Fight on, Ida
Medical Ward
'So this is the me that came to this world?' Ash saw two shadowy figures in of him. One looked human and the other one look like a Pokemon.
'Yes, but his world is still alive, he was brought here by evil force.' The other shadow said.
'He has a better control over his aura but something is blocking its full potential.' The 1st shadow said.
'It's the mind block my counterpart placed on him back at New Island.' The 2nd shadow said.
'Are you able to remove it?' The 1st shadow asked.
'Yes, but that will mean he will remember everything back then.' The 2nd shadow said.
'After what he's been through, he's more of a hero than me. Also by the looks of it, this world might be more dangerous then where we are now, so it be best for him to have his full power.' The 1st shadow said.
'Very well, I shall begin.' The 2nd shadow said as it moved closer to Ash.
'We better get back to Batman soon before he figures out what we are doing.'
"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Ash shouts, waking up from his sleep. He looked franticly, trying to find the shadowy figures. He didn't take notice of the other people in the room. Midoriya, All Might, Recovery Girl, Sui and Jiro were staring at Ash, trying to figure out what caused this. Sui went in front of Ash and put her hands on his shoulders.
"Ash, Ash, What's wrong? What happened?" Sui asked, trying to calm him down. When Ash noticed Sui, he immediately calmed down and had a good scan of the room.
"What happened to the shadows?" Ash asked. Everyone was confused by this question.
"What shadows?" Sui asked.
"The shadows that were over me just now." Ash said.
"Ash we've been here the whole time. There was no shadows." Midoriya said. Ash looked at Midoriya and saw he was in a hospital bed. Then he looked down and saw he was in a hospital bed too. He remembered he won against Midoriya, he reunited with Lucario and Dragonite. But after that, he can't remember anything.
"How did I end up here?" Ash asked.
"Apparently after your match with Midoriya, you started coughing up blood and passed out. You were lucky that Asui and Jiro was with you when it happened." All Might said. Ash then looked at Sui and Jiro, feeling grateful to have them as friends.
"Thanks you two, I really owe you one." Ash said. Sui smiled at this response and placed her hand over Ash's hand.
"I'm just glad you are ok." Sui said. Jiro saw Sui's action and felt something weird inside her. She walked over to Ash and checked Ash's temperature.
"How are you feeling Ash? Have you got a fever?" Jiro asked.
"No, I'm good. I'm absolutely fine." Ash said. But he didn't know yet.
"I wouldn't say that young man, you did acquire some injury." Recovery Girl said.
"What?" Ash asked. He tried to sit up but immense pain overcame him.
"Ash, careful." Jiro said as she helped Ash sit up. When Ash sat up, he could see bandages covering his mid section. "I knew that fall did something to you."
"You suffered multiple rib fractures, luckily no major organs were punctured. I did have to realign your ribs so they are able to heal faster." Recovery Girl said. At this point, the door to the medical ward opened up and Tenya, Uraraka and Mineta walked in.
"Hey Midoriya, we thought we come in here to see how you are doing." Tenya said.
"The battle with you and Ash was intense." Mineta said. Midoriya thought it was nice of them to think of him.
"Thanks you guys. Yeah, that match got a bit out of hand." Midoriya said.
"But it's your boys recklessness that got you both in here." Recovery Girl said. This confused the group.
"What do you mean?" Uraraka asked. At that moment, they heard a painful grunt. They looked over and and saw Ash bandaged up and trying to adjust himself.
"Here Ash, let me readjust your pillow." Sui said. Ash leaned forward with the help of Jiro.
"Not too fast." Jiro said.
"Ash, what happened?" Uraraka asked running towards him. Jiro helped Ash lean back into his bed.
Hey guys, The match took a lot out of me by the looks of it." Ash said. The rest of the group arrived at his bed.
"You wouldn't hear if you were just exhausted." Tenya said.
"Yeah, they only let you in here if it concerned your health." Mineta said.
"He cracked his ribs from that fall protecting Midoriya." Jiro said.
"He also passed out in the hallway after the match." Sui said.
"Ash, that sounds quite serious." Uraraka said.
"Did you need anything to help with recovery Ash?" Mineta asked.
"Nothing is out the question." Tenya said. As this was going on, Midoriya and All Might was watching the scene. Amazed that people not so long ago became friends and helping each other out, no matter what. Midoriya then thought that it wasn't that long since he received One For All from All Might, and he was making slow progress with mastering the quirk.
"All Might." Midoriya said. All Might gave him his attention. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to win the match. I tried to win with the quirk but all I did was injure myself. I think it might be a good idea if you find another successor." Midoriya was on the verge of tears but this was what he truly believes. He thought he wasn't worthy enough anymore. All Might heard him and thought he was being too hard on himself.
"Midoriya, why would you think I would be disappointed in you. So what if you lost, I lost fights too when I was your age." All Might said. Midoriya looked up at him. "You saved your friend when you had no quirk and you are will defend and help your friends when they need help. My decision in making you my successor has not wafered one bit." Midoriya couldn't believe what he heard. His idol still thought he made the right choice.
"But my injures." Midoriya started.
"Are the same sort of injures I had at your age. Don't be discouraged by it. Every user of this quirk mastered at different times. You just need to be patient and trust that you and One For All will be able to work in harmony soon." All Might said. This was what Midoriya needed to hear. He had a new wave of confidence in him now. He was going to get flu control of One For All and be the greatest hero of all time. Now All Might had that, he could see a new light in Midoriya. Recovery Girl then got everyones attention.
"Right, everyone needs to leave now. I need to operate on Midoriya's arm and check to see if Ash is clear to continue. Now go, go." Recovery Girl said, guiding everyone but All Might out.
"Ok, get well soon guys." Tenya said. Leaving the room.
"Call me when you need to be walked back." Uraraka, Sui and Jiro said to Ash at the same time. They looked at each other after what happened and had embarrassed faces on them.
"That's enough already." Recovery Girl said as she closed the door on them. She then turned around and looked at the boys. "Let's get started.
Main Arena
"Begin." Ms Midnight said. Everyone in the stadium roared in excitement as the match went underway. Ibara started moving the vines in her hair to attack Tenya. Tenya was quick to dodge the attack and use his quirk to give him a boost. Tenya managed to reach Ibara side and before she could react, Tenya started pushing her out of the ring. Before anyone could do anything, Ibara went out of bounds. "Ibara went out of bounds, Tenya Ida advances to the semi finals." Everyone again about the result. Ibara turned to look at Tenya.
"Thank you for the match." Ibara said.
"You are welcome. Sorry it wasn't long but I need to try to end this matches as soon as possible." Tenya honestly answered. Both Tenya and Ibara shook hands then walked back to their respected areas. As the next match was being set up, there was disturbance in one part of the arena.
"Let go of me, I need to check on Ash now." Yaoyorozu said. As soon as she heard what happened to Ash, she has been trying to get to the medical ward, even though she has been told multiple times she wouldn't be able to go in the room. She tried to make a quick dash to the room before some of her classmates caught her and trying to calm her down. Jiro leaned over to whisper to Uraraka.
"It's a good job we didn't tell Ashido yet." Jiro whispered. Uraraka only nodded her head. And it was a good job they did that as Ashido was entering the ring to face off against Tokoyami.
"Good luck to you Tokoyami." Ashido said.
"And to you too" Tokoyami responded. Ms. Midnight looked at both the students before commencing the match.
"Begin." Ms. Midnight said. Ashido started using her acid to slide towards Tokoyami. Tokoyami got Dark Shadow out to keep Ashido at a distance. Ashido went under Dark Shadow and manage to get up close to Tokoyami, she readied her fist.
"Didn't think it was going to be that easy, did you?" Ashido asked as she threw a punch.
Medical Ward
Ash and Midoriya were getting their gym wear uniforms on while Recovery Girl was packing away her surgical equipment after sterilising everything. All Might approached the boys.
"It looks like you two are back to your old selves." All Might said. The boys smiled at this response.
"You can say that again." Ash said.
"Yeah, my arm feels a lot more better now." Midoriya said. He then turned his attention to Recovery Girl. "Thank you so much for all your help." Recovery Girl acknowledges the the response.
"You are welcome Midoriya. Although it be fair to let you know, I will no longer attend to any injuries that you inflict on your own body." Recovery Girl said. This shocked everyone in the room.
"Do you think that is necessary to do that. He can't help how much power he puts out." All Might said.
"I am well aware of the situation All Might." Recovery Girl said. She had finished packing her equipment and looked at everyone. "It's not like I said I'm cutting him off all together, I will still treat injuries that was caused by someone else." Recovery Girl looked at Midoriya at this point. "I'm only doing this to make you aware of what's happening. You have caused permanent damage to your arm. You will cause further damage if you something like that again. I'm sorry Midoriya. If I keep on treating you, you will only continue going all out when it isn't necessary. You need to try to find a way of controlling your quirk soon before further damage is done." Midoriya looked at his arm, only now realising how much more worse it could have turned out. Recovery Girl then turned to Ash. "Now with you. You are medically clear to continue with the matches but I would highly recommend you withdraw from the tournament to reduce the chances of anymore injuries." Ash understood why she would say that because it is her job but at the same time, it's not that easy for him to just quit.
"Thank you for the advice. I will keep it in mind before my next match starts." Ash said. Recovery Girl nodded before turning and leaving the room. All Might and Midoriya looked at Ash.
"So what is your choice then Ash?" All Might asked.
"It sounds like you could really hurt yourself if you continue on." Midoriya said.
"I have to keep going." Ash said. Before anyone could respond, Ash continued. "I promise, if I start to feel that something is wrong, I will withdraw from the match and pull out of the tournament." All Might and Midoriya weren't so sure if this was a good idea. Ash was willing to go to extreme lengths when it came to getting his Pokemon back. But since Ash was officially medically cleared, there wasn't anything they could do.
"Ok." All Might said. "Do you mind if I have the room to talk with young Midoriya quickly." All Might said.
"Yeah, that is no problem." Ash said as he started to walk out.
"Wait Ash, you need someone to be with you." Midoriya said.
"Oh, don't worry. Sui and Hagakure are outside waiting for me." Ash said. If that was the case then there should be no problem.
"Ok, we will catch up with you later on then." All Might said. Ash nodded and left the room. If only All Might and Midoriya checked outside first then they would have seen that there was no one waiting for him. Ash quickly made his way to the locker room and laid down on one of the benches. Even though he didn't look like it, he was still in serious pain. The aura was healing him quicker but it still came at a cost though. But when he thought that he was by himself, he didn't realise that someone was following him this entire time.
"So you are still hurt." Ash quickly sat up and looked at the voice. It was one of the teachers. Ectoplasm.
"Sorry I didn't realise anyone was in here." Ash said as he was about to get up and leave. But Ectoplasm stopped him.
"You are alone in here, this is just one of my copies. It will disappear after our conversation." Ectoplasm said. What did he needed to talk to Ash about.
"What did you need to talk about?" Ash asked.
"How many more Pokemon do you own? It seems that every time you win, another Pokemon appears." Ectoplasm said. Ash wasn't surprised that someone had asked this as the patterns were obvious.
"I have a lot of Pokemon." Ash said.
"And let me guess, the league of villains have got the rest of your Pokemon, you get a Pokemon back every time you win and if you win the whole thing, you get them all back?" Ectoplasm asked. Ash was surprised that he was able to put all the pieces together that quick.
"All Might told you." Ash said.
"Yes." Ectoplasm said.
"Let me guess, you are going to stop me from competing?" Ash said. But he was wrong.
"I came here to give a bit of advice." Ectoplasm said. Ash looked at him, listening to his words. "Because we are able to use our quirks, doesn't mean we have to use them all the time. It's best to observe your situation first then make a judgement call if the quirk needs to be involved. Your quirk will work faster and become stronger if you store it for a certain amount of time." Did Ectoplasm knew how Ash's quirk works. Did he know that it was healing him right now and the more he keeps in him, the faster he'll recover. Ectoplasm turned around and was about to leave. "No one will stop you from competing, but I will tell Midnight about your condition though. If she feels like that you are putting yourself in serious danger, she will call off the match. I know you want to save your Pokemon, but the students health comes first in this school." Ash wanted to say something but he couldn't since he knew that he had already changed the teachers minds and they wouldn't change it again. "I must go, your companion's here." Ectoplasm disappeared as the doors opened and reveals to be Yaoyorozu.
"Ash, I heard what happened. I'm sorry I wasn't with you when it happened. Are you ok, are..." Yaoyorozu was cut off when Ash got up and hugged her.
"I'm so happy to see you." Ash said. Yaoyorozu smiled at this and returned the hug.
"And what about me Pumpkin?" Ash and Yaoyorozu let go of the hug and looked at the doorway, to see the pink haired girl from earlier.
"Hatsume?" Ash asked.
Hallway
There was a person standing in the hallway, as far away from the arena that the person could find. It was Tenya. He was trying to phone his brother and tell him the good news over the phone. Unfortunately, the phone was never answered and kept on going to voicemail.
"Hi Tensei, just want to let you know that I made it to the semi finals. If you get the chance, call me back." Tenya said. He then hung up and looked at his phone. "He must be really busy if he can't answer his phone." He had no idea.
Alleyway
In a dark alleyway, Tensei was facing against a villain, but not an ordinary villain.
"Your crimes end here today. You're going to jail for a long time Hero Killer Stain." Tensei said. A menacing looking man was looking straight at the hero. He had a bandana covering most of his face and brandishing a sword in his hands.
"I will not be taken down by the likes of you, an imposter." Stain said.
Hallway
Ash, Yaoyorozu and Hatsume were walking together, back to the arena. They could hear a battle going on right now and by the sounds of it, it was something to do with Bakugo. Ash wanted to wait by the entrance to be ready for his next match. He would be there faster if it wasn't for one thing.
"Look at this, walking together like a couple." Hatsume said. She was holding on to one of Ash's arms as they were walking. Yaoyorozu was doing the same thing to Ash's other arm, trying to not be bested by Hatsume.
"I've already done this with Ash many times so don't think you are the first one to do that." Yaoyorozu said. She wasn't normally the jealous type, but she knew nothing about Hatsume. For all she knew, she was going to take Ash away from her and the others.
"I know I'm not the first one and I'm trying not to be the first one." Hatsume said. "All I want to do is spend some time with pumpkin here and find a little bit more about him."
"Well, what did you want to know?" Ash asked. This surprised both the girls.
"What is your favourite food?" Hatsume asked.
"I do love a good pizza." Ash answered. He then looked at Yaoyorozu. "You want to ask anything?"
"Ok, what made you want to play the guitar?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"It was a way to try to relax. Even though I enjoy training my Pokemon and myself, it can be stressful sometimes." Ash said.
"I got another question for you." Hatsume said. "Why do you live with Midoriya when you two are not brothers?" How did she find out about that?
"How did you know that?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"Sui told me before the Calvary Battle." Hatsume said. This shocked Yaoyorozu.
"She told you?" Yaoyorozu asked. Ash tried to deescalate the tension.
"Momo, it's fine." Ash said. Yaoyorozu wanted to calm down for Ash but she was still a little mad at Sui for letting that secret out. Ash looked at Hatsume. "The reason I live with Midoriya is because I don't have a home. I haven't had a home since I was ten years old." This shocked Hatsume.
"Oh, Ash. I didn't realise it was like that." Hatsume said.
"You see Hatsume, he has been through a lot. You have no idea what he has been through." Yaoyorozu said. Hatsume was hurt by this statement. She was probably one of the people that can closely relate to Ash's situation. She looked as she starts to tell her story.
"When I was five, the doctors informed my parents that I had a quirk. My parents were quirk-less people and always hated the idea of living in a world full of people with powers. As soon as my parents found out about me, they gave me up for adoption." Hatsume said. This truly shocked Ash and Yaoyorozu. Ash's situation was one thing, but the people that were suppose to love you giving you away for something that wasn't your fault. That would scar anyone. "I spent a year at a foster home before a family took me in. The thing is it wouldn't have been as bad if I had friends to help me out through it. I still haven't got any true friends now. I thought you were a nice guy Ash and wanted to be your friend. I'm sorry if I got on your nerves today." Hatsume started to walk away from them.
"Who said we weren't friends?" Ash asked. Hatsume looked back at him with hope. "I know we only just met today. But I already know you are a good person and I do enjoy spending time with you. Whoever your parents were, they were idiots for giving you up. And as for friends, I'd like to count us as friends." Hatsume couldn't believe what she was hearing. She actually found someone who wanted to spend time with her.
"That's nice of you to say Ash." Hatsume said. But she still had doubts about something. "But I don't know if your other friends would like me being around you." Yaoyorozu really felt bad at this point.
"I'm really sorry about what I said. I was feeling kinda jealous with how close you were getting with Ash. I'm not normally like that and if you let me, I'd like to start over." Yaoyorozu said. She walked towards Hatsume and held her hand out. "Hi, I'm Momo Yaoyorozu, I'd like to be friends with you." Hatsume looked at the hand before grabbing it and shaking it. Ash smiled at the interaction between the two. Just then, there was another explosion and a huge roar of applause erupted.
"Kirishima is unable to battle. Bakugo advances to the next round." Ms. Midnight's voice was heard. Ash, Yaoyorozu and Hatsume saw Bakugo walking out of the doorway. Bakugo looked at them for a moment before walking somewhere else. "And now here are the final five." Ash quickly rushed to the nearest tv to see who he was facing. Bakugo vs Tokoyami. If those two were facing each other, then that means.
"Ash. You're going against..."
"Tenya."
Class 1-A Seating Area
It was the semi finals now and tensions were high among Class 1-A, especially since all the semi finalists were in the same class.
"Tenya's is going to win the next match." Mineta said.
"Are you crazy, I fought against Ash. He will beat Tenya no problem." Sero said.
"That was before he had that fall. He might be injured now and might find it difficult to fight." Kaminari said. As this conversation was going on, Midoriya returned to the seating area.
"Hey guys." Midoriya said. Everyone turned to the newly arrived classmate and was a bit shocked to see him so early.
"Midoriya, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the medical ward recovering?" Sato asked. Midoriya sat down with his classmates.
"Recovery Girl let me and Ash go, saying we're both healthy enough to move." Midoriya said.
"Well, it's go to see you up and about." Hagakure said.
"Thank you of... Wait a minute, why are you not with Ash?" Midoriya asked after realising Hagakure was there.
"What are you talking about?" Hagakure asked. Midoriya then finally put the pieces together.
"Ash tricked me and All Might to leave by himself. He said that Hagakure was outside, waiting for him. We should have checked first before letting him go." Midoriya said.
"So he used me as an excuse?" Hagakure asked. Midoriya nodded. "Maybe I can use this as leverage." Hagakure said to herself.
"I don't think he got far." Shoji said. "Ectoplasm picked up Yaoyorozu and guided her to Ash so he wasn't by himself for long."
"Ok ladies and gentlemen. The semi finals are about to begin." Midnight said. "With our first match. Tenya vs Ash." The crows roared in excitement with the match about to get underway. Ash and Tenya came out of their respective doorways. Sui stood up from her seat and wanted Ash to hear.
"ASH!!!" Sui shouted. Ash turned to look at Sui. "NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, YOU'RE ALREADY A WINNER IN MY EYES." Ash smiled at her response and gave him a new found confidence in him. But some of the teachers also heard Sui's statement.
"Ok, what is going on with those two?" Snipe asked. Ash and Tenya entered the ring and faced each other.
"Good luck Tenya." Ash said. Tenya nodded to the comment.
"Thank you and good luck to you too." Tenya said. Midnight was about to start the match.
"Ash, are you ready?" Midnight asked. Ash got into a battle stance. She then looked at Tenya. "Tenya, are you ready?" Tenya prepared himself, getting to end the match straight away as he knew what Ash was capable of. Midnight gave one last look at the pair. "Begin." Tenya immediately raced towards Ash while Ash was standing in place in the battle stance.
"What is he doing?" Tenya asked. Tenya was about to reach Ash, but Ash sidestepped at the last moment and Tenya completely missed him. Tenya tried to turn around but Ash was quick low sweeping his legs. Tenya was starting to stumble and was heading out the ring. "On no." Tenya dived to the ground and stopped himself before he reached out of bounds. Tenya got back up and saw Ash back in the middle of the ring. Tenya rushed towards Ash again with more determination. Ash also raced towards Tenya. Before they reached each other, Ash flipped onto the ground and had his feet up. Before Tenya could move or stop. He stepped on Ash's foot and Ash used the momentum to push Tenya in the air. Tenya was helpless in the air and saw he was heading for out of bounds again. Tenya landed on the ground, inbounds of the ring but was struggling to staying as he was on the edge of it. Tenya leaned back and landed on the floor again. Tenya got back up and saw Ash in the middle again. Before he rushed towards Ash, Tenya had a thought. "Is he using my speed against me?" Tenya thought of changing tactics. Tenya went full speed towards Ash. As he got closer, he could see that Ash was about to make his move again. Tenya stopped in his tracks as Ash jumped in the air, hoping Tenya would go under him. Ash landed and looked at Tenya.
"You figured out what I was doing." Ash said.
"Yes, you were using my own speed against me. I must say, it was a clever strategy. You almost got me out a few times. But I'm not making that mistake again." Tenya said. Tenya activated his quirk in one of his legs and used it to kick Ash. It was too fast for Ash to register that he couldn't dodge it. Ash rolled along the ground for a bit before stopping. The kick kicked the wind out of him and was trying to catch his breath. Tenya was walking towards him while he was still on the ground. Tenya went to grab him. "I'm sorry friend, but I am ending this now."
"I don't think so." Ash said as he jumped up and kicked Tenya in the face. Tenya stumbled back as Ash regained his footing. Ash rushed towards Tenya and punched him in the stomach. Tenya grabbed his stomach in pain. Ash then went for Tenya's feet and started stepping on them, multiple times. Tenya was able to back away to get some breathing space. "Sorry I done buddy but if I can't use your speed, then I'll try my best to slow you down." As the match was going on, people really couldn't decide who was going to win.
"I hope Ash finishes this soon. He needs to recover more before the finals." Hatsume said.
"Yeah. Tenya is one thing, but Todoroki and another at the same time might be too much for Ash." Yaoyorozu said. In the Class 1-A seats, Ashido had managed to get back to the others.
"Hey guys, who's winning at the moment?" Ashido asked as she sat down next to Sui.
"It's too close to say. Ash might be in serious trouble." Sui said. Todoroki just watched on with interest.
"Why hasn't Ash used his quirk yet?" Todoroki asked. All Might walked up next to Ectoplasm while watching the match.
"Was there any sign of the league?" All Might asked.
"No, they made no attempt to contact Ash." Ectoplasm said.
"And what about his condition?" All Might asked.
"He is still hurting from the last match. I have already told Midnight and said to her to stop the match if things don't look right with him." Etcoplasm said.
"I admire his determination to get his Pokemon back but he can't push himself too far." All Might said.
"I agree, I'll keep an eye on him after the match to make sure he doesn't have direct contact with the league." Ectoplasm said. "What's Tenya doing?" Tenya just then jumped towards Ash and used his quirk to thrust himself forward. He bent his knee and Ash got the full force of the knee hit. Ash took a second to regain his senses. Tenya landed on the ground and winced in pain as his feet were still hurting from the previous assault. Ash saw this moment and went to attack. He leapt towards Tenya. Tenya saw this coming and reacted quickly. Fighting through his pain, Tenya grabbed Ash from the air and started running towards the edge of the ring.
"This is it Ash, I'm ending this now." Tenya said. Ash knew he had to do something quick. Tenya was about to win and Ash will any chance at getting his Pokemon back. There was one thing he could do but was a 50/50 chance it would work in time. Ash quickly wrapped his arms around Tenya's neck and started to squeeze. Tenya felt his air circulation being cut off and quickly fell to the floor. Ash still had a hold of him as he could feel Tenya dragging him and Ash towards the out of bounds line. Ash looked back and saw he was only a few feet away from the line. Ash squeezed harder to make Tenya pass out quicker. Somehow, he was still conscious. The distance between them and the line was closing, moment by moment. Tenya tried to give one more push to get Ash over the line, but it was too much for him. His body slumped to the ground and he was unconscious. Ash immediately let go and rolled him over, showing he was out. Midnight saw this and made her decision.
"By KO, Tenya is out, which means Ash wins and advances to the finals." Midnight announced. You could feel the vibration in the stadium as cheers were being shouted, and not just from the audience.
"CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, ASH GOES AND WILL BE FACING AGAINST TODOROKI IN THE FINAL!!!!!" Present Mic said.
"We still got another match so calm down." Aizawa said. Tenya was coming round and Ash offered him a hand.
"Good match today." Ash said. Tenya immediately took his hand and got hoisted up.
"I'm glad it was you who beat me." Tenya said. "I'll see you in a bit." Tenya walked back through the doorway he came out of and Ash did the same. Waiting for Ash was Yaoyorozu and Hatsume.
"Can you believe it Ash? You're in the finals."Hatsume said.
"Ash is going to win the whole thing for sure." Yaoyorozu said.
"Thanks you two. Hopefully that will be the case." Ash said.
"What are you going to do now?" Hatsume asked.
"I'm going back to the locker room. The final match could be at any point now and I need to be ready." Ash said.
"I'll go with you." Yaoyorozu said. Ash nodded and they started walking away. Hatsume just stood there, didn't know whether to go with them or go back to the arena.
"Hey." Hatsume looked at them and saw it was Ash that said that.
"You're coming too, Hatsume." Yaoyorozu said. Hatsume had a smile on her face and ran towards them. Hatsume hugged Ash's side and to her surprise, he hugged her back. Then he did the same action with Yaoyorozu. Now he felt he could take on anything.
Alleyway
It was obvious that something horrible happened. Tensei was on the ground, bleeding heavily from the cut and stab wounds. Stain was just walking away, like what just happened didn't even phase him. As he was walking, he saw an old newspaper hanging out one of the bins. He looked at the front page and saw an image of Ash on it. Stain clenched his teeth and in one swift movement, he cut the picture in half with his sword.
"You're the worst one of all, imposter."
Sports Festival Arena
"DIE!!!!" Bakugo shouted as he tried to hit Tokoyami with his quirk. But Tokoyami managed to dodge it. The final battle of the semi finals was underway, and Bakugo and Tokoyami were battling with everything they had. Tokoyami's Dark Shadow went rushing in and managed to land a hit on Bakugo. Bakugo quickly regained his balance and landed a hit on Dark Shadow. As the battle was going on, some people in Class 1-A were making preparations.
"Ok, I'm going to see Ash before his fight." Uraraka said as she stood up and went to walk away.
"Wait, I'll come with you." Midoriya said as he stood up. Along with him was Sui, Ashido, Hagakure and Jiro.
"We'll all go to see him." Jiro said. Out of nowhere, Todoroki stood up and started walking away.
"Oh, are you going to see Ash too?" Hagakure asked.
"No, I'm just going to prepare myself before the match starts." Todoroki said as he left the group. Kaminari looked at the other group.
"Wish Ash good luck from us." Kaminari said. Uraraka nodded before leading the group towards where Ash was. Bakkugo landed another attack and Tokoyami fell to the ground from the attack. Tokoyami struggled to get up as he had taken on too much damage. Before Tokoyami could get back up, Bakugo put his foot of Tokoyami's chest, to keep him down and aimed his hand at him.
"Do it or die." Bakugo said. Tokoyami didn't want to but at the moment, he had no energy left. If he was able to get up, he wouldn't be able to last long. So Tokoyami swallowed his pride and said the words Bakugo wanted to hear.
"I yield." Tokoyami said. Midnight heard this.
"Tokoyami has forfeited the match. Bakugo is going to the final." Midnight said. Bakugo started to walk back to the locker room while Tokoyami was being checked over by the medics. "Now we have our finalists." A picture of Ash, Bakugo and Todoroki appeared on the screen and the crowd went wild. The match is set, it was going to go down in the history books. "The final will begin in 30 minutes." The countdown begins.
Ash's Locker Room
The news was out now and everyone knew it. Ash knew he only had a limited time before his match. Hatsume and Yaoyorozu were sitting on a bench, watching Ash prepare for his battle. He was against the wall, doing a handstand pushup. He has nearly done 100 reps. The girls were really impressed with his strength.
"I didn't expect to see this today." Hatsume said.
"I kinda did."Yaoyorozu said. Ash finished and got back to his feet. He was wiping the sweat from his head. Yaoyorozu came over with a towel and handed it to Ash.
"Thanks." Ash said, drying himself off.
"You know, you don't need to show off to the new girl in front of you." Yaoyorozu teased. Ash blushed at this comment while Hatsume added on to the teasing.
"So he does this all the time? What does he do to ask you out to dinner?" Hatsume asked.
"I bet he would hang upside to ask." Yaoyorozu said. Both the girls laughed at the comment. Ash liked what he was seeing, two friends acting like they've known each other for years.
"That sounds like a spider man kiss moment." Ash said. Both the girls looked at him.
"Spider man kiss moment?" Both the girls asked.
"What's that?"Yaoyorozu asked.
"And who's Spider Man?" Hatsume asked. Ash had got to careful what he says as Hatsume doesn't know he's from another world.
"He's a hero I met when I was younger. He told me of a time when he met his first love and they shared their first kiss with each other in the rain while he was upside down." Ash said.
"That's so romantic. We should have done that when we kissed." Yaoyorozu said. Hatsume didn't click on to what she said.
"Ash probably wants to try that kiss himself, that's why he brought it up." Hatsume said. Then she realised what was said. "Wait, you two kissed?"
"So Ash finally kissed all three of us." Everyone looked at the doorway and saw Midoriya, Uraraka, Sui, Ashido, Jiro and Hagakure enter the room.
"It's great to see all of you guys." Ash said.
"We thought we could help in anyway before your match starts." Midoriya said.
"Honestly, having you all to talk to is perfect for me." Ash said.
"Hang on, so Ash kissed 3 girls. Yaoyorozu just said she was one. Sui announced loudly earlier on.
"That was Hagakure." Sui said.
"Who was the third one?" Hatsume asked. Ashido went up to Hatsume.
"That was me. That's right, I was the first to kiss Ash out of this group. So me and Ash have a really special connection." Ashido said. Hatsune then thought of something that would throw her off.
"Did you two do the Spider man kiss?" Hatsume asked. This confused the people in the room.
"Well, we did kiss in the forest." Ashido said. Trying to act like she knows what it was.
"What's this spider man kiss?" Jiro asked.
"It's when the man hangs upside down and he shares a kiss with his true love." Hatsume said, acting like the expert on it. All the girls looked at Ash at this point.
"Why didn't we do that before Ash?" Sui asked.
"I said the same thing." Yaoyorozu said. Ash was getting really nervous, really wishing he didn't mention the iconic kiss scene.
"Look everyone, the kiss isn't something that sh..." Ash stopped when he realised he floating from the floor, turned around and standing on the ceiling. He knew what happened. "Very funny Uraraka." Uraraka just looked innocent, like nothing happened.
"I don't know what you are talking about. But since you are there." Uraraka said as she leaned in. No one expected this and came at a surprise, especially with Midroiya.
"Wait a minute, does she..." He didn't want to finish that sentence. Uraraka nearly reached Ash. But something happened.
"GENGAR!!!" A purple ghost Pokemon came out of the floor and in front of Uraraka which made her fall back. Ash saw the Pokemon and was very happy.
"Gengar, it's really you." Ash said. Gengar excitedly replied to Ash. "One moment buddy. Let me just get down and I..." Ash stopped when he felt something press against his lips. He felt a tongue in his mouth for a moment. It stopped and Ash was confused. No one was near him, well, everyone that was visible. "Hagakure?"
"Call that payment for using me as an excuse from earlier." Hagakure said.
Todoroki's Locker Room
Todoroki was just sitting on a bench, looking at the ground. He looked up and saw Bakugo standing in front of him.
"We still have that deal?" Bakugo asked. Todoroki was still for a moment before nodding.
"Yeah, we take Ash out first." Todoroki said. The door to the room opened. Bakugo and Todoroki looked and saw Endeavour enter the room.
"You best be ready to show the world what you are made of." Endeavour said. Todoroki just gritted his teeth at the sight of him.
Hallway
Tenya was walking through the hallway, heading to his seat for the final match. He felt his phone going off, hoping it will be his brother. He looked at his phone and saw his mother calling him. He answered the phone.
"Hi mum, I'm afraid I didn't make I..."
"Tenya, I know, I'm sorry about that but somethings happened." His mother said over the phone. "It's your brother."
Alleyway
Stain was walking in a random direction, looking for his next target. A portal opened up being him and Kurogiri walked out of it.
"Good day, hero killer. Might I have a moment of your time?" Kurogiri asked. Stain looked at the new arrival.
"You came to face your fate early." Stain said as he drew his sword.
"I did not come to fight. I came here to offer you an opportunity to work with like minded people like yourself. To get rid of the imposters." Kurogiri said. Stain didn't move, willing to listen to him.
Arena
"Ash, are you ready?" Midnight asked. Ash nodded. "Bakugo, are you ready?" Bakugo nodded. "Todoroki, are you ready?" Todoroki nodded. Midnight looked at them one last time before starting the biggest match of all time. "BEGIN!!!!!!"
