John looked over to Alex. He could guess what was happening next now, tired to the end, relaxing only for now.
he looked at the kid who looked over his ring the same way a marine did their rifle, gently clasping it over his chest. This kid honestly did care for the ring for more than a toy or a bauble.
He hummed as if this kid was a bit older. John might have requested he would be a Green Lantern. However, it seemed fate had a lot more plans than this, ones he could not have allowed to occur anytime soon.
He sighed and then sat down on the tree stump next to him. He had a lot more ideas to deal with than this, it almost made him wish to scream and break something.
"It's hard being a soldier, yeah?" Alex asked. "Waiting to act, to fight when it is for a group and not on your own rules? Not knowing if you won or if it mattered at all?" Alex asked.
"Been a soldier at all?" John asked.
"No, that is not how a huntsman is… Their alone, they act on their gut, they fight their wars." Alex stated. "But I kinda know how being a soldier is, it's hard when you don't know where you are and where you're supposed to be," Alex stated as he sighed.
He had been able to think, knowing whatever was going on seemed to be dealing with for now and for a good reason. Alex was smart enough to probably be a lantern and he seemed to have accepted that ability willingly.
It was admirable but he guessed the corps did not tell him that. He supposed it was only natural given the fact he did not grasp what was expected of him at the end of the day.
He yawned, tired, exhausted, and worn down… But it was day to day and that was enough for him even if he did not wish to.
There would be time for that later, a lot more time to have to deal with it either way, knowing what would come. Now? Now he had to try and relax for now, knowing what would become of it now, he could expect something better than this.
He clicked his fingers, knowing what would become of it either way, knowing what would come next, there was chaos.
All of it was hard enough to try and figure it out as it was said and done. He clicked his fingers as he paused to let it all seem to be clicking into place.
Jessica seemed to be dealing with something similar. All this planet was making them thrown for a loop, all of it was making it odder and odder for him to grasp for it.
He would not be able to hide it for now as he clicked his fingers. There was more pain, more suffering now, and chaos that would not end for a good and long time.
Alex hummed and he knew it, something that would not end now, not just for now but for good reason.
What he did do next? He would continue it for good reason, he seemed to be cracking his fingers, knowing what would become of it for now and it seemed to be a message to deal with for now.
He had been able to grow, to fight, to throw himself to the side.
(With Jessica)
Jessica felt snow fall upon her coat and pulled up her jacket's hood. She did not know what was growing on her mind and she was too quiet to think.
Whatever it was? There would be something else growing on her mind.
"So… You have your ring now and it is not acting up?" Jaune paused to think of what was happening.
"Nope, it is acting like it usually does. The ring usually does it." Jessica stated before she sighed to herself. "It usually acts up like this and I have no idea what to say," Jessica stated.
He had been too unable to dwell on it for now, he would not let it all come to that for now. He would not let anything hurt his friend, knowing that was something that he could finally relent for now.
He had been too unable to figure it out as he clicked his fingers and then Jaune paused to let himself try and figure it all out.
There was something else to try and figure out as she was able to deal with it for now.
She was silent, merely brushing little bits of snow off her clothes. She would not let it all come crashing down to the ground… Such was life and life seemed something to be thankful for.
She was silent, unable to figure out what was to become next. She clicked her fingers, poking them together to let it all end for now and for good reason.
She would not be able to figure it out as she sighed. There was some chaos in her mind, knowing that the future was just as impossible.
There was more to their goal than before. Something that made her blood boil was trying to figure it out but not knowing what was about to happen when it was all said and done.
(With John and Alex)
John blinked, looking to the side, knowing what was growing down the road, there was more to this, a lot more to it for now. He was silent, guessing that it was better than what he could properly figure out as it came down to it.
He would not be able to figure it all out, knowing what was coming and what would come next before it was all said and done at the end of his plan.
He would not be able to try and figure it out as he sighed and then looked to the side. He seemed to grow it for now and then focused more and more.
Brilliant blue light spilled from his ring in an ocean of color which made John blink. Who was this kid? He was too hopeful for someone who lived on a planet with giant monsters from what Jessica had told him. He was silent, knowing what was growing in his brain.
He sighed and then looked to the side, guessing that Jessica was busy and he needed to give her more time.
"Do you like your ring?" Alex asked to which John paused and then looked over to the side. "I like mine. Azure feels like… He and I know each other." Alex stated.
"I am attuned to being used by you, Alex… It is how I was created, like how all rings are." Azure stated.
"Well, you feel like a friend and I think we all need a friend," Alex stated before he sighed. "It isn't hard to be nice but it's hard to be hopeful," Alex stated.
John was silent, knowing what was growing on his mind, knowing what was happening next and he would be able to relax for a good reason.
John was not stupid either. He could tell that the other emotions were just as special as willpower. He had no desire to be a soldier like this but he could act the best as one would and that was enough for him.
Though? John did respect other soldiers when they did what they could and it was clear to him that Alex was a warrior and he acted like someone who wanted to help others now.
This kid was something. Yet, he was hopeful for a reason and John wanted to know what it was now.
"Alex, why are you so damn hopeful?" John asked to which Alex hummed and then looked to the side, pausing to think.
"Because if I am not hopeful? I would give up… Because there is always something to be hopeful over." Alex stated.
John paused and then nodded before Alex hummed.
"I am hopeful because I want to help people and if I am hopeful? Then I will not give up, I will keep fighting to help people. It is why I signed up to be a huntsman, so I can help others." John stated before he sighed to himself.
"Sorry for asking," John stated to which Alex shrugged.
"It's a question, it isn't bad to ask a question, is it?" Alex asked. "Why do you keep calling me kid? Kid, kid, kid. I am not that young, might be younger than you… But that isn't my fault, is it?" Alex asked to which he paused to try and figure it all out.
Alex could guess that John had been a soldier for a long time, long enough to know what was going on at the time and there was something he did not know.
(With Jessica)
Jessica was silent, leaning on the wall. Atlas reminded her of Oa in a few ways with fancy buildings all over the place.
Then she looked at Jaune. She did not expect him to have gotten a ring like that while she had been away. The other corps had been busy and it was clear battle lines were to be drawn on Remnant.
The Justice League did not know the scale of the other corps, they were mostly protecting the galaxy, the little guy from others, it was clear more and more what was going on at the end of the day.
Still? She wanted help, she could not do everything alone. She knew that from Jaune and it was clear that trying to be nice was not easy.
She sighed, fidgeting her hands as she sighed to let herself fall silent, she had been able to relax once more around friends… And around new friends.
She did not know what was happening here. This planet continued to amaze her now, being so odd and yet so willing to relax for now.
She decided to go fight Grimm. The monsters drew off fear and negative emotion but it was clear that such a thing was next to impossible to confirm or deny until it was staring them straight in the damn face.
So damn much about this planet excited her but it was clear that this planet would also probably be their tomb if they were not careful.
She knew this, she knew it well enough and did not once falter for now.
It was clear that life would have other plans, either way, very different plans.
So did she, that would not change at this very moment, there was something else dwelling in the darkness, knowing that it would not be impossible to relax.
She had a lot more to see and do, a lot of things that would not be able to end because of it all at the time.
Jessica flew off and into the air a second later, guessing that she would be learning to fight them sooner or later.
(With John and Alex)
Alex slowly started to try and work on bringing back something that could not be said and done for now. It was not funny, not one bit and it would clear to have to adapt and do.
Perhaps it was life, perhaps it was them. John could see clearly that it was said and done for now, something not once covered by it for now as he clicked his fingers.
There was something more relaxing at the end of the day, something that would not be easier to fix for now as he clicked his fingers together. This was going to end one way or another and it would end now if anything was to be said about it for the time being.
(With Jessica and Jaune)
Jessica paused to think, guessing what would do next.
All of it was a lot more to try and figure out as it came down to it for now, knowing what was to become of it and everything else.
There was a lot more to try and figure out. Jessica flew towards the wilderness at the end of the day before she seemed to be dealing with it for now.
In it was some sort of chaos when it was all said and done, something would be dealt with for now… Jaune followed but she did not know what was growing on her mind before she seemed to glance again towards their direction for now.
There was something to have to deal with it. She paused to grasp it all for now as she looked to the side.
This planet had brought something out of her, but she would relax for now. She would not be able to try and deal with it as she looked to the side, knowing what would come next for now.
Such knowledge was important but it was written in stone what awaited them… He had unofficially accepted her into the other side of the world.
This was not something that could be decided without action for now, there were a lot of things that needed to be dealt with for now.
She seemed to be eager to fight, to deal with for now, not once more as it came down. She wanted to be dealt with and there was something more chaotic than this.
All of it was to be decided on the battle for now.

There was a golden light flying towards them, something that was falling towards them. There was a massive beam of light that fell upon them before she relaxed.
John knew what it was. Alex seemed blissfully aware, knowing what was going on as he paused, thinking of what was going on at the end of the day.
This golden light was obvious, it was clear that such a thing would become have become obvious for now.
There was a lot more to this, wasn't there? A chaotic little thing that would not be easy to figure all out, guessing that this warrior was beyond something natural.
He could not for the life of him grasp what it was. he sensed something in his mind, grasping once again as he sighed.
"Friend of yours?" Alex asked, keeping the ring on his fingers.
He would not falter if this was an enemy, not once would he submit once and for now, knowing just what this was

I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will set up the first fight scenes… It will also set the ball rolling for seasons 7-8 of RWBY which is the only season this story is covering for now.
