The forgotten ark
Chapter 3: revelations of the past and the future.
The students of monster university stood in awe as Dylen crodavich/Sullivan the now famous half-human half monster student had begun to clash swords with someone who was the same race as he was(albeit the opponent fully human).
"i hope Dylen will come out of this alive" Sulley said in a rather worrying tone
"i hope so to" randall said who just happened to be Sulley's boyfriend who Dylen had met three weeks ago. randall and sully had been dating for some time according to their mother and had grown very close to Dylen.
The sword fight had been going on for nearly 20 minutes with Dylen constantly switching between a forwards and backwards fighting style. The way dylen moved during the fight made it look like he had been taught by a professional instructor.
"heh, you're good" Dylen said wiping some blood from a small cut he got on his cheek
"you've gotten better to" said the man
"it sounds like you know me. Why is that?" Dylen asked
"lets just say I'm was an assassin that had been hired to kill you back the human world, our version of earth." The man said
"what!"Dylen exclaimed
"you don't remember anything do you, well then I'll tell you." The man said as he proceeded with telling Dylen his past
"you know why you have that sword with you?" the man asked
"no, all I know is that I had it for a long time." Dylen responded
"well lets just say..." the man tried to finish his sentence before being interrupted by Igtenos
"that's enough!" Igtenos exclaimed
"Igtenos what the hell?" Dylen asked his sword
"looks like you're little pal doesn't want you to know you're past." The man said in a cocky tone
"what the hell is with my past and why is it so important." Dylen said
"bocchan( Japanese for young master) don't entice him. Somethings are better to be left unknown." Igtenos said in assertive tone
"Igtenos butt out!" Dylen yelled to his beloved sword
"fine don't say i didn't warn you" Igtenos said sarcastically
"now tell me about my past damn it" Dylen said angrily while pointing Igtenos at the man
"want me to tell you, then fine. You Dylen crodavich are a part of a long line of government and military officials." The man said
"and your point is?" Dylen questioned
Because you were next in line for to command an extremely powerful warship." Said the man
"what does that to do with anything?"Dylen asked
"because... the said warship was hidden somewhere here in the monster world." The man answered
"what! why is it here?" Dylen asked with surprise
"like I said you were to command this ship... but it was to destroy the monster world."
Everyone in the crowd gasped in horror at what they just and Dylen felt his body go cold because of what he had heard.
"that can't be true!" Dylen cried out in denial
"looks like you're tumble through that portal gave you amnesia." The man said
"what portal?" Dylen asked the man
"well our world was aware of the monster world but unfortunately not many humans got along with them so we decided to get rid of them. You refused to take part in this endeavor and with that you took a few of your things and ran off, however you must have knocked you're head in the portal, hence why you have amnesia."
"just how the hell do you know all this?" dylen asked
"because I'm you're uncle Lyell dylen" Lyell replied
"what?"dylen asked
"that s right i wanted to kill you to take control of the ark."
"I'll gonna kill you!" dylen yelled out in a rage "hurricane thrust!" he yelled out
"not so fast! Cyclone!"lyell yelled out
Both men were caught in violent gusts of wind with a lot of dirt being kicked around. When the wind died down the students saw that both men were badly injured from the wind.
"you certainly got stronger dylen. I'll retreat for now." Lyell said who vanished into thin air
Dylen felt weak after his uncle left and fainted in only a few seconds. After at least 20 minutes dylen woke up to find himself covered in bloody bandages. He took a look at his surroundings to only see that he was in the school infirmary
"dylen!" George yelled out excitedly lunging out to hug his boyfriend
"I'm so happy you're alright!" George said excitedly while nuzzling up against dylen affectionately
"how did I get here George?" dylen asked George
"oh me Sulley and Randall brought you up here." George said
"oh uh well thank you." Dylen said gently returning George's loving affection
"oh by the way I've been meaning to ask are Randall and sully dating? They seem quite close." George asked
"yes they are." Dylen responded rather weakly
"for how long?"george asked
"about five years almost, their five-year anniversary tomorrow actually." Dylen responded
"wow that long huh? They must really love each other" george said
"yeh they do, just as much as i love you."dylen said with george blushing as a result
"awww shucks you..." George started to say
However before george could finish his sentence several mor people came in, namely the rest of the jaws theta chi fraternity, omega howl fraternity, randall and Sulley.
"ohh thank god you're alright dylen." Leon said letting out a big sigh
"hey I don't go down so easily." Dylen said with a smirk
"ordnung(German for alright) enough with the joking around." Said one of Dylen's fellow omega howl frat brothers who was a giant bear like monster with fuzzy red fur
"is Friedrich always this stuck up?"dylen asked
"I'm not always stuck up." Friedrich replied getting all flustered
"alright calm down bro." Said Sammy another omega howl who happened to be a scaly green lizard monster like Randall
"so about that man?" Leon asked
"yes he is my uncle." Dylen replied
"wait so you remember you're past now?" Sulley asked
"yes i do." Dylen responded
Percy put his had up to dylen a question but dylen interrupted "no I will not use the ark and even if I did I don't know how to use it?
"how come? Randall asked
"because the ark was apparently abandoned over 1000 years ago and was only recently unearthed back on my planet." Dylen said grimly
"what kind of powers does it have?" Sammy asked
"ever watch star wars?" dylen asked
"yeah what that got to do with anything? Friedrich asked
"Well the ark sorta like the death star but only has enough power to devastate entire country's" dylen responded with everyone gasping in horror at this statement
"so what are you gonna do about it?" Roy asked
"I'm gonna destroy it"
"WHAT!" everyone said in unison
" you heard me." Dylen said
"good choice, that is why you're mother gave me to you." Igtenos said
"huh?" dylen said cocking his head a little
"me and the other four Swordians were spread out across time and space to five people to destroy the ark." Said Igtenos showing his hologram from the jewel on the swords hilt
Where are the other four?" dylen asked
"Atwight and Chaltier were given to human twins in the world opposite the monster world and Dymlos had been sent back in time to 1930's america,you're america dylen, and Clemente had been sent to 1850s England. Speaking of which it would seem Dymlos is near." Said Igtenos
After which a young red-headed human boy with freckles who looked no older than fifteen wearing suit that was straight out of the 1930s popped in
"looks like you were right dymlos Igtenos and his master are here." Said the boy
Everyone looked at him with wide eyes
"ohh sorry forgot to introduce myself. The names larry Irving." The boy said while holding his hand top dylen
"nice to meet you larry the names dylen." Dylen respond while shaking larry's hand
"hello Igtenos it has been a while" dymlos said
Yes it indeed has, bocchan here has taken great care of me in the past several years." Igtenos said
"that's good to hear oh and Clemente and his mistress should be here any minute now" dymlos said
But as soon as he said that a human girl walked in. She looked to be the same age as larry and was wearing a fancy dress indicating she was likely a noble, had long brunette hair and had Clemente hanging on her back.
"am I late?" the girl asked
"no you're good, you must be the girl who has Clemente." Dylen said
"yes that is me, my name is Sarah Layton" she said
"well we better get going come on guys lets go." said Roy
"we better go to come on you five." said Leon
"We better go to." Sulley said
After that jaws theta chi, omega howl, Randall and sulley were gone leaving the three young Swordian masters
"we should get some rest its like 11:05" dylen said looking at the clock
"yes i agree we will have more time to get acquainted with each other in the morning" Sarah said
