...

You are the hole in my head
You are the space in my bed
You are the silence in between
What I thought and what I said

You are the night time fear
You are the morning when it's clear
When it's over you're the start
You're my head, you're my heart

No light, no light in your bright blue eyes
I never knew daylight could be so violent!
A revelation in the light of day
You can't choose what stays and what fades away

And I'd do anything to make you stay
No light, no light
...No light...
Tell me what you want me to say

"Time has been distorted..." Hotaru said staring at the two Senshi by her bedside. Haruka sat with her head up now, but she still kept her fingers curled around Hotaru's hand as the girl continued to speak with her eyes hard and unforgiving. "A paradox has changed the future. We have to fix it!" Hotaru's left arm raised and her hand remained tightly fisted as she spoke. "We must join Sailor Moon and the others." The other two glanced at each other nervously.

"We-"

"You have been having dreams." Hotaru spoke before they could get a word of objection in. "I know you have. I have seen you." The girl looked at each of them in the eyes for a moment. They had dreamed... but they had never seen her. She had stayed back taking in everything: The dark silhouettes of each of the Senshi at the bottom of the steps as Hotaru had lifted her head to see Neo Queen Serenity reaching out for her.

"Hotaru-chan..." And then with that would come the paradox's cold reminder. Her memories of the past, the future, replaying.

"We must go to her." Hotaru said. "She has the only thing that can fix this entirely. As long as Pluto remains missing, she is our only chance."

"But, we can't join the others." Haruka complained. "Its not our duty. We have to stay-"

"No, it is." Hotaru said. She needed them to just listen to her. "We were reborn in this time for one reason: to be with our Princess, our Queen." The other two shared one more glance.

"But, Sailor Saturn cannot be awaken... The three Talismans must not be gathered together." Hotaru let go of Haruka's hand and moved to stand up. The other two watched her in strange silence unsure of what to make of everything.

"My power has been awakening slowly for years now. Ever since I was involved in a fire when I was little." Hotaru told them. "I was able to remember what the paradox took away, but after my initial remembering I found myself unable to use much of my power in a controllable aspect. I had to channel it into different outlets, but... I was not always successful in hiding it." All of those unfortunate classmates... Hotaru's eyes closed and she appeared to be thinking. "It had awoken too violently and suddenly. You're right, The Talismans have always been the key to my awakening, there has never been an expectation." She paused and her eyes opened. "And now is no different." Hotaru pressed her hand to her heart and a purple light appeared underneath her palm. Then her hand outstretched and a shining crystal appeared before them in her grasp.

"That's..."

"My Sailor Crystal." Hotaru told them, and the phrase seemed familiar to them in the back of their minds. "It is the source of my power, and it has been trying to break free of its sleep ever since I produced the explosion that destroyed Pharaoh 90 in the lab." She explained, but they didn't fully understand what she meant. "It... remembers." She spoke referring to the crystal as a living thing. "It remembers the power it used to wield, and it remembers, vaguely, that The Talismans have been gathered. Just, not in this past." Hotaru put her hands back to her chest and the crystal disappeared. "I can only use a portion of my power as the crystal continues to evolve, but unless The Talismans are gathered, I will never be able to control the full extent of my powers."

"C-can you transform?" Michiru asked still nervous towards her abilities. Hotaru's faint smile appeared and her whole face softened. The two adults held their breath as they waited for her to answer...

"My visions have been distorted..." Rei said softly staring into the flames of The Sacred Fire as Minako stood behind her. The brunette turned to face her as the blonde stood slightly paler than usual.

"Last night..." Minako began stepping into the room and Rei turned to face the fire once more. "What did you see?" She asked. "You must have seen something..." Rei nodded and Minako sat down next to her. Rei's eyes closed and she bent her head downward. She hadn't slept much, and after the vision she had been filled with utter terror. What had it meant? "Something happened last night, I felt it, the others felt it..." Rei nodded. It had been to strong for any of them not to feel it. The ominous feeling still lingered in the room where the vision had frightened Rei. She had been unable to see anything else or explain it at all. She couldn't believe what it had implied: that the royal family was threatened somehow. That was all Rei let herself think it implied, but in truth it implied something much darker. It had implied that the royal family was not just threatened, but completely ended. "What do we do?" Minako asked trying to get Rei to answer her after a minute had passed since Rei had revealed the sign she had seen in the fire. Rei opened her eyes and shook her head.

"I don't know." She said. "We can't do anything against something we know nothing about. Its just a feeling at the moment. We have nothing to lead us. No clues, no answers, nothing." Rei sighed. "We can only wait until we get to The Moon. Its our only hope for guidance." Minako nodded, but her hands twisted violently around her wrists nervously. But what could they hope to find there? What could they possibly find out that they didn't already know?! "I think... I think we need to keep Usagi in our sights at all time." Minako shook her head sadly.

"Ami and Makoto around with her right now, but she's already promised to hang out with one of her other friends at noon. Naru I think she said her name was. We wont be able to stay close to her then." Minako complained.

"Do you think Usagi felt it?" Rei asked. Minako nodded.

"She's being strong in this. More than I suspected. I think she keeps trying to put up a front for our sake." Rei had to agree with that. Usagi had been struggling to remain intact for them since Luna had disappeared the day before.

Rei clasped her hands together and Minako sat there beside her in silence. They just needed to get answers, and all they had was hope that tomorrow night would reveal them.

"Goodbye Ami-chan! Mako-chan!" Usagi offered them her brightest smile and waved as she exited the arcade before the other two could offer her an object.

"Usagi!" Ami's voice called after her, but Usagi walked forward pretending not to hear. It was a half hour until she would be with Mamoru again, and his warm arms would take away the cold chill and apprehension that followed her. The feeling had surrounded her the entire time she had been with the others, but it was enhanced when she was alone. Even with the feeling growing as she walked along alone she couldn't bring herself to tell the others the truth. She had lied to them. She had been fearful they might stop her from going and seeing him, but Usagi wouldn't be able to go on if she didn't see him soon. She needed to know he was alright... That he was safe...

A bright light flashed in the corner of Usagi's eye and she turned her head to face the source, but there was nothing there. Usagi walked on, but as she did so the feeling of being watched crawled up her back. She stopped walking and turned around quickly, but again she was all alone. Usagi turned around completely in order to scan the street hopefully.

"Luna?" She called out, but after a pause there was no response. "Luna, please!" Still the street was empty and she was all alone. Usagi sighed and turned back around. It had just been hopeful thinking...

Usagi stood next to the fountain and the sound of the bubbling water tried to calm and relax her soul. The closer she got to noon the more assured she felt. Yes... everything would be alright. Mamoru would come and they would be able to overcome whatever enemy was waiting for them at the end of everything. Her heart began to beat more quickly as she worked herself up more and more and the warmth spread throughout her entire body. Yes! They would be together in this! She let her worries drop away from her as she stood at the fountain and for the first time in a month it gave off its glow, but not as strong as she remembered. It seemed to be just an echo of what she had felt before, but an echo was better than nothing, and it felt heavenly compared to the deep sorrow from before.

Usagi's entire body shivered in excitement and she found herself able to smile again.

A soft noise brought Usagi's attention to the cement wall behind her and she turned around happily. As she turned the cold chill suddenly returned to the fountain and the echo of happiness she had grasp left her standing affronted by the dark shadow that had covered the world the night before.

He stood there, but... Usagi's smile disappeared as she stood there with the coldness between them.

"You're here early." Tuxedo Kamen said finally, and Usagi stood there not speaking.

"Why is he transformed?" He stood there in full formal dress and mask before her, and beneath his mask were his deep blue eyes, but they stared at Usagi with a cold distantness. He reached into his vest pocket and revealed the pocket watch and he observed its clear glass seriously for a moment. Usagi's heart slowed as she saw it sitting in his hands and a small memory jolted at the back of her mind.

"Next time, lets trade... for sure."

His voice echoed in her mind and Usagi's hand went to her forehead for a moment. He had said that... a long time ago. She recognized the watch... from somewhere. The watch's ticking came at irregular intervals and Tuxedo Kamen frowned.

"It seems my watch has broken." He stated plainly, and he looked back up at her with his cold vacant eyes. The whole situation was causing Usagi's mind to race and an uneasiness came over her along with the dark shadow. Tuxedo Kamen placed the watch back into his pocket and then lifted his cape upwards and as it swooped in front of him his attire transformed with it.

"Endymion..." There were tears in Usagi's eyes as she smiled again. He remembered, and now... everything would be alright... Her body leaned forward without her telling it to and she had only one thought: to be by his side again. Her legs moved upwards to run into his arms that she knew would be wide op-

He stepped to the left and as the cape settled down around him it revealed a tall woman in a deep indigo dress with long red hair drapping down around her shoulders.

Usagi's legs stopped instantly and she stood there staring at the two in front of her.

"W-who are you?" Usagi's voice came out weak and broken. She recognized her, but she could not remember where from.

"Serenity!"

"Endymion!"

The memory stabbed at her temples and she could feel his blood on her face once more. Usagi gasped as she lifted her hands to her forehead in new fear as her mind raced trying to make sense of everything, and why the memory had chosen to strike her again at that moment.

"Princess Serenity of The Silver Millennium; Sailor Moon." The woman's voice was deep and underneath there appeared to be a sense of pleasure and perhaps pride. Usagi froze as she spoke. How did she know who Usagi was? "We have finally met."

"Who are you?!" Usagi demanded again leaning forward. The woman's face formed a mock sadness.

"You don't remember me?" She asked. "Oh, isn't that too bad. I remember everything about you." She said smiling now. Usagi looked at Endymion and his eyes pierced through her like a cold blast.

"Mamo-chan, what is this? What's going on?" Usagi begged for an answer.

"The man you knew is dead." The woman told her and Usagi's hands tightened around each other in terror.

"What do you mean? Mamo-chan!" She wouldn't be able to stand it if he kept looking at her like that.

"I killed him." The woman said wrapping her arms around Endymion. "I erased that stubborn marking from his heart, but..." She returned to her fake sadness. "I had to kill him first." She turned to Usagi smiling wickedly. "Now Endymion-sama is mine entirely! I have resurrected him with my own power!" Usagi stood in silence. Mamo-chan... died? This was him resurrected?

"No..."Usagi whispered. "Mamo-chan!" The woman released Endymion from her arms. "You're lying!" She couldn't believe this, but it felt too familiar. Like this had all happened before.

"Enough talk!" The woman shouted. "I simply wanted you to know the awful truth before this ended." She told Usagi. "That your hold on him was finally forever erased. That he will never think of you after this." The woman's words hurt Usagi almost as much as Endymion's dark stare. That Endymion would never have love for her ever again... Perhaps she could live with that if he just didn't have those eyes. Those eyes that were not his.

"Mamo-chan!" Usagi cried out.

"Endymion-sama," The woman had Endymion's full attention now, and he didn't hear Usagi at all. Usagi stood there still in surprise, unsure of what to make of the scene before her. "Why don't you remind our dear Princess who I was?" She asked. "You think we could come up of a way?" Endymion turned his cold gaze back towards Usagi. "Kill her!" She demanded, and Endymion stepped forward with his sword now in his strong hands.

"Mamo-chan..." Usagi's voice broke. She couldn't believe this! This wasn't happening! Their love had been so strong.

"I have dreamt of this day, Princess." The woman stated as Endymion approached her. "The day I erase your existence forever. The day you will no longer be a threat!" Her emotion in her voice had increased. "What a sight it will be to see Endymion do the deed himself! Much better than doing it myself, I believe. Don't you agree?" Endymion's sword lifted high in order to strike out against her, and Usagi gasped as she jumped out of the way, and the sword slashed to her side barely missing her. Endymion's hand rose and a surge of energy struck Usagi in the chest; sending her breathless to the ground. He turned back towards her and Usagi grabbed at her brooch in fear. She couldn't just sit here while he attacked her! But...

"Mamo-chan..." His eyes still watched her distantly as he prepared to strike out against her again. "Moon Prism Power!" She began the chant, but he was already swinging down onto her. "Ahh!" Usagi rolled out of his range, and from her position laying on the ground she looked back up at him with fear plain in her eyes. "Make Up!" Usagi's eyes closed frantically as she expected the power to come to her, but... Usagi's eyes opened wide with an even more intense fear. It hadn't worked!

Endymion's power surged towards her again and Usagi let out a scream as the pain ripped through her. She went flying backwards with her skin skidding against the rough concrete. Usagi looked up quickly to see Endymion stepping towards her with his hand raised to strike her again. Her eyes squeezed shut tightly as she waited for the pain to strike her again. There was nothing she could do if she couldn't transform. "Mamo-chan!" This couldn't be happening!

The pain didn't come, but the vicious sound of a cat hiss and growl broke through Usagi's fear and Endymion let out a yell of pain. Usagi's eyes opened to see him throwing Luna onto the ground in between them. "Luna!" Usagi leaned forward, but Endymion was already aiming his hands towards Usagi's chest again and she gasped as the power came towards her.

"Usagi!" Luna was in front of her in an instant; transformed into her human form to cover her more fully. The power struck Luna forcefully and as she fell back onto the ground she transformed once more into her cat form. She struck the ground a few yards away from Usagi and as she finished rolling she lay there unmoving.

"Luna!" Usagi raced towards her, but another surge of power hit her on the back and she fell onto the ground with her knees striking hard against the concrete. Endymion's shadow covered her and Usagi looked up to see him towering over her and she could only watch him in fear with her heart racing away in panic. The woman's deep laughter came from somewhere around them, but Usagi could only watch Endymion above her. She was powerless against it. She couldn't hurt him, even if she could transform... She was the cause of all the pain and suffering that had ever happened to them. This was best for everyone... if she just died right here. But then who would save Mamoru? Usagi's hand wrapped around The Silver Crystal. "Mamo-chan..." She cried softly. His sword raised above his head and it began its rapid decent. Usagi's shoulders fell as she gave into her fate and watched the sword come down upon her.

This was the end... of everything.

The darkness consumed Usagi's vision, but it was not death like she thought it was for a split moment. The sword struck the dark wall of energy that had formed an inch or two in front of Usagi and Endymion let out a new scream of pain, and the wall pushed him back with his own force going against him. The dark wall dissipated and Usagi breathed in sharply; unsure of what had happened as Endymion staggered backwards.

"Deep Submerge!" A large blue ball crashed against him as Usagi watched and the force of it's power sent him all the way back to the ground by the other woman's side. Two more shadows covered Usagi and she looked up at the tall figures above her as they rushed past her and towards the awaiting battle against Endymion. Usagi gasped as the two came completely into view.

They were Sailor Senshi...

Endymion was up on his feet with his sword held out towards them, and the blonde Senshi obliged him with her own sword clashing against his. Another shadow came over Usagi and she gasped in fear as she looked up. A smaller pale Senshi with short black hair stood above her, but she was paying no mind to Usagi, but was staring intently at the battle. Her beautiful purple eyes were filled with worry as the other two struck out towards Endymion, but the most notable of her features was the impressive and deadly looking weapon in her hands.

"Uranus! Neptune! No!" The small Senshi shouted in terror, and Usagi turned back to the battle as Endymion gave out another painful yell. They were hurting him! They could kill him. The blonde Senshi lifted her sword to deal another blow against him and Usagi's heart panicked again.

"NOOO!" Usagi's eyes closed violently in order to not see it again. She could not see him die again. As her eyes closed an intense power flowed in her from her chest and underneath her hand The Silver Crystal exploded with light and power.

It was a power Usagi had never felt before, and it drained out of her quickly. Her eyes opened and the light from The Silver Crystal died as she lay there breathing hard. The others were now scattered around her on the ground, but to her relief, they were all separated from one another. The woman knelt down beside Endymion in order to help him, but he was getting up himself and he pushed her away from him in anger.

"I'll kill you!" He shouted at Usagi.

"Protect Usagi-chan!" The purple and maroon Senshi with the imposing weapon shouted as she now stood beside Usagi. The other two Senshi were getting up and moved in front of her. Usagi's mind was dizzy. She had used so much power and had not even been transformed. The woman put her hand in front of Endymion stopping him in his tracks as he continued to fume in anger.

"Your time will come." She promised gently, but when she turned back to them her eyes revealed her amusement.

"Who are you?" The blonde Senshi demanded. Usagi felt herself growing weaker and weaker as she remained there on her hands and knees with tears forming in her eyes as Endymion stared at her with so much hatred. The woman laughed.

"I am your end." She declared and her eyes met Usagi's. They were hard and determined while Usagi's were weak and broken.

"World Shaking!" The blonde Senshi sent her orange, supreme attack hurling towards the other two and the woman raised her hand and it cut through the attack like a small object. The two in front of her gasped in surprise and horror, and the smaller one stood closer to Usagi protectively. The fear penetrated through Usagi's entire being. The woman glared at Usagi, and she could tell that the woman could see right through her, and she knew that Usagi was utterly defeated.

"We will meet again soon, Princess." She lifted her hand upwards and she disappeared along with Endymion by her side. The two Senshi stood poised ready to protect her still in case she returned or another being revealed itself, and the smaller one bent down beside Usagi whose world was spinning into a blur.

"Sailor Moon," The small girl spoke, but Usagi couldn't concentrate on her words as she collapsed onto the ground completely spent. "Usagi-chan!" Usagi's eyes tried to stay open, but soon she found herself falling into darkness.

"Mamo-chan... Luna..."

Her eyes closed completely and she was no longer aware of anything that stood around her.

"Sailor Moon!" Uranus grabbed hold of her and she felt cold underneath her touch. Sailor Saturn and Neptune stood beside her in fear as Neptune touched her forehead.

"She's alright." Neptune said finally pointing to the crystal laying against her chest. "She's just exhausted." Her voice sounded relieved. Sailor Saturn remained standing as Neptune crouched down beside Uranus. Neptune and Uranus both peered at the woman who had called out to them for so long, the light the had always looked to for hope: Princess Serenity. "We've finally found her." Neptune whispered softly, and Uranus smiled and nodded. Saturn watched them in silence with her face revealing nothing. Saturn turned away from them and observed the area around them. A moment later she was moving quickly towards the fountain with a gasp and she let her weapon fall to the side as she fell to her knees.

"Luna!" Saturn picked up something small and dark off of the ground. The other two Senshi watched her fearfully because of her hasty motions.

"Saturn?" Sailor Saturn sat with her back towards them as she crouched over holding something tightly. "Saturn? What's wrong?" Neptune moved towards her nervously. They had still not overcome their uneasiness around the transformed Senshi of Silence. It went against everything they knew to see her transformed in front of them, but it was reassuring they did not have to worry about her power destroying the planet like they had once feared. "What is it?" Saturn sat with her eyes closed shut tightly and from this new angle Neptune could see her gloved hands were glowing as she held on desperately to a medium sized black cat.

"Hotaru?" Uranus asked from her position holding Serenity. Saturn's eyes opened and her face was a strange expression of both joy and worry.

"Hotaru-chan?" Neptune asked bending over her and the cat. Saturn looked up at her with her eyes sparkling and a smile on her face. "What is it?" Saturn stood up holding the cat close to her and she cradled her like an infant.

"Its nothing." She said walking back towards Uranus and Serenity. "We need to get them out of here. We cannot risk being caught here with them both injured and needing protection." The other two Senshi watched her in confusion as she talked about the cat and Serenity on equal terms. "When they both wake up, we can finally get some answers."

"Both of them?" Uranus asked, and Saturn nodded.

"Yes." She said. "If she is here, then..." She paused and the smile enveloped her face in a new way they had never seen. She radiated complete joy. "It means Pluto-mama can't be too far behind."

"Who is here? What about Pluto?" Neptune asked in surprise.

"Why is a cat important?" Uranus asked skeptically. Saturn caressed the cat's face gently and her hands continued to glow as her healing power filled the cat.

"This is not just some cat." Saturn explained. "Its Luna." The two furrowed their eyebrows. Saturn said that as if it were suppose to mean something to them. "She... She shouldn't be here!" Saturn exclaimed a bit too excitedly. "At least... that's what I thought. She was with Mama when... when the paradox happened." The two other Senshi still did not understand.

"You aren't making any sense!" Uranus complained.

"How is a cat going to give us answers?" Neptune asked still dwelling on that one point. Saturn looked up at the two Senshi with hope filling her.

"Like I said." Saturn said still smiling brilliantly. "It's Luna."
