Ch. 4: Akushon no janguru no yōji

As Kala herds her nieces to a safe area, Kerchak went on the defensive before shifting to offense, as he uses his brute strength to weaken the leopard, but Sabor, a large leopard with a slender, strongly built form that allows quick movement when hunting down prey, proves to be a difficult opponent, as she moves around to avoid getting caught, causing Kerchak to struggle in trying to get a hold of the female leopard.

"What's the matter, ape?"

"Tch!"

"Cant lay a finger on me…?"

"Damn you…!"

"Just give it up!"

"I won't!"

"Hand over this Izuku and I will spare you!"

"Don't screw with me!"

Izuku watches the scene and observed, seeing that Kerchak couldn't match Sabor's speed and became worried as Sabor's claws landed several scratches on the patriarch ape, wounding him, and there Sabor demanded that he hand over Izuku or else she would slaughter everyone here, much to Kerchak's anger, as he would not let Sabor lay a claw on his family no matter what.

"I said I am an impatient animal…"

"Damn you…!"

"Give me Izuku now!"

"Don't you dare order me around!"

"Looks like I might enjoy a little snack before I resume my hunt…"

"…"

"Time to die…"

"Damn you…!"

Kerchak was starting to lose his cool as Sabor once more made more threatening remarks about slaughtering everyone here if her demands are not met, and made a concentrated effort to try and get his hands on the cunning leopard, and for once, the ape managed to land a punching blow on the leopard's face, which rattled her but she managed to keep her wits up.

"Take that!"

"OOF!"

"And that!"

"Ha-ha…a lucky punch!"

"Damn you!"

"So you do have something…"

"I'll kill you!"

"Really…?"

Feeling confident, Kerchak attempted to keep the momentum going and tried to goad Sabor into coming closer, which somewhat worked as he is able to land a few blows but the leopard's agility enabled her to evade more impact from the patriarch ape, hence she managed to avoid getting disabled from Kerchak's critical blows from his punching strikes.

Once more Kerchak is starting to lose momentum as Sabor began to move around in a zigzag motion to confuse her opponent as she is now trying to disorient and weaken him so as to make a preemptive strike as she cannot afford to get hit again and give the patriarch ape a chance to hit another lucky strike.

"Stay still!"

"Ha-ha!"

"Come back here!"

"Ha-ha…finally lost some steam?!"

"Damn you!"

"Its my win…"

"I'll kill you!"

"Really…?"

Needing to land a critical blow, Kerchak feigned weakness and Sabor took the bait and came closer, and Kerchak took the opportunity to try grabbing the leopard by the throat and strangle her so as to prevent her from moving around and put a stop to her unpredictable actions for once and for all.

Unfortunately, Sabor soon got the advantage and pinned Kerchak to the ground, and is ready to inflict a fatal strike when Izuku grabbed Sabor and kicked her back, telling her that she will get her wish, revealing his name and this caused Sabor to stare in disbelief, seeing that Izuku is human and not an ape, as it turns out that the wild dogs failed to inform her that Izuku is human and not an ape.

"Huh? You?"

"Yeah. I'm Izuku! You got what you want! I'm the one you seek!"

"I can't believe this! You're a human? I thought you just another ape!"

"Huh…?"

"Well, fine! If the wild dogs are having problems because of you…then I'll accept the challenge!"

"What do you want with me?"

"To kill you…and to show that I'm the most dangerous apex predator! And if I kill you it would boost my reputation!"

"You wish…"

As Kala went to help Kerchak up, he feels humiliated at being pinned down by a leopard, and now he had begrudgingly let Izuku deal with the marauder even though he sees Izuku as not part of the family, but Kala told Kerchak that regardless of what Izuku is, the boy was still part of the family and that's all that matters.

"Now, now…"

"Damn…so in the end I have to rely on him…"

"Easy now…Izuku is part of the family…"

"…"

"He protected us…so…"

"…"

"Have faith in him…"

"…"

As Sabor is bracing herself, she raised an eyebrow upon noticing that Izuku is poised to strike and is moving like an ape does, which baffled her as for her, it is clear that Izuku is human yet he moves around like what an ape does and she wondered if Izuku is just psyching her out or if he is trying to catch her off-guard and try launching a sneak attack.

Izuku maintain his distance while waiting for the right time to launch a preemptive strike, and there he tells a cautious Sabor that she will regret messing with his family, which greatly confused the leopard, and she asked if he is trying to confuse her, telling Izuku that he is not an ape, but Izuku did not seem to understand as he still believe that he is, as he is unaware of his true heritage and the difference between apes and humans.

"Are you confused?"

"Huh?"

"Do you truly believe that you're an ape?"

"I am one!"

"You are a strange one…"

"…"

"But then…I must kill you!"

"You wish…"

The scene shifts in Japan, where you can see that the place shifts to Aichi Prefecture, located in the Chūbu region of Honshū: 11, 126 Aichi Prefecture has a population of 7,552,873 (as of 1 October 2019) and a geographic area of 5,172.92 square kilometres (1,997.28 sq mi) with a population density of 1,460 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,800/sq mi). Aichi Prefecture borders Mie Prefecture to the west, Gifu Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture to the north, and Shizuoka Prefecture to the east.

Nagoya is the capital and largest city of Aichi Prefecture, and the fourth-largest city in Japan, with other major cities including Toyota, Okazaki, and Ichinomiya. Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya form the core of the Chūkyō metropolitan area, the third-largest metropolitan area in Japan and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world: 685 Aichi Prefecture is located on Japan's Pacific Ocean coast and forms part of the Tōkai region, a subregion of the Chūbu region and Kansai region.

Aichi Prefecture is home to the Toyota Motor Corporation. Aichi Prefecture had many locations with the Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens, The Chubu Centrair International Airport, and the Legoland Japan Resort.

Located near the center of the Japanese main island of Honshu, Aichi Prefecture faces the Ise and Mikawa Bays to the south and borders Shizuoka Prefecture to the east, Nagano Prefecture to the northeast, Gifu Prefecture to the north, and Mie Prefecture to the west. It measures 106 km (66 mi) east to west and 94 km (58 mi) south to north and forms a major portion of the Nōbi Plain. With an area of 5,172.48 square kilometres (1,997.11 sq mi) it accounts for approximately 1.36% of the total surface area of Japan. The highest spot is Chausuyama at 1,415 m (4,642 ft) above sea level.

The western part of the prefecture is dominated by Nagoya, Japan's third largest city, and its suburbs, while the eastern part is less densely populated but still contains several major industrial centers. Due to its robust economy, for the period from October 2005 to October 2006, Aichi was the fastest growing prefecture in terms of population, beating Tokyo, at 7.4% and around with after Saitama next scene shifts at a dojo, where Martial Arts teacher is giving lectures to his students, and at the sidelines, a four-year old girl is watching, whose appearance showed that she has teal eyes and long orange hair that she typically wears tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair sticks up in large tufts at the top of her head.

The next scene shifts at a corporate building, where a wealthy businessman is seen giving a child a tour, showing her the various areas where business is being commenced and how executives and employees are working, how to make money, business deals and how making the business grow and thrive, which made the little girl, aged four years old, fascinated by how successful the business is.

The little girl is identified as Momo Yaoyorozu, and she is following the businessman, who appeared to be the company president, and is revealed to be Momo's father, where he told his daughter that once she grows up to become a teenager he will teach her everything and how she would act like a PROPER LADY, which an excited Momo nodded in obedience, eager to learn anything from her father.

"So, Momo...do you wish to become a PROPER LADY...?"

"Yes, daddy!"

"Are you willing to learn everything."

"Yes, daddy!"

"Good. When you get a bit older I will teach you everything."

"Yes, daddy!"

"Good girl. Let's go."

"Yes, daddy!"

Mr. Yaoyorozu then led his daughter as they went towards the factory area where workers are preparing the supplies that are scheduled to be delivered to various business clients and suppliers, as well as to ensure that everything is met, and there he told the workers to make sure that everything is well-inspected before sending them for delivery.

The workers roared in acknowledgement and agreement, assuring Mr. Yaoyorozu that everything is under control and that there won't be any screw-ups and such.

"Yes, boss!"

As the Yaoyorozu father and daughter left, they went to the corporate president's office, where he glanced at Momo, seeing that she is all pumped up, which he approached his daughter and is pleased at seeing her enthusiasm, and tells her that later on he will give her private lessons so that she would learn the ropes of the business and financial world, as well as saying that in over 10 years from now they are going on a trip at the jungles of Africa to have a wildlife tour, which Momo was looking forward in excitement upon hearing this.

"You're excited, Momo?"

"Yes, daddy!"

"Do you really want to travel to the African jungle?"

"Of course! Want to see lots of animals!"

"But for that to happen, I must train you. Train you on how to handle people living in foreign countries"

"Then train me, daddy!"

"Are you sure, Momo?"

"Yes, daddy!"

Back at the jungles overseas, Sabor is looking agitated and rattled, as she finds herself on the defensive for the first time, as she is shown to have lots of bruises on her body due to being struck several times by Izuku, who managed to keep up with the leopard's speed and timed the strikes, and landed a few critical blows on the cunning leopard.

Izuku, for his part, is not entirely untouchable, as he also bore injuries from deep scratches and random bite strikes, as he is bleeding from the arms and legs, but he remained focused, and Sabor demanded to know why a human thinks he is an ape, pointing to Izuku, which the innocent boy doesn't believe her as he is sure that he is an ape.

"Are you truly out of your mind?"

"Huh?"

"Do you actually believe that you're an ape?"

"Yes! Because I am one!"

"You are a strange one…a fool at that…believing that you're an ape…"

"…"

"But then…I must kill you! Right now!"

"You wish…"

Not far, some of the wild dogs who hired Sabor to act as their enforcer, were watching from behind the trees, and they were in disbelief that a mere human child was able to stand up against an apex predator like Sabor, as they are sure that Sabor would make minced meat out of Izuku, as it showed that the wild dogs have underestimated the little boy, unaware that Izuku possessing a strong Quirk.

"Looks like that guy is a match for Sabor…"

"Yeah…"

"So we better root for Sabor. You with me, guys?"

"Yeah…"

The scene shifts back to the scene of the battle where Sabor tried to catch Izuku off-guard by doing a feint, which somewhat worked as she is able to pin Izuku down while impaling her fangs on his left arm, which shocked Kala while Kerchak solemnly said that Izuku is done for, which Kala is shocked by her mate's defeatist attitude.

However, Izuku was able to assess and did a counterattack by delivering a straight punch to Sabor's jaw that was powered by his Quirk.

"Congo Crush!"

The blow sent Sabor flying before colliding against a thick tree, and there Izuku gets up and grabbed the leopard by the throat and told him that she will definitely regret coming here and cause trouble before landing a decisive blow to the now-defeated leopard.

"Nigerian Knuckle!"

Another strong punch powered by his Quirk sent the leopard to the skies, where she is now out of sight, and Izuku won, where he approached Kala and an equally-injured Kerchak, which the latter just looked at the ground, reluctant to admit that Izuku saved the day, and the trio decided to head home to have their injuries treated.

The wild dogs who are spying, were in a state of disbelief upon seeing that Sabor was defeated and now they have no idea how to tell the rest of the pack about what they saw a while ago.

"Am I dreaming…?"

"Yeah…"

"Is this a nightmare…?"

"Yeah…"

His first years growing up in the jungle nets him his first challenge in the form of Sabor, as she is targeting Izuku…and how the battle went even though Sabor was the clear favorite until the tables were turned and Izuku emerged victorious…

Yaoyorozu is introduced, and this serves as a catalyst for their eventual encounter…
