"The Cardinal Virtue of Prudence"
Bayonetta was holding Cereza. They saw a helicopter above them and Luka jumped from the copter "Let's go!" Luka said to the girls and boy.
Something was in the water Bayonetta and Phantom knew they had to fight Bayonetta handed Cereza to Luka "Mummy! Mummy!" Cereza didn't want to part ways.
"It's OK, little one. I'll be right back." Bayonetta said.
"Don't worry we'll beat ya on the copter." Phantom said.
Once the two leave Bayonetta and Phantom faced the angel "The woman fled so swiftly. I am reminded why we have to come to rely upon the unreliable nature of humanity." the angel said.
This angel was Sapientia. "A valuable lesson, but not my purpose. I have come to evaluate you and determine whether you are worthy of your role in the resurrection of the Creator, Jubileus." Sapientia said.
Bayonetta threw something into his mouth "Score!" Phantom said.
"Another talkative type. I don't think we've got time to entertain your blather, I'd much rather hear it straight from your boss." Bayonetta said.
"You speak of our "boss"!? Sapientia asked.
The resurrection 500 years ago fell victim to his human ineptitude, and we were unable to revive the Creator. However I must thank the Sage for his witch hunts. His impetus eradicated a vile clan from this Earth." Sapientia said.
"The witch hunts?" Bayonetta asked.
"Thanks to his efforts, this town has become a source of strength and we've gained a foothold strong enough to orchestrate the Creator's resurrection. All that remains is awakening the Left Eye, and uniting the Eyes of the World. Then the new era of creation shall arrive!" Sapientia said.
He strikes first Bayonetta and Phantom dodged it the two took pieces of the jet and turned it into a surfboard Phantom ditched his jacket now partly to embrace his new self.
The dup first attacked Sapientia's legs seeing the angel faces on them. Sapientia attacked a bit like a shark but the dup was able to evade the attacks once the legs were weaken they summoned Phantasmaraneae to have it tear the wings off. "Boom!" Phantom said.
The angel retreated into the depths of the ocean but the heroes were not done. They weakened the angel and finished it by summoning more Phantasmaraneaes to tear him apart all that was left was the head "I have no idea why you would want this stone, it would look absolutely terrible on you. Much too flashy." Bayonetta said.
"Stone? You think this is all about some worthless rock!?" Sapientia laughed.
"May Jubileus, the Creator, grace you!" Sapientia said.
Infernal demons claimed the angel's head the duo returned to the helicopter and somehow beat Luka and Cereza "Welcome aboard, Cheshire." Bayonetta said.
"Oh, fucking hell!" Luka's reaction
"Mummy!" Cereza said.
"I told you I'd be right back." Bayonetta said.
"Shouldn't you be, you know, flying this thing? I'm a bit occupied at the moment." Bayonetta said.
Luka took control and the group headed to the island.
