"The Cardinal Virtue of Temperance"
Bayonetta and Phantom were walking towards a giant tornado. Bayonetta didn't flinch with flying debris coming close to her but Phantom was a bit worried about being hit or taken up to the sky. "Ahh, the lovely Bayonetta." a voice said.
"Such beautiful eyes..." an angel said.
"Despite the passing of time, you still hold the pride of an overseer, don't you?" the angel asked.
It was the angel Temperantia.
"I feel like a fucking celebrity in this town!" Bayonetta said.
A train crushed her and the angel laughed. Bayonetta and Phantom were unharmed and sitting on statues Fearless and Fairness "See that!? Everyone rushes at me like crazed fans. They still haven't figure out I don't give autographs!" Bayonetta said.
"Long before this universe came to be, the first Armageddon split reality into light, dark, and chaos." Temperantia said.
Bayonetta took her glasses off before blowing some dust off "It was in this battle that those who rebelled against the light claimed dominion over the darkness." Temperantia said.
"We have but one goal: resurrecting the Creator and reunifying the Trinity of Realities. That shall be the purpose of your sacrifice!" Temperantia said.
"I'm not much for the talkative types. How about we have a little fun instead. You did plan on having fun with me, right?" Bayonetta asked.
The statues became angels. "There will be plenty of time for pillow talk afterwards." Bayonetta said.
She was petting the angel's jaw before grabbing the tail and throwing it at the bigger angel. She turned on her serious mode. The two started breaking the shells of the tube like fingers. Phantom saw many orange lights on the angel and figured that must be the weakness.
Bayonetta summoned the demon hands Hekatoncheir to rip the arms off. The two jumped onto the main body and began destroying the orange lights to break the force field protecting its face. Phantom jumped onto the neck but the angel grabbed him and attempted to swallow him but Bayonetta saved Phantom. Phantom throws up at the thought of being eaten alive.
They successfully destroy all orange lights then summoned Hekatoncheir to finish the fight they smashed his face. The wind stopped showing the clear skies Phantom was glad to see the sun. Bayonetta saw the Fearless walking around. She stepped on its tail and grabbed it, raising it up "All done? Well, let me give you back your toy then!" Bayonetta taunted.
She throw the angel at the bigger angel. A tank of gas truck was right next to angel's distorted face. "He was right! So wonderfully right! Your eyes..." Temperantia said.
A line of gas spilling from the tank was next to Bayonetta she used her heel guns to fire the line it only got like 2 seconds of being light on fire before it stopped. Bayonetta sighed and fired at the tank without looking.
The internals came to grab the defeated angel "May the Creator, Jubileus, grace you!" he said his last words.
Bayonetta and Phantom leave the area but she caught a falling train. She looked in the distance and saw the island but got a flashback again before she realized something "Bugger. And I didn't make any time for pillow talk." Bayonetta said.
She threw the train which hit the remaining angels. As they walked Jeanne was watching them.
