Musical One Shots Take 4
Sometimes he really hated Qrow's semblance, and this was one of those times.
Qrow had appeared at his house in Patch late one evening and asked if he had some spare time to go with him to complete a quick recon mission for Ozpin.
Taiyang had some free time as school was closed for a week for the springtime vacations and Ruby and Yang were staying at Beacon for their spring break so he agreed and the two set off ithe next morning.
After a quicker than expected AND successful recon mission Qrow suggested they go to the bar in the nearby town.
With a shrug Tai agreed and the duo made their way to the town and after checking into the inn and dropping their stuff off there, they made their way over to the bar.
Upon arrival they found out it was karaoke night there, something that the bar apparently held once a week on Wednesdays.
They looked at each other and both shrugged before walking in and taking a seat at the bar as some blonde haired woman sang up on stage.
"Two beers please." Qrow said to the bartender with a wink, as the bartender rolled her eyes in response and reached down to get the beers.
Placing both on the counter and popping the tops off both, she slid them forward and then took the lien chip Qrow placed down before moving on to the next customer.
"Cheers to a successful mission." Tai said as he clanked his bottle against Qrow's.
"And cheers to my semblance not acting up." Qrow said with a grin.
"Did you really have to tempt fate like that?" Tai said with a sigh.
"Please, what's the worst that could happen now that we are in the village? A person spills their drink on you? The eight you take to bed turns out to be a four? Have a fun night and relax Tai, now if you excuse me, I got someone giving me the eye." Qrow said as he walked off and approached a red haired woman sitting by herself in the corner.
"Well, I hope he is right about that." Tai said as he set down his now empty beer bottle and ordered another.
Two more beers after that Taiyang was beginning to feel the start of a buzz and was actually thinking Qrow hadn't jinxed anything. Qrow was actually getting cozy in the corner booth with the redhead and a few people had even approached him and chatted with him for a while.
Then she walked in.
One look and he instantly knew who she was. After all he spent more time than he cared to admit staring into those red eyes, and a red and black outfit color combo was recognizable anywhere.
"What is she doing here? Her semblance literally knows where we are at. So she shouldn't, oh-" Tai thought to himself before he came to a conclusion.
Quickly looking to the opposite direction of the entrance he saw the karaoke manager's table empty of patrons and he had an idea pop into his head.
With a grin he got up and walked towards the man before whispering something into his ear.
A similar grin to the one on Tai's face appeared on the face of the manager who nodded and motioned to the stage.
With a pat on the shoulder, Tai began making the short walk to the stage and hopped up on it after seeing Raven be passed a drink from the bartender.
The grin never left his face as he tried to change his voice when he said "This song is for the woman in the red and black." He looked towards the manager and nodded, who then pressed the button and the music began playing.

At this point Raven had gotten her drink and turned to the stage as Tai kept singing. She was shocked to see Tai up on stage, not thinking it would be something he'd normally do.

It was at this point the crowd in the bar was beginning to laugh along with the song and even Qrow had pulled his attention from the woman he was currently hitting it off with to join in the laughter. Raven however was beginning to look as if she was getting angry as Tai kept singing.

It was at this point, Raven looked very upset as she slammed her empty bottle down on the counter and began walking out of the bar. With a shit eating grin on his face, Tai kept singing, albeit a bit louder now, so he could wrap up the song as he waved with his free hand that wasn't holding the microphone.

Tai finished the song and gave a small bow as the bar's crowd erupted in more laughter and applause.
As he hopped off the stage the grin never left his face as he walked over, got two more beers and began making his way towards Qrow.
"Well looks like you were right Qrow. Here you go." Tai said as he placed one of the two beer bottles down and began walking towards a cute blonde at the end of the bar.

"Ow my head. I definitely drank too much last night." Tai said as he woke up.
With a small groan he sat up and had to put his hands down to stabilize himself. His left hand hit the mattress, his right hand hit something much softer, and squishier.
With a slight look to his right, Tai saw a blonde haired woman whose head was currently facing the right and whose chest he currently had a hand on.
"Aw heck yeah. I still got it." Tai thought to himself as he took in the woman's beauty.
Appearing to feel the touch the woman's head turned towards him as her eyes slowly blinked open and Tai could feel all the color drain from his face as he recognized the woman.
"Uh well this is going to make for one awkward parent-teacher conference." Tai said as the blonde woman sat up and upon realizing her nude form let out a slight shriek as a purple glow encased Tai as he was flung out the room's window.
"Damnit Qrow." Tai said as he was sent flying.
There you go, that makes four. Story would have been up sooner but I lost power for 4 hours because some random pine tree decided today would be a good day to take a fall. Anyway RKDM chapter 20 draft outline is finished, so after some feedback from the betas I will just fill in the dialogue and action parts and then that can be released. I will be on vacation in a place where Wi-Fi is not the most easily accessed for a week at the beginning of July but look for that chapter to post sometime mid to late July if I had to guesstimate.
