EG-5 Duel
RWBY and others battle their EG-5 Droid Counterparts.

Ruby Rose's POV
"We are deployed into battle against our EG-5 Droid counterparts because we notice they are terrorizing a small town outside of Vale. When we confronted them they made the first move before we can, oh my, they not only have our weapons they also have our Semblance and Aura too and they fight better then the rest of us leaving us having difficult time trying to keep up with their fighting style which they mimic from us.
"But we need to defeat them no matter what and they are still just Droids."

Present Time
Team RWBY continues to battle their EG-5 Counterparts but they are giving the Heroines a very big pounding with blacks, bleedings and bruises, even some of clothes have been torn up because the EG-5 Droids have unlimited supply Aura and Semblance unlike Team RWBY who can run low. Team RWBY were able to avoid getting caught in Weiss's Glyphs that's used by the Weiss EG-5 Droid, then avoid being blown to bits by the Ruby EG-5 Droid's Crescent Rose Sniper Rounds.

"We won't last very long against these EG-5 Droids using our Aura and our fighting style!" Weiss said to everyone else.
"But we still need try to defeat them no matter what Weiss", Ruby said while clashing with her EG-5 Droid Counterpart and starting pushing her back due to it's strength much to Ruby's shock before using her speed to ram it back.
"Despite how skilled these EG-5 Droids are, they are still just Droids", Blake reminded them that they are still Droids while sword fighting her EG-5 Counterpart.
Yang took one swipe of punch right at her Yang EG-5 Droid directly in the face damaging one of it's left optic and yet it continues to fight on because it never lost it limbs. "There are just Droids and we can scrap them no matter what how much they can keep fighting", Yang said after seeing what she has done to the Yang/EG-5 Droid that has the same Weapons.

Weiss holds up against the Weiss/EG-5 while avoiding the glyphs, Weiss herself use her own glyphs to cause a tree to collapse on top of the Weiss/EG-5 Droid who was unable to escape it due to it getting stuck on Weiss's Glyphs. Well the Weiss/EG-5 Droid ended up getting crush by the tree, as it tries to crawl it's way out Weiss decapitates it defeating it completely, "how do you like that now?" Weiss ask marking her victory.
"You TINMAN!" Yang goes berserk after getting a piece of her hair torn off but gets pinned by the Yang/EG-5 Droid who starts to punch her in the face but Yang was able to keep avoiding this by moving her head back and fort before kicking it off before she fired what shot that blows it's head off destroying it completely, "Shame I never got to see if you can't go on full berserk mode like I can", Yang commented.
Next there is Blake continuing to sword fight the Blake/EG-5 Droid but in the end she kicks off the Blake/EG-5 Droid's Gambol Shroud out of it's metal hands then impales it right in the head decapitating it and it falls on the floor, "I'm better than my doubleganger."
Lasty Ruby use her speed to try and evade the Ruby/EG-5 Droid who is pursuit of her, Ruby halts as she use her Crescent Rose to slice the Ruby/EG-5 Droid in half and then finished it off with a single shot of her Sniper round, "I'm a better wielder of Crescent Rose than you", Ruby said before putting her Crescent Rose away.

Aftermath
"Well that puts an end to our EG-5 RWBY Droid Counterparts", Ruby said before getting a message from Hakaze and they open their Holo-Disc.
"What is it Hakaze?"
"Get back to ship, there is an ultimatum you need to hear", Hakaze tells Team RWBY to return to the Republic Fleet due to an Ultimatum.
"On our way", Team RWBY then boards the Nu-Class Shuttle then heads back into space.

CIS Fleet Elsewhere
"Supreme Leader, it seems James Ironwood isn't going to relent despite that he already knows we are using him", a ST-Series Super Tactical Droid told CIS Supreme Leader Samon Kusaribe about James Ironwood's unrelenting moments despite hearing the speech from Hakaze.
"Well he is already consumed by his fear and paranoia so he thinks he can save Remnant by playing things his way. Also that bomb he was originally going to use to destroy the Monstra, he might aim it at Mantle in order to get the Winter Maiden which is Penny Polendina back", Samon suspects that James Ironwood is really going to do something really evil just to have Penny returned to him despite he already knows that the Maidens and Relics are just trinkets for all sides to fight over.

"But we have other plans for Solitas so we might have Atlas and Ironwood shut down and disposed of because his and their usefulness to us is already near an end", Samon means whatever evil plan that James Ironwood is planning is about to get interrupted by the CIS's intervention.
"Besides Ironwood just created a pointless kind of war that will weaken all Factions on Remnant who are trying to oppose Salem, but that's exactly what we wanted which make it easier to seize control of Remnant even if the Galactic Republic is here on Remnant", Samon said knowing what James did will make everyone will be too weak to stand against the CIS even if the Republic are there to aid them.

Acclamator-Class Assault Ship
"Everyone we are about hear the ultimatum coming from a now insane James Ironwood", Hakaze said as they watch on a channel, everyone in Remnant including the CIS are watching on every channel.
"I have always promised to defend this kingdom, its technology, its future, from those who would see it destroyed. Our enemy is crippled even if we finally looked into the eyes our creators and founders which is the Galactic Republic and the CIS, but one individual still denies Atlas its salvation. The Protector of Mantle. Penny, wherever you and your friends and allies are, I need you all to listen. I know how much Mantle means to you, so I'm going to give you a choice. You can bring yourself to Atlas Academy and do your duty. Help me save as much of Atlas as I can from our enemies and the CIS, and Mantle will be left to fend for itself. Or... you can all watch as I destroy it. I have... one bomb. That's all it will take. If there is no Mantle, then there is no reason for you not to work with me. Neither of us want it to come to that, but one of us is willing to do it. If anyone tries anything other than what I've ordered, Mantle... is gone. You have one hour to respond. I hope you live up to the title I gave you."

"He wouldn't dare!" Pyrrha not wanting to believe James Ironwood would commit genocide even the rest of the Remnant Heroes are shocked of James Ironwood's full descent to Villainy.
"Oh yes he would because he has already succumbed to his fear and paranoia then become the monster that the CIS wanted him to be. If the CIS is also watching, that bomb is never going to activated because James Ironwood's usefulness is already expiring and the CIS will shut everything it Atlas down", Hakaze warns them that the CIS are about to interrupt James Ironwood's plans.
"Like I said before, the CIS are responsible for putting James Ironwood into his position as General and Headmaster of Atlas because they knew about his fear and paranoia. But if he succeeds on destroying Mantle, then there will be retaliation", Hakaze mentions that the Galactic Republic will have both James Ironwood and Atlas punished in retaliation if they destroy Mantle.

Coming up next, after hearing an now James Ironwood's ultimatum speech that he will destroy Mantle if Penny is not returned, the Galactic Republic and their Allies begins the mission to save the people of Mantle, but the CIS will intervene because Ironwood's usefulness to them is already expiring, meaning that bomb that Ironwood is going to use is never going to activate.

Notes:
In Villains Wikia, James Ironwood's plan was to take Atlas up into space just to keep the Winter Maiden and the Relic away from Salem and her Forces. The problem is, since Mantle is the only know source for supplies, it's most likely all of the people of Atlas will starve out and die. Lastly even if James gets Atlas into space, Salem can still find a way up there.
So James Ironwood's plan is doomed to fail anyway.
