Ch 11: Peace Treaty
They went to the buffet restaurant. The place was bustling as usual.
"Are you feeling better, Bellatrix?" asked Nico.
"Yes, I am," Bellatrix said. "We all are."
"Yeah, that was terrifying," shivered Druella.
"But we're safe now," Andromeda said.
"The Sailor Senshi and Shitennou are having a meeting with your parents," said Kalin.
"I hope it will work out," Bellatrix said.
"How exactly did the brainwashing programs work?" asked Leo.
"They would say their false ideas over and over and not shut off until we stopped resisting," Bellatrix said.
"That's terrible!" gasped Luna.
"How did Yusei save you?" asked Leo.
"Everyone who broke in saved us," Bellatrix said. "Then we were able to leave."
"Thank goodness," smiled Luna.
"Are the citizens alright?" asked Kalin.
"They're shaken up, but they should be okay," Minako said.
"That's good to hear," said Luna.
"Did you guys take anything else back?" asked Crow.
"We just wanted to hurry back," Radley said.
"We were concerned about you guys," said Kalin.
"You got back just in time, that's for sure," Crow said.
"Yeah, wonder if their parents are going to listen to us," nodded Jack.
"Let's hope so," Antinomy said.
"Akiza also sounded very upset," stated Kalin.
"She is," Antinomy said. "Hearing about the parents' behavior towards their children outraged her."
"Haven't seen here this upset since we learned the truth about Sayer," frowned Crow.
"Uncaring parents will probably always be a sore spot for her," Antinomy said.
"I understand her pain. My father never loved me and my mother was a no-show," sighed Kalin.
"I'm sorry," Antinomy said.
"There's no need to apologize, Bruno. Sometimes fate is a cruel mistress."
"It is," Bruno agreed.
Scotch was occupied selecting food.
Usagi walked up to them. "Come on guys! Stop looking so sad and get some food!"
"Yes, we should get our strength up," Radley says.
"You're right. Sorry about my rant," said Kalin as he got up to get food.
"It's fine," Radley said. "What happened brought back unpleasant memories for you."
"What something from our past comes back for revenge once more?" asked Kalin.
"Then we'll have to fight it, like we've fought the others," Radley said.
"You're right," Kalin nodded.
Radley smiled. "And we'll win."
"Yes! Like we always do!" exclaimed Jack.
Everyone was gathering food now. The Shitennou and Prince Endymion entered the restaurant just in the nick of time.
"How did things go?" Antinomy asked.
"It went most excellent," smiled Zoisite.
"They agreed?" Bellatrix said.
"Yes, they did," nodded Jadeite.
"That's ... that's wonderful," Druella said.
"Perhaps you three can reconcile with your parents," said Nephrite.
"Can we forgive them after what they did?" Andromeda said.
"We were forgiven for attacking our friends' worlds," Bellatrix said.
"Bellatrix is correct. The Sailor Senshi forgave us as well," added Kunzite.
"Yes," Andromeda sighed. "I guess we will have to try to forgive our parents."
"They're really changing?" Druella asked.
"Should we all go over and talk to them?" asked Crow.
"Were they invited to come here?" Radley asked.
"Yes, they were. Only on the condition that we have a peace treaty," replied Kunzite.
"And they really agreed?" Bellatrix still seemed unsure.
"There's only one way to find out," shrugged Crow.
"They're coming in," Andromeda noticed.
The group settled down and prepared to confront the rulers.
"This is an eating establishment?" The mother looked around.
"Yeah, we come here all the time. The food is delicious!" smiled Usagi.
"It does smell tantalizing," the father said.
"Would you like to try some?" asked Usagi.
"Yes, we would," the mother said.
"There's some really good soup to warm you up first," said Makoto.
"I wonder if Akiza is feeling better?" pondered Luna.
Akiza was definitely watching them like a hawk. She didn't want to make a scene and upset a delicate situation, but she was still angry. Yusei could see the anger in her eyes but didn't want to speak out loud about it.
"Err, I really like the pasta," said Crow awkwardly.
"Yeah! Especially with cheese!" Scotch said.
"It's delicious," the mother said after sampling.
"We should come here more often!" exclaimed West.
"You all should!" Usagi beamed.
"Would you be willing to work together with us?" Kalin asked the parents.
"Work together?" the mother said. "To build better relations between the planets?"
"Yes, exactly," Antinomy said.
"Yeah, just like the Earth and the Moon!" smiled Usagi.
The parents exchanged looks. "... Yes, we are," the mother said.
"That's wonderful!" nodded Usagi.
Yusei smiled. It definitely was.
"Then let's celebrate!" Scotch grinned.
"Yeah!" cheered Carly.
More food was obtained.
"It's hard to believe how large this team is now," remarked Rei.
"It's epic!" Scotch said.
"And to think it all started with a bunch of miscasts," said Kalin.
"Outcasts do enjoy banding together," Radley mused. Most of them from their world were outcasts in various ways.
"I wonder what we should do this summer?" asked Minako.
"Beaches and parties and fun!" Minako said.
"I'm all in for that," nodded Ami.
"Ooh yeah! And plenty of ice cream and food!" Usagi said.
"You're making me even more hungry!" said West.
Radley was amused. "We're surrounded by food!"
"It's fit for the best of the best!" smirked Jack.
West decided to go back for seconds.
"Oh yeah!" Crow said.
"I want to try everything!" grinned Leo as he followed West.
"I agree," smiled Kalin. "What do you think, Yusei?"
"Well, it'll take a lot of trips to try everything, but why not?" Yusei smirked.
"Yusei, Kalin, Bruno, you need to try the pizza!" grinned West.
"Pizza!" Bruno rushed to it.
Yusei laughed.
"Slow down, you two!" said Nico.
Kalin also couldn't help but laugh as well. "Alright, I'm coming."
Yusei went over too.
Scotch, of course, had already been sampling it. "It's epic!"
"They have so many kinds!" exclaimed West.
"Wow, it's hard to choose just one or two!" Bruno says.
"I know. I think I'll have pepperoni and mushrooms," said West.
"I'll pick Hawaiian and supreme!" Bruno said.
Yusei tried pepperoni. Kalin took the Greek pizza.
Radley eyed it with curiosity. "I've never tried that."
"What's on it?" Scotch came to look.
"It says here 'feta cheese, spinach, and olives'", read Kalin.
"No mozzarella?" Scotch blinked.
"It still sounds good," Radley said.
"You want to try it too, Radley?"
"Yeah." Radley took a slice.
"Are we all set?" asked Kalin.
"Yes, let's go back to the tables," Radley smiled.
"Alright," nodded Kalin.
They headed back with their food.
"You guys really love pizza, huh?" asked Makoto.
"We love lots of food!" Scotch said.
"We do!" nodded Jadeite.
The feast went on for some time.
"That food was dee-licious!" exclaimed Carly.
"Yes!" Scotch grinned.
"You guys are welcome back anytime!" smiled Usagi.
"You're always welcome in our world too," Radley smiled.
"I'm interested in what Satisfaction Town's cuisine is like," stated Makoto.
"We'll show you!" Scotch said grandly.
"When are we going there?" asked Usagi.
"You could come tomorrow!" Scotch said.
"Sounds fine by us!" agreed the Senshi.
When the meal was over, they prepared to part for the night.
"We'll that was an interesting day," said Zoisite.
"To say the least," Radley said.
"Yes, indeed," nodded Kunzite.
"I wonder if your parents are interested in visiting Satisfaction Town, Bellatrix," said Kalin.
"That's where you live?" the father said.
"Yeah, Radley, me, and the Bunch do," nodded Kalin.
"We would like to see it," the father said.
"Let us know what time you want to go," said Kalin.
"We'll probably come tomorrow with the Sailor Senshi," the mother said.
"Sounds good to me!" smiled Nico.
"Yeah! We'll plan a big party!" Scotch said.
"Maybe I should invite Naru over," pondered Nephrite.
"Sure!" Scotch said.
"I'll call her as soon as we return home," stated Nephrite.
"Cool!" Scotch said.
"Yeah, everybody's welcome," Radley smiled.
"We worked to turn it into a to a tourist attraction," nodded Kalin.
"And we're doing pretty well, if I may say so myself," Radley smiled.
"Radley and Kalin are awesome!" exclaimed West.
"We look forward to seeing your town," the mother said.
"See you all tomorrow," waved Rei.
"See you!" Scotch called.
Goodbyes were exchanged all around.
"Wow, what a day," sighed Kalin as he prepared to take a shower.
No kidding. Hopefully tomorrow will be peaceful," Radley said.
"Let's hope so too. But we have to be ready for anything."
"We sure do," Radley sighed.
Kalin turned to take a nice shower. Radley settled in to wait. Kalin finished after about 10 minutes. He changed and climbed onto the bed. Radley headed in and showered and soon came out.
"Goodnight Radley."
Radley smiled. "Goodnight." He settled down and dozed.
The night passed by without problems.
