Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Watery Wonders. Enjoy the 3900-word chapter. I do not own Pokémon, Nintendo, and a few others.

Landon let out a sigh that carried across the room. It was not a very loud sigh, but it was an awkward one. He knew that Misty had no shortage of people planning on battling her… But she STILL did not expect so many people within the same room to ALL be here battling her. It was enough for his head to spin.

"Croc, Croconaw!" Croconaw shouted, flexing his muscles as he did so.

"You want to battle, don't you, bud?" Landon asked, leaning down to pat the Pokémon on the head. "I cannot blame you. This is going to be crazy, isn't it?" Afton asked, pausing to rub the Pokémon's head.

He could already tell that Misty would raise eyebrows upon seeing a water Pokémon. It was not a very common sight to see someone battle a gym leader with their type, however. Landon would enjoy the battle when it came down to it. It would probably not leave Misty's head when it came down to it.

"Man, Misty cleaned my clock." Landon heard as he turned to look at someone. "If I had just fought a bit smarter." Landon heard as they rubbed a Charizard's head.

"You brought a fire Pokémon to fight a water type?" Landon questioned while he hummed. "Pretty gutsy when you think about it." Landon put in which he rubbed at his chin while he hummed.

"Hey, I thought it would be interesting!" The trainer responded to which Afton held up his hands. "Me beating Misty on her terms with something like that? It would have been in the newspapers… And what is that Pokémon? I do not think one life around here." The trainer questioned to which Landon blinked before Croconaw decided to cut in.

"This is a Croconaw and your right, it isn't from around here," Landon said as he picked up the stocky Pokémon. "He is from the Johto region. I plan on fighting Misty with him and my other Pokémon, he is tough for a water type." Landon added which earned a raised eyebrow.

"You're fighting Misty with a water Pokémon?" The trainer questioned to which Afton nodded. "Man, you MUST be crazy to do something like that. Misty would eat you alive!" The trainer stated to which Afton shrugged.

He felt the door upon, allowing Landon to put Croconaw down on the ground. Landon turned to look back at the Pokémon trainer and shrugged.

"Hmm, let's go, buddy," Landon stated to which he nodded at said, trainer. "Have better luck next time, maybe your win then," Landon added while he turned to his Pokémon.

He looked around the water-filled room, curious as to if this was where they would be fighting. There was plenty of fun to be had.

"Croconaw!" Croconaw shouted before trying to dive into the water. "Croconaw!" Croconaw as he hummed before diving into the water.

"Croconaw!" Landon yelled before sighing to himself. "Dang it, I guess I can't be mad about that," Landon said before turning to look around the room.

He knew something was watching him. He could see someone watching him. A woman stepped down from their perch, crossing her arms as he hummed.

"Croconaw, out of the water, I don't need you to ruin it for later," Landon said before the woman held up her arm. "I am sorry, he loves water. He does not like to listen when it comes down to it." Landon stated as he turned to Misty.

"That's a Croconaw, from the Johto region?" She questioned to which there was a nod. "You came from Johto? Why? What about the gyms there?" She asked before she hummed to herself.

"Figured I'd find some exotic Kanto Pokémon and add them to the team," Landon stated in response. "I know, putting in a water Pokémon is pretty stupid," Landon said before Misty shrugged to herself.

This had been something he both wished to try and had not at the same time as the second. He would be rather interesting as of the second before now. This had been a lot more to see and do before now and he could not wait to see where this had led to the time being. he would be ready for the time being.

He needed to question what to do next before now. what little he had left was a little thrown off before now. it had been something that had to be done for now. He questioned as the time being. This had been a lot less of a problem than it had been a little while ago.

This had been a lot more of an interest to see and do before now.

This had been a lot more interesting to him than it had been a few seconds ago. What little he did not know did not at all hurt for now. it had to be interesting what to say or do for the time being and he was aware.

He had been interesting as of the time being. There was more to this battle for the time being when this happened and he wanted to understand it again and again for now.

He seemed to question what to get at the time being what to do next. There was a lot more to see and do before this had all been said and done. What little time had been spent on these small measures as of the time being? there had been something that had not yet been questioned before now. it had been something that needed to be done before now. The idea was that this had been something to say and do before now.

He had so little confidence in winning this that he almost wished to trivialize his winning.

Still? This had been something as of the time being. There had been something before now. He questioned before he tilted his head before now. He hummed as of the second.

This had been a lot more to say and do before all of this was done. The idea had buried itself inside of his mind the more he questioned what to say and do for the time being. The mission had set itself inside of his mind and come back empty.

He did not want this to end when it came down to it. This had been a lot more of a question to do next. The mission had been something at the time.

"It is silly, but I would not call it stupid… Yet." Misty said to which he got a shrug. "Should we start the battle?" Misty asked and got a nod.

Misty produced a Pokeball which she popped the button on, allowing the Pokémon inside to pop outside as she nodded toward Landon.

"Yeah, I do have to argue about him being hurt, I know he's a pretty curious Pokémon," Landon said before he crossed his arms. "Hmm, hey, what is that Pokémon?" Landon questioned as he turned.

He looked at the small star-like creature, it had a small jewel clasped in the middle of its body. It was a new Pokémon, at least in his mind. It was quite interesting to him to see what the creature was.

"It's a Staryu, they are pretty common around here," Misty said before Landon nodded and turned to Croconaw. "There's only so many Pokémon around here whom you can use in a water-like battle, you know." Landon heard to which he nodded to himself.

"I know, but there's plenty of stuff to do when this is done and over with," Landon added as he shrugged a moment or so later. "Anyway? You are the gym leader. It is the least I can do." Landon stated as he hummed to himself, pausing so he could do something.

"Are you sure?" Misty questioned before she nodded. "Staryu use water gun!" Misty stated as the creature unleashed a turret of water at the Pokémon.

Croconaw leaped under the water automatically, avoiding the spray of water as it swam through the water. The water churned as the Pokémon darted through the water, curious as to what came next.

There was just no amount of water that the Pokémon could dart through, it was something he was good at when it came down to it… Landon was not surprised.

This had been a lot more of a surprise before now and what little he had left in his mind had terrified him something fierce. He knew more than anything that this battle would not be easy. She was a water master and all he had were water-type Pokémon. What little advantage he would have been all to be spent in the types of moves he would employ on their enemies.

Oh, did he dread the idea of fighting Misty on her terms? Still? it was to be the worst idea that he had ever popped into his noggin as of today. It had been something that needed to be handled for now.

He was either stupid or worse. He was either worse off or in an odd position that had not yet been filled for now.

"Somehow I think I made a stupid idea." He stated as he frowned to himself, thrown off by what he was doing when it comes next.

He tilted his head to the side, fixated on Croconaw. Yes, this would be an interesting fight if not a short one. Croconaw at least would enjoy it if he was able to relax.

His nerves were entirely on fire, for now, it had been something at least, some form of emotion inside of his body that told him he was alive in some shape or form.

"This is going to be weird, isn't it?" Misty heard to which there was silence for but a second.

"Probably, I didn't come up with a plan." He said before he sighed before he rolled his eyes to himself, oh so curious for now. "Croconaw to be enjoying himself. I will at least be happy if he does not freak out like he usually does for now." He added with a sigh as he realized this was going to be an odd day, for now, a real odd one for the time being.

He did not know what to question before he seemed to question as of now. There was a focus on what to do next before he seemed to be tilted his head. He had not yet questioned what to do at this very moment before he sighed, unsure of what to do next.

He had not yet seemed to handle what to do next before now. There was something else on his mind. He had not yet found what to question at this moment for now. There was so much to focus upon.

This was not going to have gotten the way it needed to be. Not anytime soon. No, not like it needed to have been, such things had yet to get off the ground before it was all over before now.

Such things had not yet been an ending. It had not been the way it should have ended. He did not know what it could have been. He needed to have gotten to such a thing.

Misty watched as Croconaw flexed its hulking jaws. It had not been what she had expected, but she knew the Pokémon. She knew well enough to know that even if it did not have an obvious advantage over hers?

It could win if it was given the time and effort to have gotten to such a problem. This had yet to get ready for now. There were only a few things wrong with how he expected to have won… However? He did not know.

Still? She would be curious as to how this was going to have gotten before it was over while he questioned what to have gotten to a place.

It would be interesting for the time when this was all said and done now. It just needed to be done… He needed to have this done for now. They had so many problems on the line, something that could not have been planned, would not have been planned.

Yes, whatever else came down to it? Landon knew he was in for just as much of a fight as anyone else. He just could not pretend to fake it, for now, he could not pretend to have pushed his luck further than he could have now. Whatever the move he made next.

He was too prepared for such a tactic and how well it would have worked if he had not been prepared for it. They had so much more to focus on and it… Bothered him. it bothered him greatly to the end of his days. They had so much more to focus upon, something new that had not been there before.

If he was honest? Landon rather liked this battle. It allowed him to stretch his feet and keep moving, there was too much he wanted to have done that he just could not deal with for the time being.

It bothered him if he was fully honest with himself at the end of the day. There was a lot more that had to be dealt with more and more, for now, a desire to try and figure out as of now, they had a lot more to figure out as he hummed, ready to try something.

So, odd for the time being that it terrified so many people to the end, it was such an odd little venture that it became almost a paradox of itself.

Yes, very odd and oh so unwilling to change anytime soon… So odd and yet so good to it all…. A very interesting little tidbit of history and yet all so odd, a very nice little nugget of information to them all so well.

Misty seemed to be prepared, for now, only clicking to the side, and yet? Well, it was all more and more focused upon now, all of it was odd, Landon was quiet, focused only upon trying to defeat themselves.

Misty was going to be focused upon and yet it was odd little odder and odder. Misty was fixated on trying to stop end it yet seemed to question before looking at him and yet it seemed to be odd more and more.

"Are we going to end it more and more? I do not even know what to do next." Misty asked before looking down at the ground.

More and more problems came to the forefront and would not be ended anytime soon.

Yes, it seemed as if problems needed to end and could be ended for now. Landon did not at all know what to do next, he did not want to try and figure out, something else to try and deal with.

This was an ideal battle he would win the same way he had done before, with grit, determination, and the wisdom to try and carry on from it all over and over with proper business.

Yet if he did lose, he had come back and simply challenge her again, eager to steer down the path that he was capable of and not at all ready for such a thing to end anytime soon, nor would it be so easily dealt with

"Are we going to fight or…?" Misty asked, gesturing to the battlefield.

"Yes, I am sorry. I am just trying to think and handle it as best I can… It is not as easy as you think, but it is something at least, something I cannot think as well as I wanted to… It's really hard to think at times and I don't know what to say or even do… Not as much fun." Landon said while drumming his hands on his knees as he did so, not ready to try and focus more and more.

Such problems would get harder and harder to deal with and he was not at all willing to just surrender and back down, there was more upon which his mind.

He did not at all match such in the way that she could only understand him in battle. She knew more and more that she wanted more and more of what to try and think about what to try next.

Landon for his part was silent as he watched Croconaw. There was little he could and would seek to do upon now… There was a lot more upon which he could and would continue to grow inside him.

Misty was still a lot tougher to try and take down than he was going to guess with… Still? if he was going to be able to win? He had to fight smart and he was not going to back down from a challenge, he really would not allow himself to the next moment, the next time he fought.

Well, he would not be cocky enough to find that to be a flaw, not one she could bring to heel for now even if it killed him for the time being and he would continue to fight to the end for now.

Misty could only watch the battle with some interest, unsure of what her next move would be at the end of the day. There was not going to be a LARGE amount of admission as he hummed to himself, ready to try and figure out for the end of the day.

They had a lot more to see and do at the end, something else that bothered him, again and again…. They had a very large thing to try and figure out as he hummed to hummed as he looked once more as to the end of the day.

They had something that had to be addressed once more, an idea that continued to be odder and odder for the day's end now. This was not going to be odder and odder for the time being when it came down to it.

Misty looked down at him, ready to end this before it ended properly. Their fight would end hopefully sooner or later for the time being as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and hummed once against the roof of his mouth.

Yet? All of it was just too much to deal with, knowing that what was to come next would end it all to the core, knowing that it just could not be helped as he could be able to try and deal with it again and again.

Such a thing was too much more and more as she sighed to himself before she relaxes.

They had a lot more to try and deal with as of now as she sighed once again, something about it all just relaxed her more and more when it came down to it again and again. There were a lot of messages that would not need to be able to be dealt with for now.

This just was not something that would need to be dealt with for now as she yawned and looked downwards at the ground, all of it would need to be dealt with it if could fall into place… And such things would continue.

Perhaps it would need more and more madness for the moment, something would be dealt with for now.

He did not know what to expect and it seemed to be something that she did not know at all, simply walking through the madness that could be done with and done in.

The idea of it? The idea would be beyond all such ideals and a measure that would become a measure of magic, a decision that would require to be done for now.

Misty would not be through with the idea that seemed to be dealt with for now as he paused to be thrown off for now.

This would be utterly for now and he clicked before he seemed to try and figure something out… Landon seemed to be utterly thrown for now as she looked to try and deal with for now… They had a LOT more to try and deal with something for now.

This would not be something to try and ensure for now. She cracked her fingers before she seemed to grow more and more and more with what to try and do something else to figure something.

Landon drummed his fingers on his knees, pausing to try and think of what to try and figure out something before it came down to it more and more with each little moment of each little day, pushing them towards something they could not deal with, should not deal with.

He had a LOT more on his mind, something about it all seemed to make Landon want to hurl only for it to try and deal with it for now… He had been willing to try and figure something for now and he cracked his fingers.

The two looked downwards at the ground, too interested in what was going on, for now, he cracked a smile.

He had been ready to deal with for now, there was something else on the horizon, something hidden in the mud he could not envision… Would not have envisioned. He would not see it all come tumbling down, he had not been willing to act on the emotion.

She was a chaotic little soldier, something for now, she had been too well designed, unwilling to have said something, anything to have been beaten back and such an issue.

He was going to die, but he would die in service for now. That was a boon he could have relaxed for the moment and it would not relent for now.

He did not wish to be turned into something for now as he looked to the ground.

He had been too familiar with something for now as he clicked his fingers and then looked to the ground… Such a thing was growing harder to try and deal with for now.

He had a lot now on his mind. So much had to go right for him to win. He was too interested for now and that was just going to keep pushing him further along the path once again.

"You know you are not going to win the game if you do not make a move, right? I am reading you." Misty stated.

"To be fair… I honestly did not think I would get this far." Landon stated as he sighed.

He had been too interested as he clicked his fingers and then looked to the side.

"You know more and more? I can honestly respect that…" Misty stated before she sighed. "Wait, you came here with no plan? Were you planning to wing it that badly?" Misty heard.

"You want a lie or something better?" Landon asked before he sighed, thinking for a moment as he clicked his fingers and then looked to try and deal with something which amused him.
