I can't believe I started this story back in June of 2012. It's almost done too. I also can't believe I got as many follows, favs, and reviews as I did. I love you guys so much. Thanks again.

Chapter 22: Montana Max

"WAGH! GAH! HEY!" Wakko shouted in exasperation as he ran about and dodged Buster's deadly puncture attacks. His tentacles were springing wildly all over as Wakko tried his best to keep dodging them all.

"I can't believe you're still jumping around. I could probably make you dance the Macarena if I wanted to." Buster said, not smiling at all as he made that inquiry. It normally would have come out as something of a joke way back when.

Wakko tumbled along the back of the ship and jumped in fear as a booming sound came from the ship that signaled that something inside of it had just exploded. It wasn't going to hold out for much longer.

"Keep your thoughts focused on staying alive." Buster shot his metal tentacles right at Wakko as he was stuck at the edge of the ship.

Wakko grabbed them as soon as they stopped in front of him and twisted them around each other. He began to drudge across the edge of the ship and tugged on them hard. Buster growled and activated the electric function on his wrist-weapon's tentacles for some added obstruction to Wakko's annoying resistance.

Wakko blinked in anxiousness and gulped before several jolts were sent throughout his body. He clenched his teeth and did quite the dance for Buster before he forced himself to let go and slumped down. He panted and began to sweat as he struggled to stand back up.

However, his face was whacked harshly across the side with the metal appendages once more. He was sent flying for a bit before he barely managed to grab at the edge of the ship and pull himself back up.

"You can't keep this up forever." Buster said, walking calmly along the top of the ship.

"I can try!" Wakko snapped.

Buster retaliated by slapping Wakko's face over and over with his tentacles, obviously not in the mood for anymore resistance. Wakko's face was smacked back and forth and back and forth to an outrageous degree!

Eventually, one of the harsh smacks, made blood spew from his mouth and Wakko felt one of his hands begin to slip.

Buster looked down at Wakko and made the decision to switch targets. Wakko realized by the look in Buster's eye that his hands were the new targets. When the metal appendage shot at Wakko's hand Wakko quickly moved it away so that it punctured the ship.

When Buster did it again, Wakko switched hands and did it quickly before he fell off. This went on for a few seconds before the rabbit gave up and shot it at Wakko's face.

Wakko had to think fast, obviously, and in that split second he managed to wrap his tongue around it to stop it from putting a hole in his face!

Wakko and Buster struggled a bit, with the middle Warner stepping up onto the top of the ship and managing to bring back a fist to try and punch Buster. Buster's other tentacle came out to wrap itself around Wakko's arm.

Wakko grumbled and tried his other arm but Buster did the same thing there!

Wakko struggled even harder to move his legs now but a third one wrapped around his leg. Wakko looked down at his feet and winced. He knew that it only made sense for Buster to-

Yup. His other leg was taken too.

Buster lifted Wakko up, with the Warner's body completely restrained.

"You're trapped now. I wonder what you're next move is." Buster chided as he stood there with his real arms crossed. Wakko sweated hard and kept jerking all over, not making any real successful movements at all.

Buster kept his solemn look and nonchalantly made his tentacles shoot the electricity through his system yet again! Wakko wanted to scream but his tongue was still wrapped around one of Buster's metal prongs. The wetness of his tongue was conducting the electricity and making his insides jolt too!

"Are you certain you want to keep going? Give up and I'll dispose of you while you sleep again." Buster said, calmly.

Wakko winced with his eyes shut. He cracked them open and saw the city coming up ahead. He could see it was in ruins and the numerous explosions going on around the city only heightened his worry for his friends and all the innocents in there.

Wakko let out a muffled scream as the electricity surged through him some more. It was an inhuman amount of pain and displeasure he was feeling.

"You're really stupid. Not the good kind of entertaining stupid either. You're just really, inept when it comes to living." Buster walked forward, hanging Wakko over the edge and stopping the flow of electricity.

Wakko's eyes were shut tight. He groaned and forced them to crack open, not trying to relent or give into what Buster was trying to do to him.

"… I'm stupid huh?" Wakko unraveled his tongue from Buster's weapon and closed his mouth, with his head now hanging down. The drop was long and steep. He wondered how it would feel, dying on impact.

"We're almost there… but we're coming in really low…" Buster muttered as he felt the ship start to shake and jolt. The side of the ship exploded and sent up plumes of smoke into both of their faces. "Ugh… what a disaster…"

"… You know, being stupid isn't so bad. After all, it's kept me from becoming what you are today." Wakko stared at Buster. He was staring right into his eyes and it made Buster angry, instantly.

"You think you're better than me or something?" Buster demanded.

"Now I do." Wakko's answer was swift and spoken as if it were a matter of fact.

Buster growled and swung Wakko back, getting ready to hurl him across the sky. Wakko used his strength to quickly move his arms so that Buster's tentacles would wrap over themselves. He crossed his legs to reach the desired effect too.

"What are you trying to do?! Holding onto them won't change a thing! I can chuck you off as hard as humanly possible with ease!" Buster shouted as the ship started to come down towards the height of the skyscrapers. They were entering and crashing into the city now. The warning siren of impending doom inside the ship was going haywire.

Wakko gritted his teeth and kept twisting the tentacles. He twisted as hard as he could despite how much it was hurting his body to do so.

"Y-You can try… but I'm too stupid to follow the laws of physics!" Wakko grinned and shouted in pain as he forcefully broke the four tentacles holding him up apart!

Buster stared at Wakko, wide-eyed and in disbelief.

"H-How…?!" Buster began to speak out in shock before Wakko shot his tongue out and latched it against the crashing ship. He grinned and pulled himself in and then shot his head right into Buster's gut! "GAAAH!"

Wakko held down onto Buster's body and looked ahead as the ship was nearing the ground. "Urgh… G-get off! Get off of me now!"

"Or what? You'll save yourself and let me crash and burn up! Sorry but I know you can still save us. So do it!" Wakko head-butted Buster and made him yelp in pain.

Buster winced, feeling his forehead swell up with blood. He felt his teeth grind as he began to snarl. He looked straight into Wakko's eyes. The ship was hurdling towards the ground like a missile now.

"Fine." Buster made two more tentacles and shot them off into opposite directions. One of them latched against the side of one building while the other latched onto a second one across from it. Wakko was wrapped around Buster, with a cheeky smile on his face as they were stuck in between the buildings while the ship crashed into the street below and exploded!

"Thanks Doctor Octopus! You're a hero!" Wakko grinned.

Buster slid down the sides of the buildings with his metal tentacles and landed promptly on the ground. He then grabbed Wakko by the head and tossed him off of his body. Wakko bounced on his butt several times before stopping and standing up with a new determined look on his face. He wasn't smiling or grinning in playfulness anymore. He obviously only did it to make Buster mad and not because he was excited about their battle. The explosions and cries of pain all around him were numb to him.

"Alright. Now we have a stable fighting ground buddy." Wakko said, staring ahead.

"Don't call me that." Buster spoke in a straight forward, no nonsense voice.

The cars and walls around the center of the street exploded all around. Max laughed like a maniac as he shot all over, trying to snuff his targets out of their hiding places.

"Come on kiddies! You talked so big a second ago! Then you just turned tail and ran when I hoisted up my big laser-weapon. I suppose being in the moment made you think you were a lot more awesome then you actually were…?!" Max laughed and watched as his equally crazed men fired off rocket launchers and random battering rams into everything in their path.

Stop signs, fire hydrants, stray dogs, you name it.

Dot hid behind a mail box and peeked out from her cover a bit. Her face was dirty and bloodied and her hair was a mess. It would've been something that probably would have bothered her before this whole mess started but now it just made her mad realizing all the stupid things she used to get upset about.

"Come on Skippy. Get in from behind already…" Dot muttered in anger.

"Found yah!" Max shouted out loud firing one determined blast at the mail box a short distance down the street! The impact was of an instant explosion and sent Dot reeling forward and onto her stomach. She began to carp in anger as she crawled to her feet, looking back at Max.

"Yo. How's it hangin'?" The spoiled boy was so excited to be taking part in the massacre. He set a dial on his weapon that sprang several lasers out at once in diagonal directions with one at the center heading right for Dot herself. The youngest Warner jolted and dived back, smacking her head against the concrete and slumped onto her back from the resulting pain.

She scrambled to open up her now hazed eyes and when she eventually managed it, she gasped in shock by how accurate the other lasers were in their pursuit of her death. They had struck the sides of the buildings that were around her locations, sectioning off large chunks of cinder and brick that came crashing down toward her in a steaming, fire storm!

Dot, having the common sense to know that all of that bunk hitting her would graciously skip the trip to the hospital and land her in the morgue, scrambled to her feet and dived forward as best as he legs could manage. She went right for Max who still wore that preppy, million-dollar grin on his face as he calmly raised his hand again to fire right at her!

"I guess this is checkmate missy. Too bad your play-mate turned his big bushy tail and raAAAAAH!" Max didn't get to finish his sentence. His throat was suddenly gargling screams as a result of the burning steel pile slamming against the back of his legs!

"Sorry Dot. I couldn't attack from behind as quickly as I would have hoped!" Skippy spoke with reverence as he gripped his weapon of choice. He watched as Max fell back and saw the pained tears forming in the jerk's eyes as he did so. It served him right.

Skippy winced and dropped the pipe, leaving his hands smoking due to it being something he grabbed off the fly and it just so happening to be heated from the fire and brimstone of destruction around them.

"Y-You-!" Max stomped his foot on the ground and went to spin and choke Skippy but by that time, Dot had dived right into him, managing to wrap her hand around his throat and sent him back into Skippy. The second she did this, all the debris that Max had shot down with his lasers had crashed and pushed the three of them back enough so that they were launched down the road.

The squirrel wrapped his arms around Max's waist and Dot kept her hands around Max's neck, effectively choking him. When they landed Skippy's body hit the ground first and the added effect of both Max and Dot being on top of him made the collision and skid he did across the steaming hot gravel road all the more painful. He belted out a horrific scream and blinked several times, unsuccessfully trying to keep from letting his tears fall.

"I'm sorry Skippy. I've almost got him knocked out!" Dot said, hoisting Max off the squirrel's body and slamming him into the side of a building. Max coughed and gripped the girl's arm as he struggled and kicked.

"Wh-Where's the baby and her pet dog? I probably blew them up while you were playing hide and seek you know!" Max choked out and grinned evilly at her.

Dot began to stammer. "They… Sk-Skippy they went with you right…?"

Skippy clenched his teeth. "B-Buttons… He took Mindy on his back and… I… I didn't see…" Skippy was feeling really ashamed of himself. Dot looked back at him in surprise while Max reveled in their failure.

"God you guys are stupid. Can't keep watch over a baby and a dog? What's the matter with you? They're not too hard to find, especially if you know where to look." Max said snapping his fingers.

Suddenly two of the crazed toons in Max's group came from behind a car and kicked Skippy out of their way. The squirrel cried out in pain and rolled along the ground as they held up Mindy and Buttons. Buttons was still conscious but trying in vain to retain enough strength to bark and bite at them.

Mindy, however, was bleeding from the forehead. He didn't know her condition which is probably why Buttons was crying and trying so desperately to bite the hand of the toon holding him.

"Whoa! Easy there Fido! We're all good friends here right?" The toon boy smirked this incredibly rage inducing look of superiority and displayed a snarky attitude that just made him want to bite this brat's face off!

Dot's undertone was that of disbelief. Their plan was a simple one sure but it going south so quickly was still a bit unprecedented. She simply wanted to provide a distraction so that Skippy could stop Max from behind but somehow they had ended up scrambled all over in this indirect fight. Maybe there was still a way though. They had a last resort surprise plan on their side. Hopefully, it could still work.

"You let him go now. You tell them to do it now or I'll-" Dot began before Max spat in her face. She winced and shut her eyes.

"Sorry sweetums but threats don't work against me in this crazy state. Look at me!" Max's red pupils and black eyeballs widened with excitement, gladly showcasing his newfound madness. "Do I look like I give a rat's ass if I live or die! Carnage and blood is all I care about! If it comes from my own body so be it!"

Dot clenched her teeth in even more anger and desperately slammed Max against the building's wall again. Max breathed out in pain but just began laughing again.

"Someone's about to lose a finger…" Max taunted.

Dot's eyes broadened and she looked back, seeing one of the boys holding a knife to Mindy's hand.

"Piece by piece she'll come apart…" One of the insane toons spoke out with relative happiness.

"NO! ST-" Dot started to speak but was silenced when she felt a sprang of pain shoot from her hand and radiate through her body. The burning smell and sensation that she had coaxed her throat to stunt it's intake of oxygen for just a few seconds before her head allowed itself to turn and watch the torrent of blood spew from her hand.

Max's laser had fired. Her pinky was gone.

"Whoops. Guess you got the wrong idea. My bad." Max laughed.

Dot's eyes vibrated as she stared at her hand. Her eyes teared up before she let Max go and instead cradled her hand, belting out a horrific scream!

"All I said was that someone was about to lose their finger. Why'd you assume it was Mindy I was talking about? I mean, what? Are you a complete idiot?" Max chided her as he brushed his bloody hand through his hair, messing it up and making it shine with crimson red. He stood there and smiled as he watched her yell out in pain and hold her hand close to her chest.

Skippy's eyes were as wide as dinner plates. He was staring right at her when it happened. The laser from Max's wrist was at an angle where it was able to slice off Dot's pinky but also managed to cut deep into the rest of her fingers. He couldn't believe it.

Max hummed an annoying song under his breath before kicking Dot in her gut. She huffed in more pain right as Max's elbow came down on her back and slammed her into the ground. She sputtered and moaned in frustration, crying and keeping her heavily injured hand close to herself.

Max pressed his foot onto her head and started to add pressure to his foot's descent, grinding his teeth in glee as he watched her cry and scream below him.

"This is… the greatest feeling I've ever had in my life. More than swimming in my own money; more than throwing bottle caps at children; more than that grand stake I used to get to eat every Labor Day thanks to the overtime of my butler and cooks…" Max looked down on Dot as he said all this. "I feel so free! It's so awesome little girl! I don't care anymore! Not about anything! Not life, or my own well-being, hell, I think I may finally be getting over my money! This is what Yakko feels! He doesn't want to go back to that life of Post-Animaniacs. He would rather put you behind him for good so he can feel like this for the remainder of his days!"

"… Yakko… Yakko loves us… too much…" Dot coughed and hacked. "… Underneath… underneath all of that there's still…"

"Huh? Didn't you pay attention to the master? His good side has been deleted. It's gone. So give up. I want to hear you finally say you give up. Then I'll crush your skull and be on my way." Max sneered.

"Oh? So … you're not gonna crush it if I keep saying that you're an idiot who doesn't have a right to tell me what my own brother truly feels on the inside…? That works out better for me then…" Dot forced a giggle from her mouth.

Max's face fell into one of annoyance.

"Crazy bitch! You're still saying this stupid crap even on your death bed? You Warners are crazy." Max said pointing his laser at Dot's head.

"… Yup… totally… insane-y…" Dot smirked. "NOW!"

"Eh?" Max blinked.

Mindy suddenly shot open her teary eyes and bit down hard on the hand of the toon that was holding her. Buttons' followed suit doing the exact same thing to the one holding him! It worked! Mindy managed to play possum just like they asked her to should she get caught. Fantastic!

The toons both screamed and dropped the two of them, allowing Buttons to trip them both so that they fell on their backs. Max zipped into action however and turned his laser away from Dot and at the two of them.

Dot, with Max's focus off her, spun her body a bit and jerked her head from under Max's foot, tripping him up a bit. She then shot her foot into his chin, making his head slam against the wall behind him!

Dot shot up and bolted toward Mindy and Buttons while Skippy managed to claw his way to his feet. The two of them jumped and slammed their fists against the two downed henchmen to knock them out!

Skippy and Dot both let out a sigh of relief.

"Sheesh… You'd think this craziness would eventually start to feel more natural…" Dot grumbled.

"Your hand…" Skippy ignored Dot's sarcastic comment. "Are you-GUAH!" The squirrel screamed and fell onto his stomach. Dot jolted in horror, seeing the burning hole in Skippy's back!

Max stood his ground and set his laser weapon's setting to "Explosion".

"The joys and wonders of life be damned. This is what I call a major smack down!" Max grinned, cranking his weapon's explosion setting up to its maximum.

"Stop it! Stop it right now before you-!" Dot screamed.

"Sorry. I can't hear you on account of I'M CRAZY!" Max's face twisted up into a bright white grin of horror. He was about to activate it when Dot suddenly shot up to him and grabbed his wrist.

"I won't let you-! AGH!" The young girl was punched across the face, her cheek swelling with blood.

"I could have told you that. You're too goodie-two-shoes to let yourself blow up in a careless blaze of glory! Well I'm not, especially not after what happened to me!" Max screamed as he struggled with Dot over the weapon on his wrist. All he had to do was press it and it would count down for five seconds to a glorious red explosion.

"I don't care what happened to you. All I care about is making sure me, my brothers, and my friends live through this mess you and your cohorts started!" Dot scrambled in her struggle with him, managing to bite his arm and get him to scream. She took the opportunity to remove the wrist weapon from his arm.

"We didn't start it-!" Max angrily clenched the device around Dot's hand with his own fist. "Our slave drivers did! All those bastards who sat on their big rolling chairs, smoking cigars and farting out 100 dollar bills! Making my dream of following in Yosemite Sam's footsteps a reality by letting me star as an antagonist on Tiny Toons and then taking the riches my family earned fair and square before the show even began and using it send my parents packing!"

Dot looked at Max just then. His eyes were full of tears.

"We didn't start jack! They did and they'll all pay for it! Them and anyone who advocates their lifestyle! GIMMIE THAT!" Max jerked hard and clenched his fist around the wrist-weapon. The button was pressed!

Dot noticed it and tossed the weapon behind Max and into the open window of the building he was standing behind. Max spun to face where it was thrown and then turned back to see Dot running away from the site of the impending explosion.

"Get behind the car!" Dot shouted in a desperate voice to the three friends in front of her. Skippy, Mindy, and Buttons all dived behind one of the crashed cars just as the explosion set off. Max stood there as the explosion went off inches behind him, destroying the bottom of the building and shooting out shrapnel, gravel, and debris from the building across the already destroyed street.

Dot managed to jump over the hood and land at her friends' side right as a plume of fire and dust shot overhead. The all ducked down with their heads and ears covered as the car they hid behind took much of the brute force of the explosion!

It was like that for what felt like forever.

The sounds of the blast rang out like thunder and the building rumbled quite a bit still. The crackle of embers going on within earshot signaled that yet another fire had been started.

Dot panted and slumped against the side of the car. Skippy let out a breath of air and groaned. The expression of shedding blood, sweat, and tears never was so prominent to them before but here it was. Mindy felt Buttons cuddle against her which was very much appreciated at this point in time. Skippy eyed the two of them before turning to Dot and watching her actually crawl from behind the car.

"What the-? Where are you g-?" Skippy stepped out too, stopping to see what she was staring at.

Max was on the ground, tons of shrapnel in his back and debris scattered around him. Dot ran up to his body and flipped him over onto his side, so as not to let the sharp and deadly objects sink in deeper.

Dot looked his face over and noticed his eyes were still open and active. They had returned to their normal white color now.

"Sheesh… you're such a softie… I'd have… " Max stopped to cough. "… I'd have run off and left your bodies to burn to ashes…"

Dot's face was downtrodden. "I don't operate like you. That should be pretty clear by now."

Max chuckled a little bit, the tears in his eyes making it hard to fully make her out. "I'll say… what a crappy day… I felt great for not even a full hour before it blew up in my face… Haha… urgh… h-hurts to laugh… must have a shard of glass stuck in my gullet…"

"You're still alive. Stay that way so I can get you some help. We can-" Dot began before Max slapped her on the arm.

"Forget it… me being alive right now doesn't mean anything other then I'm still in the process of dying…" Max said with a relaxed smile.

"Hey! You've got a lot to answer for. You can't-" Dot pressed forward but Max just kept chuckling and shook his head.

"God, you Warners are so weird… e-even when on the deep end like this, Buster eventually cracked and joined us but you… " Max tried to swallow but it just made blood spew from his mouth and sent him into a coughing fit.

"Alright. Stop it! You're just making yourself die faster." Dot winced.

"Don't have a problem with that." Max said, smiling again. "…So… about my money…"

"I don't want to talk! Please just-" Dot began before Skippy put his hand on her shoulder. Dot turned to him and saw his face, urging her to calm down and let it be. Dot eventually sighed and let her tense self unravel and slumped a bit with him still in her arms.

"… So what about the money?" Skippy asked.

"…Y-Yeah… I kept snapping at you guys because of that. Sorry… it's a pretty hot button… m-my… my family… mom and dad… despite what you may have seen… or heard on the show or off it… they earned it all… f-fair and square. I grew up in that house, real rich and… lorded if over everyone I could. It was a pretty big deal to me since I knew no one was going to be my friend for the right reasons… so yeah… I was pretty bitter about that but… someone like me joining this group doesn't make any sense right? A rich kid like me should be happy with what he has right?" Max explained.

Dot and Skippy didn't say anything. Mindy and Buttons just watched from where they were.

"… Well I wasn't. Not really… After Tiny Toons ended my parents ended up losing control over my place in the Warner Brother's studio. Plotz didn't know about it but the higher ups did. Th-they tricked them into a legal battle. It was a custody battle over my image. They knew that if the studio won they were just going to toss me out on the street anyway for the next new toon antagonist, making it a total waste. Heh. They still lost. Then the lawyer got real busy. Started bringing up a bunch of false accusations about wasting the studio's time with legal problems… and something about embezzlement which was also a lie… a bunch of really bad stuff my parents didn't do but HAD to have done because they were toons you know…" Max was speaking in this very uncomfortable rasp, his eyes were starting to blur harder and not from the tears this time.

"… I'm… I'm sorry about that. I didn't know when I brought it up." Dot said.

"You were an enemy. Cheap shots like that are allowed regardless when you're talking to someone you hate. Anywho, they ended up draining my parents of their money. All of it. They earned it all fair and square but no one cared. Not even the sob story about how they only did it thinking of my future turned any heads. Ain't that just fucking disgusting?" Max hacked up more blood.

His whole body seemed like it was dripping and sobbing wet from blood due to the puncture wounds from the shrapnel. The burns from the explosion weren't doing much to help his system either.

"It is… it's terrible…" Dot said, in a low whisper.

"… Yeah well, it got worse. I… I didn't see it happen, thank God, but I know they were murdered. Some mook who was jealous of how rich they were just couldn't believe his luck when he saw them as commoners on the streets. It's hard getting rich but its real easy to kill. Literally anyone can do it." Max's voice was really low now.

Dot began to shake.

"… Why… I don't get it… why do you guys want to live in a world like this? They watch the shows on TV and see us all happy and bouncy but don't know a thing about what goes on behind the scenes and they don't care so long as someone gets hit with a mallet. That's all this is going to turn back into if we fail our mission. Why-"

"We're going to change it!" Dot screamed, her voice cracking and her tears finally falling. "We're the Warner Brothers. Together we can do anything we want! But we need all three of us to do it! That's why Yakko needs to come back to us! And when he does, we'll set out to change the way this is done for the better. We'll make everyone realize who we really are! I promise!"

Max's eyes were half open now. "… Promise? Promises are cheap. Normally anyway, but you guys are even more sturdy and resilient then Buster. Heh… It … it would have been kind of interesting to see how you guys managed to change all this." Max said, sputtering a bit.

"… I… you can…" Dot spoke up again, not even knowing where she was going with those empty words.

"No… no I can't. Truth is, it wouldn't change much for me. My parents are gone and I'm likely not going to make any friends now after this. Hahahagh… gahh…" His breathing as really hard and ragged. "I-I'm… sorry…"

Dot just nodded her head. Max had to chuckle again at that.

"Y-You're… just way too goddamn n-nice… I… I… bag on… p-people like you a-and your brothers a lot but… the world… it… it could use a little more people like you…"

Dot felt Max's body get even limper in her arms.

"… N-Not like me… no world needs people… like me… no one wants… me…"

Dot winced once more.

"… but them… they… they loved me… gave up everything so that… I could live… an' be happy… l-look what I did with it… I… gotta… say s-sorry when… I-If I see them… I hope… I hope I do…"

Dot and Skippy looked down at him, watching his tears fall. All Max could see were his parents looking down on their baby boy.

"… even if… I don't deserve it… j-just to see them one more time… a-and be… h-hap… "

He stopped.

Dot and Skippy looked into his eyes. They were glazed over now. Dot closed them up and laid him on the ground before plopping onto her bottom and rubbing her arm under her nose.

Skippy breathed out a passage of air he didn't even know was tight in his chest still before turning to Dot.

"… Is… your pinky… ?" Skippy began before Dot chuckled and kept one of her hands in her skirt pocket.

"I managed to grab it… haha… maybe it can be reattached if I get it on ice or something. I'd hate to lose it. The pinky is the cutest finger of all. You know I'm all about the cuteness." Dot spoke with a bit of an exhausted rasp in her voice. " Though, I should probably hurry and get my hand wrapped up before I bleed out. What about you?"

"There's a hole in my back." Skippy said simply.

"Oh yeah. That tends to ruin your day..." Dot sighed.

Skippy sniffled, feeling himself tear up. "I don't… I don't know if I can handle…"

"You gotta try. You have to. For the sake of a lot of people; even his." Dot eyed Max's body for a split second before turning back to Skippy. "You'll help me change the world right?"

Skippy wiped away his flowing tears and almost let loose with a crying fit before composing himself.

"Of course I will. If my Aunt Slappy can change the face of comedy then I can help change the face of the world." Skippy swallowed hard before turning to face the wreckage up ahead where more fights were happening.

"You can count on that. Let's move."
