Authors Notes: so I am sorry for not updating this story in a while to be honest I kind of forgot about it. So here it goes I hope you enjoy it and please review.
Ricky's pov
Today was the day me and brax were planning our whole wedding colours flowers everything. To be honest I really wasn't looking forward to this and just wanted it to be over, because girly wedding planning wasn't my thing. I think brax was more excited and into this than I was. I am kind of hoping Bianca will make most the decisions anyway, because I had no idea what I was doing.
Bianca came walking in
BI: are you two ready for today
B: I am but my fiancé has other ideas.
BI: well she will hopefully be helpful, I have a few ideas I would like to show you guys
B: ok let me get ricky. Ricky get in here now
R: do I have to
B: yes come and sit down before I drag you over here and tie you to the chair
R: fine im coming
I sat down next to brax who was sat next to Bianca
Bi: ok so these are the ideas I have she said showing us
R: I like the lilys
B: can we have a mix of lilys and roses
BI: yeh of course, is everything else ok though
R: yeh I like all the other ideas, I like the suit colours as well
BI: ok so this should all be ready in a week so you can get married pretty quick, what day do you want to do it
R: Friday we said in unison
BI: ok, so we need to look at dresses and have a few ideas and then go shopping
R: ok but I have no idea what I like.
BI: its fine that's why we are going to look first
We spent the rest of the day deciding on other wedding things and it was finally time for brax to leave so we could finally look at dresses.
R: bye baby
B: bye ill text you later
R: ok I love you
B: love you to
He said walking out the door
B: so for the most important thing the dress what kind of ideas do you have
R: well I was thinking I would like a train not a long one but a little one I would like maybe a bit of lace but nothing to fancy and a v neck
B: ok well that's a start, look through here and see what you like and then we can narrow it down
It took us a couple of hours to get down to a couple of dresses that I had to be honest were gorgeous, so we made appointments to go the shops and try on the dresses I liked and then we would decided. We had decided on bridesmaids dresses and everything was sorted. Everything was happening on the beach at night.
R: are we finally done
B: yes that is everything
R: that has to be the worst thing I have ever done
B: you really aren't into this are you
R: no really I was never one of those people who dreamed about getting married and it never really bothered me, I was happy the way we were and I don't see the need to do all this, but its what brax wants
B: and you get to become a Braxton
R: yeh I do, we will both be braxtons apart from I will actually change my name
B: excuse me I did change my name to miss Braxton
R: oh so people call you that know
B: yep its kind of weird
R: I thought you didn't want to change your name
B: I didn't but when heath told me about Harley it seemed like the right thing to do that was we were a proper family
R: I guess that makes sense.
B: anyway I better get back to my boys, I will see you tomorrow
The week past and it was know Thursday the day before our wedding and I was nervous and didn't know whether I wanted to do this anymore.
R: brax I don't think I can do this
B: ricky look at me, you love me don't you she nodded her head. So what are you worried about
R: the whole thing, Im nervous about what might happen or that it isn't going to be what you want
B: does whatever happen really matter aslong as we are together and married does it really matter and this is what I want I want you too be my wife so you can never leave me again.
R: I wont leave you I promise, but this isn't what I want
B: ricky, I don't want you to do something you don't want to but we cant call it off know everything is going to be alright when you are walkind down that isle tomorrow just look down it and look at me and you will be fine
R: ok, I will be the one in white
B: I love you and I will see you tomorrow, have a nice time with Bianca and don't be hung over for our wedding
R: I wont I love you, know go before your brothers come in here and drag you out.
He left and we had a girly night of painting nails and working out how we wanted our hair and things. When we had finished that we sat on the sofa and whatched a few dvds there was about 10 of us and most of us had had a couple of glasses of wine to drink.
We woke up the next morning and everyone was excited but I wasn't, I was to nervous to be excited,I wanted things to be perfect with no drama but I didn't know what was going to happen between my parents and braxs mum, they always did hate each other. It wasn't until one that we decided to start getting ready
B: so marilyns going to do your hair, your flowers are in the kitchen and your dress is being steamed
R: ok
Marilyn did all my hair in a up due with a few curly bits hanging down. There was a plat down either side and then it was tied in a low messy bun. I had minimal make up on.
B: ok so cheryle has just arrived and so have your mum and dad
R: oh this is going to be fun
I walked into the living room
R: hey mom hey dad. Hey cheryle brax is next door I think with the boys
C: thanks ricky good luck today
B: ricky you need to go put your dress
R:ok come help me then
As I had lost a lot of weight since I left for London I had chosen a very slim fitting dress at the front it has beading around the edge and a lace flower pattern that had gems over it the front sparkle came about half way down my stomach, the lasce carried on to the back were there was buttons to the top of my bum and that's were the lace met the white silk fabric of my dress and at the back it flowed down with a very small little train it also had an extra piece of fabric attached to the were the lace met the dress, this created more detail and flaired it out more. The front didn't have a lot of detail and just flowed down nicely showing my toned flat stomach and then I had a pair of diamond shaped earings in. which paired nicely with the dress. And I had a white pair of sandles with gems on the front. Bianca was in an aqua blue floor length one shouldered dress and had the same shoes as me on.
B: I think your already
R: thank you
B: its ok you looke beautiful
R: thank you
B: are you ready to go show your parents and everyone else
R: I think so,
B: come on then
She grabbed my hand and opened the door and let me walk out first and everyone turned around and looked at me.
My dad was the first to speak
D: you look beautiful ricky
R: thank you dad
M: I have something for you she said pulling out a grip that held a vail in place
R: mum I don't have a vail
M: well actually you do
She said as Bianca got one out and mum placed the clip in whilst Bianca held the vail
R: thank you mum
M: its ok but I better go and get a seat
R: ok bye
B: im going to go ill meet you at the beach entrance
It was know just me and dad
D: im proud of you
R: thank you
D: no I am I never thought I would walk my baby girl down the isle and here I am, your going to be happy with him because I see the way he looks at you and you couldn't of found anyone better and im glad you found him, im glad you found some one to love and look after you.
R: stop your going to make me cry
D: im sorry, lets go then
We walked to the beach entrance and stood waiting for me was Bianca, I was know extremely nervous
D: you ready
I nodded breathing in and out quickly
R: don't let go dad
D: never
I took a few more breaths before we started to walk Bianca had already started walking know it was just me. I could here a thousand years by Christina perri playing. I couldn't breath I just held on to my dad as tightly as I could and taking deep breaths and walking slowly. We reached the top of the aisle and my dad looked at me and I just nodded at him. It wasn't until I looked down the aisle and saw brax stood there looking at me smiling, that I finally started to breath properly and could relax. The isle was lit with several lanterns leading the way down to the bottom of the aisle, there was people sat on eather side. All the way down the aisle I just looked at him. And when we finally reached the end brax stepped forward and my dad looked at me and kissied me and I whispered in his here thank you daddy. Its ok you deserve to be happy, I love you and with that he gave brax my hand and we stepped forrowerd.
P:Ladies and gentlemen we are gathered here today on this beautiful day to witness the union of darrly Braxton and Erica sharpe. I believe you have both written your own vows.
We both nodded
B: when I first met you over 20 years ago I never thought we would be standing here today in front of all our friends and family vowing to spend the rest of our lives together, but know I see that you were perfect for me the whole time it just took me along time to realise it and I know I have made some stupid mistakes which I regret, but today stood here with you is everything I ever wanted and I hope that one day we can have a family and be the greatest parents, to our little son or daughter, so today I vow to be your husband your carer and your everything just like you are to me, and this ring just shows everybody what I have known in my heart for along time.
I was know crying when he slipped the ring on to my finger
R: well that's a bit of a tough act to follow but I will try, I was nervous about today and wasn't quite sure if I wanted to do this but seeing you stood at the end of the isle smiling at me I knew this was the right thing to do because you have had my heart and my love since the day I have met you and it has just grown over the years and I don't know where my life would be without you because you are my rock you're my soul and you're my other half and without you I wouldn't be the person I am today. So with this ring I vow to love you for the rest of my life no matter what happens and I know that together we can concer anything. I said sliding the ring on his finger. We looked at the vicker
V: you may know kiss the bride
Brax pulled me into him and kissed me, we then turned to the front and everyone started to clapping. He looked at me
B: I love you miss Braxton
R: I love you to mr Braxton I cant believe we just did that
B: it was good though and know we can live a happy life together forever.
R: yes we can I said kissing him
Everyone came and hugged us and we all walked to the edge of the beach everyone having flowers and confetti throwing it into the water.
We just had to get through the rest of the night with no drama.
