The world shifts into a razor focus, shrinking down to a single point. "Ladybug, its Hawkmoth. I could see that Alden was making you upset so I gave you the power to make him a mannequin. He is at your command as anyone you touch. I just ask for two jewels in return. Your earrings and Cat Noir's ring."

I stand there, thinking. Cat Noir matters if nothing else does, and the little life I have growing inside me. The signal with Hawkmoth fades like a cell phone with bad reception. The room is full of statues and I exit the room, they are meaningless now.

I need to find a mirror, and a toilet for being akumatized makes me feel slightly nauseous. People gasp and scream with terror, and I'm quick silence them. I look down at my clenched fist, seeing the pink knitting needle. Tap after tap I silence them, till all can be heard is my own footsteps.

Finally, I find a mirror and step inside, thankful that I'm alone. I take a glance in the mirror and wish that I hadn't, but I can't tear my eyes away. I still look like myself, sorta. My hair is styled in two elaborate buns that look like pincushions. My bluebell eyes are now a dark black, and red lipstick covers my lips.

I no longer wear a spotted red and black suit, its a patchwork suit of all the colors of the rainbow. I'm the Climate Tailor, and though Hawkmoth didn't give me a name, I'll name myself. The sick feeling in my tummy passes and I wander back out into the hall.

Silence once again greets my ears, and I walk over to the window. From here I can see the Paris skyline, a breathtaking sight to behold.

"Ladybug, I've found you at last." I smile and shake my head. "Ladybug is no more. I'm Ultimate Tailor. Though, I thought I got rid of you for good a long time ago when you fell into the mist."

"Looks like your mistaken, and now I'm more powerful then ever. But why would want to get of me rid, turning Adrien, your precious Cat Noir into a orphan." I narrow my eyes as I hear the malice in hos voice. "I believe you loved your son once, but the Miraculous made you hungry for power, turning your back on him when he needed you most."

I have dodge and reflect his advances and I whip out my yo-yo, whirling and deadly. "Don't come any closer," my voice is sharp like a needle. "How dare you talk to me like that! How do you what's best for my son?!" "Give me your Miraculous, and together with Cat Noir's ring we can bring Emile back so we can be happy again. All the fighting would go away, all you have to do is hand over your earrings to make the wish."

I shake my head, and step back slowly, my eyes falling on a beautifully decorated vase. All I need is the tiniest distraction, so I can slip away. Time passes so slowly, but I throw the vase causing him to jump back.

"I'll take them myself, Ladybug! I will have your Miraculous!"

But I'm gone, pounding down to the elevator, pushing the down button rapidly. I sob with relief as the doors slide open and I scan the myriad of buttons, needing to get away. My hand slams into the pool button down in the basement. At least there with my water powers, it should buy me some time.

The air in the pool room burns my eyes from the chlorine, but there's no time to think, I need to bide. Changing quickly, I dive into the blue water and sink to the bottom. Maybe I am a coward for running, maybe Hawkmoth is right. I don't know how to cure Emile. What if I'm just a failure?

Adrien's face when he saw his mother lying there, haunts me because I couldn't do a thing. The darkness is starting to creep over me, and despair weighs me down. I struggle to hold back the darkness, and I feel myself growing tired, maybe I should let despair win.

This isn't you! You never give up on the ones you love. Be strong, know you are not alone and are loved! I swipe at my eyes, even if I don't matter Cat Noir does. I won't fight him if I see him, now that I'm akumatized, right? I guess there's only one way to find out.

Ladybug: Cat, I'm akumatized, and I don't know how to break free. If you get this message, I'm in the pool. I don't know if I'll fight you if I'll see, but know this, I love you.

Ten minutes passes, fifteen. Still no sign of Cat, and I sigh. Of course he isn't coming. Its a big building, and he might of run into Hawkmoth. I don't want Cat to lead him to me.

I've always had my loyal partner right by my side, giving me a word of love when things got tough, a pun when I need a laugh. I feel so alone, a bubble wraps around me, and if I would scream no one would hear my cries.

I need to get to Cat before he gets injured, even if it puts me at risk. Cat (Adrien) who I love with all my heart.

I exit the pool, rubbing myself quickly dry with a towel and then descend upwards. I search frantically room by room, but no sign of my enemy, no sign of Cat Noir.

I head back to the fifth floor, after all, that's where things left out. Well, certainly something has happened here, because chairs, tables a wave of chaos and destruction has passed by here.

I pass a pair of girls and run up to them. "Please, where is Hawkmoth? Where is Cat Noir?" "We've haven't seen them," one of the girls stammers and pulls her friend away quickly. I must look hideous and of course their scared, seeing one of Paris's heroes akumatized.

I walk over to one of the banks of computers, tapping away at the cameras, my search of room by room is proving useless. In Conference Room 2C, I zoom in the camera closer, isn't that Cat Noir? Yes, it is Cat, and I touch the screen with my hand. If I can find Cat, he can help me and will defeat Hawkmoth together.

I find the stairwell, and begin to jog, each breath, each step getting me closer to Cat. Finally, I find Conference Room 2C and slam open the doors, but find a empty room. Cat was here, where is he?

"So desperate to be united with your love and come to your partner's rescue. You two are truly made for each other." Hawkmoth stands in the doorway, a evil smile on his face. "What did you do with Cat?" Hawkmoth holds up a hand and walks into the room. "Such a impatient Ladybug, and I thought you need patience to be a good seamstress." "Where. Is. Cat. What. Did. You. Do. To. Him.?"

"Give me your Miraculous, and we'll talk. And we all know you do anything for Adrien, right?" My eyes are blue fire. I have to think slowly and clearly and not do anything rash. Cat can take care of himself, at least until I come up with a plan. "No deal." "No deal, no Cat Noir. You can make this hard, but you can also make this easy, Ladybug. Hand over your Miraculous."

"No. I can't let you have that kind of power. Its to dangerous." Hawkmoth sighs, and if I knew better you'd think he'd be accepted defeat as he stands up. "Your going to regret saying that." He turns, his purple cape billowing, but then he swivels and his cane comes crashing down onto of my head.

Searing white hot pain travels through my body, and I start to slump to the floor. "You may have thought you won, but Cat will come for me…."

The world slips away into peaceful darkness, no more worries, no more cares. The blackness is like a blanket that I want to wrap myself in, chasing out the world's hurt. What is this dark place of peace, of restfulness? What if I want to go back…..

Cat's POV…..

Cat Noir cataclysmed the door holding him hostage, running to where he'd see the door ajar. Bursting into the room he saw his lady not moving on the floor. Hawkmoth was bending over her in triumph, about to pluck her precious jewels.

"You monster," Cat let out a strangled cry. "Your going to pay dearly for that, Father." Cat swung his baton, hitting a surprised Hawkmoth full in the face, causing him to crash and topple through the window.

Cat knelt down besides Ladybug, not moving or blinking. "Bugaboo, please wake up. Please. Was I to late?" Silence filled Cat's ears as their was no reply. "No, no, you have to stay with me! I don't want to be alone!"

Cat knew that the only way to save Ladybug now was the temple in Tibet, and he needed the Horse Miraculous. Now that Hawkmoth was dead, Ladybug was DE-evilzed "Claws In. Plagg, you need to retrieve the Butterfly Miraculous and then go as fast as you can for the Horse. Hurry, there isn't much time."

Plagg darted away without a word, and Cat took his lady's hand. She'd be alright, she had to be. The monks would fix her right as rain and she wear that little pout again in no time.

Plagg sailed back in the broken window, carrying the Miraculous. "I came as fast as I could." Adrien nodded, pinning the Butterfly Miraculous to his shirt, he'd worry about that later. "Khaali, I could use your help."

Before Adrien made the portal, he leaned down to kiss her soft lips. Adrien hoped with all his heart this wasn't a goodbye kiss.
