room which would be the first choice. He really doubted that she would go to John's room and the command deck was far too open to hide there. That left the cargo hold and the generator room. His eyes moved to meet Kane's.

"Let's head towards the cargo hold. There should be no one there. It would be the best place to start and then work our way from the bottom to the top."

Kane nodded as he selected the floor and they waited for the elevator to crawl slowly towards the bottom of the ship. The silence between them was calm and not in the least awkward. As they neared the bottom, Garrus began to feel a little nervous; he was not sure why. It might have to do with that pained look that had been in Jane's eyes as she spoke. Or it could have been his eagerness to console her and the worry that he might not be able to. Either way, the doors opened and he just knew she was there.

As both men stepped out of the elevator, it was easy to find her sitting on one of the many boxes in the cargo hold, of to the side and out of sight of the viewing window high above them. Kane was the first to move to approach her, as she sat with her chin and hands resting on her knee propped up on the box. Her eyes met them, sad but thankfully not filled with tears. Garrus didn't know what he would have done if she had been crying. He might not have been able to give Kane his moment with her before he seized her up and began kissing away the tears.

Garrus hung back as Kane moved over to sit next to her. It was easy to hear what they were saying, even without trying to. His attention was wandering around the cargo hold so that it did not appear as though he was waiting on them, even though he was.

"So that was a little rough, wasn't it my little Janey?" Kane chuckled as a smile spread across Jane's face. She moved her arms behind her so she could brace herself as she leaned back. Her eyes did not meet her fathers or Garrus's as stared to the top of the cargo area.

"I never thought it would need to be brought up, ya know," she said. "Part of me knew that she would keep pushing human boys on me until I broke and told her, but part of me hoped that she would eventually give up and would leave me alone." A defeated sigh left her as she let her gaze move towards her father. "Do you think she finds me even more useless now?"

Kane's smile was bright and warm as he rested his hand on his daughters shoulder. "I don' t think that your mother ever found you useless. Maybe, and unfairly, less of an accomplishment than John. But she's still proud of you for some of the things you do." Kane released a sigh of his own as he looked down to the floor. "You know that your mother is military before anything. It's all about results and deeds. When you left the field to join a medical career, she was hurt but was at least glad that you were still in the Alliance. Then, when you abandoned the Alliance all together, she took it as almost a slap in the face. It took months to convince her you were following your own path and would still do the right thing." Kane's hand moved from her shoulder to rest on her back, rubbing small circles of reassurance. "I believe that her need to find you a partner within the Alliance is just a way to bring you back into her fold again. You know how she hates to not have control of everything, and on occasions everyone, around her."

Jane nodded as she rested her head on his shoulder and looked up towards Garrus. He locked his gaze with her as his mandibles fluttered in a charming manner. It seemed Jane could not help but smile at that. Kane patted her knee as his looked up towards Garrus as well. "Enjoy your life, my little shooting star. The shock of this will wear away and be nothing one day. Just a bump on the road of your life." His gaze now moved back to Jane with a smile. "Be with this man you love. Life will be better if you are with him. You will be able to face anything that comes your way with him by your side."

Garrus's eyes grew wide as he looked towards Jane, whose eyes were equally as wide looking back at him. She loved him? He knew that she really liked him. But to say she loved him? It caused his heart to swell with love and devotion of his own. He knew how he felt about her. Knew that she was slowly becoming the center of his world. But to hear that she was in love with him, it took their relationship to a new level.

His attention was drawn towards Kane who stood up and kissed the top of Jane's head. "Now, I leave you in more capable hands than my own." A smile spread across his face as he walked towards the elevator, unaware of the ripples he just caused. At the doors he paused and looked back towards the pair. "I'll keep everyone away for the time being - give you guys some time alone. Just be mindful of the window." His laugh echoed his departure as the elevator doors closed.

Jane seemed to shift her gaze away from Garrus as he came towards her. Her uncertainty seemed to radiate off her as she tried to look everywhere but to him. As he stopped in front of her, he clasped her chin and lifted her gaze towards his own. His mandibles shifted slowly in slight unease. He was going to ask. Part of him thought that it was a bad idea - but he wanted to know.

"Jane, you love me?"

His eyes searched her own as she seemed to think about the answer. She had already confessed that she wanted to give him all of herself. But that and love were two different things. He held his breath waiting for a reply.

Her head nodded as her gaze dropped away. "I really do. I know you would think it is too soon. I mean, we only really started dating three days ago. But I was hooked on you long before that. Even before I met you. When I heard Sidonis speak of Archangel's adventures and good deeds, I began to idolize him. What girl wouldn't want to be with a superhero?" She sighed as she looked back up towards him. Her eyes told him she was afraid for him to hear this. But now that she had started she very well couldn't stop. "And then I met you and you truly are like a superhero. Always wanting to do right by the little guy. Always ready to help. When you first walked into that room in the Blue Suns base and turned to look at me, I was lost. And from there it was all downhill; I fell deeper and deeper until I fell in love."

Her eyes now looked away as if ashamed. "And now I fear I might have scared you away. Being that girl that is too quick to fall in love or something. It's just that - it has never felt this right! To tell you the truth, it even feels more right than back when…" Her hand now took hold of the turian dog tags around her neck.

Garrus had reached his limit. He took hold of the back of her neck and pulled her plump lips to his lip plates. He knew the action took her by surprise by the little gasp she made. He took the opportunity to push his tongue into her mouth. At first she was timid, unsure of what exactly was happening. And he couldn't blame her. He had never been the one to kiss first. She had always started any kiss they share. Now it was his turn to be the one that took initiative.

Once the shock wore off, her hands were around his neck and her tongue was joining him in a battle of domination between each others mouth. One not fully giving in to the other. Slowly, as the sudden urge to have her, eased into a steady need, he pulled away and began to plant small nips and licks down her neck, speaking as he did so.

"You consume me like a black hole, Jane Nash. There is no way that you can scare me away. Not now, when I know you care for me in the way I care for you. For me it started on Horizon."

He broke away from her neck to rest his forehead against hers. His blue eyes met her silver blue ones as he spoke to her from his heart. "I started to notice you in a way a friend should not notice a friend. After time it started to become something more. And when we went against Sidonis, afterwards all I wanted to do was stop the pain you felt. I realised I was hooked. From then on, I could have been yours at any time, but I was afraid to act. Afraid that you would turn me down or worse tell John." He shook his head as his gaze dropped for a second before return to her own.

The grin on her face was wide and warm, welcoming him in. Her fingers trailed from his neck to run along his mandibles with a light touch that could almost be ticklish if it wasn't such a turn on. "We are two of a kind, no? Both so into each other for so long and both so afraid to act." She chuckled as she let her eyes drift close.

"You know we have plans to hit Omega after this, help Samara out with her daughter." Her eyes opened now to look into his own, searching for a question she had yet to asked. "If John doesn't need either one of us, would you be willing to make a trip with me to my old apartment?"

It was not exactly the question he had thought she was going to ask but Spirits damn him if he said no to her. Any request that she had for him he would gladly do. His nod told her his sureness as well as the graze of his fingers on her cheek.

"Of course I will help you out. What are you needing? Is there something you forgot to get when we left Omega the last time?" He thought that she had gotten most of the important things out of her little apartment right after they left the Blue Sun base. Did she forget a few books or something?

Her sweet giggle brought his attention fully to her again as she let her fingers travel from his mandibles, down his neck and onto his chest. Her eyes took on a lusty gaze as she looked up towards him. "Yeah I did. A bed where I can rightly give you your punishment without the worry of shipmates or brothers."

His mandibles spread in surprise before fluttering into an excited smile. He stroked his way down her spine to the small of her back. With a quick pull she was up and in his arms with her legs wrapped around his waist. Small nips to her neck caused her to moan lightly as one hand braced her back, the other traveling lower to run over her rear.

"I'm sure that I can find time to make it happen. I'll even throw in a few mentions to John on how well Thane seems to get along with our justicar friend. I'm sure he'd like to help her out with this daughter thing." Jane giggled as she moved to kiss him once more. Her sweet lips covering his own. But like always, something had to ruin their fun. And once more it was in the form of the mechanical voice from above.

"I hate to interupt, but Commander Shepard is searching for you, Miss Nash and is currently on his way towards you now."

Jane sighed as she eased out of Garrus's grip and onto the floor. Her eyes moved to the ceiling in an attempt to address the AI, "Thank you, EDI."

She looked back to Garrus with a devious grin. Her finger came up to poke him in the chest. "You. Me. Omega. No interruptions." With that she turned and moved to wait for John to come down the elevator. Garrus could not bite back the smile that spread over his face.

He had never been so excited for a mission that he wasn't even going to be on.
